Chapter 25-Graduating to Hueco mundo
"why are you in my office?" Ichigo asked Hikaru, who was laying on his sofa reading
"there's a bunch of alarms going off in the 5th and it is annoying" he said turning a page
"well then it must be important you should check what they're for" Ichigo slammed his hands on his desk
"no they're only there to punish Shuhei"
"what for?" Ichigo wondered
"when he drinks while on duty I make him drink all the alcohol I have then have alarms go off for the whole day" Hikaru laughed at his own genius, "so I heard from Masaki that her and Kenshin are graduating from the academy next week and they passed the exam to join the Gotei 13"
"yes I know I'm just worried about them joining your squad" Ichigo said
"I would never do anything to your children in fact I think of them as the children I never had" Hikaru got up and draped his arm over Ichigo
"you can still have children" Ichigo told him
"not till I win"
"wait aren't you getting married?" Ichigo asked
"look who had his ear to the ground" Hikaru stood up straight
"well that means I'm closer to winning the bet"
"how do you figure?" Hikaru asked
"well you'll have a honeymoon and you know what happens on a honeymoon" Ichigo explained
"in any case I'm still worried about Kenshin and Masaki joining the Gotei 13" Hikaru started to pace around the room
"why?" Ichigo asked leaning back in his chair
"I still believe that someone wants them as a weapon and them joining the Gotei will be the trigger or I am just paranoid" Hikaru said
"I can't get those words out of my head, who is Aizen's queen could she be behind this" Hikaru thought
1 week later
Hikaru stood in front of a crowd of young soul reapers that were graduating from the academy, he was the one Yammamoto choose to talk to them
"I am Hikaru captain of squad 5 most of you will be joining the Gotei 13 but the rest of you will be working in Hueco mundo or guarding a noble but for those joining my squad I'm here to tell you that you will be worked harder than you've ever worked before, I will break you then remake you in to the greatest soul reaper you can be and if you can't take it you do not belong in the Gotei 13 as I will be kinder than most of the captains, in any case now you are soul reapers and you must protect the peace we have obtained even after the chaos of Aizen" he concluded his speech as all the graduates clapped
Hikaru was walking off when a garganta opened up on the stage, he plulled out his zanpakuto along with all the graduates, "get the other captains" he ordered one of the graduates that was standing at the front, they shunpo'ed off, "keep your guard up"
Hikaru backed away from it as figures walked out of it, when they finally stepped out you could see ten hooded people of various heights and builds
"who are you?" Hikaru demanded
"we have not come for you we only want two of you" one of them said
"what is going on here" the head captain along with the other captains appeared beside Hikaru
"this garganta just opened up" Hikaru explained
"what are we going to do, dad?" Kenshin asked appearing next to Ichigo with Masaki
"that's them let's grab them now" two of them shunpo'ed behind Kenshin and Masaki and grabbed them
"that didn't look like shunpo" Hikaru thought as he shot the one holding Masaki with a byakurai
Ichigo slashed at the one holding Kenshin but he let go and jumped back, "who are you and what do you want with these two?" Ichigo asked
"she just told us to grab these two we don't care why but she says it will help us to destroy the soul society" another one of them said
"Aizen's queen" Hikaru thought
"who are you?" Hikaru asked
"it doesn't matter, NOW" another two grabbed Kenshin and Masaki but this time they pulled out syringes, Kenshin forced himself free but they knocked out Masaki and took her to the garganta
"LET GO OF HER NOW!" Ichigo fired a getsuga at them but one of them stepped forward and stopped it with their bare hand
"you've gotten stronger" he said turning and walking in to the garganta with the rest of them
"GET BACK HERE" Ichigo ran at the garganta but it closed before he got there, "DAM IT"
"so I was right" Hikaru mumbled to himself
"what are you talking about?" Ichigo asked
"they were being cultivated as a weapon and now someone is reaping what they sowed"
"whoever is doing this will be sorry they ever touched my sister, I'LL KILL THEM MYSELF" Kenshin shouted at the sky
"the question isn't who but why" Hikaru wondered
Las Noches
The kidnappers dragged Masaki in to the throne room, "get off me" Masaki struggled against her bindings, "what do you want with me?"
"I'm sorry but we weren't able to get Ichigo's son but we got his daughter" one of them said ignoring her
"I really wanted her brother but she will lure Ichigo and his son here and then we will begin"
Soul Society
Ichigo was packing food for his trip to Hueco mundo when Rukia came in, "I'm coming with you" she said
"no you could get hurt and I couldn't take that" Ichigo told her
"she is my daughter and I will not leave her in a place like that besides I save you the last time we were in hueco mundo so it's time for you to return the favour" she said
"great we can make it a road trip" Hikaru climbed in through their window and sat inside it
"so you're coming as well" Ichigo said
"yes Masaki was my top student and I consider her my own daughter" Hikaru wiped away an imaginary tear
"fine let's get going" Ichigo stood up
"great we can use my personal garganta, Kenshin has about an hour head start on us but we can catch up " Hikaru said about to jump out the window
"what do you mean Kenshin has a head start on us?" Rukia asked
"he broke in to my lab about an hour ago and used my personal garganta" Hikaru explained
"I guessed he would do something like this, we need to leave now" Ichigo said

the plot thickens who kidnapped masaki and what does she want with kenshin who knows i do
