10, The Trip - part 2
( .:Twinkle, twinkle, little bat,
How I wonder what you're at,
Up above the world you fly,
Like a tea tray in the sky:. )

Sakura turned her hands and moved her fingers around, then moved her hands through the air and was amazed at how warm it felt. "Did you turn the heater on?"

"No, you just turned your own heater on." Suddenly, Sasori's arms encircled her and he pulled her back towards him. She laughed and told him to quit, but he wouldn't let go so she just resigned herself in his hold.

"I'm so hot," she moaned. "Why are you holding me again? It's not helping."

He blew in her hair, making her giggle. "Then get your sweatshirt off." He didn't wait for a response and proceeded pulling down the zipper of her sweatshirt, and pulled the garment off her shoulders only to throw it on the floor. He wrapped his arms around her frame again, pulling her tight against him. "Better?"

"Much," she sighed, and nestled herself against his form. Or tried to, because she couldn't get entirely comfortable.

"Here," he said and let go of her. His pillow was propped up against the wall, the knife underneath it was put on the nightstand and he motioned for Sakura to come sit between his legs, which she did. There he wrapped his arms around her again.

"This is even better," she mumbled, enjoying the warmth from his chest against her back and the feel of his arms around her body, even though she felt so warm already. Relaxing in his hold, she felt herself become strangely heavy… but also felt very secure. He was there, and she was with him, and everything was okay.

She felt oddly at ease, considering she'd had such questionable thoughts about him before. But then… she couldn't quite remember why she'd been thinking those things, and she was sure that whatever it was, she had been wrong anyway. Sasori was a decent guy, she knew that. She could feel it. She was sure of it. Because it was not possible that someone she felt so good with, could be someone awful.

That made perfect sense to her.

And suddenly she had the urge to tell him, because she felt a little guilty over having thought so little of him when he made her feel so good. "Sasori, I forgot what we were talking about," she started, craning her neck to look at him.

"That's okay."

"But I want you to know that I really… I really like this, being here, and with you. You're a great person. I mean that." She turned some more and placed one hand on his shoulder. He was watching her with something of surprise. "I was crying a lot, but now I'm all better. And you made me all better, you did this… this drug thing. And it works and I feel great! So thank you."

Sasori began to chuckle at her sudden gesture of appreciation. "Well thanks, and you're welcome I guess. Not that I… Well, no. Look, I'm happy you feel great. That's what I want, I don't like crying girls."

Sakura's fingers started to play with the soft fabric of his bathrobe. "Sorry for crying. Even though I really felt like crying. Why didn't the policemen give me this… what is it you gave me? Oh, that's what we were talking about!" She beamed at him, exhilarated that she remembered.

"Ah yes, the drugs."

"Wait a bit…" she spoke and shifted her body around so she could sit more comfortably again, now straddling him. "Okay, done. Speak up."

Sasori didn't think Sakura meant anything with their new position, so he decided not to say anything about it. "First, don't order me around. You should know that by now." She stuck her tongue out to him but he let it go. "You're feeling very happy, right? Comfortable too, at ease, relaxed. Not a worry in the world."

She smiled down at him and nodded. "Exactly how I feel. Is that normal?" She knew she shouldn't be feeling happy, but he'd hit the nail on the head with his words. Sasori gave her a nod in reply and Sakura couldn't help but chuckle incredulously. "My parents died a couple of hours ago and I found their corpses, and I'm laughing!"

The redhead let her have her moment, thinking back to the first time he used this particular drug himself and idly wondering if he'd been acting like this as well. He remembered the elated feeling all too well. Or maybe that was because he was currently drugged.

"I should be crying now. I really should be. I am so sad. So sad…" Sakura's voice became softer towards the end. Sasori's eyes were locked with her own and neither one of them was speaking. She was sad, she knew she was sad. But she didn't feel… anything even remotely related to that feeling. "I'm sitting on a cloud," she spoke softly. Her own words rang in her mind and she chuckled lightly. "That sounds stupid."

"I'm sure it's a bathrobe," Sasori remarked dryly and Sakura was about to give him a playful push, but he caught her hand. "Just kidding. We're high, Sakura. Really high. Up… up on a cloud."

"So high…" she murmured. Her eyes broke away from his, and her gaze wandered over the wall behind his head. She saw all sorts of specks on it that she hadn't noticed before, and for some reason it seemed really interesting.

