25. Chapter 25

Yea, yea, I know I haven't updated in a LOOOOOOOOONG time. I'm sorry. Now, I finally have an idea of what I'm gonna write, special thanks to NarutoSwag99. I'm sorry to have you wait so long, but here it is: Chapter 25. (dramatic music in the background.)

Chapter 25

Chihiro sighed. After a long effort, they finally finished getting ready for Lin's birthday party.

"Chihiro!" Jinsei called out. "The potion should be wearing off soon. Why don't you wake up Lin from her beauty sleep?"

She nodded. "Ok," she agreed happily, skipping down the stairs to get Lin, who was currently sleeping peacefully in her room.

~And then Chihiro saw that Lin was still sleeping, and waited for her to wake up…~

Lin groaned. Rubbing the sleep from her eyes, she stood up. Looking around, she realized that everyone had already went to work. Shoot, she thought. The old hag of a witch is gonna be angry.

"You're finally awake, huh?" someone said, interrupting Lin's thoughts.

Lin looked at Chihiro in surprise, and then hardened. "Chihiro..." she growled.

"Look, I'm really sorry. Wanna talk at the balcony?" she asked.

Lin narrowed her eyes at Chihiro in suspicion. "What are you planning?"

"Nothing. I just wanna talk to my best friend."

Lin snorted. "Not your best friend anymore."

Chihiro sighed, and sat on the balcony. "At least you can stay here and tell Yubaba that you got sick or something. If you go to work this late, you'll have no excuse. I'll tell her that you really were sick." She glanced at Lin. "Coming or not?"

Lin sighed. "Only because of that old hag."

Chihiro smiled. "Yeah," she said. "Look: I'm really sorry for hurting you. Can we be BFF's again?"

Lin sighed. "I don't know. Can we?"

"Look: if you want..." Chihiro took a deep breath. "I'll let you have him."

Lin stared at her, wide-eyed with disbelief. "You... Would do that for me?"

Chihiro smiled. "Never let a guy ruin your friendship," she quoted.

Lin smiled, and hugged Chihiro tightly. "You're my best friend EVER!" she squealed, and tears of happiness formed in her eyes. "I'm so, so, so, so, SO sorry for getting Haku in our friendship. I'll always be your best friend!"

Chihiro smiled. "It's ok. As long as we can be friends again," she said, hugging Lin back.

And so, they become best friends once again. YAY! XD
