Chapter Twenty-Three
Seiya sat in the computer desk chair, feeling a headache coming on as she stared at the monitor displaying a variety of sound bytes and samples. The song wasn't anywhere near done but she felt as if she was making progress finally. She arrived in the studio at four in the morning out of all times with very sleep considering Michiru's current schedule. However, Haruka had personally asked her to take time off for herself today to work on the song while she handled Michiru. The only catch was making arrangements for a birthday party later on in the day in honor of Michiru's birthday once the artist's schedule cleared up for the day. Seiya agreed on the idea, asking Usagi to pick up a couple of items as gifts for Michiru as well as the custom cake that the raven haired woman had custom ordered two days before.
"You're making it much harder on yourself this way you know?" a familiar gruff voice said.
"Good morning to you too," Seiya greeted in acknowledgment that her older brother was watching her from behind her.
"Why don't you let me help you?"
"Because this was mine before you decided to feel entitled to steal it from me," Seiya said, whirling around the office chair to face Taiki.
"I did nothing of the sort. Kakyuu showed-" the brunette began.
"Oh wait, I forgot. You stole her from me too," sneered Seiya.
Taiki looked darkly at his sister, seemingly clenching his jaw, "What? You thought she swung that way? She's too pure for you to just up and corrupt her with your tendencies."
Seiya laughed dryly standing up from the chair, pushing it harshly to where it slammed into the desk with a violent clang-property damage be damned..
She slowly sauntered over to her brother who looked fearlessly as she drew herself closely to his face-tightly grabbing him by the lapels of his mustard yellow blazer.
"Oh? So you think this whole time I've been going though a phase? You think she would have been temporary to me? Well let me tell you now, aniki… I'm no phase or tendency. This is the reality of my life. I've been gay for as long as I remember, and I'm sick of losing to little entitled fucks such as yourself who think that your dick makes you above people are different than yourself. Just because society tells you that awoman is to be yours all because you're a man doesn't make society right. Me loving someone isn't any part of corruption. It's your way of thinking that is," she said.
"Kakyuu chose me. Get. Over. It," Taiki retorted, enunciating every syllable as he spoke.
"While I can accept that you are the one that makes her happy-don't take my shit without asking ever again. That includes my previous music and anything to do with my work. Your only excuse is Kakyuu suggesting it. You got what you wanted, so leave my shit alone. You have yours," Seiya warned before pushing Taiki out the studio door and slamming it in front of his face. She clicked the lock and wanted to scream in frustration as she gritted her teeth in anger.
"Fuck," she hissed before throwing herself into the chair again to work on the song again…
Usagi had her hands full as she walked down the hallway to hear the loud slam of the door down the hallway as Seiya's older brother stood outside of it. She had came to inform Seiya that she had bought most of the supplies and gifts and that she had placed the birthday cake into the staff fridge for later on. However, now that she had now ran into this sight, she could only assume that Seiya and Taiki had fought…
"A-Ano.." Usagi stuttered, unsure as to what to do.
Eyes so blue that they almost seemed purple darted over to the blonde…
"Tsukino-chan was it…?" Taiki asked.
"Yes…."
Taiki chuckled, looking disgusted as he looked at the door-his hand jiggling the handle that wasn't budging. Seiya had locked the door.
"She's locked herself in," he muttered, "What a brat..."
"Did you two fight?" Usagi inquired.
Taiki hesitated for a moment, as if in thought about it-he looked up at the ceiling and then shrugged, "I suppose we did.."
"That's a shame.. You both are brother and sister," commented Usagi.
"She's a bit of a disgrace as a sister. Carrying on like that. You know-she's always given me a fuck ton of trouble right?" Taiki asked.
"How so? She's been nothing but kind and accommodating towards me and everyone here," Usagi said in defense of her friend.
