School Worries

Parvati looked down nervously at the book in her lap, her eyes stared blankly at the page. Her stomach did flip flops as her mind ran over the worse case situation, even through both she and her sister were excited and happy about going to Hogwarts...the unasked question hung heavily in the air.

What if they got sorted into different houses? Would they still be able to be friends? Would they be able to talk to each other at school? Would her twin sister suddenly hate her because of them being in different houses.

Feeling her fear getting the best of her Parvati closed her book causing a soft clapping sound to be heard as the book closed. Taking a deep breath and closing her eyes Parvati tried to think of every good thing that would come from them getting sorted into different houses.

'We will have some alone time, we won't be breathing down each other's necks, we will be able to get to know people from two houses' Parvati thought as she tried to calm herself down 'Besides no matter what happens nothing between us will change, it might help us to grow and learn.'

Reaching down into her top Parvati pulled out the crown shape necklace that both her and her sister wore. Even though it was only very simple made of wood and on a black thick cord it meant the world to Parvati, her father had given both of his daughters one a few years ago claiming that he saw both of them as his precious princesses and they now had their very own crown. Whenever she needed any reassurance Parvati always pulled the necklace out and looked at it, whenever she saw her crown necklace she knew she was loved.

'That's right...both my sister and my parents love me so I have nothing to worry about' Parvati thought as all panic leaved her and a relaxed smile came to her face 'Even if we did end up being sorted into different houses we are sisters, twins, and nothing will stop us from loving each other.'

Feeling better Parvati turned back to her book, Hogwarts a History, with a much more confident and calmer expression she continued reading. It seemed that things were not as bad or as scary as she had first thought.
