You're one of the reviewers who reviews almost as soon as the chapter goes up a lot of the time which is fabulous for me, as I always have that hour to two hour period after putting a chapter up where I'm thinking 'are they gonna like it, are they gonna like it, GAH WHAT IF THEY HATE IT OMG HELP SHOULD I REWRITE IT OR AAAH' or something along those lines, so a huge thank you!

Thespian24601 - I've just realised that I never did answer your question on why it was more platonic friendship rather than real love - I think it was largely because this was the first romance fic I've ever written, so I was hesitant to get into the proper romance side of it at the start.
