Bella's Point of View

"Again, Bella," Emmett insisted. "I'm going to win this thing if it's the last thing I do."

I rolled my eyes, springing away from Emmett who was persistently after me. "Leave me alone, Em. Just because you lost . . . oh, I don't know, twelve times, doesn't mean I'm going to have endless rematches with you. Give up already!"

Emmett jabbed a finger in my direction. "It's just luck, Bells. You're too tame to be a vampire. I swear I'll win this time."

"Em," I sighed, exasperated. "We'll arm-wrestle again next September, okay?"

I had to admit though, my brother had determination.
