Hey everybody. Missed me? Well good news, one of my stories is now completed so you can expect some more frequent updates with this fic. Now lets get on with it.
Chapter 25
Elsa's mind began to stir, she felt her head start to clear as she slowly woke up, her eyelids still felt quite heavy. She tried to remember what happened; she recalled defending herself against Rahzar and Fishface, but was shot with some kind of dart by a tiger-like mutant she had yet to see.
Elsa tried to feel her limbs we're sore and tried to stretch them but felt something holding them down. She looked behind her and saw her hand we're tied behind her back with rope; more rope was wrapped around her, binding her upper arms to her body, she looked down to find her ankles we're also tied together.
She was laying down on the hard stone floor and felt some stray rats crawl on her. Elsa was now fully awake and looked around, not only was she tied up but she was in some kind of cell with a barred door in front of her. Elsa tried to use her magic to break free of the ropes but felt she was unable to much to her surprise. Elsa felt something around her neck and was barley able to see a silver collar around it with some blinking red lights.
Elsa grunted as she struggled to get free of the ropes that kept her bound.
"Well looks like you're awake finally." A voice spoke out. Elsa looked in surprise to see a familiar face outside her cell.
"I gotta say, seeing you helpless like that certainly feels good." Hans stated with a sinister grin.
"Hans." Elsa said with some content evident in her voice. "So you are working with the Foot."
"Indeed I am." He said, straighten his clothes a bit. "You know, I couldn't help but recall you and I we're in a very familiar situation before. You remember right? You froze Arendelle, I brought you back and you we're locked in your own dungeon. Only this time, I'll doubt you can escape."
Elsa glared but before she could say anything a hand was placed on Hans' shoulder, Hans turned around to the mutant glaring at him.
"What do you think you're doing?" Tiger Claw asked the prince.
"Just sharing a few memories with our prisoner."
Tiger Claw glared down at the Queen. "Queen Elsa I presume."
"Who are you?" She asked
"You may call me Tiger Claw. Second in command of the Foot Clan, and one of it's deadliest warriors."
Elsa tried to struggle out of the ropes again. "What did you do to me?"
"You are wondering why you can't use your powers." Tiger Claw said. "It's simple. That collar you are wearing prevents you from accessing them. You can thank Baxter Stockman for that, as well as information from the Kraang."
"What are you going to do with me?"
"That's not for me to decide." Tiger Claw unlocked and opened the cell door and entered. "It's time for you to finally meet the master."
Elsa's heart raced, as she knew whom he meant. She gave a slight yelp as Tiger Claw picked up her bound body and carried her over his shoulder. Tiger Claw walked out of the dungeon, carrying Elsa, with Hans closely behind them.
A few minutes later Tiger Claw and Hans walked into a large room with their prisoner. Elsa looked around; she noticed a large glass roof over their heads, there was a concrete path across the floor while the rest of it was covered with glass with water underneath. She looked to her right and saw both Rahzar and Fishface leaning against the wall, smiling at her and both waving casually. She looked to her left and was slightly surprised at the sight of the large mutant rhino and the glowing humanoid warthog that both chuckled as they saw her.
She felt Tiger Claw stop and was suddenly thrown to the ground. She glared at Tiger Claw who soon kneeled to the ground and Hans gave a slight bow.
"Master, the Ice Queen as promised." Tiger Claw spoke.
"Excellent." A voice spoke out, one that sent a huge chill down her spine. She slowly turned her body so she could see. She looked up a glass staircase and saw a throne, and the one who sat in it, decorated with spiky and intimidating armor with a dark cape. But it was his eyes, even though one of them was blind, Elsa could sense the evil behind them, a look from those eyes made her loose what was left of her confidence.
Shredder slowly rose from his throne as he looked down at his prisoner. "So this is the Ice Queen I've heard so much about."
"I take it you're Shredder." Elsa said, trying to muster as much confidence in her voice as possible, trying to at least appear that she was not afraid, but it didn't seem to work.
Shredder began to slowly descend the staircase from his throne. "I'm impressed my name is so well known, even to a child such as you."
"Don't flatter yourself, I only know you because the Turtles told me about you."
"Is that so? I'm curious as to what they've said about me."
"Only that you're crazy and evil, and it's hard not to agree with them." Elsa said. "What you tried to do them, to Splinter, to Karai…"
"You would do well to not speak my daughter's name in my presence, 'your majesty'." Shredder warned as he was now on the ground standing before the bound queen.
