Chapter 25: Graduation Showdown

After the duel had ended, they all gathered in the dining area for relaxation.
Ginny groaned and replied, "That was the toughest duel I ever had to endure."
Christina then replied, "Who knew that would remake him and his deck."
Kelly then replied, "You deserve the win. You took down his best monsters with your Synchro Army."
Lucas then replied, "That was a cool duel."
Blackhawk then replied, "You never got any new cards for winning."
Suddenly, the doors opened up and Carly walked in with Ashley and Kevin behind her and Carly smiled and replied, "Hey, Ginny."
"Hi, Carly. Do you need anything?"
Carly nodded and replied, "I never gave you anything for beating Kaiba in a duel."
She took a red envolope out of her pocket and she replied, "I've kept these cards for you when you actually become a member of the Future Fighters. Since you're now a true member, you deserve them."
She handed her the envolope and she ripped it open and saw the two cards and both were Xyz monsters!
Christina then replied, "Anything good, Ginny?"
Ginny sighed and replied, "I guess so. I'm not intrested in Xyz monsters."
Carly then replied, "I know your loss to that jerk was a heart breaker, but you have to move on and use the cards! Both are rare and powerful!"
Ginny then replied, "With all do respect Carly, I still can't use them at all. I only use Synchro monsters."
Kevin sighed and replied, "I want you to use them."
Ginny looked at him and replied, "Why, dad?"
Kevin then replied, "Your whole family has used the Xyz monsters since they appeared. They all powerful monsters and alot of them have good effects."
Ashley nodded and replied, "I Have a couple of Xyz monsters I use them alot as well."
Ginny then replied, "If I do ever use these cards, I'll need some new cards to support them and my Synchro deck."
Carly smiled and replied, "Use them with pride and honor and you'll get your wish, my friend."
Ginny looked at the Xyzs closely and she smile dand replied, "Wow, these are very powerful monsters. I want to use them now!"
Carly nodded and replied, "Great choice, Ginny. You all report to arena at about 10:00 tomorrow morning for the graduation."
She turned around and left and then Ginny looked at the two cards again and she replied, "Maybe Xyz monsters are the best cards to use after all."
Christina then replied, "I've always like them."
Kelly nodded and replied, "You'll be fine with just 2 of them for now."
Ginny smiled and replied, "These will be fun to use cards."

Back in the past in the beasts HQ, Shade and Slade were talking with Jacob and Sledge.
Sledge then replied, "No word from those girls at all and its getting odd to haven't heard from them in about 4 days now."
Shade then replied, "I do find it odd they haven't been heard from in that long of time."
Suddenly, the doors flew open and Maris & Bulldog ran in and Maris replied, "Master Shade."
He looked at him and replied, "What is it, Maris?"
Maris then replied, "We just found where those brats have been!"
"Where?"
"They've been in the future! They teleported from that Ginny girl's apartment in the downtown area!"
Shade groaned and replied, "They've must went in time to get more members back to stop our plans!"
Slade then replied, "What do we do now?"
Maris smiled and replied, "I am actually a spy from the Savage Beast group in the future and my buddy R.J. was arrested that night. I'll glad go back to my time and destroy their chances of ever entering any portal and we'll be able to do more damage!"
Bulldog then replied, "I hate to admit it, He has a good plan."
Shade nodded and replied, "Really good plan, Maris. Do what you have to and if they win, those brats will never leave. Don't have a device that will shot down their chances of leaving the future?"
He nodded and replied, "Your older son Shane has already took care of that, sir."
"Good to hear."
As Maris, Bulldog, Sledge and Jacob were leaving the room, Slade looked at his father and replied, "What has he been anyway?"
"He's been staying at a apartment we bought for him in London for a while and he comes home soon. He helps us with all sorts of stuff around this HQ, son."
"That makes sense. I miss my brother."

Later that night and with the help of a undercover member in the apartment, Maris snuck in with the duel disk on his arm and a deck he grabbed from his buddy when he was arrested."
He sighed and replied, "If I do this, you must help me get R.J. back, Shade."
Suddenly, he took a small box and pushed a few buttons on it and a portal appeared infront of him and he looked around the place and replied, "With those kids stuck in the future, this place will make another awesome base for us. I wonder if Shade or Slade would ever let me have this."
