Chapter Twenty- Four

Ah... Who missed me? :3 OMFG! It's been a busy week! The birthday bash on the 5th and then my sister had to steal the laptop and take it somewhere only God will know *rolls eyes* I still love her though... Anyway... Sorry for the long wait my lovies but I was incredibly busy with Camp ^_^ Yep! Camp and guess whose birthday is today?

MINE! HAPPY SIXTEENTH BIRTHDAY TO ME~! I even got the coolest gift from the coolest sister ever; THE RED EDWARD ELRIC HOODIE! EPPP! *MAJOR FANFGIRLING*! lol and yes at 8 in the night while in bed (caz I'm sleepin early for some wierd reason) I'm wearing the coat. I even dressed just like him today; had my hair in a braid (even if its brown) with my cute bang and black pants with gloves :3 Best birthday ever! Tomorrow is the party and you all are invited :D!

Wow the new arc... I always wanted to know what I would do with Kasai during the Arrancar arc!

Kasai's P.O.V

It feels so... good. No noise about the attack that happened a while ago, just peace and quiet.

I sigh as I sit, my feet swinging back and forth on the edge of the walk way outside of my room watching as my fellow Shinigami begin to fix the Seireitei. It's only been two months since Ichigo and his friends had returned to the World of the Living from the Bounts attack. Somehow, I miss the scowling boy.

"What are you doing, Yamamoto?" comes an annoyed voice. Looking up, I smile sheepishly at the piercing gaze of Toshiro.

"Just... relaxing." I answer him. A wind blows causing my hair to blow into my face. Closing my eyes, I reminisce the feel of the cool breeze on my skin.

My eyes snap open when I feel someone sit beside me.

"Toshiro," I say in surprise and then smirk. "If you wanted to laze around with me, all you had to do was ask."

"Shut up." he grunts out, before looking at me. "When are you leaving anyway?"

"What? Can't wait to get rid of me?" I glare at him when he mutters something close to 'You have no idea'. "I leave in the morning."

He stays silent, letting his gaze return to the view of the sun setting. Sighing, I also look back to the receding sun.

"Be careful." I jump at the sudden sound of his voice, but not that it just startled me. It was soft, almost a whisper. Looking over, I see he has vanished.

"Have I ever not been careful?" I whisper to the vacated seat beside me.

With my arms wrapped around me, I find myself wandering the Seireitei.

"How long do I have to stay in the Living World?"

"Until Rukia gets better. You can do this for her, right?"

I sigh and look up at the half moon above me, biting my lip.

"Right now, Jushie, I think I might just not be right to fit that job." My voice is soft, but loud enough in the silent night.

After my little wandering spree, I find myself back in Squad Ten's barracks heading to my room. Toshiro had given me the day off from work- which Rangiku was jealous of. Somehow, I stop in front of his door to his own quarters.

Ever since his incident, I've been stopping right at his door just staring at it. Not entering it or anything, just staring at the wooden door that leads to his very clean and organized room. Not feeling his spiritual pressure sends my heart racing and quickly I try to find it.

I almost collapse in relief finding it in the direction of the office.

"Kasai?" Turning around, I find a very confused Daimon staring at me. "What are you doing-"

"Oh Daimon! I've been looking all over for you!" As usual as I latch onto his arm, the Sixth seat's face begins to turn red. "Do you have a fever or something?"

A loud laugh behind me makes me spin around to glare at the culprit.

"Third Seat Usui," comes Daimon's stunned voice. I just continue to glare at the blonde haired idiot.

"Well, I never thought you could be more thick headed than you really are, Kasai." A growl comes from me as I lunge at Takumi, who just easily dodges. "You're cute when you're angry, you know."

"Oh yeah? Well I'm just about to get even more cuter." I snarl and lunge once more at him, this time I catch him off guard and I land on top of him. A smug grin splits across my face. "Got you."

"Kasai you dog. I didn't think you were that type of girl. But I don't mind doing it right here." It's his turn to smug as my face becomes red.

"Usui!" I yell and begin to strangle him.

"K-kasai, I-I-"

"Not now, Daimon. I 'm going to kill this pervert!"

"Would you kill him somewhere else rather in front of my quarters, Yamamoto?" comes an annoyed voice. "You'll get blood all over my only way in or out of it."

Grumbling, I get to my feet and begin to walk away, not even looking at Toshiro. "I'm going to bed. Got a busy assignment to get on with, see you guys later."

Ichigo's P.O.V (Two days after that)

I'm going to kill that man sooner or later.

Grumbling, I rub the back of sore neck and slide the door to my class open. Thanks to a certain dad I was an hour late and arrived during break time. I seriously will kill him if he doesn't stop all those violent greetings. I mean who kicks their son awake and then unleashes punches like crazy while they just got up.

I mean really?

"Ichigo~!" As usual, I let my right hand connect with the idiotic Keigo as he comes sprinting towards me. And like usual, he ends up on the floor.

"Morning, Ichigo." I look up and the scowl on my face softens slightly at the distracted expression on Mizuiro's face as he texts away on the ever present phone in his hands.

"Morning, Mizuiro. What did I-"

"Ichii-nee!" comes a familiar voice. A flash of orange is my only warning before I land on the floor. Ignoring the pain coming from my back and head, I stare up at the person who had landed on top of me.

There straddling me with a big grin and shoulder length familiar orange hair and bright golden eyes is-

"K-kasai? What are you doing here?" I asked, confusedly. Said girl's grin widens.

"I'm attending school with you, silly!"

"No fair! How comes Ichigo gets straddled by the new hot transfer student and not me?!" comes Keigo's voice behind us.

"I believe it's because you're just not 'hot girl's' type." replies a calm Mizuiro.

Realizing my predicament, my face becomes bright red which I notice makes Kasai giggle.

"G-get off of me!" I quickly shrug her off and get to my feet. Kasai pouts up at me.

"Aw, Ichii-nee. Didn't you miss me at all?" I scowl down at her but she gets up. I notice that she's wearing the female uniform which consists of pleated skirt and white shirt- which was not tucked in- with thigh high black socks and shoes.

She looks so... normal like this.

"Ichigo, stop staring at Yamamoto-san and explain why you know her." I don't have to look up to see Tatsuki has appeared beside Kasai.

"It's 'cause I'm his cousin!" Kasai exclaims smiling at Tatsuki. "And call me Kasai, Tatsuki-chan."

My mouth drops open but I quickly shut it as Orihime, Chad and Uryuu appear joining our little group gathering.

There is a collective of WHATS from Keigo, Tatsuki and half the class who were listening in. Kasai vigorously nods her head and from the look Uryuu was giving her, I get the feeling he already knew about this 'plan' Kasai had come up with along with Orihime and Chad since they didn't seem surprised at all.

"Well they do have the same shade of hair..." Tatsuki grumbles, not looking convinced entirely but before the karate champion can say anything, the bell goes signaling break was over. Everyone quickly got to their seats but I quickly grab the back of Kasai's shirt and whispered into her ear.

"We'll talk later. And please let this just be some Soul Reaper check up and not some full blown mission."

Wah-la!

For some reason I didn't like how this chappie came out :/ Anyway... FULLMETAL ALCHEMIST MARATHON`! :3 I just love my new signed coat which was signed by THE Vic Mignogna. Okay now I'm bragging but I can't help it!
