Chapter 25: The Transformation
Blaze gasped at this and lowered her in sadness. She really wanted Cream and Vanilla to come live here. Cream had been the closest person to a best friend she had and with Amy gone she HAD to be there for her. Vanilla was like the only person she knew who could help her through her pain and talk to her about it without making her angry. She like the Mother she never had.
"Why not?" Zonic asked.
The Zeti looked at each other and back to Zonic. Then Zeena came forwards and told them.
"We made an exception for Blaze, but not for your other friends."Zeena folded her arms across her chest. "Lost Hex is not a refuge for safety, it is our home and we will not be comfortable with more strangers on our planet."
Zonic sighed, knowing that that ended the discussion. Though he felt a sudden heat beside him and he froze. He knew why. Blaze was angry and was overheating with flames. That's what happened when she got mad.
"Then we can easily introduce you then," she said, trying to keep herself calm, but her voice showed anger in it. Her body hear was rising and flames were beginning to surround her.
Zavok growled. "Be careful what you say," he said. "Those flames of yours will not hurt us much, and we are far more powerful than you. You should be grateful for letting us allow you to live here. Your friends, however, cannot. That is our final decision."
Blaze's flames disappeared and she looked at Zonic, then back at the other Zeti. She thought about what they said, then sighed and nodded.
"Fine," she said, through a growl. Zonic now saw what had happened. Not allowing their others friends to live here had made Blaze revert to her old roots... before she met him. When she was always angry and didn't want to be around others.
"Hey," he said, hugging her. "It will be okay. I'm here."
Blaze smiled and nodded. Zavok cleared his throat. "Now that you are living here, we have an offer for you, Blaze: would you like to become a Zeti?"
The cat thought about it. She looked around at Zonic, and then the other Zeti. She nodded. "I guess I have no choice if I'm going to be living here," she said, looking down, while sighing. Her ears pinned back. She made a note in her head to visit her dimension every so often to help her kingdom and see Cream.
Zavok nodded. He shot a beam of light towards Blaze. It hit her and she screamed in pain, then began to transform. Blaze groaned in pain as she felt her body grow bigger. Blaze's toes merged into two digits as her grew into long claws, causing her gloves and shoes to tear apart. Her legs turned black as Blaze's tail lengthened into a serpentine one. The hair on her head grew longer and spread to her shoulders. Blaze's face pushed out to show a row of long fangs. Her upper head turned deep purple as horns grew out the top of her head where they reformed into long thick viscous curved pink horns. Finally, the transformation finished.
Blaze was a little dazed from the transformation. She stumbled a bit and nearly fell over, but Zonic caught her. "Are you okay?" He asked, smiling. "You look beautiful."
She looked at him and nodded, grabbing her head, still a little dazed. "Yeah, I'm okay. That just...made me bit dizzy."
Zonic nodded and kissed her. "I love you," he said.
Blaze nodded and said the same thing. A few minutes later, Silver materialized out of thin air. Blaze was in shock at this. She was wondering how he could disappear and then reappear again. Whatever the reason, she didn't care...one if her friends was back. "Silver...what happened to you...back at the Sol Dimension?"
"I...I don't know," he said. he groaned; something about him was changing but he didn't know what.
Blaze was concerned for friend. She wanted to help him. "Silver, is something wrong?" The hedgehog shrugged and he fell to the ground in pain as he changed into something else. Blaze tried to walk over to him to help him, but Zonic stopped her. She looked at him with anger in her expression. "Zonic, let me go! He's my friend! I can't bear to see him in pain! I have to help him!"
Her eyes widened as light blue claws grew on his fingers and feet and his feet merged into two. His shoes and gloves ripped and tore a part, not being able to hold the claws inside. Some black skin grew along his body from his feet to his waist. His face began to morph also as his eyes broke away from each other and his nose disappeared from his face. His mouth was opened to reveal the lengthening of sharp fangs. His quills changed into quill-like hair, separate from his head. Two horns grew out of his head that were coloured light blue and black. Once the transformation was done, Silver fell on his knees and stared at the ground, confused at what happened.
"Blaze...Zonic...what happened to me?" He asked as he stood up.
Zavok frowned and stepped forward. "It's just as I thought."
Blaze looked at Zavok as she frowned, "What are you talking about?"
"Silver...is yours and Zonic's son."