Sasori turned to see what had drawn her attention and shook his head, looking back to watch her face again. "Interesting huh?" She nodded vaguely. "Our pupils are really big, enhancing our vision. A wider vision, too. This drug enhances all of our senses actually."

He brought his hand up, gently caressing her face and making her look back at him. "More sensitive to touch…"

His fingers glided over the shell of her ear. "Clearer sounds…"

Then he leaned forward, his nose touching hers. "More sensitive to smell…"

He moved closer, slowly pressing his lips to hers. They remained like that for a moment before Sasori pulled back. "Much better sense of taste—"

Sakura crashed her mouth down on his, kissing him passionately and wasting no time with letting her tongue beg for entry. He granted it immediately, wrapping his hands around her body and pulling her close while they hungrily explored each other's flavors.

When Sasori felt her pushing herself down on him, he instantly became acutely aware of the position they were in and he promptly pushed her off. Sakura landed on her back on the bed, letting out a frustrated sigh. "Why would you do that?" She propped herself up on her elbows.

Sasori gave her a withering stare. Or that's what he hoped it looked like, but he was probably off. "Hey, I'm not made of stone." When he saw her raise her eyebrow and shake her head, not comprehending, he sighed and pointed at his crotch. "Thank you very much." Not that he minded doing it with her at one point… But that would have to happen later on, due to some physical restrictions caused by the drug.

Sakura's face burned up and she stammered an apology. "It wasn't on purpose!" It was true, she thought to herself. But at the same time she really hadn't minded the feeling of his body pressed tightly against hers. She had already felt hot inside, but now she also had a pit inside her stomach that seemed to harbor magma. And suddenly the more she looked at the red haired guy in front of her, the hotter that pit in her stomach felt… and the more enticing he looked.

As he watched her stare at him with big, dark eyes and a flushed face before abruptly tearing her gaze away, Sasori had to chuckle. She was so into him it wasn't even funny. But fuck that, he was laughing anyway.

"Stop that," she complained with red cheeks, sitting up. Sasori patted the space beside him and after a moment's hesitation she crawled over to him again. She wanted to poke him in his ribs, but all she felt was the soft fabric of his bathrobe.

He pulled her against him, leaving one arm draped over her shoulders. "You're so embarrassed. I'd almost think you were a virgin." It was a real pity, because he didn't like the idea of Deidara having been the one to claim her virginity. He blinked at this thought, and wondered when he started to care.

"I am a virgin, actually. Hey, what kind of CD is this? It's all old songs. Not that I mind."

Sasori's mind went blank for a moment.

Then it went on overdrive. She was a virgin? How the hell could that be? She had slept with Deidara, he was sure of it. But on the other hand, why would she be lying? There was no need for her to lie right now, no urge to hide some ugly truth from him, since she had no experience with the psychological effects of the drug. So why would she say she was a virgin?

"Sasori, hey Sasori. What kind of CD is this?" A hand waved in front of his face.

"Oh, Chiyo's," he answered dismissively and continued lost in thoughts. The reason she said it, must have been simply because it's the truth. But that meant she hadn't slept with Deidara. Then why had she spent the entire weekend at that brat's place, and what had they been doing?

Sakura's face appeared in front of his face. "What's a Chiyo?"

"Hmm?" Sasori looked dazzled. Why had he…? "Oh, the CD, it's seventies music I got from my grandmother. Her name's Chiyo."

Her face lit up. "You have family?"

Shrugging, he replied: "Unfortunately."

"What, why? I don't have any grandpas or grandmas left. Or parents. I wish I had family."

"No, no you don't." Sasori pushed her down next to him again, out of his face, and draped his arms around her, holding her close again. "My grandma is an old hag and I wish she died sooner rather than later."

"That's so sad," Sakura whispered.

"No it's not," he denied. "I want her dead."

She leaned her head in the crook of his neck. "That's a little scary."

"Are you scared?"

A sigh escaped her lips and she smiled. "No, I'm not. I'm lusty."

Sasori frowned, wondering if he heard that right. "You're what?"

"I'm happy."

He nuzzled her hair, inhaling its nice scent. "Oh." He could have sworn he heard something else. Come to think of it. "How come you're a virgin? I thought you slept with Deidara."

The girl in his arms chuckled. "Oh yeah, that conversation at school. I thought you were just trying to get a rise out of me." She remembered how Sasori had come up to her and basically told her she was a whore because she'd slept with Deidara, which wasn't what had happened at all. "You were serious?"