Seiya didn't seem like a disgrace at all. She was as kind as she was loyal. Usagi couldn't thank her enough for her support over the past couple of weeks. The dark haired woman had been attentive and compassionate…
"Maybe it's just towards me then. I am her brother after all… I know her the best," said Taiki.
"It sounds like you barely know her at all," Usagi said in disagreement.
Taiki smirked knowingly, walking past her in the narrow hallway, "Shall we talk alone somewhere?"
Usagi silently nodded, following the brunette into an empty room close by.
"Seiya has always been a troublemaker for me. You know she's an American right? As I am I… We have a rather difficult past that I helped us overcome. Seiya however, always tended to give me trouble. I don't know if it was out of jealousy or what, but she always wanted to rebel. She almost didn't finish school at all but I have Kakyuu to thank for encouraging my sister to continue by giving her some sort of inspiration," Taiki explained.
"She loved Kakyuu. She told me everything… Maybe not in great detail but I know of your guy's situation," said Usagi. She didn't know whether or not it was appropriate to use the word 'love' in past tense, but secretly hoped that should could for some reason
"I'm well aware that she is in love with her. But, Seiya's just going through a tomboy phase. It will pass. Plus, Kakyuu doesn't live her life that way."
"But she's not… With all due respect Taiki-san, your sister is a lesbian and there's absolutely nothing wrong with that. Sure your wife made her choice, and that's fine. But I think there's more to Seiya than what you know… I really do feel that way in my heart. I don't think Seiya would be troublesome without reason. And even then, she was a teenager then. I was a terrible daughter to my mother and father. I was aimless and a huge crybaby. My grades were the worst and lunch time was my favorite subject. I was a horrible role-model for my younger sister...If it weren't for Tennou-san...I wouldn't be here at all. And for that I'm very grateful. So I know from the experience of being a failure...of being troublesome myself, that Seiya has turned it around. She's an excellent manager to Kisaki-san and has been incredibly diligent ever since she arrived here. More importantly, she's been a good friend. She's been there for me when nobody else was...she was willing to fight when I didn't have the strength to do so myself. Taiki-san, she often carries the weight of other people's burdens without a word. She never once complains or mentions it. I only know about this from paying attention to her for so long. Truly, I feel like you really need to give your sister a chance. You both one day, need to work it out and talk," Usagi explained.
Taiki for a second looked shocked. It was as if he had only noticed this information just then and there.
"You're really perceptive of my sister," he murmured.
"I really do care about her. She's been nothing but good to me.. However, she speaks very little about herself or her past….at least until recently. But even then,I can tell that deep down she's repressing a lot of hurt," continued Usagi.
"Seiya and I come from a troubled household… In a way, thinking about it, I can't blame her for turning out the way she did. The apple doesn't fall too far from the tree though, she's not nearly as terrible as our parents. Honestly, I think our mother was too ignorant to get an abortion each time she happened to get pregnant… Our parents were partiers and tended to be pretty irresponsible guardians. They moved to America because of the less restricted drug laws...the relaxed consequences in comparison to Japan's..It was a bit easier to obtain substance I suppose. One day, our parents just disappeared out of nowhere. I was a pre-teen at the time and Seiya was barely nine going on ten. I don't think she quite understood that her mom and dad weren't ever going to come back," Taiki began.
"Nobody noticed that you two were alone?" Usagi asked. She was aware of this situation. Seiya had mentioned it, but Usagi knew not to press further for information, and had merely listened.
