"Well, look who finally decided to grace the world with his presence." Rebekah spoke as she saw Kol walk into the kitchen.

"Whatever little smart-alecky quips you got saved up just let it go for now. I am too tired and still a little sore at the moment." Kol replied taking sips of the coffee he poured himself and ignoring the smug look on Rebekah's face.

After Klaus and her returned home from their little reunion with Stefan they were both shockingly surprised by the sounds emanating from Kol's room.

"I swear I have never seen Klaus run out of here so fast. I have not heard from him since. A little word of advice, use that silencing spell on your room next time you and Jess are going to roll around in the sheets. I really did not take any pleasure in having to hear the moaning, the grunting, the squeaking of the bed, the…"

"Alright, Rebekah! I get it! Stop!" yelled Kol interrupting Rebekah's rant.

"As you wish." She smirked, but was not going to leave Kol alone, "So, what plans do you have for the day or are you content with laying around the house again?"

"Either you are nosy or bored, which is it?" asked Kol as he sat down across form his sister at the table.

"Both. I was surprised to see Jess up and out of the house this morning. She didn't say what she was up to." She informed Kol.

"Don't look at me, she is free to come and go as she pleases. So, what brought the Salvatore prat to New Orleans?" inquired Kol changing the subject.

"He left Mystic Falls after Elena chose Damon. As you are well aware Damon got the cure, but Stefan chose not to stick around," Rebekah shared and added, with hesitation, "Kol, Stefan knows you are alive. I told him about you getting resurrected and coming back, not only human, but a warlock as well."

"I'm not worried about him and neither should you."

"I'm not worried about Stefan I just…I want you to be safe. Don't do anything stupid or crazy." She expressed to him and got up to leave the kitchen.

Kol could hear the worrying in his sister's voice. She was concerned for his wellbeing ever since returning to New Orleans. As much as he appreciated Rebekah wanting to look out for him the truth was it was too little too late. Kol realized he needed to get Rebekah out of the picture. He needed her daggered and put away with Elijah. He just needed to come up with a plan to manipulate Klaus into doing the dirty deed which wouldn't be too hard. All Kol had to do was plant the seed of Rebekah possibly betraying Klaus and boom, back in a coffin she would rest.

He reached into his back pocket to retrieve his phone and typed, 'We need to talk' and sent it to Klaus.

It pained him a little have to betray his sister since she was the only one to apologize to him for not avenging his death, but he knew it would eventually come to this.

'We need to talk' Klaus read as he looked at the text Kol sent him. His mind went wild with a thousand different reasons as to why Kol would send him this text.

Honestly, Klaus had bigger things to worry about than worry about Kol at the moment. He was still trying to figure out what happened to Camille. Both Marcel and he could not understand how she appeared to have disappeared with no traces of where she could be. They talked to everyone about when the last time they saw, but none could remember or weren't specific enough in their details of their last encounter with the blonde bartender. All, except for one individual who claimed to be a classmate of Camille's and saw her on the night she mysteriously disappeared.

"We were both at the library studying." Explained the individual to Klaus and Marcel.

"You were studying together?" asked Klaus suspiciously.

"No. She was at a table all by herself."

"Do you remember when she left the library?" Marcel probed.

"The Howard-Tilton Library closes at 3:45 a.m. Camille left a little before that…I'd say around 1:30 or 2 o'clock maybe. If Camille is missing than why haven't the police or University administrators gotten involved?"

"As soon as we leave you will forget ever talking to us about Camille. Understand?" Marcel compelled the individual who nodded in response. The two vampires then walked away.

"From 1:30 a.m. to 2:00 a.m. is when Camille disappeared. She obviously did not leave on her own. So, the question is who would have taken her?" questioned Klaus.

Marcel sat silent for a moment before speaking up, "Klaus, I think we need to start looking into the notion that Camille may not be alive. I don't think we should looking at this as disappearance. I think we have murder on our hands. You know, I always had a feeling that Camille would end up a casualty. I just didn't really want to admit it. I hoped she would have made it out of here unscathed, but that was wishing for too much. Humans never survive long enough in this place."

Klaus reached out and put a hand on Marcel's should as a way to show affection and sympathy to his young prodigy.

"We will find this person and make them pay for whatever they may have done to Camille. I promise you that."

When Jess snuck out of Kol's room that morning she almost made it out of the house, but was caught by Rebekah as she made her way down the stairs.

"Walk of shame." Said Rebekah in a teasing manner.

"What are you doing up so early?"

"Early? It's almost noon. Where are you off to?"

"Gosh, you are a nosy one. If you must know I am heading out into the world. Is that specific enough?"

"I am flabbergasted that mouth of yours has not gotten you killed."

"Spoken like my mother. Good day, Becks."

Truth be told, Jess was amazed she was able to get out of the house without Rebekah prying for more information. She knew that the female Original was still wary about her. Rebekah, like the rest of the Mikaelsons were to set in their ways to change. Jess was lucky that Kol was easier to handle. Maybe now that he was human he would have to get used to things changing. She still couldn't get over the time he accidently cut himself shaving and the wound didn't heal quickly. That was a real eye opening for Kol. It sealed that deal that he was not invincible anymore. His nightmares finally eased up, but that didn't mean they stopped altogether.

Awhile back Jess researched about a man named Alphonz Bellatunde Delgallo or as he is most famously known as, Papa Tunde. She felt that Papa Tunde could help cleanse Kol's mind and free of his nightmares. Months passed by and Jess was met with one dead end after another. It all changed that morning when she got a text from one of her sources who had new details on Papa Tunde's whereabouts.

The problem; however, her source was not always reliable or dependable.

"So nice of you to finally show up. You better not be jerking me around this time Kaleb." Jess sneered at the brown haired man walking towards.

"Well, hello to you to Jess. Still pleasant as always." Kaleb spoke in his southern drawl.

Kaleb was a tall, dark, and handsome young warlock who resided in the uptown area of New Orleans. He actually reminded Jess of Kol. The two men had similar traits: cocky, charming, annoying, and childish.

But what Kaleb had that Kol lacked was more experience in magic. Kaleb was a member of his Mother's coven who's a very powerful in her own right. This woman tended to stay out of the drama that went on in the French Quarter since that was not who territory, but even she couldn't ignore what was happening anymore. She was intrigued by the gossip of a former Original vampire returning from the Other Side a warlock.

"Quit the small talk. What do you have for me?"

"We never talk anymore. Why is that?"

"Because you are a jerk and lying sack shit. Now tell me what you know of Papa Tunde?" seethed Jess. She knew Kaleb was testing her patience. That's what he did.

"And what do I get in return when I give you this information?" Kaleb smirked.

To Jess, Kol's smirk was cute and endearing, but with Kaleb she wanted to wipe that smirk right off of his face.

"You get to not have your heart ripped from your chest."

"Always one with words. Alright, if you want to know more about Papa Tunde you and this Kol will have to come to my Mother's house this Friday night. She has dealt with him in the past. If she likes Kol, then she may be willing to help him. Are you up for it?" Kaleb asked.

Jess sighed. "Do I have any other choice?"

A/N: It has been forever since I have updated. I appreciate those who have stuck with me. You guys are great. The only thing I changed about Kaleb was his accent. I didn't want to write him with a Cockney accent. Anyways, this story is starting to get into more nitty gritty aspect. Enjoy.