"Of course I was," he mumbled in her hair.

"He wanted to," she admitted, somehow feeling it was okay to tell Sasori. "But I was scared, so I lied to him. I said I had an STD and it worked, he backed off."

Sasori snorted, lips stretched out into a grin. Of course that worked, he thought with mirth. "I'm getting more water for us." He went to the bathroom and refilled their glasses, then took a leak while he silently gazed at his dark hued eyes in the mirror. This was perhaps the one downside of this particular drug, needing to drink so much and, as result, having to go to the bathroom pretty often.

Sakura was about to go after him, but after taking two steps she stood rooted to the floor. She was wide eyed and took her surroundings in, watching in marvel as the room swayed a little. The objects in her vision were sharply defined and her attention was all over the place, going from the spider in a corner against the ceiling above his door to the light that reflected off the knife on his nightstand and everything in between. "Woah," she uttered softly.

Firm arms came around her, steadying her. "Are you alright?" came his voice from behind.

"Yeah, why wouldn't I be?" she replied.

"You looked like you were about to fall."

"Hmm… well I'm okay." She leaned against his chest and stroked the sleeves covering his arms. "You're so warm… this is nice." She was maneuvered into the bathroom where he left her to her own devices. She slowly walked back to the bed when she was done, taking deliberate steps as she placed her feet down one in front of the other. She felt incredible, almost like she was floating. Just when she reached the bed, she stopped and decided on wandering about the room, looking at anything and everything that caught her attention and seemed interesting.

Someone tugged on her hand and led her back to the bed, where she sat down between Sasori's legs again, leaning with her back against his chest and with his arms wrapped securely around her body. "I feel so heavy when I sit down." She slumped against him. "It's normal, right?"

"It's perfectly normal. You're very relaxed." He raked his fingers through her hair.

"Mmm, I wonder why that is…" She smiled when the tips of his fingers went over her scalp, the pleasant sensations causing her to voice her pleasure. "This is so... good." Shifting so she was lying on her side while leaning against him, she gripped his bathrobe and rubbed her face in the soft black fabric.

"If you were a cat, I'm sure you'd be purring right now," Sasori teased, stroking one hand over the bare skin of her arm while the other was still in her hair. He enjoyed himself, holding her close and feeling all warm and relaxed. It wasn't often that he got a chance to relax. Truly relax.

"I forgot what we were talking about before," Sakura mumbled quietly.

"That's okay," he answered just as quietly. "We're in heaven."

"…Heaven," she echoed.

"Yeah… there are no problems here. There's no outside world. There's just here and now, you and I…" He felt her relax some more in his hold, her eyes closed, and he let out a soft sigh. "How I wish this would last forever…" An impossible wish.

"How long will this last?" Sakura caught herself shamelessly hoping the effects would last for a long time. She wondered if that made her an addict in the making.

"Hmm…" Sasori's eyes searched for his alarm clock that read 03:24 in angry red light. They were about an hour in. "We've got hours upon hours left," he spoke. They were almost reaching their peak now, which meant they'd be in heaven until seven-ish at the very least, by his estimation. Then they'd have their comedown, which would also last for hours.

"But how long?" she pressed. "I mean, will we still feel like this at noon?" She wanted it to last as long as possible.

"You still want to be going hard at noon?" he asked, inwardly laughing at her eagerness. He suddenly realized he had discovered a huge trump card in getting her to cooperate with him. She would long for this feeling of happiness, long after the effects had gone… when they only remained as memories in the deep recesses of her mind.

"Going hard? That means being drugged? Or being high?"

Sasori stroked her hair and said: "Something like that. You want that?" He felt her nod furiously underneath his hand and chuckled. "I can make that happen."

"But it won't end for a long time yet, right? We've only just started."

"That's right," Sasori reassured her. "We've only just started." And it would only get better from here.

Sakura hummed and let out a deep content breath as she nestled herself closer against him. "So what are we going to do?"

A grin appeared on Sasori's face, though she didn't see it. He was such a genius for having drugged her. "Let's talk," he suggested smoothly.

"Talk about what?"

"Anything we want," he replied. "We've got all morning to enjoy ourselves, hours upon hours." He nuzzled her hair again, so his mouth was near her ear. "Let's get to know each other a little better."

