Chap.25~Liars live on lies.~
Please don't remind me of how long ive been absent. Ive got a pretty guilty conscience about it already..but my absence was due to lost inspiration for this story so I decided now to make this story head into a new direction, and thus my inspiration returned.
"SANGO." Sesshomaru spoke sternly.
"Don't you yell at me you prick! You did this to her!" Sango screamed as tears filled her eyes.
"Be that true you must stay calm!" He practically yelled as he held kagome.
That—^ is a glimpse in the future.
It was now Wednesday and the pressure of the upcoming prom had every senior in a frenzy to go prepare and make sure everything was ready. The school was alive with beaming seniors and confused freshman wondering what all the ruckus was about. Kagome and Sesshomaru being one of the main causes of all the ruckus. On Monday they had walked in the school grounds hand-in-hand after exiting from his black porshe. Kikyo had not showed up to school that day but no one really cared not after witnessing and/or hearing what they did weeks prior.
Everyone had a good vibe going on seeing as Kikyo was out of the picture. Upon coming back everyone was praising Kagome, even thanking her for putting "the whore in her place" as many-MANY- said in those exact words. Tuesday though was a different story, Kikyo was back and she had a black eye and a bruise on her cheek, and a bandage on her nose. She came in very shy and closed off and went straight to the counselor. She then came out of the counselors office with tear streaks starting to dry off and when she looked around and made sure she couldn't see anyone she let a very devilish smirk come across her features. Then she brought her purse down to her side and took out a mirror and her makeup and fixed her tear stained face. She then proceeded her day as she normally would, only changing her stature so that she seemed very shy and scared. Everyone seemed to back off and started rumors saying that she finally knew her place, that Kagome had knocked her out, spewing stories that didn't even exist but had many minds wondering which one was true. Kikyo smirked, though no one saw, as she saw her plan coming together very soon, it was truly flawless in her mind. She got out her cellphone and dialed a very familiar number.
"Im assuming all went well?" the voice spoke evily.
"All is going well love, shall I pay with a little extra today?" she replied in a seductive tone.
"Oh! So I see you seem very pleased. Very well come at 6 on the dot. Don't disappoint." The voice replied before ending the call. 'Hopefully I get "paid" before she finds out that this plan, I made purposely flawed.' The owner of the voice thought with a smirk.
Soon the day had ended and everything had gone down smoothly. Now today being Wednesday did not seem so promising for the Daiyoukai. Sesshomaru was in homeroom doing some extra work to pass the time seeing as he only had this week left of school and it was a free week to do as you pleased so long as you attended school and stayed within the school grounds. Eventually the classroom phone rung and he stood to pick it up seei+ng as his teacher was out helping with decorating the school for prom. Upon answering the phone he realized it was his counselor speaking that she needed himself and Kagome down in her office to speak. After picking up Kagome from the library they headed to counselors office where the woman told Kagome to stand outside, instructing Sesshomaru to stay inside.
"That lying bitch." Sesshomaru said as he stormed out of the counselors office his eyes starting to go pink at the rims.
"Sesshomaru what happened?!" Kagome asked frantically as she saw the way his anger starting pulsing in his aura.
"The whore had the audacity to lie about relations with this Sesshomaru." Sesshomaru said as he started searching for the only person he knew was behind this.
"Whoa what happened what did the counselor tell you?" Kagome asked.
"It is of nothing of what the counselor told this one but the sheer fact that I was practically being interrogated. And I know exactly why I was called down, that lying bitch. The counselor called for you next." Sesshomaru said icily.
Kagome was in shock with the way he answered her but knew that whatever happened in there was going to affect her just as bad if not even worse than it affected him, considering it had to do with Kikyo. She walked into the office with Sesshomaru in tow as she was about to enter said counselors personal office, Sesshomaru seated himself outside in one of the waiting chairs nodding for her to enter assuring her that he would calm himself in the meantime.
"Hello, you asked to speak to me?" Kagome said bluntly.
"Ah yes Kagome, please take a seat." The counselor directed.
"Ok Kagome. Do you have any bad relationships with any of the students here on campus?"
"Yes." she answered knowing full well that the counselor knew who.
"And who could—"
"Kikyo." Kagome interrupted.
