Love Letter (I)

Just knowing you're here I already feel better

Just feeling your touch I know I'll be fine

Just by holding my hand you make me feel stronger

Just keeping you here, old friend of mine

Remember that time? I was lying on my bed, and inside. . . I couldn't feel the will to carry on. You came to me and you helped me sit up. When you did that, I found my inner strength. Feeling that was what made me carry on. I couldn't have done it without you. Without you, I wouldn't be standing here today.

Hand on my shoulder, hand on my brow

Voice in my ear, telling me how

Lift me and hold me and help me survive

My love, you make me feel oh so alive

I know that I'm blessed to have you. Nobody told me this, I just know. Who wouldn't want to have someone like you? You're better than all I could ever wish for. You've told me you'll love me unconditionally. You've promised to help me all my life. When I'm with you I can escape. When I'm with you the world is gone. I can fly high with you, go wherever I want. I can close my eyes and soar. You make me forget the world.

I feel you beside me every day

I know that you'll help me to find my way

Walking in step, in perfect time

My love, I'm so happy that you are mine

Just knowing you're here I already feel better

Just feeling your touch I know I'll be fine

Just by holding my hand you make me feel stronger

Just keeping you here, old friend of mine

Just keeping you here, good friend of mine

Just keeping you here, sweet friend of mine

Just keeping you here, true love of mine

Author's notes (Might as well put these in straight text, as the whole piece is in italics): Fear my cheesy titles :D And yes, the (I) in the title DOES imply that there'll be a (II), and maybe even a (III) some day, so look out for that. :D

Well, I wanted to include at least one poem, so: ta-da! Not too sure about it (as usual), but what the hell. Also, the format got reeeeeeally messed up. . . DX Drastic action was taken to implant verses into the poetry.

25th piece in the series!!! I don't really have a target, but I still think that 25 is a number to celebrate. :D
