"You've got a heart, and a soul. I can feel it!"

Penny ran. She sprinted. She bolted. She wasn't thinking.

All she knew that truck wasn't going to stop. Ruben would be pancaked if she didn't intervene.

No. No he wouldn't have. It was Ruben Thorn. The Ruben Thorn.

Ruben could have rolled out of the way. Could have jumped. Might have been able to to take the brunt of the truck. He's strong enough.

He could have been fine.

Would have been fine.

She didn't have to stop the truck. Didn't need to push Ruben out of the way. Didn't need to go overboard.

Didn't need to stop the truck with her bare hands.
In the middle of the street.
In front of countless people.

She glanced at her hands as she ran, the silver and metal shone in her eyes as she bolted between the buildings. She clutched her fists, regretting the conversation she'll have with her father.

What happened to your hands? He would ask.

You did what to a car?! He would shout.

Whatever she was doing, wherever she was going, she was fast. Quick like lightening.

She was getting as far away from the situation as possible. To avoid any and all possible problems.

Namely, Ruben and the soldiers.

They, the armed guards patrolling the area, would have taken her back to her father. Back to her creator. Questioned her on why she was running. Who that boy was that was chasing her. Why was he chasing her. Who was he working for.

Questions she didn't feel like answering.

Ruben would have all sorts of questions. All sorts of inquiries. Namely the metal and the immeasurable strength.

She turned down the alleyway, her hands shaking and her knees threatening to give. She slowed to a jog, looking down at her feet as she pressed her hands against her cheeks. Her fake, cold cheeks.

"I was so careful..." She mumbled, staring into the floor. The pavement was dark colored, a much dark shade than the rest of the concrete. The smell of noodles and spicy chicken now disgusting and rancid. "So careful."

"Penny!" Ruben turned the corner, hot on her trail. Regardless of his current condition, he continued his pursuit.

It was Ruben. He wasn't going to let a hit and run and bleeding forehead stop him.

Penny turned on a dime, hands behind her back as she faced Ruben. She didn't want him to notice her steel. He was panting and groaning, his hands on his hips as he dry heaved.

Today wasn't a good day so far.

"Ruben! My frie-"

"How?" He asked, rushing over to her. He stopped a few feet away from her, his back bent and his hands resting on his knees. He was curious about how Penny did that.

Did that thing.

Stopping a truck and running wasn't exactly normal.

Sure, Yin's done it plenty of times. Then again, that's Yin. He is capable of feats such as that.

This is Penny.

Sweet, innocent, adorkable Penny. Who's stopped a speeding truck with her bare hands.

No one like Penny has that kind of strength or endurance.

Granted, Ruben himself was just hit by a van, but that's a matter for a different time. "Penn-"

"Your forehead." She mumbled, reaching up and running her fingers over his gaping wound. Her finger tips grazing his open would. He brushed her hand aside, the touch stinging him. That's when he caught a glimpse of the steel making up her hand.

The cold, metal steel of her palm sent off a shock throughout his body.

Without much warning, he grabbed it. Studying it. Feeling it. Testing it. His eyes staring into the beautifully crafted mechanisms and slick shine of the metal. It reminded him of Gren. Oh sweet, sweet Gren.

You will one day be rebuilt, Ruben promised so many times before.

"The metal work is perfect. The digits and palm is completely solid, not hollow. The metal itself is as smooth as butter and hard as any steel that I've handled. Possibly harder. The refining top notch." Ruben glanced up, his eyes shining and his smile wide. This wasn't any run of the mill metal work.

Penny looked more beautiful than he could ever imagine. Whoever built her this, was a master craftsman.

"Who made this?"

"My father did." Penny said, with a shrug and a smile. He actually was admiring her. Actually appreciating her. Not judging her. "He made me."

"You're a fa-" He shook his head, letting out a sigh. Fake is not appropriate. Nor will it ever be appropriate. She is a...being. Not human. But a conscious being.

With feelings and stuff.

"Synthetic person." Ruben replaced.

"Correct." Penny nodded, stepping back and adding a twirl to her step. Her skirt coming up slightly, head tilted to the sky as she shot her arm into the air. She posed before Ruben with a gleeful smile. "First Synthetic being capable of generating an Aura."

