(Beginning of Chapter 24) WARNING : This chapter contains mentions of sex, as well as various other mature things. Younger ones have been warned!
It was the next morning, a little after ten-o-clock. Luke slowly opened his eyes to the bright sunlight filling his room. He moved his hand over his face to shield his sensitive eyes and let them adjust. He slowly sat up, seeing Pingo the Polar Bear laying next to him. He was in one of the sleeping bags, laying next to a sleeping Conner.
Luke kicked Conner's sleeping bags stirring the boy awake. His hair was so messed up it made Luke giggle.
"Dude fix your hair!" Luke exclaimed as he slowly stood up, yawning loudly as he stretched out his arms.
"It's called bed-head Luke..." Conner replied as he slowly stood up.
"Still looks funny!" Luke giggled as he leaned down and picked up Kenny, and placed him back on the bed.
"Is anyone else awake?" Conner asked.
"I don't know...we stayed up really late so I'm not surprised if everyone's awake by now!"
The two boys walked out of the room, and down the stairs, spotting Emma and Zuri on the couch, while Ravi was in the kitchen eating a bowl of cereal.
"Where's mom?" Luke asked as he took a seat next to his younger brother.
"Still sleeping, but should be awake soon." Ravi replied as he continued to scarf down his cereal.
"Okay," Luke replied as he looked over to Conner, "Your mom's picking you up at noon right?"
"Yep..." Conner replied.
"Hey Luke do you mind if I talk to you for a minute?" Ravi asked.
"Uh...sure?" Luke replied.
"I-In...private..." Ravi stated, hinting he wanted to go somewhere else, away from everyone.
"Okay?" Luke said as he and Ravi walked out of the kitchen, and back upstairs. Eventually getting into Ravi's room.
"So Luke I need to ask you something..." Ravi said nervously.
"What is it Rav? I'm your brother...you can tell me anything!" Luke exclaimed.
"Well when dad checked you for spots a few months ago, did he notice anything...weird?" Ravi said nervously.
"Weird? What do you mean?" Luke asked.
"L-Like...hair?" Ravi whispered.
"Hair? What do you...Oh!" Luke exclaimed, getting what Ravi meant.
"Y-Yeah? Is that normal?" Ravi asked nervously.
Luke giggled and said, "Yeah Ravi! It's completely normal! It's called puberty!"
"Well do you have hair?" Ravi asked.
"That's not any of your business! But yes!" Luke exclaimed, and left the room. Leaving Ravi bewildered and in shock.
Morgan slowly opened his eyes, blinking several times for them to adjust to the bright light. Before he could even move, he felt the cold chill of the air strike his body, that was when he realized he was naked. He jumped up, pulling the covers over his body, pulling them down from the other side of the bed, and that was when he saw April sleeping there, naked as well.
Morgan's eyes widened in shock, he jumped out of bed, completely mind-blown. He could barely remember anything, he just remembered April coming to his hotel room, and she gave him a drink, but after that everything is foggy. What he was thinking couldn't possibly be true, he couldn't have slept with her. He was a married man, never thinking of cheating on his wife, who let alone was pregnant. There has to be some logical explanation.
He grabbed his clothes from the night before that were scattered all across the room, and quickly put them on. His couldn't believe this was happening.
Emma was in her room, reading a magazine when suddenly she got a text. It was from Clayton. And of course it was written in usual text format.
"Hey babe ;) I'm sorry about last nite, just plz come back 2 me!"
Emma sighed, and text him back.
"Give me 1 good reason."
Like ten seconds later, she got a reply.
"Bcuz I luv u babe! Plz come back 2 me! I swear I won't do that again! We can wait until ur ready!"
Emma rolled her eyes and typed back.
"Wow. U seem pretty desperate..."
Seconds later she got another reply.
"Babe plz, I just want 2 c that pretty face again! Can u come over?"
Emma thought about it for a minute, before finally texting him back.
"Fine, u can redeem urself when I get there...leaving now!"
After she got up and slipped on her shoes, she got another text.
"Great! Thanks babe ;) Luv u!"
Emma grabbed her bag and walked downstairs. She was now wearing a light blue top with a pink heart on the chest area, and some skinny jeans, along with a pair of brown boots. Her hair was up in a pony-tail, and strapped onto her shoulder was her purple purse. She grabbed her magenta jacket and walked out the door, not bothering to tell anyone where she was going.
Meanwhile, Luke, Conner, and Ravi were all playing video games in Luke's room, since it was now around eleven-thirty, Conner had about another half-an-hour before his mom picked him up.
"Hey! No fair! You're cheating!" Ravi exclaimed as his older brother beat him once again at another round of Zombie Slayer 5 : The Apocalypse.
"I'm not cheating! I'm just good!" Luke exclaimed back with a grin. "At least you're not as bad as Conner, he barely got past level six!"
"Hey that's only because you two ditched me and left me to fight a horde of zombies!" Conner exclaimed.
"We didn't ditch you! You just don't know how to keep up!" Ravi exclaimed.
On the screen, Luke's character grabbed a chainsaw and started sawing zombies in half left and right, blood splattered everywhere all of his character, causing all the boys to yell out and cheer as they finally beat the round.
"Yes! I beat you both!" Luke exclaimed, not showing any sympathy for his best friend or brother.
"Whatever...this game sucks! How about we play a different game?" Ravi stated.
