Potion Catastrophe

Chapter 24

A/n I normally don't put this at the start of this story but I wanted to let you guys know that the poll for Harry's kids is closed. You'll see what he has as you read and what the names are. I will give credit to those that came up with the names at the end of this chapter. Happy reading

The three newly bond mates had been living at their new home for just under a week's time. Five days making today New Year's Eve.

The three seem to love their home. The basement was converted into a lab for Severus. It were said man spent a lot of his time. If Draco and Harry could not find him they knew where to start looking.

The first floor had a small kitchen, dining room and living room.

Harry had taken over the kitchen. While living with the Dursleys he had been forced to learn how to cook and cook well. It was one of two things he like doing there. Being outside in the garden being the one he liked doing.

So Harry spent part of the first day learning were everything was and making a list of what they would need. Severus would have to go out from time to time to get things they would need like food and baby surplice. So Harry made a list of things for the kitchen Severus would have to get on his first trip out.

Harry had looked in the dining room and love the way it was set up. It was a small room with a square table for the three of them. The table would be able to grow as the family did.

There was even a small china hut in one corner of the room. Harry knew that with time it would be filled with things that the family would hold dear to their hearts. Anything from things that the kids made them to photos of the family.

Draco had taken over redecorating the living room. Thanks to Severus taking the tracking spells off their wands Draco was able to go nuts with the redecorating.

He started with the floors. They were a dark hard wood color so over that he placed a thick white rug.

The couch and chairs were soft black leather. The curtains were a soft grey color that would be tied back turning the day to let light into the room.

The mantle above the fireplace would hold family photos. Right now it just held the bonding photo of them. More would hopefully fill it up soon.

Draco used the space under the stairs as a book case. The lower shelves would be for the kids and their books. The higher up ones would be for the adults and their books. Right now it was full of Severus potion books and few of Draco's books he like to read for fun. Harry didn't have any books, yet.

Getting the first floor the way those two wanted it had taken about a day and half. They then went upstairs to the second floor. Harry and Draco agreed to have the babies share a room at first. Once the children were old enough they could decide who got what room and how they would want it.

They had decided on a jungle them. There were trees in all four corners with the branches that not only reach out but up. Some of the branches on the walls were shelves to hold just about anything in the room.

The ceiling was mix of leaves and branches. You could also see some birds and monkeys up there as well. The middle of the ceiling were one could see either the moon or the sun. It was bewitched to show the sky outside just like in the Great Hall at Hogwarts.

The floor was hard wood colored to look like dirt with a green rung in the middle to look like grass. There was also grass along the border of the room that went up the wall some as different animals were shown. Animals like apes to lions and tigers to elephants. Just about any type of anime one might find in a jungle.

The crib the babies would share at first was a dark wood color with a brown baby bumper going around it. The sheet had cute baby animals all over it just like the mobile over the crib.

There was a changing table across from the crib of the same color. This was under one of the two windows in the room. The curtains were a soft white color that during the day would be tied back to let light in. On the shelves under the changing table were all the things one would need to change a baby's diaper.

There was also a rocking chair in one of the corners of the room. Across from that was a toy box waiting to be filled with all the toys the kids would play with as they grew up. The toy box sat under the other window.

Next to the toy box was wardrobe. It was full of baby clothes at the moment. It was full of just about anything a newborn would need in all different colors.

That room had taken all three of them to get it just right. Well mostly Severus using his magic to set the room up with Harry and Draco telling him were to put things in the room. Severus had never been so happy for a room to be done as he was when that one was.

The master bedroom was left the way they found it. A large king size bed was across from the door of the room. The head board and foot board were done out of oat wood and the sheets and cover were all different shades of blue.

To the right of the door was a glass door that open out to the balcony. There was a table and three chairs of white iron. They were spelled to be rust proof. There were dark blue curtains over them to keep the light out if one wish to do so.

To the right of the main door was another door this one lead to the master bathroom. Across from the balcony was a sitting room.

The sitting room had a large fire place with a couch and two chairs. They were done in the same dark blue as the curtains. There were book cases on either side of the fireplace. They all knew they would be filled with books in no time flat.

The master bathroom had light color hard wood floors with soft white rugs in front of the tube, stand-alone shower and toilet.

The sink was to the left of the door. It was a white marble sink with brass handles. The counter top was a black marble with cabinets under it.

Next to that was the toilet with the tub across from the door.

The tub was huge. It looked like it could hold all three of them then some. It was on a small platform with different tabs. There were tabs for hot, cold, and different smells. There was even one for bubbles.

Next to the door to its right was the stand-alone shower. The walls throughout the bathroom were black and white.

The shower's head was in the middle of the shower so it sprayed down on you from above, just like in a rain storm. The doors were made from opaque glass. That way the person taking a shower could have some privacy. The towel rack was next to the shower.