"This is unreal." Ruben mumbled, approaching her. His hands gently running up her arms, his lips curling into a smile of pure disbelief. His thumbs rubbing against her elbow joints and his fingers grazing her tricep.

"Your skin feels so...real." He glanced up at her eyes, seeing a slight blush bleeding into her cheeks. "Looks so real." He pressed his palm against her skin, feeling her shudder. Feeling her body warm up against him.

She began panting, her mind scraping for anything that would explain what she was feeling.

She was getting hot. That's what her body was feeling. But the weather wasn't bad. The sun wasn't exactly beating on her. There wasn't any sunlight on either of them. She could feel her thighs rubbing slightly together, her knees feeling shaky for some reason. She let out a hot breath.

"You react so...human..." He leaned in close to Penny, staring into her emerald eyes. Her crafted, beautifully made green orbs. He leaned his head closer to hers, his eyes glancing at her features.

Her rosy cheeks. Her ever present smile now gone. Her apple red lips quivering. "You...you are so be-"

"Ruben!" She pushed him out of the blue, sending him crashing into a nearby wall. The dust gathering on the brick flew off, blanketing him in dirt and grime.

Not. What. He. Expected.

He slammed against the brick, the back of his head smacking against the wall hard. Like really, really, really hard.

The bricks caved under the pressure and left a Ruben sized print in the wall.

The trash bags provided a nice form of cushioning when he landed on his side. He heard a sharp ringing in his ears, and already could feel his sight getting hazy.

Luckily, he had just enough willpower to hear Penny shriek as he faded into unconsciousness.

He made a note to buy a helmet from now on.

This always seems happens to him.

"Sooooooooo..." Neptune glanced over at the Twins, drink in hand as he glanced over the two of them. The one in black, who's fluffy dress and emotionless face reminding him of a girl he went to school with several years ago.

She wore a blood red, strapless dress with a black lining across the skirt.

Her pale cheeks covered in red blush. Her pale green eyes glowing in the darkness of the club.

He looked over her, the emerald eyes contrasting with...everything! Everything she wore and looked!

Her sister, however, was wearing white. The same sort of strapless dress, with a feathered scarf around her neck added. With long, white boots.

Neptune glanced between the two, smiling as he got a devious idea. A Yin Yang Bomb sort of plan. "Are you a 'two for one' deal?"

"Some jerk already made that joke." Junior stated, cleaning an empty glass before he laid it on the table before him. He saw his reflection in the glass and noticed his tie was loose and off center.

Junior adjusted his tie as he glanced over at his bodyguards. Melanie and Miltiades. He made a motion of the eyes towards Neptune. His hand closing into a fist for a moment.

They shook their heads in unison.

Maybe they liked him. After all...
He was buying them free drinks.

Junior leaned over the counter, making sure Neptune wasn't going to try anything.

Not try to wrap an arm around them.

Not try to steal a quick kiss on the cheek.

Those were his girls. He needed to protect them as they protected him.

They made sure no one blows his head off or slices him in half.

He makes sure degenerates don't bother them and they have an enjoyable night in his club.

It was a healthy partnership.

He glanced at the door, bumping his head slightly to the beat of the song. Shutting his eyes as his lips curled to a smile.

Red Like Roses-

Then there was the shrieking of terror. Two of his men came rushing in, sweat running off of their brows. Their axes were broken, leaving jagged ended clubs in their holsters.

One of their glasses was missing a lens and the other was missing a jacket sleeve.

Both of their mouths were ajar and their bodies quivering in their boots.

Junior knew who was coming. The only man who could instill fear in his men's hearts.

And he wasn't happy.

Junior wasn't happy one bit.

Before he could bark the orders to barricade the doors and keep him locked out, they were kicked open.

Click. Click. Click. Click.

The sounds of his boots' heels smacked against the tiles of the room. The lights flashed in his eyes as he took off his golden motorcycle helmet.

He tucked it under his arm as he shook out his gorgeous golden locks.

"Guess! Who's! Back! Baby?!" Yin shouted, throwing his arms into the air as he rocked onto his heels. He heard the music record screech to a stop. The people murmuring in confusion as the song came to an abrupt stop.

