Violeta had somewhat carried, but mostly dragged Evan into the black armored jeep that she had recently shot an agent out of. She had to be fast with her actions since...if Violeta knew anything. It's that they'd be back. "Come on Kin." She told him and he listened. Hopped into her lap from the ground and crawled into the backseat. Violeta had placed Evan into the passenger seat with some struggle and strapped his seatbelt on. She stopped the bleeding coming from his wrist as well, turns out it wasn't broken. It was just slit open from the crash, luckily it didn't hit a vein but it still needed real medical attention at somepoint. Violeta started the jeep and sighed. "I'm sorry Rosa…" Violeta couldn't find her, she began driving towards the city again. There was no time to look for Rosa, it'd probably get them all killed in the process and this was their only chance at escaping right now. 'I'll be back for you.' Violeta thought to herself and looked through the rearview mirror as she drove on.

The entire drive was silent, not only because Evan hadn't woken up yet but it just felt depressing overall. The jeep entered the city after about 20 minutes, Violeta was deeply worn out. She just wanted to sleep, that wouldn't happen until they were all safely out of this city though. Violeta pulled over to a curb and laid back against the seat, looking down at Evan's wrist to make sure it was still holding together. "Come here Kin." She grinned back at him, he needed comfort too. His trainer had recently died after all.

Kin came over and sat in her lap, and Violeta held him while gently stroking the fur on his back. Something strange outside of the window caught her eye, she looked ahead and saw a lot of military personnel in vehicles drive past quickly. What followed were a few gunshots and screaming, Violeta immediately threw the jeep into drive. She couldn't catch a break just yet. She stayed in that spot though instead of mindlessly darting out into whatever was going on. A woman and a few other civilians ran down the sidewalk next to the jeep, but they were quickly gunned down by a few people wearing navy blue colored suits. Unova's army wore a dark green. The gunners faces were covered by masks as well. They had to be the opposing region in this war.

Violeta now suddenly began to drive off. She was horrified, almost every street she looked down had something going on, whether it be a battle between both regions or civilians being caught in crossfire. Violeta focused ahead now and saw a roadblock of military trucks, she was going way too fast in order to turn onto another road and was forced to screech to a stop before she'd hit the roadblock. Her right hand holding Kin in place.

"Hands up where I can see em!" Violeta felt her heart sink, she looked out of the window next to her and saw an enemy soldier with a pistol aimed at her. She did as he said and raised her hands up.

"Out!"

Violeta sighed to herself and in response, set Kin aside and stepped outside of the jeep.

"Where'd you get this jeep?" He kept his pistol on Violeta.

"I-I took it." She responded as steadily as she could.

"From who?" His voice getting more forceful as if getting impatient.

Violeta stayed silent at first, but realized that she didn't care what happened to the organization anymore. She despised it, "Veilstock." Violeta replied, the man who questioned her stood there for a moment and slightly lowered his pistol.

"Who are you?"

Violeta saw him lower his weapon fully now. "I work for them, for...a man named Sill." The soldier now slid his pistol back into his holster and eyed her, his face was covered but even so it was obvious he wasn't as hostile.

"Come with me." He began to walk along the sidewalk past the roadblock but Violeta didn't follow.

"W-Wait! My friend is still in the jeep, unconscious. He can't be left alone!" Violeta pleaded, the soldier turned around and sighed.

"I'll send in an order to bring him along, let's go." Violeta looked back at the jeep, then hesitantly took a few steps until she began to follow. Hopefully it wasn't into any danger but she had no choice either way.

He took her into a building, then went down a few flights of stairs. There was a main room, white walls, seemed like a basement and was large in size where hundreds of people were getting into all blue outfits and readying weapons. This had to be their temporary headquarters or something. Violeta was still pretty confused. "Come on, keep up." The soldier reminded her as they weaved through the crowd until they reached a door at the end of the room. The soldier knocked before entering a much smaller one with Violeta.

"Who's this?" A man sitting at the desk asked, he was Asian. Just like Sill.

"She says she works for Veil so I brought her in." The soldier said and walked back out of the door and into the main room.

"So, is that true?" He questioned, eyeing Violeta with a grin.

"I don't understand what you guys have to do with Veilstock, aren't you from an entirely different region?" Violeta asked, more confused than ever.

"We have everything to do with Veil considering that we work together." She shook her head, clearly shocked by this news she was never told anything about. "I'm guessing you weren't aware of our partnership, we've now nearly taken Unova as our own with the help of Veil." The man now smirked, content that the takeover was working.

"Wait, but you're killing people. Innocent people. You aren't taking it over to help make it better as promised." Violeta had no idea who she'd been working for, was she really killing bad people on those missions?

"Once we have the region under our control we'll help the citizens. We need some of them for this region to properly function anyway." He explained calmly, this guy was obviously messed up in the head. As Sill was.

"I've been working for Veil for years...taking out supposed targets that were said to be corrupt within Unova. I thought I was helping to make a difference for the better that entire time. I thought we were going to put the region under better ownership...We're the bad guys, aren't we?"

"I guess you could say that."