"She's not your daughter!" Elsa told him with anger in her voice. "After what you've don to her, you have no right to call yourself her father. You killed her mother, stole her from her real father, tried to get her to kill her brothers, lied to her whole life, mutated her, brainwashed her! What kind of…"
Before she could finish, she was smacked across the face and was sent sliding across the floor; much to the amusement of Hans and the evil mutants.
Elsa slowly looked up in fear as Shredder slowly approached her. "Watch you're tone child! You may be a queen, but you have no power here." Shredder grabbed some of the rope around her and pulled her close to his helmeted face. "You can't possibly hope to understand what it is I fight for."
"The way I see it, the only thing you fight for is just to cause Splinter's family suffering."
She was thrown against the ground. "You would be wise not to test my patience child."
Before Elsa could say anything else she heard a familiar buzzing sound. She looked up to see Stockman-Fly fly down towards her. "Aw, we meet again you're majezzzty."
Elsa then felt a stinging sensation in her shoulder as Stockman-Fly put a needle there and extracted a small amount of her blood into a vile. He then looked at the blood with interest.
"Mazzzter. Thizzz blood should prove quite uzzzeful. I'll have rezzzultzzz for you in no time." Stockman-Fly then exited the throne room and to his underground lab.
"While Stockman will analyze your blood to find a way to use your powers, there is something I wish to know about you." Shredder spoke to Elsa.
"I can't give you my powers." Elsa told him, knowing it was what he was going for.
"Can't, or won't?" He impatiently asked.
"I was born with them. I don't know how or why I have them, and if I could get rid of them, don't you think I would have? For many years they've caused my family and I pain. And besides, I would never let anyone, much less you, use them for your ends." Elsa told him.
Shredder glared at her for a few moments. He turned to Hans if he knew of anything.
"Hey don't look at me, I don't know anything." He said with a shrug.
Shredder then motioned for his minions to approach him as he moved slightly away from the bound queen and the mutants all approached him.
"She speaks the truth Master Shredder." Tiger Claw confirmed.
"So what do we do with her then if Stinkman can't find a solution?" Rahzar asked.
"Why not just use more of those mind control worms, they worked on Karai pretty well." Fishface recalled.
"You fool." Tiger Claw replied. "The Turtles destroyed all the worms and the formula, it will take months to make more."
"Do you have a better idea?" Rahzar questioned.
"She's a queen right?" Bebop asked. "Her kingdom's pretty big from what Hans here said. I say we hold her for ransom and make the big bucks."
Before anyone could protest, Rocksteady came up with an idea. "Wait. I'm thinking maybe toss her into mutagen soup instead."
"I love that idea G!" Bebop exclaimed agreeing with Rocksteady. "She'd make on freaky Ice Mutant."
Both mutants laughed but we're smacked and sent to the ground courtesy of Shredder.
"But Boss…" Rocksteady began
"No. We will not use Mutagen unless all other options are exhausted. She will have some use to me, has both a hostage and for information."
"Information, master?" Tiger Claw asked
"She's been with the Turtles and Hamato Yoshi for quite some time, maybe enough for them to tell her some secrets."
"Good point." Rahzar agreed.
"In the meantime; Steranko! Zeck!" Shredder called as Bebop and Rocksteady quickly got back up. "I sense the Turtles may soon make a move to rescue her; double security! No one leaves or enters the building without my knowledge."
Shredder then turned around and slowly walked towards the frightened Elsa. Meanwhile, Hans was able to glance toward Fishface and Rahzar who glanced back towards him. He smiled and gave a slight wink to him; Rahzar nodded back in understanding. The two mutants turned to each other and looked with a smile.
Shredder looked down onto Elsa. "Well, you're majesty. Perhaps it's time we get to know each other, personally."
Foot Base, Arendelle Mountains
Two of the several Foot Bots had just ventured outside to the mouth of the cave that severed as their temporary base where night had fallen.
One of the Foot Bots was suddenly pulled into a nearby bush. When the second one looked towards the bush it noticed the head of its fellow robot roll out. Before it could react a katana blade was pierced through its chest from the back.
Inside the cave, the six remaining Foot Bots continued to walk and patrol around the equipment; however, they failed to notice several shaded figures quietly zoom past them without making a single sound.