"That's why I get angry with Seiya and her bullshit. I was the one holding it down. She had no idea how disgusting it was selling myself out to whomever to pay the god damn bills… Not physically of course, that would be too dangerous. Especially as a minor. I didn't want to get caught by the police. However, I did take advantage of running internet while our power lasted in our house before our parents left...and was a camera boy for awhile…. I had a feeling they were going to up and leave us soon, so I did what I had to. The power was off for a little bit and work halted for a second. But I managed. It was really disgusting but the quickest and easiest way to make a livable income. Nobody knew my age and for awhile, people just assumed I was some baby-faced adult until I grew older-then I could pass off more so as an adult model. I studied really hard in school knowing that I didn't want this to be my life forever. I needed out of it but I wanted to take care of my baby sister and myself. The sacrifice needed to be made… So here's Seiya, being an absolute pain the ass. Getting in trouble at school, more concerned with partying with girls than doing her damn school work. She began to smoke cigarettes and club hop...which I was terrified of; because if she got in trouble with the police-we'd both be in huge trouble for not having a guardian in our home. I might have also gotten in trouble for soliciting myself while underage. I was terrified of us being placed in foster care and being separated. I didn't suffer that life for nothing you know? So eventually, that dumb bitch decided that she could be a truant. And by then, I was pretty irritated, but then I really got fucking livid once she fought a teacher. This girl literally beat the hell out of this guy. For what reason? I have no clue. What I do know is that the principal was demanding to speak to parents that her and I didn't have..." Taiki continued on with his story.
"Oh my god...I'm so sorry… So what did you do?" Usagi questioned. She felt her eyes tear up. Taiki and Seiya had been through so much… The bun haired girl couldn't have ever imagined that she had been without a mother or father. It broke her heart as well knowing that Seiya had partially estranged herself from the only person that she truly had…her older brother…
"I made excuses until graduation of course, and then got the hell out of there. I was a senior when she had done it and it was close to the end of the year thankfully. Every time they would insist, I would just mention that our "parents" work schedules happened to be super tight and that they were at home very late at night. Right after, I took Seiya with me once I got accepted to a University in Japan. I tried to explain to the embassy that I was her legal guardian and that she had to come with me while I pursued my studies. I was eighteen by that time, so there wasn't much fear anymore. However, this whole ordeal is also why I'm incredibly bitter with Seiya," Taiki answered.
"Bitter?"
"You do know that Seiya was supposed to debut as an idol right? She was about to get signed on with a major company. Kakyuu should have never mentioned our engagement to her…. I guess she was assumed it was going to be taken at good news. My wife is a little dense that way. She never actually knew about Seiya's feeling," Taiki continued.
"She stopped because of Kakyuu," murmuredUsagi.
"Which is a fucking slap in the face. We had worked so hard to get Seiya to the point she was at. With her studies, with her classes, and auditions. All over some stupid feelings… Do you know what I would give to be able to just easily sign a contract onto a record label myself? I can't because my previous line of work would be leaked and I would be dropped from an agency in a heartbeat… However, Seiya never done anything of the sort. She'd be safe from scandal. She threw away the opportunities that I wished I could have had," Taiki said bitterly as he shook his head.
"I'm so sorry.. You both have completely been sailing ships in the night. There's been some serious miscommunication,"Usagi said as she stood.
Taiki rolled his eyes, "More like she's just being a spoiled self-centered brat."
Usagi suddenly lugged the older man up from his seat with all of her strength and dragged him down the hallway stumbling, straight back to the door that Seiya had locked and holed herself up in.
She kicked at the door not once letting go of Taiki.
"Kou, Seiya you open this door right now!" Usagi exclaimed.
Seiya had immediately opened door at the sound of Usagi's shrill voice, sounding worried as she began to say, "Usa-" only to be smacked by the blonde who still held Taiki in her grasp.
"You big dummy! Get over yourself! Just who is it do you like eh?! More important, stop being hostile to your brother!"
"Ow-jesus! Tsukidango, what did you catch rabies or something?! You're like a rabid rabbit!" yelped Seiya trying to duck the blows.
"And you Taiki Kou-san, need to be honest with your sister about everything and accept her for who she is! Seiya if you don't talk this out with your brother I will NEVER speak to you again," threatened Usagi.
Seiya paled, frightened by the small blonde haired girl's rage that was taken towards both her and her brother. She was ducking on the floor at this point from being smacked multiple times in the face and head. While she knew that she wouldn't bruise, it still hurt.