"Well has she done anything to you recently?"
"Yes." Kagome answered.
"May I ask what she did?"
"Saturday, she came up to my doorstep and swung the door open before I could open it myself, to greet whoever was at the door, and smacked me across the face. Out of self-defense seeing as she stepped inside of my house I punched her across the face. She then proceeded to call me a bitch and whore and told me she came to finish me off that I wasn't going to win. That she would have Sesshomaru back and this and that. She swung at me again and I defended myself and kneed her in the stomach. That's when Sesshomaru came down stairs and saw that I was bleeding from my nose. He then proceeded to walk towards me and tell Kikyo to get out of my house before he called the cops on her. She then went to strike at me again for believing I had slept with her "boyfriend" but I knowing that I didn't and that he was her ex and now my boyfriend, I went to push her out of the door but Sesshomaru dragged the carpet from under her making her slip and fall out of the door. She then left but not before saying she would get me even if it was the last thing she did."
"Then Sunday, while Sesshomaru and I were on my bed barely waking up, my window burst open, breaking in the process, and Sesshomaru protected my body with his. Then proceeded to attack the intruder. Having knocked the intruder unconscious he looked out the window and told me he had seen Kikyo smirking at him and that's when the intruder got up and held me in a choke hold with a knife to my neck. Sesshomaru turned around and anger filled his eyes. He went to attack but the intruder told him that if he made a move I would die. Soon though he heard a car and people coming up the shrine steps so instead took the quick approach and stabbed me in my side, leaving the knife there, and said "Something to remember me by." And then jumped out my window."
"If you think im lying, go to my house. All the evidence is still there. My broken window, my blood on my sheets, his scent, we took the knife so no one could tamper with it. My attacker was Suikotsu and he confessed to Kikyo sending him this time and the last time two years ago. I have the scar from his last attack two years ago and the new found wound almost completely on top of it and almost completely healed." She said as she stood and proceeded to stand up and show the counselor the two scars. The counselor could see that there was a healed and old scar and a brand new one practically fresh as she said almost right on top of it.
"Did you report this to the cops!?" the counselor exclaimed.
"Inu no taisho took care of it, and that is all im aware of."
"Did you and Sesshomaru Taisho sleep together?" the counselor asked. Taken aback by the extremely personal and very abrupt question seemingly coming out of nowhere.
"Excuse me?" Kagome said with a bit of acidity in her tone.
"It is information that is needed Kagome." The counselor pushed.
"I believe that question is personal and I believe if I were to say yes you file a rape charge that isn't in your place to file. The answer is no and I'll gladly prove it. Seeing the shock on your face proves my claim but sorry sweets, I'm 18 and fairly old enough to do as I please." Kagome said with the acidity in her tone growing ten times worse.
"Now on whether or not me popping my cherry has anything to do with the lie on which Kikyo came to you or not, I'm done here."
"How do you know her abuse and rape by Sesshomaru is a lie!" the counselor asked. Realizing her mistake all too late.
"When did it occur." Kagome asked amused.
"This is no laughing matter Higurashi! Besides that information is personal!" the counselor exclaimed.
"When did it occur counselor. You already spoke of the reason I am here. And about that pathetic personal card you're pulling on me, asking about my sexual life is against the school's code of conduct, Mrs. Hime. You already spoke about that claim, now tell me what I ask to know and no one will hear of the fact that you violated your counseling boundaries." Kagome said sternly. With a sigh Mrs. Hime knew she was cornered and chose to be wise.
"She told me it happened this Monday."
"Sesshomaru is out of the picture then. Right after school he and I went to his place to finish our personal kitchen with Inu no taisho, Jankotsu, Inuyasha and my mother. There *re your alibies feel free to call any of them. As for the reason of me saying our personal kitchen, is because I now live with the Taishos seeing as they can provide better protection than anyone or anything else after what happened Sunday."
"If that is all I am done with you." Kagome said as she stormed out of her office.
I feel like I might've taken it too far but like I said the story is heading in a slighty different direction and plus I have to bring Kikyo's plans back in at some point.
Good day everyone! Ill update possibly tomorrow if my mom shares the computer. Don't worry I plan on keeping my word from now on, like I said Newfound Inspiration.
