Hey, sorry I didn't update yesterday (and the day before), my brain went *poof* and I died on the floor. I was also dragged on a ten mile bike ride with my mum * and my gluteus maximus still hurts . I also wanted to leave you on a bit of a cliffhanger, because I'm evil. Thanks to Gingerwolf96 for being awesome and chatting to me when I ran out of ideas. Where would this fic be without you?

His eyes were shut and with their lips parted ever so slightly their mouths touched, and the wind picked up once more.

What am I doing? This isn't right. What's going on. I'm here for one reason only. What am I doing? What am I …

Leola's string of thoughts were cut as she relaxed into the could feel Merlin blushing and she could taste the alcohol on his lips. She knew she was drunk too, and she wanted to stop, so neither of them were hurt, but she wanted to stay and risk the consequences, because it was so wonderful. The feeling she had was warming her cold body, from the lips downwards and she wanted to stay in that moment of time forever, but she knew it couldn't last.

Instead of waiting for Merlin to break away, she pushed him off of her. He stumbled back in the snow and she fled for the gates, without even looking up once.

O

Merlin's head hurt, he opened his eyes, but the light coming in from the window was blinding him and he immediately shut them once more. Then he realised something.

This wasn't his bed, this wasn't the smell of his flat, wary of the pain it would cause Merlin opened his eyes, and a gorgeous room filled his vision.

It was clean and modern, the colour scheme was black and white and it seemed so fresh and vibrant, even with the lack of varying colours. With his eyes squinted he surveyed the room, where his vision came to rest upon a figure turned towards him, sitting at the only desk in the room.

"Morning Merlin."

Oh oranges, it was Arthur.

"Hard-core partying last night, I see."

"Don't say hard-core, you prat."

"Prat? If you must know Mister 'I'm so ungrateful', I'm the one who saved your sorry ass last night and dragged you back here, while you threw up all over my shirt."

Merlin blushed and looked down at the sheets only then did he notice, he was not wearing his clothes. He opened his mouth to scream.

"Oh God Merlin. Of course not! I didn't change your clothing, it was a maid. She left your boxers on, and washed you. I would never do such a thing. Gross, no."

Merlin stared questioningly at Arthur before asking, "How do you know she left my boxers on?"

Arthur went bright red and didn't respond, instead turning his attention to his open laptop on the desk.

O

After Merlin had got up and had breakfast he expected to be let home, but Uther was having none of it.

"You're our guest Merlin, take a look around, I've heard about your grades and when you graduate, I might just let you join our company."

Arthur was pissed off about that.

"I don't understand, why would he want you and not his only son?!"

"Arthur, come on, he probably wants you as well."

"He has never spoken to me about the company, compared to you and Morgana. I bet he'l want Leo next, and this company probably is against all her ideas of morals!"

Merlin pulled Arthur, and made Arthur look at him, "Look, I'm sure you're wanted to join this company, I bet your dad just expects it, so he doesn't feel the need to ask you about it."

Arthur sighed and nodded, then turned back round to continue walking down the endless corridor.

"Oh and Arthur, when did you start calling her Leo?"

"Oh I don't know, a little while ago, why?"

"It's just, I don't know, Leo is what I called her, that's all."

"Are you jealous? Because Morgana calls her Leo too."

"No, it was just something that me and her met over."

Arthur shook his head and grabbed Merlin by the arm.

"This way you idiot."

O

Leola was wandering. The streets were cold and snow still lay on the ground. Her head was pounding but she ignored the pain and walked further along the street, aiming for the park.

She hadn't gone back to the flat, just in case Merlin was there, just in case she did something she would regret, just in case she said something that would break the fragile image she had created.

Leola stared at the pattern her feet had made in the snow, lazily she brought her right hand up and made a sweeping motion, her tracks were immediately filled with snow and she entered into the park made of ice.

*mum is mom in English-English (I'm sure you know that)

I'm doing a contest! Yay! To celebrate new year, I want some fan art of this story to use as its cover. I have been using online stuff, which is great and all, but I want to know what you guys see as the characters. ^_^

I want you to include at least one of the characters (preferably Leola, Merlin, Arthur, Morgana or Gwen) but feel free to add in more :) Please don't make them festive, because it will be the cover for THE REST OF TIME. I don't care if you don't think you can draw, because I assure you it's better than mine. Send your entries to my e-mail (to get it please PM me) and the closing date is the 1st January 2015. Good luck.

If you want any extra details, just PM me ^_^.