Her eyelids closed over her nearly black eyes as she blinked owlishly. He wanted to get to know her? She smiled, feeling the fiery sensation from before return. "Yeah, let's talk," she responded softly, and then more animatedly continued with: "I'll ask the first question! Do you like me?" She pushed herself up off his chest to look him in his dark eyes.

Sasori chuckled, then raised a finger up to trace her lower lip. "I like you. Thought it was obvious by now."

"Yeah, you told me before," she acknowledged, "but I didn't know whether you meant it. And now I just, I feel I can ask you anything and tell you anything and you'll tell me anything and…" Oh, she realized she was rambling. Her thoughts were going so fast, it was hard to keep up. "And I like you too." His finger was still against her lip and without thinking she took the tip in her mouth.

Sasori watched her stare at him while he felt her tongue slide against his finger, a devious smile on his lips. "Careful there, remember what I said before?" She 'hmm'd against his finger. "For some reason I don't think you do," he continued and leaned forward, nudging her nose with his.

Sakura laughed, released his finger and kissed his nose. "Sorry!" She laughed again and then rapidly crawled away as he made to grab her. She rolled so she lay on her back on the bed and looked at him, not sorry at all. The grin probably gave it away.

"Little minx," Sasori said as he took hold of her ankle and pulled her a little closer, then lay down on his side beside her, leaning his elbow on the bed and resting his head in his hand. "What are you thinking?"

"I'm thinking…" she started, her dark eyes taking in every detail of his face. "I'm thinking I like you so much better like this. You're so much fun. Normally you're really frigid."

"Boo," he complained, though he knew she was right. Not that he cared, he was fine with being 'frigid'.

"What are you thinking?" she asked in return.

"I'm thinking how we should do this more often." He felt like chuckling but all he did was grin. If he chuckled, she might get suspicious. Or might be she wouldn't, considering she was at an all-time high, but the risk wasn't worth it.

Sakura nodded furiously however. "Yes, do it more often. Wait, is that good? No, it's not good, of course it's not good. Drugs are bad. No wonder people get addicted to drugs!"

Sasori raised his eyebrows as he listened to her and let her talk. A waterfall of words came tumbling out of her lips, her thoughts such an incoherent mess he couldn't keep track of it. She seemed not to notice he wasn't following her at times, but it made no matter. She was enjoying herself and it was of utmost importance she felt great, her mind free, her tongue loose, and above all: not suspicious. Meanwhile, Sasori made sure to guide the conversation where he wanted it to go. Well, he tried, because Sakura was easily sidetracked while she spilled any and every thought that was on her mind, answering Sasori's innocent questions with a tsunami of information.

"I'm talking so much," she said finally. "It doesn't even make sense. I'm sorry it doesn't make sense. Do you get what I mean?"

"Yes," he nodded. "I get what you mean. It's alright, it's normal."

"Then why aren't you talking so much?" she asked before swallowing and realizing her mouth was really dry, so she poured herself another glass of water and drank thirstily.

"I've experienced this many times before," he answered her truthfully. "I know what it's like, and it's fun seeing you open up." And it was even more fun learning all the information she had about her friends, especially that Naruto kid. His newest assignment would go a lot easier now he had Sakura spilling everything he wanted to know.

"I'm glad you don't mind." She put the glass down and looked for the alarm clock. "We've been talking so long!" It was quiet for a moment as she stared at the clock. "The CD isn't playing anymore," she noted, so she got up and walked to the radio.

A moment later Sasori heard the radio turn on and the sound of some pop song he didn't know filled the room. He rarely listened to the radio. "Softer," he called out, and the music receded to the background. "You know this song?" he asked when Sakura joined him on the bed once more.

"Yeah, it's Rihanna," she said, lying down next to him. "Ino likes her music."

"Your friend," Sasori clarified. "The one from earlier today, Goldie."

Sakura laughed. "Yes, Goldie. You remembered."

"How could I not? She was hitting on Deidara who was posing as a teacher." Immediately after he'd said it he wondered if he'd said too much. He quickly got to know the answer to that.

"Posing as a teacher?" Sakura questioned. "Reminds me, have you spoken with Deidara today?"

"Uh…" Sasori thought back to the events of that day. He'd spoken with Deidara in the afternoon. Mere moments after Sakura had left his sight the blond had appeared in a Porsche and they'd driven to Kakuzu's. "Yes I've spoken with him. Briefly."