The sound of rushing feet followed by the sound of axes scrapping against the dance floor and slides being locked on pistols.

Yin was home.

"Yin!" Junior walked over towards him, his hands coiled into fists and his furrowed brow hiding his burning death stare. He straightened his posture, standing a full head taller than Yin."What are-"

"Information!" Yin shouted pointing his finger right in Junior's face. His men backed off, making sure Yin wasn't going to launch their leader into the crowd in hopes of getting a strike. "Now!"

Junior looked over Yin, wondering who was dumb enough to ask Hei Xiong- No! Demand information from him.

Yin would be that dumb.

Junior couldn't help but smirk as he nodded his head. He rubbed his cheek, recalling the incident as if it was yesterday. He motioned his head towards the bar, waving off his men soon after. The music starting back up once more.

"Nice jacket."

"Mom got it for me!" Yin smirked, tugging on the collar of it as he moseyed on over to the stools. His eyes glancing over to the dance floor. The people were no longer dancing, simply staring in confusion as the bass shook the floor.

The men wondering what happened to the silence before hand.

The women checking out Yin. Winking and waving at him.

"So," Junior got behind the counter, pulling up a glass and began pouring it for Yin. Yin smiled, looking down the row to see the Twins staring daggers at him. He made a mental note to apologize to them.

For now. Information. He waved happily as he smiled a great big smile at them. "What do you need to know?"

"A little man named Roman." Yin answered, turning to his good friend Junior. He tipped his head towards the Bartender/Owner as he took up his drink and glugged it down. He watched Junior's eyes dash towards the floor, his hands pressing against the counter top. Yin smiled against his glass. "Orange hair? Cigar chomper?"

"I know him." Junior mumbled, resting his forearms on the counter as he leaned in towards Yin. His expression tired and annoyed. "Came in the same night some idiot decided to toss me and my men around like rag dolls."

"Again, I am sorry for that! I get a little passionate!" Yin said, shaking his hands. He remembered why he was called into the club. He recalled the picture, needing to take up that case again as soon as this matter had been handled.

He still needed to find that girl.

She had brown and pink hair. A brown and pink eye. Last seen in a white jacket and brown pants.

Whoever wanted to find her, however, didn't account for Yin being more 'Hired Bruiser' than a 'Private Contractor'. That reminded him to change his business cards from now on.

False advertising was bad for business.

"Roman gave me the money and took my guys. They were arrested outside some dust shop after a job gon-" Junior felt a hand on his throat and his cheek slamming against the cold wood of his counter. He glanced up, seeing the gauntlet's on Yin's arms up to his elbows. His eyes burning red as he stared into Junior's soul.

Junior opened his mouth to groan, only to hear Yin growl. Like a bear ready to pummel it's prey.

"Your men...attacked my brother." Yin stated, lifting Junior off of the counter and over the top. All with one hand at his side and the other under Junior's jaw. "Roman attacked my little brother."

"I feel for you! I really do!" Junior said, waving his hand to hold off the Twins. Miltia's claws were out and Melanie was already at Yin's side. Ready to slam her heel against the back of his skull. "But that's the last I saw of the man! I swear!"

Yin dropped him without hesitation, his gauntlets returning to their bracelet form. He jingled them before Junior as he took a sip of his drink. Reminding him he was always ready for a scuffle.

"Thanks, buddy." He looked over at the Twins, holding up a finger gun and shooting at them. Followed it with a wink as they turned heel and walked off. Noses held high.

"Yin!" Neptune said, sitting beside Yin as he tapped on the bar counter with his knuckle.

Yin looked over at Neptune, nodding his head as his eyes glanced all around the room. He smiled as he held up his hand.

"That! Guy?" He said, his voice high pitched and teeth barring. He glanced over at Junior, who simply shrugged as he moved to help another patron. "What's up?"

"Just checking out the lay-dees." Neptune said, smirking as he turned his body towards the dance floor. The silhouettes on the tiled floor, dancing to the blaring music as the smoke covered their feet. He bounced in his seat. "Yourself?"

"I wish. Doing a job for my team. Top secret. Jimmy Fond sort of detective-mystery-WhoDunIt-sort of stuff." Yin rattled off, looking over at the Twins. Who were casually watching him from across the room. Yin squinted his eyes, mouthed 'I'm sorry' before bumping his head in synch to the beat.

