Tyler's POV

Caroline was busy talking to her mom on the phone. She was clearly mad that she interrupted us. I just smiled and looked at my girlfriend. Yay! I have a girlfriend and a great one at that. She is amazing and I am so, so lucky.

I almost want to do the *happy dance*, I am so happy right now.

It's hilarious to look at her talking on the phone. She talks with her hands and she is so gorgeous with her nose scrunched up like that. If she wasn't furious, I would've rolled on the floor laughing.

"So, now I really think my mom is nuts!" she said, while looking all furious.

"What's up, babe? What did she say to you?" I asked.

"The usual; come home please? Are you alright?" she said while sitting back on the couch.

"That's good right? She does care about you, you know." I said.

"Yes, she does. But she is really overdoing it. I usually call her around this time and the 1 time I am a little late, she gets overprotective." She said angrily.

"You know what, baby. I have a great idea to cheer you up!" I said.

"I'm listening." She looked at me and smiled.

"Let's go have a stroll in the forest. It's a beautiful day and it's very peaceful, I really like it there." I said with a smile.

"Okay, let's go sweetie." She said, making my heart beat faster hearing her use that nickname.

She laughed and dragged me out the door.

We were walking hand in hand through the forest. What a moment. This is one of the happiest moments in my life. And all thanks to my sweet and kind girlfriend.

The sun was shining brightly. I sighed, took a deep breath and had a HUGE smile on my face. Suddenly I had an idea.

"Caroline, at certain moments I can feel how you feel. The feelings I get are not mine, but yours. When Chris told us about me being 'the all powerful one' and that 'they' were after me I felt your fear the moment you grabbed my hand. When we kiss I feel, how you feel for me. I asked Chris about it. He was shocked and wanted me to read 'the book'. But we never got the chance. I like to explore that. Will you let me?" I said.

When I said those words her mouth dropped to the floor.

"Are you okay, sweetie?" I asked worriedly, thinking she did not want to do it.

"Yes, I am. That's exactly what I felt when you healed me!" she said surprised.

"Really?" I asked, I couldn't believe it.

"Yes! When you healed me, I felt all your emotions. I felt your feelings for me and I saw me through your eyes." She said with wide eyes.

"That's great. I would like to explore that. Let's have a seat?" I asked.

"Okay." She said with a smile.

Caroline's POV

Tyler brought a blanket and spread it on the ground. We both sat on it, facing each other.

We looked at each other and he took my hands in his.

"Can you close your eyes, please?" he asked, giving me goose bumps all over my body.

He closed his eyes and so did I.

"Do you trust me completely?" he asked.

"Yes, I do with my whole heart." I answered.

"Okay, focus on nothing else but the sound of my voice." He said.

So I did just like he asked.

What I saw and felt when we were sitting on the ground of the forest was astonishing!

Tyler's POV

When I held her hands and closed my eyes, she let me in completely. Not for a part, but all of her. She bared her soul to me and I took a trip through her mind over the years of her life.

I saw and felt her every emotion. When she was little, when we met in kindergarten.

When we became best friends. In elementary school. The day my dad left, when we became strangers. In high school. When we became friends again. And most importantly; when she fell in love with me.

Her love for me is beyond what anyone can feel for someone, it was strong. It was faithful; it was honest, true, unselfish and very deep. The kind that makes you the luckiest person, if you would ever receive it. It was beyond what I could ever deserve.

But here she is, the one person who feels all that for me.

Her emotions were too overwhelming, I let go of her hands and slowly opened my eyes.

She opened her eyes and I probably had the same shocked look on my face like hers.

I couldn't believe my eyes. We saw leaves floating around us!

I felt that we were doing that and on the look of her face Caroline also made a trip through my mind.

I needed more, so I took her hands in mine again and she closed her eyes again. So did I.

I had a vision, but this time it was of the old lady again who told me in my first vision that I could heal Caroline.

She said:" You are going to be fighting a great war. And in a war like that, you will need a lady who will be by your side no matter what and support you with all she can give.

And Caroline Forbes is the one. Hold on to her tightly and never let her go.

But remember one other important thing. All this lies in your hands. You will be the one who decides the faiths of many. Ours and 'theirs'. It is up to you, how you will handle it all.

You are the chosen one and we trust you completely.

Caroline's POV

Like that time he healed me, I felt all his emotions. I even had a trip through his mind.

Tyler still had his eyes closed, when I opened mine. I saw his gorgeous face and looked around me again. The leaves were still floating; brown ones, green ones, red ones, yellow ones.

It was truly amazing! Tyler gasped and abruptly let my hands go. He opened his eyes and looked at me like he had seen a ghost.

A/N again: Oh my God! Tyler will be leading a war?

What did the old lady meant, when she said he will be the one who decides the faiths of many?