"Did he mention anything about Ino? A blond girl?" She rolled on her side and looked down at him with her big green rimmed dark eyes.

He frowned. "Why? Haven't you spoken with him as well?"

"I have. Briefly, just like you. Before I left to visit my mom." She blinked, remembering how she'd found her mother's corpse and wondering why she felt so strangely… calm when she thought about it. "But I couldn't ask him, because it'd be a long conversation I think and maybe he'd get angry and I had to leave at that moment so I didn't have the time…"

"Just what is going on?" Sasori asked, stretching like a cat. "Tell me."

Sakura's thoughts whirled in her mind as she wondered where she should start and what she should omit from her story. She had the idea that once she'd start talking she might tell him things that would upset him. But then it dawned on her. What was the matter with her? What was the big deal? Sasori wouldn't get mad or angry. He'd been so good to her. "It's a long story."

"We've got time."

It was almost 5 in the morning and they still had many more hours to go. Besides, he was curious about what Deidara was up to and what trouble he was getting himself into. He realized he knew too little when it came to the blond. Deidara had contacts with the higher ups, he was well acquainted with undertaker Zangei, and the stunt he pulled with Sakura in Garuda district… Sasori liked it not at all. When first he met him, he thought he was dealing with a green kid. It was becoming all too apparent he had been wrong. "Ino digged him, and she and he…?" Sasori started, urging Sakura to continue.

"They went out this afternoon," she finished for him. "Tenten told me she was meeting with Ino this evening but she never showed up. Her parents didn't know where she was either. She was last seen with Deidara." Sakura watched as Sasori got up a little as well, now face to face with her. "I wonder what Deidara was doing with her."

Sasori eyed her pointedly. "Yeah, what does a guy do with a girl when he meets up with her? I wonder." His voice dripped with sarcasm. It was glaringly obvious to him the two had been fucking each other. Surely Sakura wasn't so naïve she didn't know?

"But I thought he liked me!" Sakura said, frowning as she looked him in the eyes. "I mean, he took me into his home, and he bought all these nice things for me, and he keeps kissing me—" She stopped abruptly.

Sasori stared up at her into her wide dark eyes. "When's the last time you kissed?" he questioned. Was Sakura the type of girl that toyed with multiple guys at once? He didn't think so, she seemed far too stuck up for that, with her morals and dignified attitude. He didn't take her for a promiscuous girl.

Sakura felt her cheeks heat up again after he'd posed his question. The way he stared into her eyes made her feel trapped. At once, she let herself fall down on the bed so they were now lying next to each other on their backs. Her thoughts were going rampant, and she couldn't control them. She couldn't figure out what to say that wouldn't make her seem like a bitch either. So she decided to go with honesty. Well, 'decide' is a big word, seeing that she just blurted out the truth.

"Today," she whispered. "No, yesterday I mean. Because today is Saturday. I'm sorry, I really am." She started to ramble and she knew it, but she couldn't stop herself. "I really like you, but I like Deidara as well. And Deidara started kissing me first, but then you started kissing me too, and I hated you first, but then Deidara acted so cold all of a sudden and you were being nicer, but then Deidara was being nice again, and I don't know!" Her hands covered her face. "I just thought… I'd never… and I just…" She let out a frustrated noise. What she did was wrong, she knew that. She had to make a choice.

Maybe if he'd been sober, he would've become angry. But he wasn't sober, and all Sasori managed to do was chuckle. "You wicked little girl, toying with two guys at once." He turned on his side and traced his fingers over her bare arms, trailing all the way to her fingers. "I should punish you," he said as he pried her hands off her face.

"Don't punish me. I feel stupid already, because I should've chosen you sooner," she replied when he held one hand in his. If she had to choose, the choice was clear to her now. She'd had a great day with Sasori and he was proving himself to be such a great guy. He had let her stay at his place several times now and he barely even knew her, and he answered his phone and came when she needed him.

It didn't occur to her that Sasori hadn't known she was calling and thought it had been Deidara, and she'd conveniently forgotten how Sasori had shown little enthusiasm at her staying over the past several times. The nasty remarks and glares were pushed aside, so all that remained was that he had taken her out on a date, and he had gone out of his way to make a show of kissing her in front of Ami, and he was here with her now and had taken her sorrow away. And Deidara… Deidara had spent his time with Ino, and Ino had disappeared, and she couldn't get around the fact she thought that was suspicious. And when she called, he hadn't answered. But Sasori…

He squeezed her hand and grinned when he saw the happy, genuine smile that appeared on her face as she looked at him. "You choose me?" he asked, and felt his ego swell up with pride as she nodded. "The only right choice," he murmured as he let go of her hand, pulled her close by her waist and started kissing her throat. Like hell he'd lose to that brat. "What did that blond idiot do to you," he spoke, lips moving against her skin. "Did he do this?" He slowly ran his tongue over her throat before kissing and sucking one spot.

