"Why are we still waiting? We need to go find, Hel," Kailani exclaimed as she paced the hotel room floor.

"We agreed to wait an hour," Aurelia replied checking the clock. "There's still five minutes left of the hour."

"Screw waiting an hour!" Lani cried. "She could be in trouble. We need to find her now!" She rushed across the room, about to head out and search for her friend, only to fling the door open and find Haleigha at the doorway. "Hel!"

"Hey," Hel greeted her casually while walking past her into the room.

"Told you she'd be fine," Aurelia commented.

Kailani didn't want to hear it. "Where have you been?!" Kailani demanded.

"Whoa! Chill out," Hel replied before turning to look at Aurelia. "Has she been like this for the whole past hour?"

"Pretty much," Aurelia confirmed.

"Will you two knock it off?!" Lani screeched.

"We're not even fighting!" Aurelia shot back.

"Yeah. Seriously, Lani, cool it," Hel added.

"It should be easy for you, being a waterbender and all," Aurelia teased and Hel snickered.

"You two need to stop joking around," Lani replied seriously. "This whole mission has just blown up. You're aware we're looking at human trafficking now? And it seems like it's some kind of sex trade."

Aurelia immediately grew sober. "We know, Lani," she soothed. "We're sorry."

"It's okay," Lani said. "But what are we supposed to do now?"

"Well we should start by finding out how they get the girls in the tunnels and where they hold them."

"I can answer that," Hel stated. "There's an entrance leading to the tunnel. It's right on the edge of town. That's where I escaped."

"But where do they keep them in the tunnel?" Lani asked.

"Must be in that room we found," Hel said. "There weren't any other rooms."

"So what do we do with this knowledge?" Lani questioned.

"No clue," Hel replied. "But I'm sure Aurelia has a plan."

"Seriously?" Aurelia whined. "Why do I always have to come up with the plan?"

"Because…'you're the man with the plan," Hel responded.

"Then where's my shield?" Aurelia grumbled and sighed "Okay, I have a vague plan."

"Still better than no plan," Lani pointed out. "What were you thinking?"

"We wait and see who we're dealing with," Aurelia said. "We'll see how many girls they have and then go after them in the tunnel and attack their handlers before freeing them."

"Shouldn't we attack before they enter the tunnels?" Lani questioned.

"We don't know how many we're dealing with," Aurelia disagreed. "Let's play this cautiously."

"Those are words I never thought I'd hear you say," Hel remarked.

"I'm just full of surprises," Aurelia replied unamused.

"Do you think we should ask Levy and Gajeel to get involved?" Lani pondered. "They have more experience than we do."

"If you never let us do a mission on our own we won't ever have any experience," Aurelia sighed in exasperation.

"Come on, Lani. Have some faith," Hel said.

"I'm sorry. I'm not trying to burst anyone's bubbles here. I just…you know I don't like new situations," Lani cried. Hel and Aurelia shared a look.

"Everything about our lives right now is a new situation," Aurelia said.

"I'm aware," Lani replied guardedly.

"Do you want to talk about it?" Hel asked.

"No. I…let's just get some sleep," Lani sighed.

"Okay," Aurelia agreed. The girls went about getting settled in for the remainder of the night.

"How long do we have to wait?" Hel complained. They had been hiding out in the woods near the tunnels entrance for three hours now. The night air in early May was chilly and they were all stiff from staying still. All three were getting frustrated.

"As long as it takes for them to deliver the victims in," Aurelia snapped back. "Quit complaining. We don't exactly know their schedule."

"This was a stupid plan," Hel grumbled.

"Then next time, you come up with the plan!" Aurelia spat.

"I will," Hel returned hotly. "And you can bet my plan will allow us to bring food."

"Quiet you two,' Kailani ordered. "We're trying to ambush the bad guys. That won't work if they hear you two bickering."

"She started…"

"Shut up," Lani whispered harshly pointing to a spot in the distance. The other two turned their heads and saw a wagon approaching along a thin, dirt road that trailed through the forest. Hel and Aurelia piped down and watched as the wagon came closer and closer until it reached the entrance to the tunnel. Four men jumped out of the front of the wagon and made their way to the canvased back. All three girls felt nothing but disgust for the men as they filtered what seemed to be about fifty woman out of the wagon and into the tunnel. The women were all clearly drugged. They were all stumbling and looking around, confused. A few were crying. It took everything in the girls not to jump out and attack the men. Finally, the men disappeared into the tunnels with the last of the girls.

"Let's go," Hel said.

"Wait! Not yet," Aurelia replied.

"Did you not see them herding all those women?!" Hel hissed. "We need to go save them. Now!"

"We have to give them time to get them to the room. If a fight breaks out with all those women in the tunnels they could get caught in the crossfires," Aurelia argued back.

"No one's going to get caught in the crossfire," Hel snapped getting up. "I'm going in." She stalked off towards the tunnel entrance.

"Hel, stop you'll ruin the plan!" Aurelia hissed chasing after her,

"What are you two doing?" Lani cried dismayed.

"I'm not going to sit around while people's lives are in danger," Hel stated.

"You're putting their lives in danger," Aurelia accused.

"No, but you are with you plan to wait is putting their lives in danger," Hel shot back.

"Guys," Lani cut in. "Now is not the time for…"

"No, now is not the time for this," a deep voice said from behind them. The girls all whirled around and saw a big, burly man stepping out of the wagon.

"Who are you?" Hel growled.

The man smirked. "That's none of your concern, nor is my operation," he replied smugly. "But I'm a reasonable guy. I'll give you one chance to walk away, but I need some insurance." The man grabbed onto Lani who was closest to him.

"Lani!" Hel and Aurelia cried and started to charge the man. He held up a hand and they paused in their attack.

"Walk away, let the shipment go out and you get your friend back unharmed," the man told them. "Interfere in any way, and she suffers a fate worse than death." And then without warning, the man disappeared in thin air, taking Lani with him. Hel and Aurelia glanced at each other before immediately tearing off into the tunnels, running as fast as they could do the doored room. They burst through the door and found themselves faced with an empty room.

"What the hell?" Aurelia gasped.