Before Taiki or Seiya could protest another voice lightly chimed in from behind everyone in the doorway, "And I agree with you Tsukino-san. If you both don't sort your difference this very moment, I will be highly disappointed in the both of you. Especially you Taiki. As you wife, I insist you properly talk to your sister with an open mind. And as your sister-in-law Seiya, I will be very heartbroken if you don't speak your mind but also listen to what he has to say. Please don't come out of that room until you both have figured it out."
Kakyuu Kou stood there, a bright smile on her face-Usagi let go of both boys, stepping aside to let Kakyuu take over. The woman gently, as if she were playing, nudged her husband inside the studio sound room with her sister.
"I know you both won't let me down," she said before closing the door, leaving both siblings to themselves.
The red headed woman glanced over at Usagi, a warm smile on her face, as she suggested, "Shall we get ready for Kisaki-san's party now?"
"Y-Yeah.." Usagi managed to stutter out.
Two women sat in the suite living room, the TV blaring as they lounged on the couch. It was going into the mid-afternoon,and both had partied a little too hard with the twins that they had made a business agreement with. Inviting both Ail and Ann out for dinner had been a good idea-but getting drunk hadn't been a part of the plan. Getting Ail and Ann drunk enough to have an agreement and spill some inside information had been the intention, but it lead both Minako and Rei to drinking along with them as to make it not look suspicious.
So, here they were now. Back at the Hino Hotel, in one of the finest suites there was, watching a morning television talk show that was to feature Michiru Kisaki in a couple of minutes.
"Ladies and gentlemen, it's my great honor to bring out a special debuting guest today. However, let me correct myself-we have guests. Everyone, I would like you to graciously give a round of applause for Haruka Tennou, head of Tennou Entertainment, and her new debuting artist, Michiru Kisaki!" the show host announced brightly.
The camera panned over to the stairway in which both Haruka and Michiru entered from. Haruka's arm was around Michiru's waist, leading her down the small flight of silver stairs as made their way onto the stage to sit on the neighboring couch. The crowd went wild..
Rei whistled impressed, "Damn, talk about an entrance. Do you see that hand down on her booty like that?"
"Typical of Haruka Tennou," Minako scoffed.
"No offense Minako, but they do make a for a physically attractive couple..."
The blonde rolled her blue eyes, "Shut up and watch the show..."
Rei snickered, knowing that she hit a nerve.
"So, I would like to say, this is both not your first time on my show. However, this is Kisaki-san's first time performing on my stage later on and debuting as a musical artist. Tennou-san, would you like to tell us how she's been fairing?" the host inquired.
"Michiru-chan has been working very hard ever since she has signed onto my label. She's an incredibly talented woman, and I'm so honored to be working with her. You all are in for a treat later on in the show," answered Haruka with a grin.
Michiru gently smiled, her eyes downcast shyly-posing like the ladylike figure that she had always been in public, quietly chiming in, "Yes. Please look forward to it everyone."
Rei laughed at out, "What garbage! She's should be an actress at this rate!"
"It makes me wonder how well she'll act in a couple weeks when her little secret is out," Minako said.
"Kisaki-san, do you mind informing us about your concept for both the single and album?" asked the host.
"Well, I really wanted to show a side that is incredibly authentic to myself. You will certainly see that later on in the show with this first single. It was entirely composed by me," Michiru explained.
"Can you say the same for the album?" pressed the host.
"The album was decided shortly after I had signed on with Tennou-san. Because of the short time frame, I took a lot of creative justice where ever I could, however due to the time constraint, I did have help. However, I wholeheartedly trust Tennou-san's production skills. Regardless of the composition, it's still be as authentic as it can be. I've really enjoyed it and I hope my fans will as well," responded Michiru.
Haruka nodded in agreement, "The concept is very elegant but also very fun. I think her fans will really appreciate all the love and hard work placed into it."