He looked at the portal and replied, "If I did this right, this will he send me to my hidden lair near the entrance to their building."
"FOR THE SAVAGE BEASTS!", he screamed out loud as he ran into the portal and then it closed up.

That next morning in the arena, Carly was about to hand out the jackets while ever member based in Minnesota was watching from the stands.
Carly then replied, "I am so very proud of your dueling skills, you 4. You've shown me what true dueling is all about and I am really proud of your skills as a duelist."
The crowd began to cheer and Carly the replied, "Come get your jackets now. You four all now Future Fighter members!"
The 4 came up and grabbed their jackets and put them on and she replied, "You each also deserve a copy of our card as well."
Sebastian went into the pocket of his robe and got up 4 white envolopes and handed each one to the graduates and she replied, "Open them up."
The all did and saw the Synchro inside and Christina then replied, "Its you..with armor on!"
Carly smiled and replied, "Its quite a useful card to use if you ask me. The card requires any kind of tuner plus as many non-tuner monsters as well!"
Ginny then replied, "This will go good with the cards I use."
They all placed the cards in their pockets and Carly replied, "Good luck and have fun..."
Suddenly, the lights in the arena went out and then a few lights lit up again and Carly replied, "Sebastian, whats going on?"
The sage then replied, "I have no idea, Carly! This is not right at all!"
"Damn right it's not!", a scared Parker said.
Suddenly, the back doors opened up and Maris ran in wearing a black leather jacket with chains covering it, black leather pants with a belt through them as well. The image of a angry tiger on its back.
Ingrid then replied, "Thats a spy from the beasts!"
Lucas then replied, "What a damn minute! He's the guy that escaped after my brother arrested his partner in crime R.J.!"
Maris looked at him and replied, "After I take care of this, I'm going back in time and taking that jerkoff off!"
Carly then replied, "I don't know why you're here, but what the hell do you want with us?"
Maris looked at her and he took out a device and replied, "With one push of a button, all your teleporting and portal will never work again!"
Sebastian then replied, "Answer her question, Beast!"
Maris chuckled and replied, "Okay. I wnat a duel with these bratty girls and if I win, I'll seal the portals up and I'll also inform my other members of this place!"
Ginny then replied, "Fine, we'll crush you."
Carly sighed and then replied, "How about a duel with the leader of the Future Fighters? Your boss will love to find out you beat the leader in a fair duel!"
Maris then replied, "I'd be a idiot not to accept that offer. Fine, I accept. I win and the portal system will never work!"
Carly then replied, "Fine and if I win, we arrest you and make sure you don't go anywhere for a very, very long time!"
Suddenly, a duel disk appeared on her arm and it looked Kaiba's old disks except it was covered in diamonds.
Maris smiled and replied, "Damn."
Carly then replied, "I'd knew you would love to see this thing. You win, I'll hand over my disk to you as well."
Maris then repleid, "Your funeral, lady."
Both activated their disks and both drew 5 cards from them.
"Game on!", both yelled out.

Ginny looked at her sister and replied, "Have you ever seen her duel before, sis?"
Blackhawk sighed and repleid, "No one has."
Lucas then replied, "This will be a intresting duel to say at least."
Sebastian smiled and repleid, "I know about her deck and these kids will will love to see what it is."
Carly drew a card and replied, "Ladies first. I'll set a monster facedown and 1 card facedown and that'll end my turn now."
Maris drew a card and replied, "I summon Kabazauls!"
As she sat the card down, a hippo-like dino appeared with grunt (ATK: 1,700).
Carly then replied, "I see you using your friends deck."
"Damn right I am. I got some new cards and I'm happy with what I got! Attack her facedown card with Power Sneeze!"
The dino began to puff up and began to grunt.
Christina smiled and replied, "This will be funny!"
"AACHHO!", the dinosaur sneezed out a huge gust of wind shot out and a small monkey-like creature holding onto a spear appeared on the card (DEF: 300) and shattered into pieces as the winds got to much for it.
"Bless you.", Maris said with a smile.
Carly sighed and repleid, "When Shien's Footsoldier is destroyed in battle, I can special summon a level 3 or lower Six Samurai from my deck and I choose my Six Samurai - Yaichi!"
