The Mission That Brought Us Together ~ The Oath
Three full months have pass since the proposal of the lighting dragon slayer to the barmaid. Everyday is a celebration at the Fairy Tail guild with more endless drinking, cheering and preparation for the wedding. As the bride and groom to be, they have decided to carry out the wedding at the Caldia cathedral. Decorations have been put up and around the whole cathedral with adjustment after adjustment to make it a perfect wedding venue. And finally, the day for the grand wedding finally arrives.
The Raijinshuu squad has started to prepare the lighting dragon slayer in the early morning while the Strauss siblings, celestial mage help up on the white hair woman. After hours of preparation and fully satisfy with their wedding outfit, the lighting dragon slayer reaches the cathedral first and waited for the bride to be to arrive. As the white hair woman in her beautiful white wedding dress arrives, the hall fall silent with the lighting dragon slayer mouth drop open. The barmaid smiles as she sees the reaction of the groom to be reaction.
Suddenly, the whole hall is fill with white smoke in just a matter of seconds as the Fairy Tail members start to panic with the situation. Sensing something is wrong, the lighting dragon slayer immediately rush to the entrance to get the white hair woman. Just as the dragon slayer almost made it to the barmaid's side, a hand grips the white hair woman.
"You're coming with me" a voice calls out from the white smoke.
"MIRA!" the lighting dragon slayer calls out.
The lighting dragon slayer immediately grabs the other hand of the white hair woman as he kicks the mysterious hand. The hand immediately come back and grip on the lighting dragon slayer's shoulder.
"Doesn't matter. You will do as well." The mysterious voice speaks up.
"LAXUS!" the barmaid calls out as she grabs the lighting dragon slayer's hand that's holding her.
Before they could get a firm grip of each other, the lighting dragon slayer is being pulled away already. The barmaid immediately grabs her wedding dress and run out the cathedral to follow them. However, as the white hair woman reaches out from the cathedral and the white smoke, she only manages to catch a glimpse of a white suit groom disappearing into an alley. With a scowl on her face, she immediately transform into her satan soul. Spreading her wings, flapping hard, she is in the air in just seconds as she tracks down the lighting dragon slayer and the mysterious kidnapper. Chasing with all she can at the end of the dragon slayer, the white hair demon finally arrives at the deserted pagoda like building. The white hair demon looks around the surrounding before looking back at the pagoda tower. As the demon is about to move, the tv on top of the door flick on.
"Laxus!" the white hair demon calls out.
"Mira?" the lighting dragon slayer mutters in confusion.
"Well well.. I know you will find the way here." The mysterious voice speaks up from the speaker.
"Looks like you guys forgotten about me huh?" the mysterious voice speaks up and laughs.
"Who are you?" the white hair demon asks.
"I'm here to safe you two." The voice laughs again.
"Safe us? More like annoy and disturb us." The lighting dragon slayer speaks up with anger.
"Oh. I told you two before. Love is a weak and dangerous thing. I'm doing you two a final favor you know."
Both the Fairy Tail mages freeze for a moment as their eyes widen.
"Guess you two know who I am now." The voice laughs again.
"Don't tell me.." the dragon slayer trails off.
"Yes. It's Brent."
As the voice speaks, both the Fairy Tail mages can make out a smirk on the person's face.
"Since you two don't listen, I might as well give up though. But, I have prepared a gift for your wedding. Why don't you tell her what it is?" Brent laughs.
"Laxus.." the white hair demon looks at the screen projecting the lighting dragon slayer and wait for him to answer.
"Its.. a time bomb." The lighting dragon slayer swallows as he finishes speaking.
"Get out of there then Laxus."
"I can't. Im.. tied" the lighting dragon slayer looks at the white hair demon through the projection screen.
"Tied with a anti-magic metal chain" Brent speaks up.
"Wha.." the white hair demon trails off as her eyes wide open.
"In exactly 5 minutes, the bomb will goes off. The game begins right now. Oh, before I forgot. I lose my power since I lose to you two. But I have hired a few mages to keep you two accompany." Brent laughs again.
Without wasting anymore time, the white hair demon immediately leaps off and kicks down the door to the building. As the hallway is too narrow, the white hair demon couldn't use her wings. Putting as much effort as she could, the demon rushes down the hallway. Just as she gets near another door, two silhouettes appear from the side.
"Evil explosion!"
The white hair demon throws the charged up energy ball towards the door, exploding it as well as sending the two mages away. As the demon steps into the destroyed door, the walls start to close in. The white hair demon immediately leaps a few times towards the end of the hallway, kicking another door in front of her and jumps in as the walls shut close together.
"MIRA!"
"LAXUS!"
The white hair demon quickly rushes up to the side of the lighting dragon slayer.
"Are you ok?" the demon asks.
"I'm fine." The lighting dragon slayer replies.
As the white hair demon walks to the back of the lighting dragon slayer, she sees a time bomb with only 3 minutes and 20 seconds left tied below the chain that keep the lighting dragon slayer there. As she reaches out to the chain, her fingers turn back to the human fingers while she remains in her demon form. Shock, the white hair demon releases the chain and her fingers immediately turns back to the demon's one.
"I've told you. That is an anti-magic chain." Brent voice comes up from the speaker.
