A/N: hellooooo. I'm not sure how much longer this fic is going to go on, but thank you to all of you for sticking with me and reading it as long as you have c: 121 follows is crazy, I'm so happy. I'm dedicating this chapter (and basically this whole story) to Karla because she is the reason I wrote it, and even though we don't talk much anymore, ily forever.

Scorpius awoke to the smell of bacon and eggs and clanging dishes. He sat up, surprised to not find Albus in bed with him. A moment later, he realized why when he saw Albus setting a table full of breakfast. Scorpius grinned.

"Good morning, handsome." Scorpius said his voice still thick with sleep. "What's all this?"

"You slept for a really long time, so I went ahead and stole us some breakfast. I figured we could eat in here."

Scorpius stretched, looking for his clothes. Once he was dressed, he went to go sit beside Al. He winced as he sat down, but tried to brush it off. Unfortunately, Albus still noticed.

"Are you hurt?" Albus asked, going pale.

"No, I'm fine. Just a little, uh, sore, I guess." Scorpius blushed again. Albus nodded, but continued to look at the other man, worry filling his eyes. Scorpius tried to change the subject to something that would put Albus at ease.

"So, what did Louis decide about that Chance guy?" He asked.

Albus launched into a story about the woes of Louis' love life and they both began to relax.

Soon, all the food was gone, and both boys were full. Albus glanced at his watch, and gasped. "Oh shit, I have Quidditch practice. I'll see you later, alright?" Scorpius nodded, and Albus gave him a quick kiss goodbye before running off.

Scorpius was on his way back to his dormitory when he noticed James walking in his direction, but it was too late to run away. Scorpius gritted his teeth, wondering why he had to see the other man, today of all days.

Scorpius pasted a smile on his face, finding it best to be polite to the other man in most situations and then make a quick excuse to leave.

"So, I hear my brother stayed at your house over the break." James said, his voice stiff.

"Who'd you hear that from?" Scorpius asked.

"Lily. She has a huge mouth." James took a step closer to Scorpius. "I also heard you and Albus are dating now."

"Uh, yeah, we are. For a couple of months now." Scorpius said, looking for a way out of the situation. It obviously wasn't going to end well, and Scorpius really didn't want to deal with this shit right now.

"I thought we had a thing." James sounded like he was actually hurt.

"Well, I'm sorry that you misunderstood that. I need to get back to my dorm now, I have someone waiting on me." Scorpius quickly stepped around James, and lost himself in a crowd of students walking by.

He's so fucking delusional Scorpius thought to himself, shaking his head. He hoped that now that he had made it clear that he was with Albus that James would stop pursuing him, but he doubted that that would actually happen.

By the time Scorpius finally got back to the Slytherin common room, he was so sick at the thought of James' pursuing him that he had to sit down. Ella noticed him come in and came to sit beside him.

"What the hell is wrong? You look like you just drank some spoiled milk."

Scorpius quickly told Ella about his most recent encounter with James, and by the time he was done, she looked almost as disgusted as him.

"I don't get why he's so possessive over you. It's not like you ever showed any interest in him. Or really in anybody before Albus came around." Ella teased. Scorpius frowned, not really in the mood. "Okay, sorry. But James' sounds bloody bonkers and you need to tell Al."

Scorpius shook his head. He had already considered that. "It would ruin their relationship and I don't want to be the one to break apart a family like that."

"Then what are you going to do?" Ella asked.

"Avoid him like hell until he graduates." Scorpius said simply.

She frowned. It was a pretty half-ass plan in her opinion but hopefully Scorpius would realize that.

"Wait a second. Where were you coming from? I didn't see you after dinner, and I didn't see you at breakfast. What happened last night?" Ella asked.

The blonde blushed and told Ella the whole story about their night, leaving out the more intimate details.

"Damn. That boy really loves you." Scorpius blushed. "I'm glad you guys found each other." Ella said with a smile.

"Me too." Scorpius grinned.
