Hello my lovely readers~ :3 Here is another chapter for you guys :D Sorry this is a couple of days late. I was out on a small vacation and wasn't able to update and at points this was a bit hard to write because of writer's block, but I was able to manage! By the way, this chapter takes place a day after Kid finds out that Crona is missing. Well, I have nothing else to say so I hope you enjoy this chapter ^_^

Death Weapon & Meister Academy

The whole crew, besides Kid, were seated at a round table in the cafeteria, enjoying their lunch and chatting with each other about random things. The sounds of students chattering and laughing about nonsense and the clanks of lunch trays filled the whole eating area, causing it to be very loud in the lunchroom.

As always, there group was probably the loudest table in the cafeteria due to Black Star's obnoxious stunts he would pull off, trying to gain as much attention as he possibly can from the other students, like standing on top of the table and shouting out, "I'm the biggest star there is! No one can surpass me!" And Patty's constant giggling as she watched Black Star, amused at the situation going on.

"Black Star, please sit down." Tsubaki asked him politely, trying to get the boy off the table as best as possible. However, all her attempts failed as the blue haired boy continued to shout at everyone who passed by.

"No way, Tsubaki! Everyone must see what big of a star I am!" He boasted, loudly. Tsubaki sighed, finally giving up on trying to pry him off the table and going back to her seat.

Make looked at the empty seat where the young reaper would usually sit, curiously. "Liz? Did Kid come to school today?"

The older twin pistol looked towards Maka, "I don't know, I haven't seen him all day. He probably went to go visit Crona."

"But doesn't he usually go visit her after school?" She asked, sounding a bit concerned.

Liz shrugged, "Maybe he's just late."

He couldn't be late, Maka thought. She had noticed that Kid wasn't acting like himself lately. Not since the last time they had bumped into each other in the hallway, and at that time he seemed a bit worried about something.

"Something's wrong." Maka stated, taking a quick bite from her sandwich before she continued to speak.

Soul looked at her with a raised brow, "What?"

"Don't you think Kid's been acting a little...weird lately?"

The white haired boy frowned, "Doesn't Kid always act weird?"

"Well... I mean weirder than usual." She responded. "Wouldn't Kid tell us he wasn't coming to eat lunch with us?"

Black Star looked at the pig tailed girl confused, finally stopping his bragging and going back to sitting down in his seat. "Maybe he's just busy."

"But it's not like him to not tell us." She remarked.

"You know, now that I think about it, Kid has been acting a little weird." Liz said. "Yesterday he came back home late and he looked really upset about something as if he were about to cry. Do you think something might have happened between him and Crona?"

"I don't think they would have gotten into a fight, though." She replied. "Maybe...Maybe something happened to Crona? I mean, he seemed really nervous about something when I bumped into him yesterday."

"Why don't we just ask him? He would tell us, wouldn't he?" Tsubaki suggested. Everyone turned to look at her.

The pig tailed girl nodded. "Okay, we'll a-" and before she could finish her sentence everyone's curious eyes from the table turned to the entrance of the cafeteria to see the young reaper walking in. He had a nervous expression on his face. His head was slightly hanging low, trying to ignore the glances he was receiving as he entered the room, as well as trying to hide the worried look he had on.

Soul smirked as he saw Kid walking towards their table, "Look who finally shows up."

Kid approached them and sat in the empty seat meant for him.

"Where have you been, Kid?" Maka asked, sounding curious.

The striped hair boy hesitated. He didn't want to tell them the events that had occurred yesterday. Every time he would think about it, it made him want to panic. He didn't want to think about his pinkette in danger.

I have to tell them. If I tell them...they can help me.

"Kid? Are you okay?" The scythe meister looked at him confused as he continued to stay quiet.

Hearing his name, the young reaper finally popped back into reality. "Oh, yes. I'm sorry I was just thinking about something."

"You look worried. Are you sure you're okay?" She asked him again.

I have to tell them.

He let out a quivery sigh, knowing that he would have to tell them eventually. "I need all of your help."

All six of them looked at the boy confused as to what he meant.

"With what Kid?" Tsubaki asked.

I have to tell them. I have to tell them so I can save Crona. He continued to repeat those words in his head, helping him gain the courage he needed to tell them what had happened.

He let out another sigh before speaking. "Yesterday, I went to the hospital to go...visit Crona. B-But when I entered her room, s-she was missing," he explained, trying to keep calm. "This is why I need your help."

"Someone kidnapped Crona?" The pig tailed meister looked at the boy, concerned.

Kid's heart was beating so fast that he felt like it was going to pop out of his chest anytime now. "Y-Yes, and I need all of you to please help me find her before anything bad happens to her."

"Why don't you ask your father-" Maka was cut short, quickly as Kid answered her question.

"My father wont allow me to search for her."

"Why not?" She asked.

How would he be able to answer this question? He didn't want to tell them the truth, worried that if he told them, they may not want to help him due to the fact that Crona was the daughter of a witch. However, if he didn't that would also lead to more problems.

"Crona..." He felt like he was about to choke up, not wanting to finish his sentence. "C-Crona is the daughter of a witch."

Everyone's eyes widen, besides Patty who was a bit confused about what was going on, at the words he had just said.

"A-A witch?" Tsubaki stuttered.

"Yes. I know it seems ridiculous to rescue someone related to a witch, but she's nothing like her!" He explained.

"Wouldn't Lord Death be mad if he found out we went out to search for her?" Liz mentioned.

He hesitated for a moment. "... Yes. That is why we can't tell him anything about this."

The group stayed quiet for a while, thinking of what to do. Kid watched them, praying and hoping they would all still help him even though they now knew the truth about the girl.

"Okay."

Kid turned to look at Maka. "We'll help you find her."

The young reaper looked at everyone around the table with wide, joyful eyes. Finally, his heart had begun to beat at a normal rate and he felt every piece of faith he had lost come back.

He smiled, I'll find you soon Crona...

A few feet away from the round table, a black and yellow snake appeared from one of the small windows of the cafeteria laying on the window sill watching and listening to the small group thinking up a plan to save the sick girl. It then slithered outside, leaving the academy.