He hoped the other guys were having fun. He surely was.

Blair peeked around the corner, narrowing his eyes as he saw a White Fang member station just outside the door. The dark alleys of Vale were perfect for nighttime gatherings.

Only the Faunus would be able to make their way through the darkness to find the light.

Blair rolled his eyes as he recalled hearing one of the leaders use that to open up one of his many hate filled speeches. Blair looked at the mask in his hands.

The two slits to allow sight and the mouthguard missing to allow speech. For those Faunus with protruding fangs and jaws.

Much like Blair. He studied the mask for period of time, recalling the beasts they were suppose to represent.

The Grimm.

The halfmask was to remind the Faunus what humanity makes them out to be.

Grizzly Beasts and Horrible Monsters.

Just like the Grimm.

Just like Blair.

Tying the mask onto his head, he pulled off his hood and pocketed his favorite scarf. He saw the three claw marks signal on the wall, dragging his nails over the three as he made his way towards the front entrance.

Blair was waved in without hesitation, his fangs and horns example enough to allow him entrance.

The crowd was thick. He maneuvered his way through. Crossing shoulders and being walked into as he moved himself closer to the stage.

He could hear the doubt.

Hear the lies.

Hear the anger.

Hear the pain.

Hear the fear.

These new recruits were scared.

These new blood were anger.

These children were in pain.

These people were fed lies.

A member of the White Fang took center stage, his tattoo on his left arm were of some sort of Tribe. Blair did recognize it. Maybe they had done a job together in the past?

"Thank you all for coming. For those of you who are joining us for the first time tonight, allow me to introduce a very special comrade of ours! I can assure you, he is the key to obtaining what we have fought for for so long!" He said, stepping aside to welcome his guest of honor.

The great and infallible Roman Torchwick.

Blair flicked his wrist, ready to draw first as soon as he could get a clear shot. He stared daggers at Roman, growling lowly.

"Don't." A voice spoke out, making Blair's eyes almost shoot out of his skull. He glanced around, seeing a taller White Fang Recruit lean in close. He tapped on Blair's shoulder, making him jump.

That's when he saw the tail.

"What are you-"

"Figured you would be here." Sun said, with a smirk as he turned back towards Roman. Blair squinted his eyes, assuming Sun was here to sincerely hear out the White Fang and listen to their MO. Meeting Blair was a coincidence.

"But," Roman interjected, the middle of his speech being met with roars of disinterested bitterness. "before the claws come out, I'd like to mention the fact that you and I all have a common enemy. The ones in control! the people pulling the strings. The dirty, rotten humans that run our kingdoms!" The crowd begins with small circles clapping and agreeing with the criminal before him. "Government. Military. Even the schools. They're all to blame for your lot in life!" The whole crowd, par Blair and Sun, were in an uproar.

"And they're all pests that need to be dealt with! Fortunately, I'm the best exterminator around... No offense to any rodents in the room." Roman chuckled, clapping his hands.

Blair saw Roman snap his fingers, followed by a sight of the curtain behind him being pulled down.

The sight of the mechanical beast made Blair's jaw drop.

An Atlesian Paladin-290. The massive behemoth of a battle suit. Unlike anything Blair has ever seen. The massive barrels on each of it's arms. It stood at least an impressive two stories high.
The White Fang signal on it's shoulder piece.

"That's a biggggg robot." Sun said, gulping. He glanced over at Blair, who's eyes stared intently at Roman. His chest heaving and his lips shaking with every unsettling growl. "Who gets to play with it?"

"No him." Blair grumbled out, as he quickly drew his firearm. Before Sun could protest, two shots were fired.

They both were Blair's. The whole world seemed to freeze.

Blair's smile was shining in the darkness. The White Fang were scrambling to get to their weapons.

Roman's eyes shut just as the bullet made contact.

Sun just watched his friend attempt to assassinate a criminal in a room full of innocent bystanders.

The crowd ducked, began to funnel towards the doors while screaming bloody murder, leaving Roman to deal with being hit in the shoulder with one of the bullets.

Roman collapsed to the floor, his hand pressing down on the wound as he watched the group of Faunus disperse. Watched them all scatter like rats when the lights turn on.