One of the bots was quickly decapitated; another was struck by multiple shurikens. A third bot was quickly impaled. The fourth and fifth one we're engulfed in a sudden poof of purple smoke and pulled into down to the ground. The last one soon found itself backing up before backing into something, or rather someone, it looked up only to find a blade quickly sliced through it before falling in half down the middle.
"Is that all of them?" Splinter asked as Leo, Karai, Donnie, and Mikey finished up.
"Yep, that's all of them." Karai confirmed.
"Alright Donnie." Leo began
"I'm on it." Donnie replied as he went to a computer console and began working on opening a portal.
Anna, Kristof, Olaf, and Sven came running in soon after.
"Come on, what are waiting for? Let's go!" Anna impatiently urged.
"Hold you're horses princess." Karai commented. "We're working on it."
"Well, work faster!"
"Yelling isn't helping!" Donnie yelled.
"Don't worry, we're gonna get Elsa back. I promise." Leo told Anna.
"I'm sorry it's just…" Anna began, but looked down feeling a great sense of guilt. Kristof put his hand on her shoulder.
"There was nothing you could have done." Kristof told her.
"I could have tried to help her at least."
"You would have been captured as well, if not killed." Splinter began. "You cannot change what has happened. Rest assured, no one here has any intention on leaving your elder sister in Shredder's hands."
Anna exhaled deeply, she knew they we're right.
"I got it!" Donnie shouted as he finished typing and a large pink-triangular-portal opened up; startling Kristof and Anna a bit.
"Oooh. Pretty." Olaf said as he looked at it with large eyes.
Leo took out his T-Phone. "Raph, we got it open, bring in the Shellraiser."
After that was said, headlights shined from the entrance of the cave, illuminating the whole interior. The Shellraiser slowly came rolling in before stopping just shy of the portal. The door opened and Raph stuck his head out.
"Alright, everyone inside." Raph called to the others as the heroes all came inside the Shellraiser. Once everyone was in, the door closed, and the Shellraiser entered the portal.
One Hour Later
The heroes had arrived in the nighttime of New York City. The Shellraiser made a small pit stop at the lair to drop of Splinter, Sven, Karai, and Olaf. Now the Shellraiser was parked just outside the cathedral that served as the hideout of the Foot Clan. The vehicle was now cloaked to prevent people from seeing it.
The Turtles, Kristof, and Anna quietly exited and all looked up at the building.
"So that's Shredder's lair huh?" Kristof asked.
"That's it alright." Raph replied.
"You're sure Elsa's in there?" Anna asked.
"Absolutely." Leo replied. "Donnie start scanning for the number of Foot Bots in there."
"Already on it." Donnie replied as he took out a scanner and got to work.
"So we're not going in there?" Kristof questioned.
"Not yet." Leo replied. "I mean it's not like we can just climb in."
"Says who?"
They all turned to the wall and each had looks that silently said 'really'.
"Anna, what are you doing?" Kristof asked nonchallantley.
"I'm going to rescue, my sister." Anna said as she struggled to literally climb up the brick wall.
"You're stubbornness is gonna get you killed one day, you know that?" Raph told her.
"Seriously Anna, even I wouldn't do that." Mikey agreed.
Anna tried to put her foot in a certain spot. "I wouldn't put your foot there." Donnie told her as her foot slipped.
"You're distracting me!" Anna said as she tried to put her other foot in another groove in the wall.
"Or there." Leo told her as her other foot slipped as well.
"Do you even have a plan if you do somehow get in there?" Raph questioned. "What if you run into the Foot? Or some mutants? Or what about Shredder? Have you thought of a plan if you run into him?"
"Okay, I'm just gonna block you guys out, cause I gotta concentrate here." Anna stubbornly said as she continued to struggle climbing.
Even Mikey sighed at that.
"Anna, these guys have fought Shredder before. I'm sure they know what to do in this type of situation." Kristof told her.
"And besides, if it we're that easy to break into his lair, don't you think we would have done it already?" Donnie added.
Anna took a moment to stop climbing and take a breath. "Please tell me I'm almost there."
"You're not even ten feet off the ground." Raph responded, as she didn't make any progress at all.
"Anna. I promise we will get your sister back. But we need a plan. You can't rush into these things, especially when it involves Shredder." Leo told her.
Anna sighed as she knew they we're right. She then climbed down. "Okay. So what do we do know?"
The heroes all got back in the Shellraiser.
"For now, we're heading back to the lair." Leo said as he got in the driver's seat. "Splinter called for back-up, we're gonna meet them there soon."
