As she stares over that mental barrier at him, over that fence that separates her from him, she can't help but smile. She's waiting for the day he'll break and she'll be able to jump over that fence and run into pale arms and quiet his soul with tender kisses and smiling looks. After all, Vinny's just so damn uptight and she can barely stand having to just sit and watch as he harms himself with every word, every thought. In her mind every time he aches she does and every time he gains another scar from his past her mind is scarred just the same.
Nevertheless, she waits for the fence to lower, knowing that in time he'll come.
