Dragon Ball NA
Last time on NA: Our heroes finally come face to face with the Saiyan responsible for Jeena's sadness. Kanashimi finally had her revenge against her loss with Corrynthia some time back. Later, Rugai tried to convince Lyc to change his ways, only to fall on deaf's ear. Lyc half transformed into a Super Saiyan, then killed his own sister. Now, with the suprise visit from his father and friend, a new friend comes to his aid. What is the former king of the Saiyans message to Rugai? Find out on Dragon Ball NA.
"So, the son of my friend really did achieve Super Saiyan level. You honor our race proudly, Rugai." Rugai started to tear up, still in shock about losing Jeena.
"I... I let your daughter die. It's my fault for not stopping your son's intention." Dugai and Tenchi each put a hand on Rugai's shoulder, while Harugo knelt in frontof him.
"Its my fault, young one. My sin was not making sure my son had the same good natured spirit as you. Please, show my son, the true nature of the Saiyans." Rugai looked at both Tenchu and his father, both of them nodded and smiled. Rugai wiped his tears from his face. Time resumed for Rugai, he got up and turned around, then gave Lyc an argy look.
"Get everyone out of here. NOW!" Rugai put his Super Saiyan aura and powered up. "GO NOW!" Ferno didn't say a word, and floated towards Argonia. Tenchu and Deena still held on to Kanashimi, also made their way to Argonia. The Saiyans was hesitant at first, but seeing Rugai's fierceness changed their minds.
"Make him suffer... Rugai." Vivek then gave Lyc a look of remorse, before following the others. Lyc got extremely mad.
"You'll regret LEAVING ME YOU WORTHLESS WORMS! DIE!" Lyc fired a large energy ball at the fleeing fighters, Rugai quickly deflected it back to him. The ball of energy barely missed Lyc and leveled the buildings behind him. Lyc continued to get angrier, the device on his arm vibrated slowly. Lyc rushed at Rugai and blindly threw punches at him, Rugai dodged most of them. "I AM THE CROWNED HEIR TO THE MOST POWERFUL RACE IN EXISTANCE! WHY WOULD A WORTHLESS WORM PREVENT ME FROM REBUILDING THE SAIYANS!?" Rugai floated there, still keeping a fierce look at Lyc.
"You seek to ruin the Saiyan name, for what... your selfish need to be the center of attention? Or are you too scared to obtain real power through protecting the innocent?" Lyc's attitude went full tantrum mode.
"SELFISH!? SCARED!? YOU HAVE NO RIGHT TO SPEAK TO ME ABOUT REAL POWER! YOU, WHO REFUSES TO FIGHT IN BATTLES TO MAKE US STRONG. YOU, WHO SPENT YOUR LIFE ON PLANET VEGETA, STROLLING IN MY CASTLE LIKE YOU OWN THE PLACE! I hated you... I WANT YOU TO DIE, SO I CAN USHER FORTH THE TRUE MIGHT OF THE SAIYANS! A RACE WHO TAKES WHAT THEY WANT, WHEN THEY WANT! Lyc's anger increased, the device on his arm shattered. Lyc's hair went wild. (Hair style resembled a combination shadow and sonic the headgehogs) Then truly went the normal golden yellow, and eyes went the same jade-emerald color. Lyc's anger, truly transformed him into the Super Saiyan like Rugai and Kanashimi has in the past. "NOW FEEL MY SUPER SAIYAN POWER, YOU WORTHLESS WORM!" Lyc teleported in front of Rugai, and punched him hard. Rugai was sent flying a ways, nearly hitting a spire. Rugai dragon dashed back to Lyc, senting him flying towards the country side again. Rugai noticed his friends was safetly back on Argonia, then chased after Lyc again.
Back on Argonia...
Bull, Darryn and the rest who stayed behind, finally repaired the ship. "Looks better than before." Evelyn was exhausted, along with Greanne, Lizza and Bull from repairing the ship. Darryn was busy upgrading his mechanical parts with materials not found on Earth. "Does it hurt when you do that to yourself, Mr. Robot?" Lizza was looking with wonders and concerned.
"Negative, youngest one. As a robot, as you called it, I do not have pain receptors to feel this 'pain'. Almost all lifeforms have these nerves, all around the body that can register all levels of pysical pain. However, as stated before, I do not have them and can either repair or upgrade myself without feeling anything." Lizza was confused at Darryn's explination, but just kept on watching him.
Couple hours passed, everyone there got cleaned up and had a picnic lunch near their ship. The silence was broken when Tenchu's team returned with Kanashimi in his and Deena's arms, and Ferno carrying the lifeless body of Jeena. "We need to get these two the infirmary... NOW!" Darryn quickly lowered the cargo hold ramp, and rushed in with everyone behind him. Bull stopped the Saiyans that followed them from further entrance. Tenchu returned and told him that they're on Rugai's side. Darryn and Deena made reviving Jeena their top priority, Darryn kept the blood from seeping into the wound, while Deena fixed her up. After repairing all her vitals, Darryn placed a hand over her heart, and sent an electrical charge to jumpstart her back to life. With each unsucsessful attempts, he increased the charges, in hopes that it'll work. Unfortunately, Jeena had passed away long before she got to the ship. Deena fell to the floor, and started to cry, the Saiyans got depressed, Tenchu and Ferno closed their eyes and said silent prayers. Bull, on the other hand, went to his lab and grabbed his artificial energy gear and was storming off the ship.
