Jack Don't Leave Me Chapter 25

Wheeljack and Smokescreen were on edge. One could say they were paranoid, and they had every reason to be. For one simple reason, Arcee was released from the med bay along with Chromia. Meanwhile Arcee was comforting a crying Chromia, swaying her gently in an attempt to calm her cries. "Shh shh" Arcee said as she held her in her arms. Once Chromia was asleep, Arcee put her back into her crib. Arcee herself couldn't help but smile, she couldn't thank Primus enough for this second chance. Stroking Chromia's face softly with her finger.

"So she finally fell asleep" a voice said. Arcee stopped stroking Chromia's face, and turned around to face the voice. "Yeah she did" Arcee said as she turned around to face Jack who stood in the doorway. She also noticed Prowl hiding behind Jack's leg. Then Arcee remembered that she had something to take care of. "Hey Jack can you keep an eye on Prowl and Chromia" Arcee asked. "Ah yeah going somewhere Cee?" Jack asked. "I have some business to take care of" was Arcee's replied. Jack let Arcee pass him on the way out the door of Chromia's nursery. Prowl was about to follow his mom, when "Prowl sweetie what did I say" Arcee asked in a low tone of voice. "To stay here with daddy and my little sister Chromia" was Prowl's reply. "Besides I don't want you to see or hear what I am going to do." Arcee added. Then Jack and Prowl watched, Arcee's retreating form as she walked out the door. Both were slightly confused as to what Arcee had to do.

Meanwhile Smokescreen and Wheeljack, were working somewhere in the command center. In one of the rooms you can hear grunting as Smokescreen and Wheeljack were moving some large crates around. Then both of them stopped to catch their breaths. Suddenly Wheeljack stopped breathing and stood absolutely still. Smokescreen was doing the same before either one could say or do anything, the door to the room they were in its door was torn off the hinges. "Oh frag" Wheeljack thought to himself silently. You could hear a pin drop, nobody said anything. Wheeljack and Smokescreen came face to face with a lion who had been let free and went now looking for its prey.

Then suddenly all hell broke loose. "What the hell is wrong with the two of you!?" Arcee screamed or most likely screeched. Which in turn caused Wheeljack and Smokescreen to cover their audio receptors. Then when they took their servos off their audio receptors, the pair heard a low growl. But took a step back because Arcee was advancing on them backing them into a corner. Cowering in fear I mean come on people what else were they suppose to do. Just as Arcee was about to frag the hell out of them, possibly made even dismember them. So Ratchet maybe with the help of Primus put them back together again. (Again my reference to Humpty Dumpty). "We didn't see him" honest Wheeljack said still cowering and hoping not to incriminate himself further. But sadly that wasn't the case, Smokescreen then blurted out "It isn't all Wheeljack's fault, we couldn't stop the massive ball of steel." Then added "Wheeljack is right about one thing he didn't see Prowl honest." Arcee wavered her gaze to Smokescreen as he spoke. But thanks to her keen sense of hearing, Arcee heard Wheeljack mumbled under his breath "I was right she is an angry blue motorcycle dragon." "Excuse me what did you say" Arcee said her voice dripping or rather seething with anger. Again Wheeljack ceased movements once again. Realizing his mistake, hee hee Wheeljack said before Arcee took matters into her servos and plummet the fragging hell out of both Wheeljack and Smokescreen. The same couldn't be said for Wheeljack, because he got plummeted more for the comment he made about Arcee only a few minutes before. Lets just say this when Arcee finished with them, they were going to need Ratchet to patch them up. Arcee then threw something in for good measure, she left Wheeljack and Smokescreen in the state they were on. She simply left Smokescreen and Wheeljack in the room. A couple of hours later some bots found them, and took them to Ratchet to be fixed up.