Suddenly, a samurai with a bow and arrow appeared (ATK: 1,300).
Ginny then replied, "Wow, a Six Samurai deck?"
Sebastian then replied, "Before Carly took over the Future Fighters, she was gifted in the art of Martial Arts. She got the highest rank in Karate and she read about the ancient tales of the samurai from Ancient Japan."
"Whatever. I'll set 2 cards facedown and that'll end my turn now."
Carly drew a card and replied, "I play Reinforcements of the Army!"
She played the card and took a monster from her hand and placed it in her hand and then she replied, "I now play Six Samurai United!"
The spell card appeared and then she replied, "I now summon my Six Samurai - Zanji!"
As she sat the card down, a burst of light appeared and the samurai of light appeared with a warcry (ATK: 1,800).
"Since I summoned a Samurai, my card gets a Bushido counter!"
Suddenly, a glowing orb appeared floating around the card.
"I now use Yaichi's ability! By not letting him attack this turn, I can destroy one of your facedown spell or trap cards!"
He aimed and fired a arrow, impaling his facedown Mirror Force and then the trap shattered and then Maris growled and replied, "I activate my other facedown card now!"
The trap appeaed and it looked a 2 large dinosaurs roaring at a troop of scared fiends.
"Its called Extinction Wrath and you'll find out soon enough what it does."
"Whatever you say. Zanji, attack!"
The warrior went in and jammed his sword into the sneeze-ridden dino and it let out a weak roar before it shattered into pieces as well (Maris LP: 8000 - 7900) and he smiled and replied, "Since you destroyed my Dinosaur monster, my Extinction Wrath trap card gives you 500 damage!"
She only sighed as she glowed (Carly LP: 8000 - 7500) and then she replied, "I'll set a card facedown and that'll end my turn now."
Maris drew a card and replied, "I now summon my Black Brachios!"
As he sat the card down, a small Brachiosaurus appeared (ATK: 1,800).
"When Normal Summoned, one of your monsters's postion is changed!"
Suddenly, Zanji knelt (DEF: 1,300).
"Next, I play Polymerization to fuse the Gilasaurus and the Kaitoptera in my hand!"
As the two dinosaurs appeared, they merged togher and formed a large black-skinned Pterodactyl appeared with a roar (ATK: 2,000).
"This is my Horned Saurus!"
Kelly then replied, "Wow."
Sebastian sighed and replied, "I know that damn things effect too!"
"When Fusion Summoned, this big guy can attack directly! Attack!"
The dragon opened its mouth...
Carly smiled and replied, "I activate Soul Shield of the Six!"
The trap appeared.
"When I have 2 or more Six Samurai on my side of the field or in my graveyard, I can reduce any damage to zero!"
Maris growle dand replied, "Damn it! Black Brachios, attack her Zanji!"
The dino charged in towards Zanji...but Yaichi got in the way before he was headbutted by the dino, blowing him to pixels.
"Damn, I forgot about their stupid abilites! I End my turn now."
Carly drew a card and replied, "I summon my Six Samurai - Kamon!"
As he sat the card down, the explosives expert of the Six Samurai appeared (ATK: 1,500 and then a 2nd counter appeared floating around the spell card.
"Next, I play A. Forces!"
The spell appeared and they began to glow (ATK: 1,500 - 1,900) - (ATK: 1,800 - 2,200).
"I now skip Kamon's attack to destroy 1 facedown card!"
He took a stick of dynamite from his pocket and then lit and threw it and it exploded, blowing the trap card to little pieces.
"I now attack!"
Zanji lept into the air and jammed his blade into the dinosaurs stomach and it let out a roar of pain before it collapsed to the groud in a pile of bones, which turned to dust (Maris LP: 7900 - 7700).
Carly smiled and replied, "I'm enjoying this duel alot right now. I'll set a card and that'll end my turn now."
Maris drew a card and replied, "I'll set a monster and switch my dino to defense postion and I'll set a card facedown and that'll end my turn now."
Carly drew a card and replied, "I now summon my Legendary Six Samurai - Enishi!"