All except Blair, who stood there patiently. As if he wanted to see the light. As if he wanted to get caught.

Blair's eyes locked with Roman's for a brief moment before he hastily made his exit.

Roman then saw it. He saw the same look and the same eyes at the docks. Their owner held a weapon to his throat. Calling out the White Fang on their mission.

Roman glanced up at the robot, his lips curling to a smirk as he steadied himself onto his knees. He swore revenge. He would destroy Blair. He would kill him.

Blair ducked and weaved through the crowd, Sun hot on his tail as they made into the now cramped alleyway. Blair jumped atop a dumpster and boosted himself up to the roof. Using windowsills and missing brick holes.

He hoisted himself onto the roof of a nearby building, hastily pulling his scarf out of his pocket and wrapping it around his neck. Pulling it up to his nose to hide his fangs.

"What is wrong with you?!" Sun shouted, jumping up onto the ledge and sitting down. Blair ignored him, casting his aside as he pulled his hood up and walked over to the edge of the wall.

Blair peeked over, catching a glimpse of the Faunuses running for their lives from the random gunman.

"Did what other's couldn't." Blair mumbled, turning to Sun. He huffed out his chest, walking over to him and grabbing him by the collar. "You think wars are won with rallies and billboards?"

"This isn't-"

"They would have had you done worse than I." Blair threw Sun to the floor, hands coiled into fists. Sun raised a hand, to block in case Blair decided to stomp. "They would have made you kill. Made you torture. Do what I did. Get while the gettings good." Blair heard the sound of a vicious roar, followed by the sound of a rocket meeting brick.

The building shook, Blair drawing his weapon and pulling back on the slide. He turned to Sun, who's hand was resting on his fast beating heart.

"You are no White Fang. You're a kid with a fancy staff." Blair rushed to the side of the building, growling as he saw Roman step out of the hole. Roman glanced all around until he felt bullets hitting his cockpit window and heard the shell casing crashing to the floor. "Don't make me tell you twice. Leave. Now." More shots were fired until Roman shot a rocket at the complex.

Fire and screams of agony followed.

And the night was still young.

Winter ran two fingers over his healed over scar. The cut across his cheek was pretty, and did make him look tougher than he was. Winter winked to himself in the reflection of the monitor, missing Courtney already.

He felt his scroll vibrate, pulling it out of his pocket and answering the call from Blair.

"Roman is after me and Sun. I'm leading him towards the nearest member, Ruben. I'll try to avoid the masses as much as I can. Back up is needed immediately."
"Help!"

"Good show, Mr. Blair." Winter smirked, stepping out of his feet and rushing towards the elevator. He pulled out a fresh wheel as he loaded it into his weapon.

"Time to show Mr. Torchwick what happens when you steal from the Frost Family."

A thumb pulling back on his hammer and finger on the trigger as the elevator doors came to a close.

"Help!"

"That sounds like Sun!" Neptune said, walking after Yin as he pushed the doors to the club open. He cracked his neck as he put on his helmet. He glanced over at Sun, motioning his head towards the backseat.

"Get on." Yin said, sitting on his ride.

"Awww sweet! Always wanted to ride a motorcycle!" Neptune said, hopping on the back and feeling the engine shake the cycle.

"I feel the need!" Yin shouted, reeving his engine before spinning out and bolting down the street. Neptune wrapping his arms around Yin's waist as he exceeded the speed limit at least twice over. "The need for speed!"

"Roman...Leading him..." Ruben groaned, squinting his eyes open as he thought he heard Blair talking. He awoke to the sight of the evening sky. The clear dark blue blanketed the night. The stars twinkling as Ruben felt for his scroll. "Back up...needed immediately."

"Ok,Blair..." Ruben grumbled, sitting up as he pushed himself onto his feet. He was lightheaded. Woozy. Sick to the stomach.

He was itching to cave in Roman's skull.

He shook his head as he pulled up his scroll and saw the black dot bleeping as it made it's way down Vale's major highway. "I'll see what I can do."

"Beast! What do we do?!" Sun shouted, jumping from car to car as they ran away from the Mech that was chasing them.

Roman had blown up several city blocks, several streets, and now was barreling through the highway.