"Speaking of love," continued to the host, "What can we say about those rumors that the paparazzi have spread over the past couple of weeks? It's also been said that Tennou-san's accidentally may have possibly made you two grow closer."
Michiru merely chuckled shaking her head, "Uwaa. How embarrassing! As much as the support I would get from being together with someone is flattering, I am not together with Tennou-san. She really gave me a scare with her car accident. It was really reckless of my boss. Her well being concerned me but also our schedule being set back would have been as concerning for me as well."
"Wow she really did cock-block the entire situation," commented Rei.
"A good cover up..."
"I really apologize for the scare everyone and appreciate all the heartfelt love and support from both my staff and fans," Haruka answered.
"After our commercial break, we will have the privilege of have Michiru Kisaki perform her debut single, "Love Addict" on this stage. Don't go anywhere! We will be right back!" the host exclaimed as the audience applauded and the screen transitioned into commercials.
Minako grinned darkly picking up her phone as she dialed a number. Rei glanced at her suspiciously.
"What are you-?" Rei began.
The blonde haired idol held a thin manicured finger to her lips to shush her as the ringing began.
"Eiji-kun, it's Minako. You did send the back track back to Tennou's studio's right?" Minako asked.
"F-For the great time you gave me the other night ago, the deal is good as done Aino-san! Kisaki-san, won't be playing with her instrumental track. It's hidden. Matter of fact, there was an e-mail sent out a couple days ago saying that she was supposed to only be performing with her violin but she didn't arrive with one."
Minako giggled flirtatiously, "Thank you so much Eiji-kun! Tennou-san had made me the middle woman because she was so busy. Kisaki-san is known to be amazing singing live. But then I saw you at the soundboard and thought that you were such a cutie. I couldn't resist asking you out on a date. Let's do it again some time ne?"
Rei's jaw dropped. That brilliant bitch…
"I have to go Aino-san. We're about to go live again. But I will definitely take you up on that offer. You have a good rest of your day now!" Eiji called out cheerfully.
Minako smirked as she hung up.
"You didn't!" Rei exclaimed her eyes glittering wildly at the thought.
"Oh, but I did. Yaten shouldn't be so careless with her dual set ofoffice keys you know? I went to Haruka's office back when she was hospitalized and went through a couple of e-mails. I saw that Michiru had a back track for the show that had been mailed to the studio and went to the studio to formally ask that their staff mail it back the morning of Michiru's arrival. Having a little fun with Eiji-kun was just to ensure the deed was done… If he didn't comply, I would have made sure that the sex would have him do so for me. I am the goddess of love after all," Minako explained.
"You little slut!" teased Rei.
"At least I'm not a boyfriend stealer," Minako shot back.
The dark haired woman's eyes glared at her, "Don't be such a bitch!"
"Being as bitch is my specialty. It got us this situation didn't it? Michiru Kaiou won't know what hit her. It'll be a shame everyone's first impression of her to be that she wasn't prepared," Minako said innocently.
"Yeah...you're definitely a bitch. But a brilliant one..."
"Kisaki-san, I noticed that you didn't come in with your violin?" the host asked back stage.
"Ah...she was supposed to have an instrumental track. I had mailed it to you guys a bit ago," intervened Haruka.
"Actually, we were given instruction by you through e-mail to send it back today. We were told that Kisaki-san was going to perform live," the soundboard producer said.
Michiru paled. What had just happened…. She felt her throat suddenly drop into her stomach.
"Oh my god…."
"Shit..." Haruka cursed.
"Haruka what did you do?!" Michiru screamed.
The host between them looked confused.
"I did nothing. This was a set up. Michiru, your shit's been hijacked. This is a plot against you by someone in the company and I'm pretty sure I know whom," Haruka said.
"So what do we do? Tennou-san, we've promised our audience a performance on live television," the host insisted.