As she sat the card down, another samurai appeared (ATK: 1,700 - 2,300) and then Kamon and Zanji looked at him and they saluted him (ATK: 1,900 - 2,100) - (ATK: 2,200 - 2,400).
"Legendary Six Samurai?", A confused Ginny asked.
Sebastian smiled and replied, "Lets just say that the Legendary Six Samurai monsters are improved forms of their younger counterparts."
"Since i control two Six Samurai monsters, he gains 500 attack and defense points now."
Suddenl, his sword began to glow (ATK: 2,300 - 2,800).
"Lets do it. Kamon, attack!"
He lit a stick of dynamite and he tossed and it exploded, blowing Black Brachios to pieces.
"Enishi, attack!"
the warrior went and a Black Stego appeared on the card (DEF: 2,000) and was blasted to pieces as he struck with his weapon.
"Zanji, attack directly!"
The samurai went and slashed Maris across the chest (Maris LP: 7700 - 5300) and he groaned and replied, "I activate Damage Gate."
Suddenly, Horned Saurus appeared (ATK: 2,000).
"Whatever. I end my turn now."
Maris drew a card and replied, "I first use my Mystical Space Typhoon!"
The storm began and ripped the A. Forces card apart.
"I now play De-Fusion!"
Suddenly, the large dino vanished and a Gilasaurus (ATK: 1,300) and a smaller form of the bigger dino took it place (ATK: 1,400).
"I now offer them both for my Ultimate Tyranno!"
As the two dinos vanished, the large armored dinosaur appeared (ATK: 3,000).
Blackhawk then replied, "This guy shows no mercy!"
"Damn right I don't! attack them all!"
The huge went and it was a brutal sight to see. First it grabbed Kamon in the jaws and swallowed him whole and then he slashed with its claws, ripping into Zanji's armor and blowing him to pieces and then he swung his tail and it slammed in Enishi and he let out a groan before he collapsed to the ground and burst into globules of light (Carly LP: 7500 - 5200).
Maris laughed and replied, "Too easy! I'll set a card and that'll end my turn now."
Carly drew a card and replied, "I activate One Day of Peace!"
Both drew a card and she replied, "I'll set a monster and that'll end my turn now."
Maris drew a card and replied, "I play Poison of an Old man."
He began to glow (Maris LP: 5300 - 6500) and then he replied, "Tyranno, attack."
The dino charged in and a Six Samurai - Yariza appeared on the card (DEF: 300) and the dino grabbed the samaurai in its mouth and made a hard chomp, biting Yariza in two.
"I'll set a new monster facedown as welll as 1 card facedown and that'll end my turn now."
Carly drew a card and replied, "You noticed I never sent my Six Samurai United to the graveyard, even though It had 2 Bushido counters on it. I now do so to draw 2 cards!"
As the spell dissolved into grains of light, she drew 2 cards and then she replied, "I now banish 2 of my Six Samurai that are in my graveyard to summon my Enishi, Shien's Chancellor!"
As she took his Yariza and Yaichi and banished them, a mighty warrior of the Six Samurai appeared (ATK: 2,200).
"Next, I summon my Shien's Dardevil!"
As she sat the card down, another of the samurai warriors appeared (ATK: 1,600).
"When he's normal summoned, he gains a Bushido counter and 300 attack."
Suddenly, his sword began to glow (ATK: 1,600 - 1,900).
"I now forfeit my warriors chance to attack to all him to destroy a monster on the field!"
He pointed his sword at the huge dinosaur and swung his blade and it shot and struck the huge dinosaur and it let out a huge roar before it exploded into pixels.
"Attack his facedown monster!"
Dardevil went in and a Uraby appeared on the card (DEF: 800) And he made a mighty swing with his sword, decapating the dinosaur. The remains dissolved into pixels.
"I now play Supremacy Berry now."
She began to glow (Carly LP: 5200 - 7200) and then she smiled and replied, "Thats good. I'll set a card and that'll end my turn now."
Maris drew a card and replied, "I now summon my Dyna Base!"
As he sat the card down, a large machine appeared (ATK: 0).
"I now tribute it and 1 Dinosaur from my Extra Deck to summon my Dyna Tank!"
As the machine vanished and he discarded a Black Tyranno from his hand to the graveyard, Black Tyranno appeared while riding a large tank (ATK: ?).
