A/N: okay so here I am again apologising for me being really bad at keeping promises… I really was planning to update soon but things came in between, school and hospital visits and whatever but here I am again so don't worry :p so this is part two of chapter twenty-four but the next chapter will be normal again, so no splitting. I do have a one week holiday at the moment so I had planned to update a lot but it isn't going to work out since I have a lot of stuff to study…. Help :s maybe next time it's better if I first just write the story and then just publish it, I'll keep that in mind for next time. Oh and for the people who forgot or are just too lazy to read back (don't worry I would be too) we're at Rachel's house now, for the movie night. Anyway hopefully you'll enjoy. X
Chapter twenty-four. (part two)
'hey you' she says smiling as she pulls him in a hug.
'hey' he says as he hugs her back.
'how have you been?' you asks softly. She had wanted to come up with something better than just that but she really couldn't think of anything, what is appropriate to ask someone who just heard that they're cured. Because you'd expect them to be great right? That would be a logical reaction, but honestly in Rachel's eyes Blaine looked far from great. There were just these little things, they were just off. The way how one button of his shirt wasn't just entirely pulled through the hole, the way his shoe laces were tied and the way his bow tie was just crooked. It just looked weird.
And that's why Rachel rose an eyebrow when Blaine answered her with 'great' because that was exactly what she had been expecting but she knows he's lying. She wants to ask him what's wrong but on the other hand she thinks that it's probably better if she just leaves it for now. So she does 'I'm glad to hear that'
'shall we uhm go inside?' he asks when there's a gust of wind. It's feels like it's cutting through his clothes and it makes a shiver go down his spine.
'sure' she says and closes the door behind him.
'so what movie did you pick?' he asks curiously as he glances over at the television.
'hey no peeking mister' she says and drags him to the kitchen. 'some help would gladly be accepted' Rachel says as he snaps her fingers in front of Blaine's face who's just looking at nothing in particularly.
'right, sorry' he says as Rachel hands him a bowl with popcorn while she carries two glasses and a bowl with M&M's. Blaine wonders how she manages to do it but he keeps quiet and just takes a seat on the couch in front of the television.
Rachel smiles as she sits down as well putting the bowls in between them. 'okay you're getting three guesses as for what we're going to watch, if you're right you can pick the movie next time but if you're wring then I will and no I won't be thinking of the things you like' she says smiling. 'so go ahead'
He grins as he already knows what movie they're going to watch, he just knows it but it's way funnier to act like he has no clue which will mean Rachel thinks she's winning. 'okay uhm' he says making a thinking face 'are we watching the notebook?' she smiles and shakes her head 'okay well maybe…Harry Potter' she grins and shakes her head again 'okay well how about..' she smirks already thinking she has won. 'grease' he says smiling.
'dammit how did you know?'
'well a better question would have been, why didn't you know? In case I guessed wrong. Not that that would be the case' he smiles. 'so who is picking the next time?' he asks triumphantly.
'you' she mumbles reluctantly.
'sorry I can't hear you' he says teasingly just wanting her to repeat it.
'you' she says a little louder this time.
'I thought so' he says smiling and then presses play.
Blaine smiles when he notices that halfway through the movie Rachel has fallen asleep. He looks at her considering if he should draw a moustache on her face just like she and Wes did on him but just when he wants to stand up to find a pen she starts talking. Blaine looks at her but her eyes are still closed which means she's talking in her sleep. Blaine scoops a little closer to her so he can hear what she says. 'I'm worried about him..' 'no I', not going to ask him about..that' Blaine looks confused but doesn't stop listening. 'well then you ask' there's silence for a moment until Rachel opens her eyes. 'Blaine?' she mumbles as she looks at him.
'you fell asleep' he says as he strokes a loose strand of hair out of her face.
'oh' she says and sits up. 'I'm sorry'
'don't worry about it Rach, I get that I'm, boring' he says smiling.
'you know that's not the reason, you're just trying to make me feel guilty' she says and nudges him.
'what me? I'd never do that' he says laying a hand on his chest above his heart.
'of course not' she says and lays her feet in his lap.
'oh no I don't think so' he says as he quickly lifts her feet from his lap. 'you know what? I'll just clean this up and then I'll go home so you can go to bed'
'oh no you don't have to do that'
He shrugs 'it's fine'
'no it's not'
'it is, really' he says as he takes the empty bowls and glasses to the kitchen to out them in the dishwasher. 'see it's already done'
'how will you get home?'
'I texted dad when you were asleep'
How'd you know that..'
'Rachel' he interrupts 'it's not like I jut met you today okay'
'right' she says smiling as she stands up from the couch.
'oh there he is' Blaine says as he sees some lights outside.
'when will I see you again?' Rachel asks as she walks him to the door.
'I'll text you' he says before kissing her cheek. 'bye Rach'
'bye Blainey'
A/N: okay so I am not really happy with this because it's just short and boring yeah yeah I know, but I really couldn't come up with something better and I needed to finish this eventually so… bye x