Sakura giggled and wrapped her arms around him. He wasn't angry with her, which made her glad and undeniably happy. "Yes he did," she answered, though she couldn't remember if it was true. She rather liked the effect her words had though, because Sasori moved his lips upwards and started nibbling on her ear. "That too," she spoke softly, causing him to grunt in displeasure.

"Just what have you two been doing together?" he asked, annoyed, though it barely showed on his face when he lifted himself up a bit and looked down at her as he pressed her against him. "You said you didn't have sex." Sakura shook her head in response, but she did spend the entire weekend at the brat's place. Which begged the question: "What did you do?" How intimate had they been?

Sakura clung to him, relishing in the feeling of the warmth of his body pressed against hers. "We saw horror movies, took walks through all those parks in his neighborhood, we went to restaurants…" she spoke, vaguely remembering how nice it was, but mostly she was trying to get Sasori jealous. She couldn't tell from the look of him, so she continued on. "But mostly we just hung out at his place, watched series, played games… just had a great time in general." She offered him a coy smile.

"Oh no," he growled. "Don't you start playing coy with me." A feral grin showed on his face the instant he attacked her again. Sakura let out a delighted squeal before giggling as he started sucking on her neck. "And you… did… nothing else?" he asked between kisses. He got an affirmative noise in response. "I don't believe it for a second," he whispered in her ear. In one quick, fluid movement he straddled her beneath him and clasped her wrists to the bed. "Time to fess up," he told her in a low voice as he hovered above her.

Her cheeks felt hot, though Sakura wondered if a blush had been there the whole time during their… play session. She didn't know. The only thing she knew was that she felt lightheaded, and warm, so very warm. "Nothing, just kissing. He wouldn't touch me," she whispered.

Sasori leaned down until his mouth was next to her ear. "Do you want me to touch you?" His head lifted up again so he could stare into her eyes. It was silent for a moment before she breathlessly answered him: "Yes." After she'd said it she seemed mildly surprised with herself, but then a shy smile appeared on her face. "That can be arranged," Sasori promised her before decided to seal the deal by leaning down to kiss her. He felt her arms struggle to get free from his grasp, but he had her wrists firmly pinned to the bed as he explored her mouth, the rest of his body pressing down as he straddled her.

They both were out of breath when he got off her so they now lay side by side. Sakura glanced at the red haired boy, caught him glancing back at her and burst out in a giggling fit. Her hands came up to cover her cheeks as she glanced back at him again. "I can hardly believe we're here, doing this…"

He smiled knowingly, then sighed and stretched out while looking at the ceiling. "Still need to wait though… I hate to wait…" Sakura didn't press the matter, for which he was glad. Everything about this part was heaven, from state of mind to a sense of closeness and warmth and affection, clarity of thought, heightened senses and sensations, an all around feeling of utter and complete happiness… everything was great, except when it came to sex. He just couldn't keep it up in this state, fucking annoying.

"Alright," he stated, sitting up abruptly. "We are…" What were they going to do to distract them? He saw Sakura looking at him expectantly, then tore his gaze away to scan his room. What would Sakura enjoy doing… His eye fell on a drawer underneath the radio where he kept old useless stuff that maybe held some sentimental value to him, maybe.

Then it struck him: a movie. Wordlessly, he got up, went to the drawer, pulled it open and rummaged through what was inside. There it was. He picked up a VCR and held it gingerly in his hands. He peered over his shoulder and saw Sakura watching him intently. He could see in her eyes she was burning with questions. Grinning, he turned back to the VCR. Yes, this is good. It took a little while to turn on the video player because it had been ages since it was used for the last time. Once he got everything on and running he turned on the TV, changed it to the right channel so it connected with the video player and hopped onto the bed next to Sakura. "You're gonna love this."

"Really?" she asked. "What kind of movie is it? And it's old, I saw it's a VCR. Can't believe people still have those things."

