Recap:
"Then, go! Will you be able to get the train?" Tenten asked.
"Whether it's a train or a bus. I have to go there and take care of my relatives. Sorry, guys!"
"Just go!" Ami exclaimed.
Chapter 25: The Wedding
After Sakura left the hall. Everyone's eyes were on them. Whereas, Sasuke didn't even bother to turned around and look.
"I hope everything's okay. Poor Mebuki-san," Ino said.
"Their aunt must be so worried right now," Tenten added.
"Aa. Ami... do your thing... with a smile. I don't care if it's fake," Temari said when saw she the weird looks that eveyone was giving.
"Uh...sorry about that. My friend - the one who just left - had to leave because something urgent came up. Please don't mind us and let us all forget that that just happened." Ami said with a fake smile.
Everyone returned back to... uh... waiting for the bride. The silence didn't last long when a maid came in, breathing heavily.
"Watanabe-sama got caught into some work. They'll be here in a second. Watanabe-sama said that he would like to apologize for the inconvenience." The maid bowed down in an apologetic manner.
"Work? On his daughter's wedding? He's such an amazing father. Please note the sarcasm."
"That's more like the father I know."
Ami turned to her side when she felt someone pat on her shoulder.
"The bride and her father will be here in a sec. Ami-sama, where is the pen-drive?" One of the maids whispered, bending down a bit.
"I'll do the honor of playing the video...and the music. Leave it to me."
Ami stood up and slightly turned around towards the girls.
'We're-counting-on-you,' the girls mouthed. Ino winked.
Ami smirked back and followed the maid.
[Video in italics]
"Three, two, one. Video cue!"
The music and the video started playing. Seconds after the music started playing the bride came in, and the video started playing.
The video started with a, "To my dear sister Karin. Congratulation on your wedding, from your sister and your loved ones."
The bride took a step, following the slow and peaceful rhythm of the song. Karin had a huge smile on her face when she saw her Sasuke. She became emotional when she saw the video. Thank god, the aile was that long.
Pictures, of when they were four, started playing in the video. Their most precious childhood moments were shown. Karin had a tear running down her cheek. While Ino gagged when she saw Karin.
Just when she and her father were halfway to the aile.
The video stopped and it became scrambled. The music also stopped. Karin, her father and the others were silent when the music stopped.
"Did something happen Ami-sama?" the wedding planner asked.
"I think the music stopped!" Ami faked a surprise look.
"Oh! What should we do now?! We're halfway!"
"Do you have anyother songs in that pendrive?" Another person asked.
"We... I do have one! Shall I play it?"
"Ami-sama there's no time to hesitate. Play it."
"Okay." Ami clicked and played the song... I mean the video.
On the screen came up, "Searching..."
Everyone sighed in relief. Just when Karin and her father were about to take a step.
A video started playing, it was kind of wobbly that they didn't know what it was, but everything became clear. It was clear enough to see the people in the video.
Karin and Suigetsu were standing face to face.
Karin couldn't calculate what was going on. Everyone's eyes were fixed on the screen.
"You're the one who should wake up, Suigetsu! Look at you, wraped around my finger."
"Hn. Me? Wraped around your finger? You're talking about yourself." Suigetsu smirked.
"Shut the fu*k up! My daddy will sue you! Even Sasuke-kun's father will sue you, for bringing me here against my will!"
"Against your will? Are you kidding me? Who was the one who picked up my phone, and came to the designated place?" Suigetsu didn't even bother to raise his voice against someone like her. He'd be only wasting his voice.
"You forced me here!" Karin screeched.
"If I forced you? Then why were you waiting for me at the mall? Sue me? Sure, they'll sue me when they find out that their daughter is a professional liar," he stated, with sarcasm dripping from each and every word.
"What is this?" Mikoto asked, but everyone was focused on the video.
"Let's stop this here. I'm going, so let me go!"
"When are you going to end this stupid charade?" Suigetsu gripped tighter. Karin yelped.
"You shouldn't grip that hard to a pregnant woman." Karin smirked this time when she saw the expression on Suigetsu's face. It wasn't a shocked expression it was more of an...angry look.
Suigetsu loosened the grip on her wrist. Karin took the chance to pull her hand towards herself.
Kyo Watanabe, was fixed at the spot and Karin was still confused.
Karin rubbed her wrist. It was red from the forceful grip.
"Pregnant woman? Oh right, I remember. I almost forgot that you're pregnant."
Karin glared, right through his eyes.
"Scared now?"
"I'm never scared of anything. Can we end this here?"
"Not even the truth?" Suigetsu's smirk turned into a victory grin.
Karin had a shocked expression on her face.
"Y-Y-You won't."
Fugaku had a discontent look on his face while Mikoto gasped, the two already knew where this was going.
"Now you're stuttering?" Suigetsu placed his right hand on her cheek, the grin was still plastered on his face.
Karin pulled his hand away from her cheek.
"Don't touch me!"
Karin raised her hand, to slap him straight on the face but in a split second Suigetsu pulled her hand away. His grip on her wrist was tighter than before.
It might even bleed. Karin groaned in pain, her eyes were becoming glossy.
"Aah!" Karin screamed the pain was becoming worst.
"Hurt? I didn't know that someone like you can also feel pain."
Karin threw her flower bouquet on the ground. "Stop this video!"
"This video is fabricated. Stop it!" Karin walked towards the video room but Itachi stopped her from further going in.
"Itachi, get out of my way!"
"Ami-san, please continue to play the video don't pause it."
"I didn't pause it. I accidentally pressed on the spacebar that's all. I'll play it again," Ami had an evil smirk on her face when she saw the way Karin was reacting.
"Ami? Ami. You... You... Bi**ch! How dare you do this to me?!"
