Chapter 25: Heading Back to Wet Side Story

Hello! How is everyone? I decided to update since I have a couple of hours before my gymnastics competition. How's everyone been? I've had some pretty crazy weeks! Here's the next chapter!

Brady and Olivia, along with the two scientists have been trying to figure out how to travel back to Wet Side Story.

"I don't get how she got back. It isn't like Mack to walk near the water when there is a storm." Olivia fussed. But that didn't help Brady any at all.

"I know, but maybe we can go out to the beach today and wait for some big waves left over from the storm." Brady compromised running his fingers through his way too long hair. Olivia nodded in agreement.

"Yeah, maybe all we need to do is head down to the beach and just watch the water all day." Olivia began.

"That's what I just said, and once we see a big enough wave, we grab the gang and jump in." Brady finished excitedly. He quickly gets up and runs to the living room, where all the Wet Side Story characters are previously watching something on the TV.

"Someone's excited to get his girlfriend back." Olivia snickered as she and the scientists followed Brady into the living room.

"Come on everyone let's go to the beach!" Brady exclaimed dragging Lela and Giggles off the couch.

"He's really happy." Giggles stated helping SeaCat off the couch.

"Yeah what happened?" Butchy asked walking over to Olivia. His biker accent is starting to come back. Hopefully when he gets home, it will come fully back.

"Can't I just be happy?" Brady asks with a little bit of sass while he pulls the two biker girls off the couch.

"These past couple of days you've been anything but happy." Rascal states proudly as he helps Kiki off the couch. She's all healed, but Rascal takes extra care of her. He always said that Kiki has been like a sister to him.

"Oh well now I'm happy! Let's go!" Brady rushes out the door but nobody follows him. Everyone turns to Olivia for answers on Brady's sudden happiness. They're all happy that he's happy but they just want to know why.

Olivia groans.

"Okay so we found out where Mack is and it turns out she's back at your home." Everyone seems excited for two reasons. One they found Mack, two they get to go home.

"Well what are we waiting for? Let's hit up the beach!" Rascal exclaims leading the gang out the door. Olivia rolls her eyes before shutting the front door and catching up with Brady and her friends from 1962.

Tanner notices Brady standing at the edge of the ocean, just plain out staring.

"You wanna actually get into the water?" Brady jumps just now noticing the surfers appearance. "Or are you just going to stare at it all day?" Brady lets out a sarcastic laugh.

"Ha ha so funny." Brady turns back to the water. "No I'm actually just waiting for the perfect wave." Tanner nods. He understands what Brady is going through. Well he's never actually had Lela disappear on him while they have been in a relationship, but he understands his love for her. He knows that without Mack by his side, he feels like part of his life is missing. That a piece of his heart is gone. That may sound clingy but Mack and Brady never went a day without some sort of communication between the two of them. And since Mack is in 1962 with no way of communication, it's tearing him up inside. All Tanner feels is total sympathy.

He leaves Brady to himself before running after the others. Who in the time that Tanner was talking to Brady had managed to go get a football.

Tanner and Butchy were chosen to be team captains as always, but this time the girls had something to say about it.

"Why can't one of us be a team captain?" Giggles whined. SeaCat laughed.

"Because boys have always been the team captains." He sassed his girlfriend which probably wasn't the smartest move. But he's a laid back, typical 1962 surfer. He doesn't think before he speaks!

"Well too bad because we're going to be the team captains or else we're not playing." Lela chirped. The boys all scuffed in unison.

"Then don't play." Lugnut spoke, all the boys nodded in agreement. Struts crossed her arms over her chest with an undeniable smirk on her face.

"How are you going to play with only 5 people?"

"We have Brady." Rascal pointed out. Olivia laughed.

"And good luck prying him away from that water." The boys sighed in defeat. Giggles and Kiki cheered before deciding they are captains.

"Okay so I chose Lela, CheeChee, Lugnut, Rascal, and Butchy." Giggles announced proudly. SeaCat looked taken back.

"What about me?"

"That's what you get for sassing me!" Giggles well giggled before turning to her team. Kiki sighs.

"Well I guess I get Tanner, Struts, SeaCat, and Olivia. But wait you guys have more people."

Lela put on her thinking face before letting out an exaggerated oh.

"Put Brady on your team!" Kiki glances back at Brady and then at Olivia. Basically giving him the look of get your butt over there and talk to him.

Olivia groans before making her way over to the blonde.

"Hey." She greets quietly, trying her best not to scare him. Brady looks over at her.

"Hey." Olivia sighs.

"Is this really all you're going to do? Is stare at the water?" Brady nods. He doesn't want to miss the perfect wave. He knows it's a little weird staring at the water all afternoon, and his feet are killing him but he doesn't care. His mind is on Mack and Mack only. He just wants to get to the movie to make sure she's there, and that something bad didn't happen to her. He just wants to hold her.

Brady snapped out of his thoughts when he sees a huge wave on the horizon, forming and by the looks of it coming fast. He cuts Olivia off mid sentence to the words he wasn't even listening to.

"Go get the others." He demands.

"Why?" Olivia asks startled by his turn in tone of his voice.

"They probably don't want to miss their chance of going home." Brady smirks before taking off and into the water.

"Thanks for the help!" Olivia calls after him, but he ignores her. Olivia got Lugnut and Butchy to carry the two water resistant girls after Brady. "This better not be another false alarm."

This is true. Brady has dragged them in the water 3 times now, saying that he has found the perfect wave. But Brady was certain on this one.

Just as he was about to open his mouth to protest, the wave Brady has been waiting for crashed over the teens heads. Sending them into a world of darkness.

Hope you liked it! Okay can I just say that I'm super duper excited for TBM2! I can't contain my excitement! I'm sorry about the late update but I didn't really have an idea for my story, I really was going to end it soon but I came up with a plot that will create more drama. Here's a hint, let's just say getting Mack back won't be as easy as they thought! (: That's got you thinking huh? That is my plan! Thank you so much to my reviewers and readers!