"You'll see, you'll see…" Sasori replied, remembering to turn off the lights before returning to her side. They sat in the dark together, eyes fixed on the screen before them. The movie started with an animated opening scene under water, and Sakura read: "The land before time." According to the narrator, this movie took place long before humans and mammals existed, so that meant… "It's about dinosaurs!" Sakura looked in wonder at the images on TV that depicted little dinosaurs hatching from their eggs. The music was so dreamy, the colors so vivid, the movie was coming alive before her eyes. "I can't believe you own something so cute," she spoke softly, enraptured. Sasori wrapped his arms around her, never taking his eyes off the screen. "Shhh…"

And so they began watching. It started off happily enough, with longneck Littlefoot and his friends exploring the world, but about fifteen minutes into the movie something awful happened. A sharptooth appeared, wreaking havoc, and finally killing Littlefoot's mother. The two on the bed held their breaths as they watched how Littlefoot found his dying mother, and they listened quietly to the longneck's last words to her only child. Moments later Littlefoot was an orphan, just like the boy and girl on the bed who were deeply affected by this scene.

Sasori couldn't remember when he had last felt such powerful emotions, other than anger. He did remember why this movie was one of the few things he'd kept from his childhood. After his parents died, he used to watch The land before time, finding consolation in the last words spoken by Littlefoot's mother, and identifying with Littlefoot like only a child can. His own parents had never been home much, and when they died it was like they hadn't existed in the first place. He'd never gotten any last words. Their usual absence was simply prolonged into a long absence, and an even longer one, and then longer still… Until he realized they'd never be back at all. That little orphaned kid liked to pretend that the words Littlefoot's mother spoke, were also what his own parents would have wished for him.

Unbeknownst to him, Sakura sitting next to him shared his feelings completely. Even though she was too drugged to burst out crying, she felt strangely empty inside. Hollow, and filled with a great sense of loss. Her parents were gone, and she was alone like Littlefoot. "I'll be with you, even if you can't see me," mother had told Littlefoot. Would her own mom be with her too? Sakura wanted her to. She wanted to hear her voice again, telling her everything would be alright. She wanted her back. It wasn't fair.

The two didn't notice they were slowly inching closer to the other until they were leaning against each other. At that point Sasori decided to just wrap his arms around the girl next to him for the simple reason it felt nice to have somebody to hold, and she gladly accepted his warmth. With her face pressed against the soft fabric of his bathrobe, they continued to watch the movie with melancholy holding their hearts in a tight grip. Before long they weren't actually watching the movie anymore. Sasori was blankly staring ahead, lost in memories long since pushed aside. Sakura thought of her parents, what it had been like when she still lived at home and when there hadn't been any fighting going on yet. It seemed like such a long time ago. Far too long. Happy moments had been few and far in between for the longest time. Had her parents ever been happy with each other? Had she been the cause of all the frustration at home?

Sakura felt like she would have cried in other circumstances, but instead she felt numb and devoid of such open displays of negative emotion. She knew she felt bad, but it was more like an objective observation. In a brief moment of introspection, she realized that in the state she was in now, when she was happy, as she'd been earlier that night, she felt absolutely exhilarated. And when she was sad, there was just… nothing.

She nuzzled Sasori's bathrobe some more, as if trying to bury herself in there. This seemed to get Sasori back out of the clouds of his past. He held her against himself a little tighter, bringing one hand up to weave itself in her hair. Sakura sighed contently, feeling her numbness ebb away in his warm embrace.

The movie came to an end as they sat together. "It ended," Sakura stated the obvious after the ending credits had passed on the screen. Sasori hmm'd in reply and took a look at his alarm clock, then at the curtains hanging before the windows. Dawn was starting to creep up on the world, but the heavy curtains hid the slowly lightening sky from the view of two people cooped up in a shabby little room. Sasori blinked as a thought entered his mind. It should be about time… Yes, no need to stay stuck in the gloom of the past. It was time to move on to... happier activities. He'd waited long enough, too.

So he fell over on purpose, dragging Sakura with him so they both ended up lying on the bed instead of sitting. She was still in his arms, so he pulled her tight against him. With a hand he reached down and hiked one of Sakura's legs up, over his own. He nuzzled her hair while he made sure to keep her close. Meanwhile, Sakura couldn't remember the things she'd been thinking of before Sasori'd pulled her down to the bed with him. Being so close to him felt lovely, but when she wanted to tell him and raised her head to look him in the eyes to do so, she forgot what she wanted to say.

