okay, here's the next chapter.

"I'm gonna love you through it" by Martina McBride is the song.

The laughter and merry feelings subsided quickly.

Jack stood there for a moment and then started ripping off the suit he was wearing to reveal his normal clothes underneath. He didn't want Cupid himself to think that he was getting married. That was just plain asking for trouble.

Elsa looked at him, confused for a second, until following his example.

The cherubs around them were disappointed. Their plan hadn't worked at all.

Once Jack and Elsa looked like them selves once more, Jack turned to Missil. "Okay then. Show us the way."

Missil nodded and spoke to the guards in a weird language. A cherub language? For some reason Jack had expected French-the whole City of Love thing.

Missil looked at them and gestured for them to follow. "He's this way."

And the he flew off. No not off, up. Jack's eyes followed the cherub until they reached the thing that he once thought was a chandelier.

It was a palace hanging from the ceiling. About 90 feet up in the air.

Jack felt his hope deflate. How the heck was he supposed to get up there?

Elsa used her magic and followed the disappearing cherub into the castle, leaving Jack alone on the ground.

He felt a tap on his shoulder and turned around. It was a little cherub with long blond hair tied back in a pink bandana. The little she-fairy was also bare foot and wearing over all. Her bright blue eyes stared up at him. "My name is Volly Meet. You know my sister, Trip, I think. I am the cherub of love being found in volunteer work and I can help you get up there."

Jack smiled, Volly was as helpful as Trip was clumsy. must be because of their vocation…

"Yes, please, I could really use some help." Why was it so hard to thank some people? Just because he hadn't had someone do a nice thing for him in the 10 years before Elsa came along didn't mean that he could lose manners. Did it?

Volly smiled and flew down to his hand and held it in both her tiny hands. She then proceeded to fly up and up and up until she was holding Jack off the ground.

Jack had no clue what to do but just dangle below her as they made their way unto the palace.

"Wow," he said in surprise, "you're really strong for someone so small."

"love is strong." Was the reply the he received.

Jack didn't make small talk after that.

Volly set him down on a little platform that seemed to be the entrance and exit of the place. Jack was dreading the thought of how he was going to get down.

He turned to a certain cherub first. "Thank you, Volly."

The fairy smiled and-quick as lightning-gave him a hug. Her arms weren't bug enough to even reach around him so she just hugged his chest. When she released him she smiled at his bewildered face. "Volunteer work is helping someone and it is in my nature to help others."

Volly stared sadly at the boy before her. "I know all you've been through and I know how broken you are. But, Jack, you're mending. And who do you think is responsible for that? Elsa, she's fixing you, don't push her out."

Jack looked down at his feet. "But what if I hurt her? I'm dangerous and I can't do anything about my powers, they could come back at any moment."

Volly smiled at him, "Yes, Jack, you are dangerous. To your enemies."

Jack looked up at the cherub in surprise only to see her flying back down. "You have a good heart, Jack Frost, show it!"

Volly was smiling as she went down, it was her job to help people and she knew someone need help when she saw Jack.

Jack could've stood there all day, just staring at the spot Volly had once been. She was the only one to ever say things like that. Well except for North when he first met him, before Jack started ruining everything…

"Jack!"

He flinched at his name-his mind was on the guardians and he felt like he was in trouble each time someone called him name. But is was only Elsa who was waiting at the end of a long hallway behind him. Two large, heart shaped doors blocked her from going any farther.

She gestured for him to come closer. "Come on!"

Jack went obediently over to her, 'don't push her out...'

When he stood next to Elsa before the doors he opened his mouth to ask a question but stopped short. He could hear something.

Jack leaned forward and pressed his ear against the doors, someone inside was singing but he couldn't make out the words.

Jack leaned forward more and Elsa slowly grabbed his arm and whispered to him, "Jack, I don't think that's a good idea—"

Jack leaned so far that he accidentally pushed the doors open and fell inside followed by Elsa who still had a grip of his hoodie sleeve.

They landed in an up dignified heap-Elsa on top of Jack.

When the ringing in his ears stopped Jack noticed Elsa had gotten off and was next to him in a worried state. "How's your head? I heard it crack against the floor…"

"That's what that was?" Jack said, trying to fight the pain, "I had hoped it was the music that decided to put in a giant triangle solo. "

Elsa rolled her eyes and helped him up.

Thats when they realized they weren't in there alone.

Right in the middle of the room was a heart shaped crystal and a young man sat in front of it. But he had a blind fold over his eyes so how was it possible for him to look at the crystal? Jack thought.