Michiru felt like she was going to throw up. There was absolutely no way she was going to be able to sing in this state. Her nerves were messed up. There wasn't going to be any music in the background as she sang. Her song would be like some shit acapella karaoke without anything to accompany it. She knew on regular circumstances that she could sing...even without the back track. However, she was already nervous from this being her first time singing on a stage in front of hundreds of people-millions if you consider it being on live television. This situation made it even worse…
"Michiru, do you have the sheet music? On your phone even?!" Haruka frantically asked.
"Yes why?" Michiru answered with her own question, trying not to throw up on her Louboutins or dress.
"Load it up for me on my e-mail. If you guys have a tablet I can borrow, that would be appreciated. You all do have a keyboard that I can have reign over to use on stage right?" Haruka questioned.
"Of course. We can bring it out for you. Will Kisaki-san be playing it?" inquired the TV host.
"No. I will. Consider it a special performance. In honor of Michiru's birthday and a repayment to you all for being under-prepared. If you can just stall for a couple of minutes while I get it step up with the sheet music, we will give the nation an unforgettable debut" answered Haruka.
"Let me inform the staff that we need to get it hooked up and on stage pronto!" the host said, running at full force knowing it was only a matter of time before they went live.
Michiru glanced over at Haruka horrified, "Do you even know how to play it?"
Haruka grinned confidently.
"Michiru...I am your producer. I helped with the remix of this track. I've listened to the original over and over again. I won't let you down as long as you don't let me down," she said.
"You're crazy… What if-" Michiru began.
"It won't. I have faith in us both. Michiru Kisaki, you're an amazing woman with so many talents. You're about to awe the world. So sing your heart out, I will be right behind you," Haruka commanded.
"Tennou-san! We have it out on stage! Please quickly get set up!" one of the staff announced.
"Hai!" Haruka answered glancing behind her, "Get on stage, beautiful. Show that bitch who sabotaged you that you won't go down without a fight..."
"Haruka..."
"Don't cry! You're too pretty today to cry!" Haruka called out as she dashed to the front of the stage to hook up the wires and open up the sheet music from her personal e-mail.
"It's my birthday...I'll cry if I want to," Michiru teased with an exhausted smile as she stood in front of the stage.
'Relax Michiru…. It will be okay. Make your voice clear. Haruka won't let you fall…'
"Welcome back everyone! I've just been informed that today is a special day! Apparently it's Kisaki-san's birthday today!" the host announced as they went back on live.
Michiru beside him nodded with a bright smile, "Yes it will be. Thank you all for coming today. I have a special treat for you."
"Not only will she be performing her debut song, but in honor of her special day today, she will be performing a special version of it with Haruka Tennou on the piano to accompany her! You'll only hear and see this performance on this show, so it's a huge treat!" exclaimed the host.
The audience looked excited. Some of the girls were bouncing up in their seats, excitedly holding each other. Michiru then wondered if it were because of her performance or if it was because Haruka was going to play the piano-and it was very rare for her to ever do so. There had maybe been one time she had played publicly while she was famous. Otherwise the rest was her production work for her artist's songs… If it went well, it would indeed be a treat.
Michiru walked over to the center stage where Haruka was behind the keyboard set, skimming over the music and looked thoroughly prepared. She glanced up once giving her a rather cheesy thumbs up as reassurance and the aquamarine haired woman couldn't help but stifle a laugh.
"Ladies and gentleman, for the first time ever, Michiru Kisaki's special debut single, "Love Addict"!"
And the with that the audience cheered and the opening notes on the piano played…
"You did a really great job with the selection of decorations Tsukino-san!" Kakyuu complimented.
"Thank you! I tried. Seiya gave me most of the instructions though.. I just picked up things that matched the color scheme," Usagi said.
"That's just like Seiya-kun… Always being observant of the other people's preferences and words," murmured Kakyuu fondly.
