Chapter 25:
Construction Triangle

Fawful and Midbus followed silently behind the magical jester as he casually lead them through the layouts of the Ancient Ruins. As they walk, they curiously look around and examine the sculpture of the building. Although some of them were crumbling and looked ready to fall into pieces, most of the Ruins were still intact and could probably last another thousand years.
The most stable sculpture was in the very center where a rather small temple lay stationary. Dimentio lead them straight there, not even caring for the rest of the Ruins. It didn't take them long before they were standing in front of that temple.
They walked through the opening and were met by a large fleet of stairs. As soon as their presences were made, large magical crystals automatically lit up and providing a light source down the stairway.
Without much of a word, Dimentio started his way down the passage with Fawful and Midbus once again following behind him. The trip down the stairs was long and silent. The only sound made was the sound of their footsteps.
When they made it to the bottom, they soon had to cross a long hallway. At the end of that hallway, a large double door stood tall. It was 50 feet wide and three times as tall.
"There…Behind this door is what we been searching for." Dimentio
Midbus grunt loudly as he opens one of the double large doors. Once it was open, he and the others enter inside. As soon as they entered, dozens more of those magical crystals lit up the room, providing some much need light in from the darkness.
The whole room was large and had the appearance of an altar. Mounted on the walls were the magical crystals. In the center of the room's floor, there was a circle with a triangle in the center. Dimentio flew further inside the altar room and examine everything. He smiled all too evilly.
"This is it…The Triangle of Construction…the very thing that can make my dream came true."
Fawful kneed down in front of the pavement. He really couldn't see anything special about it. To him, it was just markings on the floor. He stood up and turned to the jester.
"Should we be beginning?"
The jester turned to him, his everlasting smile looking bigger than usual.
"Yes, we should."
Dimentio flew to one side of the triangle. "Using the Triangle of Construct is fairly easily; it will only take four simple steps."
He flew to the center of the triangle where a small stone pillar stood. He took out two specters; the same specters he had Mr. L retrieved from Bowser's advisors.
"First, we provide the power source."
He land in front of the pillar and placed the specters inside an opening. Once place, he flew back in the air.
"Second, we must place the three Items of Creation in their correct positions."
He flew to the bottom left point of the triangle. He pulls out the Crystal of Dreams and places it there. He did the same thing at the bottom right point with the Gem of Form and places the Reality Glass at the very top. Once the three Artifacts were in place, Dimentio examined their positions.
"Third, we must activate the Triangle."
He stood in the front of the Triangle and pull out the Book of Spells. He book marked the page he needed and simply flip out to that. In a language that only a few in the world would know, he chanted the spell. The pillar in the center shifted. An invisible seal appeared around the specters as the pillar disappeared into the floor pattern. Fawful and Midbus watched with in amusement as the marking on the floor begin to glow.
"And lastly, we let the Triangle do what it was created to do."
The Crystal of Dreams shine beautifully as it display an image in the triangle center of a black heart; the Chaos Heart, the thing that Dimentio most desire. Once the image was up, the Gem of Form started to glow as well. Without warning, it shot a beam at the Chaos Heart image as it slowly started to take a solid form.
"It wouldn't be too long now. Soon, the Chaos Heart will be reborn and I will once again take possession of it." Dimentio
"Not for long you're not,"
Dimentio growled and spun around. The Heroes were here; ready to put an end to him and his evil ways.

Ending Note:
This chapter is slightly longer but still considered short unfortunately. But another chapter will be posted up by the end of the week and this time, it will be longer.
