After they won the Giant War Annabeth couldn't take all the horrible memories. She forced herself to leave Percy. It hit Percy so hard. They moved on with there life finished high school, graduated college, and became working adults. But when Annabeth starts to regret her decision things get complicated. Will it work out? Well, after all happily ever-after doesn't exist.

Percy POV:

I wake up clutching my chest and breathing heavy. I look at the clock on my nightstand and it reads, 2:56. I can't go back to sleep so I make my way into the kitchen and grab my cell phone. I dial Annabeth's number and hope she will answer. "Hello?" she says her voice heavy with sleep. "Annabeth...do you remember prom night?" I say my heart beating faster.

"Of course, Percy." she replies. I then can't speak. "Percy, what's wrong?" "I- I just wanted to say thats thats the second biggest regret I have ever had." "At three A.M.? Percy, I have told you so many times that I have forgiven you. Why all the sudden are you apologizing? And what is your biggest regret?" "Letting you get away from me...And I am sorry about the three A.M. Part but I just...I go back to that night all the time in my dreams." "Percy...it will never happen again." Annabeth says. "I love you, Wise Girl." I tell her. "Love you too, Seaweed Brain." she says hanging up the phone.