"Back-up?" Kristof asked
"Some friends of ours, you'll meet them soon enough." Donnie answered as the Shellraiser drove away from Shredder's lair.
Turtles' Lair
The Shellraiser had now parked outside the entranceway to the lair and the heroes all exited and went inside the lair. Anna and Kristof took a moment to observe their friends' home.
"Wow." Anna spoke out. "This is where you guys live?"
"Yep. Home sweet home." Mikey said as he jumped onto the tire-swing.
"Not bad, not bad at all." Kristof admitted.
"I like it, it's very homey." Anna said as well with a slight smile.
"It's super great!" Olaf yelled as he ran from the kitchen, with Sven close behind him. "Hey Anna! Kristof! Look! I made a new friend!"
Olaf then revealed Ice-Cream-Kitty, whom he was holding in his arms; which gave a friendly meow to the two, who we're slightly startled.
"Uh, is that a… cat?" Anna asked.
"Ice-Cream-Kitty." Mikey replied as he swooped the mutant cat into his grip, which licked Mikey's face, "Don't worry. She doesn't bite."
Anna slowly came to the mutant cat and tried to pet her, but she immediately licked Anna's face causing her to giggle a bit. "It's kinda chilly. She's pretty cute" Anna said as she and Kristof began to scratch Ice-Cream-Kitty behind the ears, who purred in response.
Karai then walked onto the scene. "Hey. What's the situation with Shredder's lair."
"Pretty bad." Donnie replied as he took out his scanner. "There's almost a hundred Foot Bots inside, way too many for all of us to handle."
"That's why we got back up bra." Mikey replied.
"So when are they getting here?" Kristof asked.
"We just did."
Anna and Kristof both turned around to the entrance of the lair and we're shocked at what they saw; a giant blue-skinned turtle with a large spiked shell, a black mask, and a black belt with an S on it.
"Slash!" Raph greeted "Hey man!"
"Raphael." Slash greeted back as the two fist bumped. "Good to see you again brother."
"Another turtle!?" Kristof exclaimed.
"A much bigger, meaner looking turtle." Anna added, slightly nervous.
"Don't worry he's a friend." Leo assured. "Meet Slash."
"Slash huh?" Anna asked. "Doesn't sound very nice."
"It's cool you can trust him." Mikey said. "And his team."
"His team?" Kristof wondered.
As soon as he said that, they saw a giant humanoid alligator walk in, who gave a loud roar; followed by a hovering monkey with a silver helmet and gauntlets; and finally a humanoid pigeon with an army helmet.
To say the two we're surprised was an understatement.
"Anna, Kristof; meet our back-up." Leo introduced. "A mutant fighting force dedicated to fighting the forces of evil; the Mighty Mutanimals."
"Leatherhead!" Mikey yelled as he embraced the giant alligator, who smiled down on the little turtle.
"It's good to see you to my friend." Leatherhead greeted back.
Mikey then turned around to the slightly scared princess. "Anna, this Leatherhead; Leatherhead, Anna."
"Um, hi?" Anna said with a slight wave.
Leatherhead approached her and looked down. Oddly, this mutant's towering form wasn't too intimidating to the princess. She looked into his eyes and saw a gentle soul inside.
"Hello there." Leatherhead greeted with a smile as he carefully patted her back, earning a smile from the princess.
Kristof soon found himself looking at the hovering monkey picking insects off his arm.
"And what, dear boy, are you staring at?" the monkey asked.
"I'm sorry, it's just… first time seeing a flying monkey."
Said monkey closed in on his face a bit. "Ah yes. The results of experimenting with mutagen; I was lucky enough that my vast intelligence still remains unaffected to this day." He said with eyes slightly bulging out.
Donnie approached the two. "Kristof, this is Doctor Rockwell; he's the brains of the Mutanimals."
"So he's like you?" Kristof asked Donnie.
"Well yes." Rockwell answered for Donnie. "That is if you don't count the fact that warm-blooded mammals are more intelligent than cold-blooded reptiles." Rockwell cracked a bit, earning a bit of a glare from Donnie.
"And a superiority complex to boot." Donnie explained to Kristof.
"And now, meet the final member of the Mutanimals!" The humanoid pigeon spoke up as he stood triumphantly in the center of the room. "Pigeon Pete!"
"Aka, the world's most useless mutant." Raph said.
"Hey!" Pete replied. He soon came close to Kristof and Anna. "I'm a lot tougher than he thinks. I'm the team spy."