The man shifted and giant white wings appeared from his back, seeming to grow out of his toga. He shook his black hair out of his face like it was stopping him from seeing nothing.

Jack whispered into Elsa's ear, "Is he blind?"

"I have no clue, but listen to the music." She whispered back.

Right, Jack had forgotten while he had been focused on the possibility of a concussion and the creepy man with no eyes. But then he felt the music wash over him and he shivered as he felt magic in it. It wasn't just a song, it was a spell.

And it was the man at the table singing.

"She dropped the phone and burst into tears, the doctor just confirmed her fears. Her husband held it in and held her tight."

"Is this a love song?" Elsa asked, quietly.

"I don't know." Jack replied, trying to keep his voice down, "sounds more like a sickness song."

"cancer don't discriminate or care if you're just 38 with three kids who need you in their lives."

"See?" Jack said, "sickness song."

"He said, "I know that you're afraid and I am, too. But you'll never be alone, I promise you."

Jack felt sadness wash over him in tiny, bobbing waves. How much he had wished someone would say that to him...

"When you're weak, I be strong, when you let go, I'll hold on. When you need to cry I swear that I'll be there to dry your eyes. When you feel lost, scared to death, like you can't take one more step. Just take my hand together we can do it. I'm gonna love you through it."

"looks like it's a love song after all." Elsa spoke. When she got no reply she looked over at her wintery friend. "Jack?"

But he didn't respond, he was paying attention to the song that seemed to speak just to him.

"She made it through the surgery fine. They said they caught it just in time but they had to take more than they planned."

Elsa's breath got caught in her throat. She figured out what kind of cancer...

"Now it's forced smiles and baggy shirts to hide what the cancer took from her. But she just wants to feel like a woman again."

Jack had seen many couples and families suffer from cancer. He had always tried to help the children who got stuck in these situations but how can you help someone that can't see you?

"She said "I don't think I can do this anymore." He took her in his arms and said "that's what my love is for.""

Elsa lifted a hand to her mouth and stared at the man singing, that poor family…

"When you're weak, I'll be strong, when you let go I'll hold on. When you need to cry I swear that I'll be there to dry your eyes. When you feel lost, scared to death, like you can't take one more step. Just take my hand together we can do it. I'm gonna love you through it."

Elsa glanced over at Jack to she him super still and unblinking. Not knowing what was wrong, Elsa just reached out and held his hand.

The physical contact unfroze him and he looked into Elsa's worried eyes. He smiled comfortingly and gratefully and turned his gaze back to the blind man.

"When the road gets to long I'll be the rock you lean on. Just take my hand together we can do it. I'm gonna love you through it. "

Jack squeezed Elsa's hand and felt relief when she squeezed back.

"I'm gonna love you through it."

The man finished the song before turning to Jack and Elsa like he could actually see them.

"Hello, Jack Frost and Queen Elsa Winters of Arendelle." He said, "my name is Cupid and may I ask what you want with me?"

"Are you blind?" Jack blurted out.

Elsa elbowed him in the side but Cupid just laughed. "Yes, haven't you seen Midsummer Night's Dream by William Shakespeare? 'Love looks not with the eyes but with the mind therefore winged Cupid painted blind'? "

"um," Jack said, at a lost for words. What exactly do you say that? "I don't really read Shakespeare..."

"Tis a shame," Cupid spoke, folding his hands over his chest. "He was very good, didn't really understand love could be a happy thing though."

Elsa then jumped in "Please, we need your help."

"Yes, yes," Cupid gestured to two chairs that just appeared I the other side of the table. "Please sit it looks like we have a lot to talk about."

Jack and Elsa walked forward and sat down.

"Tall me everything." Cupid said.

"Okay," Elsa took a deep breath, "it started like this…"

It took 2 hours to tell the whole story but when it was finally over Cupid sat there and nodded his blindfolded head.

"Well," Cupid announced, "I'll say you're in a pickle."

Jack let out a little laugh and Elsa rolled her eyes.

"You," Jack said. He had asked Elsa before they even started to leave out anything mentally or emotional thing that had to do with him, like all that happened it the woods and when Elsa was nursing him back to health. He wasn't really ashamed of that because he didn't care what Cupid thought of him, it was just personal and he didn't want everyone to know his business. "Don't know the half of it."

Yay, the suspense! And I used a Percy Jackson Quotient her and if you are a die hard demigod like me you'll see it!