"It also gains the attack of the tributed dino!"
Suddenly, it began to glow again (ATK: ? - 2,600).
Christina then replied, "Dang."
"Attack his Enishi!"
The dino tank opened its mouth and launched a huge of hot flames and they shot out and incinerated Enishi (Carly LP: 7700 - 7200).
"There you go! I end my turn now."
Carly drew a card and replied, "I now activate The Transmigration Prophecy! Return your Tyrannos back to your deck!"
He nodded as he reshuffled the cards back into his deck and then she replied, "I'll switch my Daredevil to defense postion and Then I'll set a card and set a new monster facedown and that'll end my turn now."
Maris drew a card and replied, "I play Silent Doom."
Suddenly, Uraby appeared and knelt (DEF: 800).
"I tribute this dino for my Sword-Tailed Beast!"
As the raptor vanished, a dino with a sharp blade on its tail appeared (ATK: 1,700).
"This is the effect form of Sword Arm of Dragon. When I summon it with a dino, it gains 600 attack and a piercing ability!"
Its tail began to glow (ATK: 1,700 - 2,300).
"Yea! Dyna Tank, attack!"
The huge dino-machine let out more flames and a Morphing Jar appeared on the card (DEF: 600) and the flames roasted it and then both discarded their current hands and both drew 5 cards apiece.
"Darn it. Sword-Tailed Beast, attack!"
The dinosaur went and he jammed his sharp tail into the Daredevil's chest and he fell backwards before shattering into pixels (Carly LP: 7200 - 5900).
"There you go. I'll set a card and that'll end my turn now."
Carly drew a card and replied, "I first play Reinforcements of the Army!"
She took a monster from her deck and placed it in her hand and then she replied, "I start with my 2nd Zanji!"
As she sat the card down, the second samurai of light appeared (ATK: 1,800).
"I now play Double Summon to bring out my Six Samurai - Irou!"
As he sat that card down, a dark samurai appeared (ATK: 1,700).
"Next, I special summon my Grandmaster of the Six Samurai!"
As she sat the card down, the aged warrior appeared (ATK: 2,100).
"I now play my 2nd A. Forces!"
Suddenly, they began to glow (ATK: 1,800 - 2,500 - (ATK: 1,700 - 2,300 - (ATK: 2,100 - 2,700).
"I now play Book of Moon!"
Suddenly, Sword-Tailed Beast vanished was replaced with a facedown monster. I never did forget about your Dyna Tank's ability, dummy! Irou, attack his facedown monster"
Irou went and he jammed his sword into the facedown monster and the dinosaur appeared on the card bedore it shattered to little bits,
"Grandmaster, go for the big guy!"
He lept into the air and he jammed his sword into the center of the tank and it roared before the whole tank exploded into fiery metal.
"Zanji, attack the punk directly!"
The warrior went and struck Maris down (Maris LP: 6500 - 3900).
Ginny smiled and replied, "Awesome, Carly!"
Kelly then replied, "She really does have a awesome deck!"
Sebastian nodded and repleid, "Makes me proud she's my boss."
"There you go, punk! I end my turn now."
Maris drew a card and replied, "I summon my Babycerasaurus!"
As he sat the card down, a tiny dino appeared with a squeak (ATK: 500).
"I now discard my Destroyersaurus to get my Jurrasic World field spell!"
He discarded the card and added one from his deck to his hand and then he opened his field slot and then the who arena turned into a ancient forest with volcano's behind Maris.
"I move to my end phase so I can activate Volcanic Eruption!"
As the trap activated, the volcano erupted in the background and it shot fiery metreors into sky and struck the ground, blowing Zanji, Grandmaster, Irou, Babycerasaurus and the A. Forces card to little pieces and then the field slowly dissolved as well, returning to the arena and then he replied, "When that ltitle guy is destroyed by a card effect, I can special summon any level 4 or lower Dinosaur monster from my deck!"
Suddenly, Black Stego appeared and knelt (DEF: 2,000).
Carly drew a card and replied, "I'll set a monster and that'll end my turn now."
Maris drew a card and replied, "I now tribute my Stego to bring out my Super-Ancient Dinobeast!"