Usagi couldn't help but be slightly jealous of the fondness in her voice. It took the reminder than Kakyuu was married to Taiki for her to coax herself that she was being ridiculous..
"She can be really dense though… I hope she and her brother talk it out," Usagi said.
"They will. Taiki hasn't been so accepting and Seiya's been a bit juvenile," Kakyuu assured.
"You can't blame her… Taiki insisting that she's just going through a tomboy phase is pretty inconsiderate," sulked Usagi.
"Oh..but...that's the think. I don't think that he can accept that she is a boy," Kakyuu said.
"Eh?"
Usagi furrowed her eyebrows in confusion. What did Kakyuu mean by that…? Seiya was a woman… She liked girls and all..and even dressed like a boy but….she was woman...wasn't she?
"Though, I suppose that's where Seiya is a bit dense. I don't think Seiya realizes it himself yet…," Kakyuu mused with an amused smile.
Usagi opened her mouth to say something. To ask the red haired woman to go into further detail. What did she mean by Seiya being a boy? Had there been some deep dark secret that Usagi didn't know about…?
"Guys! Come in here! Michiru is on TV!" Seiya's voice shrieked from down the hallway. Usagi jumped from the sudden noise and Kakyuu exited the room quickly. Taiki and Seiya were there in an empty room that had a large television screen on the wall. It was a meeting room that was usually used for company presentations. However, today the screen was on an afternoon television show and the meeting room was full of people. Staff, secretaries, artists, photographers, stylists, managers, and trainees… Some with their mouths wide open.
"Oh my god...they're so cool like that together… Did they plan that out together? Nobody ever rumored of them rehearsing…." one of the trainee girls said.
"Tennou-san looks so effortless."
"And Kisaki-san looks so elegant!"
There was Michiru Kisaki, center stage in a beautiful blue and white 3D floral print styled dress that cinched in all the right places. Her hair beautifully flowed with cascading curls as if she were a mermaid out of water. Her shoes made her look infinitely taller on TV than what she was in real life. Behind her was Haruka Tennou, on a white modern style keyboard with glowing white keys and sides as she hit each key..playing the exact song that that Michiru had composed.
They had taken the world by storm. And Usagi knew that something had went horribly wrong. Not once, had Usagi seen or heard Michiru and Haruka rehearse or play this song together. This had been impromptu. But...their good chemistry...or the fact that something had went wrong on Michiru's debut television stage..on her birthday of all days, wasn't what made Usagi's stomach twist up in knots.
She tore her eyes away from the television screen-and her blue eyes went directly towards Seiya who looked as stunned as she looked proud… But then it was if she knew that she was being watched by Usagi. And as soon as their eyes met… Usagi cried… Big gross tears fell down her eyes and she sobbed….
It was if suddenly seeing Seiya in person...made her realize things and see her in a new light…
"What's wrong?" Seiya asked, with a confused smile.
Usagi forced herself to smile, shaking her head, pointing at the TV as if to say that the performance being beautiful was what had made her cry. But that was lie… That wasn't the reason at all…
'I don't think Seiya realizes it himself yet…'
(A/N: AHHHHHH! I can't believe I got this chapter out today...and so quickly. This one LITERALLY wrote itself. So much happened in this chapter, it feels a little bit overwhelming. But yet again, we're heading to a climax or so… LOL But not quite yet? Can you believe that this is more than half way to the 500 page mark? Good gawd, this is a novel now! 3
I think this is one of the chapters that happens to be my favorite...all the interactions between people in this made it really fun to write. I was evilly laughing the entire time. _ LOL Anyways, as always. Thank you guys for not giving up on me and for all your kind reviews/comments that are always left. I really enjoy hearing ya'lls theories or even just your excitement. It makes me really happy that I help some of you guys jump start the beginning of your days, entertain you at lunch, or help you end you day. That's really flattering. Anyways, next time, we have Michiru's birthday party! Please look forward to it, until next time!)