"Tch. Can you break it Laxus?" the white hair demon asks.
"I've tried. It's too hard to be broken." The lighting dragon slayer replies.
"That chain is use to tied up wild animals. Do you think you have more raw powers than a wild animal?" Brent laughs.
The white hair demon reaches for the chain again and as last time, her fingers immediately turn back to her human fingers. She tries pulling the chain, yanking it, but it just wouldn't move.
"Mira, leave." The dragon slayer speaks up.
"What are you talking about?" the demon asks.
"I would feel better if you are safe Mira." The lighting dragon slayer forces out a weak smile.
"Don't be ridiculous Laxus. We'll get out of here together." The demon speaks and tries to pull the chain again.
"It's not like you to just give up. If I'm the one that got tied up here, would you just leave me?" the white hair demon asks.
"Of course I won't" the dragon slayer replies immediately.
Just then, another door burst open and three more mages appear.
"Demon blast!"
The white hair demon releases the dark purple aura and exploded the area the three mages were. Just then, her eyes went wide open.
"Laxus!" the white hair demon looks at the dragon slayer with a smile.
"I've got an idea." The demon smirks.
"What are you thinking, Mira?" the dragon slayer asks in confusion.
"You trust me, don't you?" the demon grins at the dragon slayer.
"Of course I do." The dragon slayer smiles.
"Just stay still. I'll blast down the metal pole." The white hair demon grins wider.
"I will. Because no matter in happiness or sadness, healthy or sick, I'll always believe in you."
"No matter you're tied up free, whether you're down or up, I'll always be there for you."
"That doesn't sound right." The lighting dragon slayer smirks.
"Does it matter?" the white hair demon grins.
"No. It doesn't" the dragon lips curl up into a smile.
"That's what I thought." The demon continues grinning.
With a blink of an eye, the white hair demon's expression turns serious as she looks up at the end of the pole. With a leap up there, the demon steadies herself for a second before leaping up vertically as she turns to look down at the pole. With her palms close to each other, she begins to charge a dark purple energy ball as her wings give a gentle flap, making her airborne.
"Demon blast!"
The purple energy penetrates the metal pole in the center, leaving the outer side of it weak as a wood splinter would be. The lighting dragon slayer immediately pulls his hands to the front, snapping down the weak metal pole as the time bomb and the anti-magic chain drop to the floor.
"IMPOSSIBLE!" Brent's voice echoes around the building.
The lighting dragon slayer immediately pulls the white hair demon into a kiss. Startle, the white hair demon's eyes wide open for a second before she closes her eyes and melt into the sweet kiss.
"Let's continue when we get out." The lighting dragon slayer whispers as he pulls away.
The white hair demon grins and nods towards the dragon slayer.
"STOP THEM. NOW!" Brent's voice booms around the building.
Immediately, both the S-Class mages hear footsteps approaching the door.
"2 minutes left." The white hair demon mutters as she looks down at the time bomb.
"I'll take care of them." The lighting dragon slayer says as he moves in front of the demon.
"roar... of the lighting DRAGON!"
The lighting dragon slayer sends the roar to the door, blasting all the way down the hallway knocking down all the incoming mages.
"You should hire better mages you know." The lighting dragon slayer speaks up as he grabs the white hair demon's hand.
"I'll get you both again. Just watch it!" Brent's voice booms up from the speaker.
"Not if the detention cops get you into a higher security cell." The demon speaks up.
"You think they can catch me?" Brent laughs.
"They will when we make our way out and blast down this building of yours. It will hold you down until the detention cops arrive I'm sure." The lighting dragon slayer speaks up as he looks to the white hair demon at his side.
The white hair demon's eyes shoot up for a few seconds before she grins.
"Doesn't sounds bad for some effect for the wedding, I guess." The white hair demon smirks.
As both the Fairy Tail mages makes their way out from that building and after getting to a safe distance from it, they turn to face it.
"Ready Mira?"
"Always am."
They look at each other as the lighting dragon slayer slide his left hand to the back of the white hair demon as her right hand slide up behind the dragon slayer's neck. Their free hand claps together, channeling their magic energy to their palm, mixing up for a unison raid.
"Roaring darkness.. thunder EXPLOSION!"
With the final shout, the gather magic energy expand up in front of their intertwine fingers before shooting off towards the building. A huge explosion burst up the building and as both the mages watch it, the demon's aura slowly leaves the barmaid's body. They turn to each other with a smile before setting down with a long sweet kiss.
"We better go before the detention cops reach here." The lighting dragon slayer speaks up.
"Yeah. I bet everyone is waiting anxiously at the cathedral." The barmaid giggles.
Leaving the destroyed building, they reach the cathedral a short while later. Swarm up with the Fairy Tail mages, question after question, they all finally settle down for the wedding ceremony to take place. Walking down the aisle, reading the correct oath, the new couple to be smile and giggle before exchanging their rings. As the lighting dragon slayer bends down, his rough yet gentle lips meet with the soft and tender lips of the barmaid, settling in a perfect kiss as a deadly road of applause and whistle fill the cathedral in Magnolia. They know for a reason if they have each other by their side, they can overcome any obstacles the future holds...