As the stegosaurus vanished, a large odd-looking dinosaur appeared with a roar (ATK: 2,700).
"Attack her facedown monster!"
The dino opened its mouth and launched a burst of pure energy and a Chamberlain of the Six Samurai appeared on the card (DEF: 2,000) before the energy burst atomized it.
"Your turn now."
Carly drew a card and replied, "I'll start with Pot of Avarice!"
She took her Grandmaster, both Zanji's, Irou and her Kamon and shuffled the cards into her deck and then she drew 2 new cards and then she replied, "One card facedown and 1 monster facedown and that'll end my turn now."
Maris drew a card and replied, "I summon my Tigerdon!"
As he sat the card down, a tiger-striped dino appeared (ATK: 1,300).
Christina sighed and replted, "The effect form of Trakadon."
"I now since I have another Dinosaur on the field other then my Tigerdon, I can special summon another from my deck!"
Suddenly, another the tiger-striped dinos appeared (ATK : 1,300).
"Since I special summoned a dino, my Dinobeast allows me to draw a card!"
He did so and then he replied, "I now overlay my 2 Tigerdons!"
Both turned into blue orbs and a portal opened up, which the orbs flew into.
"I use these monsters to build the Overlay Network and Xyz Summon! Appear now...Grenosaurus!"
As she sat the card down, a large fiery dinosaur appeared with a roar (ATK: 2,000).
He drew another card and then replied, "Lets do it. Dinobeast, attack!"
The dragon let out another burst of energy and it shot out towards the monster..
She quickly replied, "I activate Command Silencer!"
A large totem pole with speakers appeared and it made a loud noise and then the energy burst died down and then she drew a card.
"Grenosaurus, attack!"
The fiery dino let out a burst of fireballs and a 2nd Shien's Foot Soldier appeared on the card (DEF: 300) and the fireballs struck, blowing the small primate to tiny pieces and then a 2nd Yariza appeared and knelt (DEF: 500) and then he smiled and replied, "Since I destroyed one of your monsters now, I can remove one of its Xyz Material monsters to give you 1000 damage!"
As she discarded one of the Tigerdons, the dino launched more small fireballs and they struck Carly (Carly LP: 5900 - 4900).
"There you go. I end my turn now."
Carly drew a card and replied, "I summon my Hand of the Six Samurai!"
As he sat the card down, a hooded woman holding a dagger appeared (ATK: 1,600).
"I now play Double Summon to bring out my Shien's Squire!"
As she sat the card down, a small monkey-like guard with a spear for a weapon appeared (ATK: 300).
"I now play Silent Doom!"
Suddenly, Chamberlain appeared and knelt (DEF: 2,000).
"I now use the hand's ability to wipe out one of your monsters!"
As the robot-like warrior vanished, she went and jammed her dagger into the larger dino and it let out a roar of pain before it exploded in a blast of pure energy.
"Next, I equip my Yariza with with Synchro Boost!"
Suddenly, he began to glow (ATK: 1,000 - 1,500 - LV: 3 - 4).
"I now tune my Squire with my Yariza!"
The small tuner began to glow as it split into 1 white star, which turned into a couple of green rings and they went through Yariza, which turned into 4 white stars.
"I Synchro Summon...Legendary Six Samurai - Shi En!"
As she sat the card down, the mighthy shogun Synchro appeared (ATK: 2,500).
Christina then replied, "Awesome monster!"
Kelly nodded and replied, "It has quite a powerful effect as well."
Sebastian nodded and replied, "She's doing just fine."
"Lets do it. Shi En, attack!"
The warrior went and with one single swipe of his mighty sword, decapitated the fiery dinosaur. The remains dissolved into pixels.
"Hand, attack the jerk directly!"
She took another dagger and she went and jammed it into the gangsters stomach (Maris LP: 3900 - 1800).
"A little bit more and your done! I end my turn now."
Maris drew a card and replied, "I play Dark Hole!"
As the spell card appeared, Shi En swung his blade and a blade of energy shot and sliced the spell card in two.
"Knew that would happen. I now play Ultimate Evolution! I banish 1 machine and 1 dinosaur to summon my best card!"
As he banished his Dyna Base and Grenosaurus, a huge dinosaur of light appeared (ATK: 3,300).
