"I'm ok..." Alphonse repeated. "I'm ok, because my father isn't being a nuisance anymore."

Everyone, especially Edward, looked up, and stared at Al with wide eyes. Al looked back at Ed and smirk. "Thank you, sis."

"Alphonse!" Ed exclaimed as Envy gasped. Roy took this moment of low guard and arched his back towards Envy, making Envy loose balance for a short while, but enough time for Roy to roll over and out of Envy's grip.

"Bu-but, Hohenheim w-was..." Takeshi started, but Al stared back at him. "My father's spirit came back to complete only one goal-to get Roy killed-" "Why is it always me?!" "-for some type of revenge."

The Fuhrer took some steps back towards Ed. "No...wait! If Hohenheim is gone, then I won't be able to complete the transmutation! I was going to trick him so I can get a Philosopher's Stone, but now I can't!"

"So this was all for a Philosopher's stone?!" Ed growled. The Fuhrer yelped in fear and stepped away from Ed. "Ah, no no no! You got it all wrong! Hohenheim was trying to bring someone he loved back from the dead, but I thought maybe I could...you know! Get a Philosopher Stone in the process! Pl-please don't hurt me!" he yelped.

Wow, without some powerful guy to back him up, this guy sure is a pussy. Ed thought as she remembered her free hand. She untied her other wrist and stood up. comforting her bruised wrists. "Man, and I thought I could do this ultra super cool secret move if you got too close to me. Bummer..."

Roy strided over to Ed and embraced her into a hug. "Oh my gosh, Edward. I am so sorry for leaving you. I shouldn't have done that and-" Ed stopped him mid sentence. "It's ok, Roy. Just...let's save the apologies for later...I..." She glanced over at Al, who was watching the two from the corner of his eye with a depressed look on his face.

Roy nodded in understanding, and turned to where he thought Takeshi was-but Takeshi fled before anyone noticed him. Roy just shrugged and went over to Izumi and Sig to try to wake them up.

Ed first transmuted some pipes to wrap around the (so-called) Fuhrer, who was still shivering. Ed sighed and looked at Al, who was staring at his hands.

"You ok, Al?" Ed asked as she approached Alphonse. Al just sighed loudly and looked sorrowful at his sister.

"What if I actually DID the transmutation? I would have killed you, Teacher, Sig, Roy, AND Winry (A/N: She uh, passed out from being too scared or something, I really don't know! :P). It could have been MY fault...but you had to take my responsibility snap me back to reality while my selfish side wanted to drown in my own feelings...I...I'm SO SORRY, SISTER!"Al screamed the last part as he broke into tears. Ed nodded and tried to blink back her own set of tears.

She patted Al's back, trying to comfort him. Roy came up and patted Al's back too, and a few seconds later, so did Izumi and Sig, who finally awoken.

"Welcome back, Al." Ed whispered before tears slide down her cheeks.

"Edo..." Winry said as she approached the sobbing crew. Ed looked up and gazed at the sorrowful young lady.

"I...I didn't mean to...I mean...I...I made you all go into trouble again..." Winry started to bawl, but Ed just smiled and patted her on the head. "Winry! It's not your fault! We are crying tears of joy!"

"Hey, sorry to break the little cry fest, but, what in the world happen to that boy?" Izumi said in an even tone. Everyone looked around, but Takeshi was no where to be found.

Roy huffed. "Well, frankly I don't care where he is right now. My concern is how to get the hell out of here."

Ed nodded and everyone semi-split up to find a convenient exit.

"Sister...?" Al began as he trailed behind Ed, who was busy looking for an exit.

"Yeah?"

"Sorry..."

"PHHHFFF! What are you apologizing?" Ed laughed.

"I'm sorry for everything. I was the one who brought so much attraction to my transmutation circle. It was my fault the fuhrer and homunculus and father wanted us. And..it was my fault you was sent to the hospital...and...and..." Al started to feel a swelling in his throat the more he talked.

Ed glanced behind her, staring at her sobbing brother. She hated seeing him like this. She wanted to see him smile. She didn't want him to take the blame (On the contrary, she feels the same guilt).

"Alphonse." she called as she put her hand on said shoulder. She smiled and leaned in and gave him a small but loving peck on the lips and hugged him.

"Come on, Al. Let's go find this exit so we can go ho-"

"YOUR NOT GOING ANYWHERE!"

Everyone froze. They scanned the room as the unidentified voice spoke again. "YOU ARE ALL GOING TO DIE HERE!"

Then suddenly, right above them, you could hear rustling of metals and gears turning and churning. Then, green gas started to make its way down over everyone.

Roys eyes went wide and he quickly covered his face. "Everyone! Don't inhale the fumes! Find a way out, and quick!" he yelled.

As soon as Roy made the daring announcement, everyone started to panick in the room, running around and screaming out in fear. And in all of the mess, you can hear a cackling voice over them laughing. "HAHA! YOU ALL LOOK LIKE ANTS!"

Ed looked up. "Takeshi?" she questioned, but quickly went back into finding an exit as the room became foggy and green.

Before everything was hard to see, Sig waved his hands. "WE FOUND AN EXIT!" he yelled as he disappeared with Izumi and Winry through a small hole in a corner.

Roy turned their way and started to make his way to the exit, but a voice called out again, saying, "Oh no, you don't!"

A big column holding the room up rumbled fiercely and landing right on Roy, pining him down like a wild animal on a rampage. "ROY!" Ed screamed as she witnessed the incident. She swore that the next time she Takeshi, it will be his last!

"Sister? Teacher?! Anyone?!" Ed heard Al yell out. Ed heard the voice coming from her left, but the fumes covered her view, so she figured Al couldn't find out where he was and where the exit was.

"HURRY UP! THE FUMES WILL KILL YOU!" Izumi called from the hole, and Ed looked back.

Ed looked at the collasped Roy and the lost Al. Ed coughed furiously, and felt like her head was going to explode. I...can't last in here for long...she thought.

So that means...Ed thought with horror. As much as she couldn't bring herself to say it outloud, her thoughts had another plan of its own.

I can only save one of them.