And then they were kissing, and soon there was nothing else but his mouth on hers, his tongue against hers, their lips moving against each other… her leg being hiked up higher, his hand trailing over her bare leg only to rest on her butt, the other tangled in her hair. Her own arms were wrapped around his upper back while she pushed her body against his.

Sasori grunted in pleasure when he realized that his previous limitations had gone away with the passing hours. A smile appeared on his lips while Sakura kept on kissing him and pushing herself against him, apparently not having noticed his growing erection yet. Sasori mentally debated how to let her know what was about to happen, but his hand had a mind of its own and ended the debate by sliding the girl's panties off.

Noticing this, Sakura stopped her kissing and looked at her now naked butt and her panties hanging around her mid-thighs. Only now did she seem to realize what was going on. She looked up to Sasori with a surprised expression that quickly melted into a determined one. Everything about this felt right. If there was ever a time she wanted to have sex, she wanted it now. She wanted him now. So she shrugged off her panties and bit her lip as she stared at his black bathrobe. Her eyes quickly flicked up to meet Sasori's, then went back to focus on the job at hand. Her hands undid the tie around his waist and slid the fabric off his shoulders and arms. Sasori shrugged off the rest and threw the thing off the bed. In return, he made quick work pulling his shirt off the girl in front of him.

Both naked now, they took a short moment to admire the other. It didn't take long, because the longer they stared, the more heated they felt, and soon they flung themselves at each other in a crazed frenzy of lust. Whether it was mostly drug induced, they didn't know, nor did the thought even occur to them in that moment. Nothing existed but the other, and neither questioned what they were feeling. And even though everything they did was alien to Sakura, it didn't bother her in the slightest.

Sasori's mouth went from her mouth to her neck and down to her breasts where he sucked on her nipples, and a breathless giggle escaped her lips. This made him come up again and dance with her tongue while his left hand trailed south. Sakura inhaled sharply when a finger entered her and it was Sasori who chuckled this time.

"Doesn't hurt now, does it?" he asked, and Sakura answered no. He slid in and out of her, watching her face as he did so, adding another finger after a moment and increasing pace. She stared into his eyes while he worked her, breathing harder than before, and slowly raised her hips so his fingers inside her felt nicer. When he added a third finger and picked up pace some more, her mouth opened in a soundless gasp. Sasori's lips spread out in a toothy feral grin, and he leaned down to give her a deep kiss.

He removed his hand from her and pressed his body down, pulling both of her legs up, making her hook them around him. Her arms were wrapped around his back, hands resting on his shoulders. He ended their kiss for the moment, looking down at her and enjoying the feel of her body against his. The feeling of his crotch against her wet heat was almost too much, but he would bear it for a little while more. After all, they had a lot of time left to entertain themselves together… they probably wouldn't be able to have an orgasm for some time, so he could afford to take it slow.

Sakura felt like she could burst when Sasori started grinding his hips against hers. His erection lay hard on her stomach, trapped between their bodies. She moved her hips back against his, mewling at the sensations this caused, and the moment her dark green eyes met with Sasori's dark browns she found herself kissing him again.

Soon he stopped their kiss and moved his hips back a little, throwing 'taking it slow' out the window while he placed his tip at her entrance. Both were sweaty and breathing heavy while they anticipated what was to come. Sasori took a second to prepare for what he knew came next, and took pleasure in watching Sakura's face as she anticipated a feeling she'd never felt before. He unhooked her legs from around him and spread them on the bed, then got ready to enter her.

He offered Sakura one last smile while she was still an innocent virgin, which she happily returned. There were many things he could have said at that moment, but Sasori remained silent. This was going to happen, they were ready.

With one quick movement, he came inside her. If there was any pain, it hardly registered in Sakura's mind. Overcome by lust and feeling like one ball of intense heat, she relished in the feeling of him inside her body. Sasori didn't bother asking if she was okay, and quickly started on moving in and out of her, maintaining a steady rhythm. A rhythm that became less and less steady as time went by, a rhythm they both lost themselves in.

...I feel like repeating last chapter's warning: Don't try drugs! It's dangerous. Sasori doesn't know what he's doing either. Even though he thinks he does.

But I'm serious, drugs can fuck you up. They're illegal for a reason. Sakura will find out soon. Poor thing. Asshole Sasori. Stay tuned!