The three were sitting in the living room talking. They had just gotten done having lunch and cleaning up. They were talking about what they might do tonight to celebrate the ringing in of the New Year.

Harry was about to say something when he felt a dull pain in his abdomen. It was a weird feeling and one he had never felt before.

"Harry are you ok?" Severus asked when he saw a slight pain along with a confused look in the young man's eyes.

"Ya, I think so." Harry said as the feeling seem to pass. "It's nothing I'm sure." He then said with a smile.

Severus kept an eye on Harry for the rest of the day. It was a good thing that he did because as the day went on the dull weird feeling that Harry got started to get more and more pain full.

Harry because of his childhood didn't complain about the pain nor did he say anything. Yes he knew that he had a right to and should but it was drilled into his head not to. That it would only make the pain worse if he did. So he kept quiet about it most of the day.

It was getting late when Harry let out a whimper of pain as they all started to stand up to go to bed. The whimper caught both Severus' and Draco's attention.

"Harry, what's wrong?" Severus asked being at the young man's side.

"I don't know." Harry said as another sharp pain hit him almost making him double over in pain.

"Um Severus I think he's in labor." Draco said with wide eyes at how much pain Harry was in.

Severus looked at Draco for a moment then back at Harry as he helped him sit back down. Taking some floo powered he throw it in before kneeling down and yelling out Medical Ward Hogwarts. Once the flames were green he stuck his head in and shouts out Pomfrey's name.

"Yes I'm here Severus. You don't have to shout for the whole school to hear." She said as she kneeled down in front of her own fireplace. "Now what is wrong?" she then asked.

"It's Harry. I think it's time." Severus answered as Harry let out a soft cry this time.

"Get him up to a room while I gather my stuff. I'll be there in a moment." She said as she got up.

Severus pulled his head from the fire as he turned and helped Harry stand up again. "When Pomfrey gets here tell her we are in the first door on the left." Severus told Draco as those two started to walk away.

It was now about an hour later. Draco had stayed outside the room to scare of what he might see. He knew that they would both have to have a C-section as they had no other way to give birth but from the screams he knew Harry was in pain. Draco was not looking forward to that when he gave birth.

He had also heard the raven haired young man use some words he didn't know that Harry knew. Harry had also used a few words that Draco had never heard of before and even heard him hiss a few times. Draco figured he was cursing Severus out in Parseltongue.

After a few moments everything quiet down some. He could hear Pomfrey and Severus talking but could not make out what they were saying. Draco figured at this point Pomfrey must have numbed the pain some so she could start the C-section.

Then he heard the one of the babies start to cry just 5 minutes to midnight. Just as the clock stuck midnight he heard the last twin starts to cry. It never dawn on him that the two babies now had different birthdays.

A few moments later Draco was allowed into the room. He smiled as he saw Harry and Severus each holding a baby wrapped in blue blankets.

"Boys." Draco whispered as he moved closer to them. "What are their names?" He asked.

"Baby one, the one that Severus is holding is called Michael Taurus Black-Snape. And this one is called Christopher Orion Potter-Snape." Harry said with a smile.

"Why two different names?" Draco asked confused.

"We did that to show who would inherit what. The first born gets the Black inheritance while the second born will get the Potter inheritance. They both will get part of the Snape and Prince inheritance just like yours will." Severus explained.

Draco gave a nod to this as he came close enough to look at the twins for the first time. Both were really small. Both were 5 pounds even and 15 inches long. They both had black hair but it looked like Michael would have Harry's green eyes while Christopher would have Severus' black eyes. Luckily neither one of them got the Snape noise.

Pomfrey was putting her stuff away when Severus asked her to take a picture of the new family for them. She was more than happy to.

She also swore that she would not tell anyone where they were or what happen. But she did warn them that the birth certificates were already in the hall of records. It happen as soon as they were filled out.

Thanking her Severus saw her to the fireplace so she could get back to Hogwarts and close the floo off again.

On he's way back to where he's family was Severus rolled up he's sleeve on his left arm and looked at the dark mark. He knew that soon it would start to cause him problems from where he would be summoned by the Dark Lord to hand over one of his children. But when he did not show up the pain from the dark mark would get much, much worse.

He would have to increase he's research to find a way to either numb it or get read of it. He knew one way was for the Dark Lord to be killed but that was not an option as of yet. Harry would need to heal before he could start to train and figure out a way to kill the monster.

Severus just pushed his sleeve down as he shook those thoughts from his head. He would deal with it later. He just did not know how soon he would have to deal with it.

A/n There is the next chapter and the birth of the twins.

Over all most of you wanted Harry to have twin boys. I also want to thank ShadowFireHime-Soma for the names Michael Taurus and HPSlash Addict for the names Orion Potter. I came up with the name Christopher.

I do have a new poll up asking what Draco should have. I will add what people pick with this new poll with what people pick with my old one for the gender of Draco's kid. So you still have time for him and to send in names for his kid.