"Meet my Super Conductor Tyranno!"
Christina then replied, "Whoa."
"I now summon my Giant Rex!"
As he sat the card down, another large dinosaur appeared (ATK: 2,000).
"Lets do it. Tyranno, attack!"
The huge dino began to glow and then it opened its mouth and a launched a blast of electricity and shot out and struck Shi En and he let out a groan before exploding into triangles
"Rex, attack!"
The smalelr dino charged and let out a huge roar, blowing the female warrior to shards (Carly LP: 4900 - 3800).
"Take that! I end my turn now."
Carly drew a card and replied, "I'll set a monster and 2 cards facedown and that'll end my turn now."
Maris drew a card and replied, "I'll set a monster facedown and I'll atack with my Rex!"
The dinosaur let out another huge roar and a Yaichi appeared on the card (DEF: 1,800) and exploded into shards as the attack struck him.
"Attack her directly!"
The huge dino let out a mighty roar and he launched a huge burst of electricity and it shot out and struck her (Carly LP: 3800 - 500) and then she groaned and repllied, "I activate Shock Draw!"
She drew 3 cards and then Maris laughed and replied, "You are finished next turn! I end my turn now."
Ginny then replied, "Not good at all."
Sebastian sighed and replied, "I"m getting worried too, gang."
Carly drew a card and replied, "I now activate Double-Edged Sword Technique!"
Suddenly, Yaichi (ATK: 1,300) and Yariza (ATK: 1,000) reappeared.
"I now play Monster Reborn!"
Suddenly, Shien's Squire reappeared (ATK: 300).
"I now summon a Winged Kuriboh!"
As she sat the card down, the cute winged kuriboh appeared with a coo (ATK: 300).
"I now tune all 4 of my monsters together!"
Shien's Squire let out a screech as it split into 1 star, which turned into a couple of green rings and they went through Yariza, Yaichi and Winged Kuriboh, which turned into a total of 7 white stars. As this was happening, Carly closed her eyes, raised her hands in the air and began to chant.
"A true champion from the futures goes back through time to make sure everything is good and well with the world! this mighty warrior will defend the weak against the true forces of evil! Synchro Summon! Appear now...Future Fighter!"
As she sat the card down, a huge burst of light blinded everyone and as it died down, everyone (except Sebastian) was shocked to see another Carly on the field and she was now covered into gold & silver armor and a glowing sword made of diamonds was in her left hand (ATK: 2,600).
Ginny then replied, "Wow."
Christina then replied, "Holy...crap."
Kelly then replied, "That has the be the key card of this group."
"You'd be right about that one, Kelly! For each non-tuner monster I used to Synchro Summon my warrior copy, she gains 1 future counter and 200 attack points for each one!"
Suddenly, 3 glowing orbs appeared and they flew into the sword (ATK: 2,600 - 3,200).
Maris laughed and replied, "My Conductor will wipe her off the map!"
Carly smiled and replied, "Won't happen, I'm afraid. I now use her ability. Depending if she has 1, 2 or 3 or more Future Counters, she can use a special ability and I choose to remove 3 of them to allow me to draw a card and then one of your cards gets banished!"
As she drew a card and the 3 counters came out of the sword and vanished (ATK: 3,200 - 2,600) Super Conductor Tyranno vanished from sight and then Future Fighter began to glow.
"She also gains attack equal to half of the banished monster!"
Suddenly, she and her sword began to glow (ATK: 2,600 - 4,250).
Maris then replied, "Damn it!"
Christina smiled and replied, "Yea!"
Lucas nodded and replied, "That'll be all for him!"
"Lets do it. Fighter, attack her Giant Rex with Future Diamond Slash!"
She swung his sword and a wave of energy shot out and sliced into the large dino and it roared before it collapsed into a pile of broken bones (Maris LP: 1800 - 0).
Christina smiled and replied, "Yea, baby!"
Kelly then replied, "She's a awesome duelist!"
Carly stared at Maris and replied, "Time for us to have a small talk."

Carly wins the duel and saves the portal system. In the next chapter, they make Maris answer more questions about his groups intentions and then after that, Lucas's brother and his friend go the find the gang member that allowed Maris into Ginny's apartment and Fenton challenges him to a duel.