Olaf then walked up to the team of mutants. "Hi everyone! I'm Olaf! And I like warm hugs!"
"Ooh! I like hugs too!" Pete exclaimed as he flew and embraced the snowman, who embraced back.
"Well at least he's got a friend now." Raph commented.
"Are you talking about Olaf or Pete?" Karai asked
"Both."
"My word. Is that a talking snowman?" Rockwell wondered as he witnessed the creature.
"Weirdest mutant I've seen." Slash said.
"Eh, it's not a mutant." Leo responded, getting the attention of the Mutanimals. "It's a long story, you guys might wanna sit down."
It took about twenty minutes for the Turtles to explain the situation to the Mutanimals as they all sat down in the living area near the TV.
"Okay let me get this straight." Slash began. "During a fight with the Kraang, you accidentally got zapped to another world and ended up in this kingdom called Arendelle."
"Yep." Leo replied.
"Where you learned this kingdom's queen is a young woman with incredible cyrokentic abilities; such as creating ice fortresses, eternal winters, and making living snow beings." Rockwell said.
"Uh, huh." Donnie responded with a nod.
"Shredder was somehow able to follow you. He found out about this Queen Elsa, and his forces we're able to kidnap her to gain her powers." Leatherhead said.
"That's right." Mikey responded.
"And now you guys need our help to rescue her, right?" Pete asked.
"Pretty much." Raph replied with a shrug.
"So, will guys help us? Will you please help my sister?" Anna asked hopefully.
Slash gave a smile, as did the rest of the Mutanimals. "Do you even have to ask?"
"Thank you." Anna replied with a grateful smile.
Slash then turned to Leo. "So, what's the plan?"
Leo, Raph, Karai, Slash, Splinter, and Anna we're then in the kitchen as Slash laid out a map of the city in front of all of them.
"Alright. Even though we took down the Kraang, we still managed to locate a few small bases that some surviving Kraang have taken." He pointed to a warehouse on the map that had a large black circle drawn on it. "This right here is the main one."
"How's attacking the Kraang gonna help?" Anna asked.
"The Kraang and the Foot have formed an alliance some time back, and it remains in affect to this day." Splinter explained.
"If we can access the Kraang's communications; Rockwell can send out a distress call to lure most of the Foot away from their lair." Karai explained as well.
"Alright. So the Mutanimals will attack the Kraang base and lure most of the Foot away." Leo explained. "While they're out; Karai, Raph, Mikey, Donnie, and I will sneak in through the sewers, we'll find Elsa and get out."
"What about Shredder?" Raph asked.
"We avoid him at all costs; this is strictly a rescue-op. Stealth only." Leo answered
"Hey what about me? What am I gonna do?" Anna asked.
"Anna, you're staying back with Kristof and Splinter." Leo told her.
"What!?" Anna yelled. "No! I'm going with you guys!"
"No you are not!" Karai told her.
"Absolutely not!" Splinter said as well.
"My sister's in there." Anna tried.
"We know." Leo replied. "And we'll get her out, but your safer if you stay here."
"Why can't I go with you?" Anna asked.
"One; you can't fight." Raph began. "Two; you have no stealth skills. And three; you have no clue how to use a weapon."
"What? Of course I can use a weapon." Anna looked around and found a pair of nunchucks that Mikey accidentally left on the counter. She took it and tried to swing it like Mikey does, but she accidentally extended the chain and she soon found herself tied up in it. She fell to the floor; Anna looked up and gave a smile and a nervous laugh.
Karai, Raph and Slash all face palmed at that.
Anna managed to untie herself. "Okay that's just one thing…"
"The answer is no." Raph told her as he got in her face. "If we do this, there's also a strong chance we run into Shredder. And you wouldn't stand a chance. I mean not even the slightest chance; the slightest, tiniest, ityiest, bityiest…"
"I GET IT!" Anna exclaimed
"Anna, you're not coming. That's final." Leo told her. "Alright mutants, lets head out."
They all left the kitchen, leaving Anna alone as she placed her hands on the counter. She breathed deeply. She knew that they didn't want her getting hurt and they knew what they we're doing; but Anna wasn't the one who often listens.
"Sorry guys. I know you mean well, but I have to follow my gut on this one."
Done. I'm sure you guys can guess what Anna's planning on doing. What does Shredder have in store for Elsa; will the Turtles and Mutanimals be able to save her? Find out next time, on Frozen Turtles.