But the video was still playing.
"Admit it! Stop acting like you don't know anything."
"I-I-I'll admit it! Tell me what you w-want me to do!" Karin had tears flowing down her cheeks by now.
Suigetsu released her hand from his grip. She had tears running down her cheeks.
"Do you want me to tell them the truth or will you do the honor of telling them?" Suigetsu crossed his arms with the smirk still adorned on his face.
"I don't what truth you're talking about."
"Shuck the fu*k up Karin. I could destroy your wedding with the Uchiha just like you destroyed the Haruno's - newly bloomed - love life. I know everything about what's going inside that head of your's."
"Her newly bloomed love life, you say? Huh. Suigetsu do you want me that much?" Karin placed her hands on his shoulders.
"I don't want you. I want you tell them the truth."
"Truth! Truth! Truth! That's all you talk about." Karin placed her hands on her hips.
"You should become an actress. You lied to the Uchiha that you're carrying his baby! How dumb is he to believe someone like YOU!" Suigetsu pointed a finger at the red head from was trembling.
Sasuke was staring the screen. His jaws tightly clenched.
"Well he loves me NOT that bi**ch!"
"Ch, right. So that's why he told you to call off the wedding." Suigetsu was being sarcastic as always.
Karin was annoyed. She wasn't someone who would listen and stand quietly. She was Karin Watanabe soon to be Karin Uchiha and she wouldn't dare stand quietly and listen to Suigetsu.
"Shut that hole of your's Suigetsu. Can I go now? You haved annoyed me to you heart's content. Aren't you fed up? 'cause I am!"
"How long are you going to lie to them? What will they do-"
"When they found out that I'm carrying your baby?" Karin stated as if was something to brag about.
Everyone in the room gasped except the gang who was enjoying everything. Sasuke was loosing himself. He lost Sakura for the first time because of Karin and the same thing happened for the second time.
"You need to be in a mental hospital."
"I guess you don't have anything much to say. Let's make this the last time we meet. Stop calling me."
Karin walked passed him.
Kyo Watanabe was loosing his mind. Kyo walked towards his daughter. Before Sasuke could do anything.
Everyone was taken aback when he pulled his own daughter by the hair.
"How could you?! How could you do this to your own father?!" he gripped his daughter by the neck. Karin was continuously gagging.
Itachi and some of the guys were about to stop him but Ami came into the scene. She tried to pull her father's hands away from her sister's neck. The guys helped her and held him back. Karin started coughing blood, Ami kneeled down and stroked her sister's hair.
"Watanabe-san, calm down."
"After all that I did just to raise you! This is what you return me with!"
"Stop it, Kyo Watanabe!"
Kyo Watanabe was shocked when Ami called him by his name.
"How dare you call me by my name?! You're a total disgrace!"
"How can I call you my 'father'? When you didn't even act like one!"
"You shut your mouth! And you, you're no better!" Kyo Watanabe pointed at Karin and exited the room, slamming the doors.
"You never raised us!" Ami shouted back at him.
Karin was weeping on the floor with her wedding dress on.
"Karin, stop weeping. Admit everything that you did," Ami corrected her sister. Karin looked up at her sister and she did something unexpected. She stood up and walked to Sasuke's side.
"Karin, what are you doing?"
Karin didn't bother to listen to anyone. She hugged the Uchiha tightly. His eyes said everything... it showed anger and frustration. Karin hugged him tightly but Ino pulled her off.
"Karin you're crazy!"
But Karin did something out of the box, she smiled at Ino. Not a fake one.
"Sasuke-kun, I'm carrying your baby. We're going to raise him together and watch him walk and..." she giggled a bit between her talk. She was loosing herself, "Sasuke-kun, we'll celebrate his first birthday together and he's going to have your last name."
"Karin, stop it! What are you talking about? You're worrying me!" Ami pulled the red head towards her.
Karin smiled at her sister and said, "Ami, you can help me take care of him when Sasuke-kun's at work."
Karin was...mentally ill... Her actions were showing it.
"Stop! Please, you're the only one that I have now! Stop it, just stop it!" Ami slapped her sister straight on the face.
Karin placed her hand on her cheek. But she still had that weird smile on her face, "Ami, you can help me with the baby shower. Sasuke-kun will be too busy with his work, to help me out. Sasuke-kun and I are preparing a dinner for you and daddy."
Everyone was surprised by the way Karin was acting.
"Stop it! Stop it! Stop it! Sasuke-kun?! Are you crazy?!" Ami screamed, "Karin, you'll never get married to Sasuke-kun! Your wedding ended minutes ago! Stop it! Stop acting!"
Ami was held back by Hinata.
"What are you talking about Ami? I got married to Sasuke-kun two months ago. Are you alright Ami?"
"You're not married to Sasuke! Your wedding ended! The baby that you're carrying is not Sasuke's but Suigetsu's. Suigetsu, is the father not Sasuke!"
"No it's Sasuke-kun! Sasuke-kun is mine! Sasuke-kun is..." She passed out right on the spot, Miura caught her.
"I'll take care of her Ami-sama. Please take care of the guests."
Miura and some other butlers carried Karin away, to get her to the hospital.
The guests were still there observing the scene.
"Wedding, dismissed." Temari wasn't sure with her choice of words.
The guests left, some of them disappointed, some of them were relieved that the wedding was over while some of them bad-mouthed the family.
Sasuke, Mikoto and Fugaku were nowhere in sight. From the Uchiha's side, only Natsume and Itachi were left.
"It's a good thing that Daichi's at home," Natsume said.
"Where's Teme?"
"Family meeting," Itachi replied.
"Then why are you here?"
"It's a Sasuke related Family meeting," Natsume replied for her husband.