Vivek and Ivan were waiting for Bull at the end of the ramp. "We can't let you interfere with this fight." Ivan held out a hand, while Vivek had his arms crossed.
"Like I care. Move." Bull kept forcing his way off, but kept getting stopped by them.
"This fight, determins the future of the remaining Saiyan race. One thing that Lyc was right about, Saiyans do have honor when it comes to fighting." Vivek then placed a hand on Bull's shoulder. "Let them battle it out, ok?" Bull continued to get frustrated, and stormed back towards the lab. Vivek and Ivan then turned around and looked at Pargonia. The other two Saiyans stood at the top of the ramp, on either side of the walls.
Back on Pargonia...
Lyc was thrown towards the ground, making a large crater. Seconds later, Lyc powered up and busted himself out, and rushed at Rugai. Both fighters exchanged powerful blows at each other, Lyc aiming for Rugai's head, and Rugai aiming at Lyc's general body. Rugai landed a punch on Lyc's gut, and fired an energy blast that went right through him. Lyc's response, was a headbutt on Rugai's face. "Why!? Why is a weakling like yourself able to keep up with me, the crowned heir to the Saiyan race!?" Rugai breathed lightly.
"Why do you not see the truth? Lyc, I fought tougher battles than you can imagine. I follow the tradional ways of our people, defeat evil and protect the innocence. GIVE UP YOUR EVIL WAYS LYC!" Lyc got angrier, flew high into the air, then extended his arms out on his sides, then powered up. Rugai stood there watching him, Lyc's muscles grew gradually. Lyc's body pulsated as his muscles continued to grow, he smiled wide and laughed.
"LETS SEE IF YOU CAN DODGE THIS, YOU PATHETIC WORM!" Lyc put his hands near each other, his energy cracked like lightning between his hands. Rugai's sudden realization of Ly's attack put him in his Kamehameha ready position.
"YOU'RE PUTTING WAY TOO MUCH POWER IN THAT ATTACK LYC! STOP IT NOW!" Lyc's muscles went maximum mass, the energy between his hands pulsated rapidly. Rugai quickly gathered energy between his hands.
"FINAL..." Lyc's hands glowed brightly.
"LYC DON'T DO IT!" Rugai's hands glowed white with blue tint. "ka...me...ha...me..." Rugai said under his breath.
"...FLASH!" Lyc launched his attack at Rugai.
"...HAAAAAAAAAAAA!" Rugai launched his attack at the same time. Both attacks flew fast at each other, then colliding inbetween them. The force of the impact started to warp the planet, Vivek and Ivan with the other two Saiyans, watched as two warriors deciding the fate of the remaining Saiyan race.
"We need to get off this planet. Argonia won't last much longer." Ivan only nodded. All four Saiyans went in, and headed towards the cockpit of the ship, closed all outside openings and took everyone into orbit. When they got to a safe distance, nearly everyone rushed in. Before they could get angry at their Saiyan allies, they were shocked to see a collided ball of light.
Rugai's Kamehameha and Lyc's Final Flash attacks barely moved an inch. Lyc poured more energy into the force of his Final Flash attack. Lyc was pushing himself higher, into Argonia's airspace. Rugai added a bit of his own, forcing Lyc's attack back at him. Both the Kamehameha and the Final Flash attacks exploded near Lyc's body. After the smoke and dust cleared, Lyc was breathing heavily, and yelled at the top of his lungs. He then put up his Super Saiyan Aura, and flew back to Pargonia. Rugai stood on the surface, waiting for Lyc to return. The twin planets three day close proximity, sped up due to the Saiyans fight. Rugai took a deep breath, and flew towards Lyc at high speeds. Both collided aith such impact, the landscapes cracked and were being destroyed. Rugai and Lyc exchanged blows against each other. Each blow, caused the land and air aroumd them to shake violently. Both of them moved into high speed fighting, their blows against one another, created more destruction to the landscape and buildings. Rugai got a lucky kick in, and forced Lyc to crash into his ship, utterly destroying it.
The ground shook violently, pieces of Lyc's ship flew of in random directions, Lyc yelled at the top of his lungs powering up to his maximum. Rugai breathed heavily, blood was dripping from just above his left eye. He then put up his aura and powered up to his maximum.
Two Saiyan warriors, fighting for the future of their race, battle it out. One fueled by th loss of his best friend, the other, forcing his race to become ruthless. Can Rugai stop Lyc? Find out next time on Dragon Ball NA.