"Can't...Conner's mom coming to pick him up in like twenty-eight minutes...and he still has to help me clean the room HE destroyed last night!" Luke exclaimed.
"Excuse me? By he I assume you mean you? I did not DESTROY anything...yet." Conner exclaimed, whispering the ending part.
"Whatever! But you still have to help!" Luke stated.
"Ugh...fine!" Conner exclaimed.
Christina was in her room, laying in bed. She had been awake for about an hour now, she's gotten out of bed and everything but the weekends were now days where she laid in bed all day, getting up about every hour to go get something to eat or to go to the bathroom. Right now she was on her laptop, laying it on her pregnant baby while she typed.
After she and Morgan found out about Luke's past, and along with the sexual assault, they had been looking for a therapy group that deals with that sort of thing. But they put if off because his birthday was coming up, and then they had his Gotcha Day and Emma's birthday a few weeks after that, as well as having Christmas a month after that. So now they were finally searching for some, although Luke didn't know about it. They felt this could help him in ways far beyond what they could do for him.
She found some great ones recently, and has been researching more on them, seeing how good the results are and things like that. There was one that stood out to Christina and Morgan particularly. It was for kids around Luke's age, and felt with the same problems that he's had to face.
They had decided before Morgan left that Luke was going to attend, it started in a few days, and it was up to Christina to get him there.
But after researching more into it, her train of that was interrupted when she heard the doorbell ring. She huffed, and got out of bed, awkwardly walking out of her room and down the stairs.
She flung open the door, and saw Mindy Trevanah, Conner's mother.
"Mindy! Nice to see you! I'll get Conner!" Christina exclaimed as she was about to walk up the stairs.
"Christina...Conner can wait, but I really need to talk to you." Mindy exclaimed.
"Uh...okay? What is it?" Christina asked.
"Look...you know how Paul and I have been having...problems right?" Mindy said with caution.
"Yeah...why? Is everything alright?" Christina asked.
"Ha...no...nothings alright! Christina...I think P-Paul and I are s-splitting up..." Mindy stuttered as tears formed in her eyes.
"Oh god...come here!" Christina exclaimed as she embraced Mindy in a tight hug. After they split apart, Christina asked, "So what happened? I thought you guys were getting better, wasn't it just a few fights?"
"It was at first...then after Conner and Luke got...attacked by that man...is just strained it even more to the point where I don't think we can hold on much longer!" Mindy replied.
"Does Conner know?" Christina asked.
"No! Thank heavens! I love that boy with all my heart, and I-I just don't know how we're gonna tell him."
"Well do you want to come in? Sit down and talk about it?"
"No thank you...Conner's got another therapy appointment at three, and we need to get going."
"Oh okay...well I'll go get him." Christina said as she began to walk up the stairs.
Emma walked up to the front door, and knocked on the door. She waited patiently for a good minute or so before the door swung open, and Clayton was standing there.
"Emma! I'm so glad you came!" Clayton exclaimed, "Please, come in!"
Emma followed his gestures, and slowly walked into the foyer. "Where are your parents?" She asked.
"My mom's at work, and dad's in New Jersey for a business trip." Clayton replied.
"So it's just us?" Emma asked.
"Nah, my little brother's here." Clayton replied.
"Oh right...Drew..."
"Do you want it to be just us? I can kick him out of the house for a couple hours? I'm sure he'll find something to do..."
"No...let's just...talk?"
"Okay sure...in the living room? My room? Where?"
"Living room's fine."
The pair walk into the living room, sitting side by side on the couch. Each staring awkwardly at each other.
"So...about last night...I'm really sorry..." Clayton said.
"Clayton...you pushed me...and that is not okay! I'm not ready!" Emma exclaimed.
"You're right I'm sorry! But c'mon babe, you know how I am...I can be stupid sometimes..." Clayton stated.
"Very true. But my virginity isn't yours Clayton...I decide when and where I want to lose it...whether it be with you...or some other guy...who knows? But I do know it won't happen for a long, long time!"
"I get that, I'm sorry. It's just I'm sixteen...and I've been in these situations before where we're making out in a car...and then we'd usually head to the backseat."
"So...what you're trying to say is that you just thought I would be same way?"
"What? NO! I didn't mean it that way!" Clayton exclaimed.
"You know what I'm done...we're done!" Emma said as she stood up.
"No baby please!" Clayton begged, grabbing her hand.
Emma pulled her hand away, but Clayton grabbed her arm and pulled her back down to the couch.
"Ow! Let go!" Emma exclaimed, pulling away from him. He grabbed her shoulder and slammed her against the arm of the couch. Jumping on top of her and smashing his lips against hers.
She screamed and clawed at his face, scratching it and shoving him away.
"Get the hell off me!" Emma exclaimed, shoving him off the couch as she jumped up and ran for the door.
"No Emma! Please I didn't mean it!" Clayton yelled as she bolted out the door.
"Hey Ravi...about earlier...you know I'm not gonna tell anybody right?" Luke asked as he and his little brother cleaned the room.
"I know...thanks." Ravi said.
"Welcome...and you can always come to me for stuff...anything...I'm here for ya bro!" Luke exclaimed.
"I know, so can I ask you another question?" Ravi asked.
"Well you sort of just did, but yeah go ahead." Luke joked.
"H-How did mom get pregnant? No one will tell me!" Ravi exclaimed.
Luke was surprised, he didn't know what to say, "Umm...d-do you pay attention in health class?"