Cars that ran into him were either stomped to bits or knocked aside. Blair jumped to a car, digging his claws into the roof as he steadied himself. He fired countless rounds into the machine, only to watch them bounce off and ricochet into the distance.

Blair growled, barring his teeth as he let go of the car and continued his retreating strategy.

Yin saw the machine from underneath the overpass, taking an on ramp onto the highway and seeing it just crashing and thrashing down the highway lane.

"I got this." Neptune unholstered his weapon and pressed the butt against his shoulder, drawing sights on the machine.

Yin rolled his eyes.

"Listen, Kid. That peashooter isn't going to-" He fired off several shots, the blue-white light piercing the night sky and exploding once making contact with the machine. It created notable dents in it's armor, nearly knocking it off balance all the while.

"Keep using the peashooter!" Yin shouted, accelerating to catch up with the Mech.

Roman growled as picked up a car and tossed it at Yin. Yin spins out, sliding the motorcycle on it's side to avoid getting smashed by the car.

However, as the motorcycle spun out, Neptune lost his grip on Yin and was sent crashing onto the gravel. Yin spun back onto his wheels, looking over and seeing Neptune.

"Sorry bro! You were a good wingman!" Yin shouted, as he turned his attention back to the Mech. He saw a blur of white in front of him, a ways down the highway.

He smirked as he saw the Mech continue it's pursuit. Reeving his engine as he was now a few feet away from the rushing Mech.

Sun growled as he reached into his belt and pulled out his staff. He pressed the flat end of the stick into the car's trunk as he propelled himself towards the Mech.

The Mech saw the flying monkey, the proceeded to raise his left arm and swat Sun out of the way. Sun was sent off of the bridge and into the city below.

Blair watched Sun fall, barring his teeth as he fired off more shots at the Mech. His roars echoing and his shots hitting their mark.

"Alright..." Winter locked his weapon, staring down the Mech as he casually spread his feet shoulder length apart. He fired several shots into the floor, a layer of ice covering the area ahead of him. He took a sidestep to the side, just in case the Mech decides to slip and land atop of him.

The Mech's foot hit the ice and skidded into the railing. Tumbling off of the side onto the pavement.

"This is odd..." Ruben looked over the scroll, raising a brow as the Yellow, White, and Black dots began to converge all around him. Ruben squinted his eyes, looking all around. "Says here that-"

That's when he heard the gun fire.

And the screaming.

He looked up, seeing a blur of gun grey and a bit of white come crashing down. Ruben jumped back, his jaw dropping at the sight of what seemed to be a robot.

A giant mechanical being that could level a city block in a rotation of it's hips. That could blow up a sky scraper with a single rocket.

Then he glanced at his scroll, all three dots now right atop of him. He looked back up at the mech.

That was Roman.

Roman was manning a giant mech suit and tried to kill Blair.

Ruben saw the mech struggle to get back on it's feet, Roman probably disorientated from the fall and the thrashing about inside.

Ruben began to slowly reach for his scythe.

"So..." Ruben shrugged, his lips curling to a despicable smile. Tonight was going to be fun. "This is a thing."

"Absolutely." Blair said, landing beside Ruben. He spun his axe into his hand, palming the cheek of his blade.
"Surly. This will be interesting." Winter said, walking up beside Ruben. Casually loading several shells into an empty wheel.
"Come on and slam!" Yin shouted, jumping off of the bridge and landing right in front of Ruben. "Welcome to the jam!"

"You insolent children!" Roman shouted, getting his Mech back onto it's feet and facing them. Winter turned towards Yin, nodding his head as he tossed him several sky blue revolver casings.

"Zombie Fog, Yin." Winter suggested, loading the fresh wheel as he let loose a soft chuckle. Yin smirked, tossing the casings up into the air and over hooking them into the floor. The shells exploding as they made contact with the pavement.

A dense fog encompassed the area.

Roman squinted his eyes, flicking a switch and letting the infrared laser do his work for him. The laser began cutting through the smoke, searching for it's target.

Winter locked his hammer as Yin and Blair charged. Blair lead the way as he spun on a dime and turned towards Yin. Blair tossed Yin his axe as he laced his fingers together.

Yin caught it as he jumped into Blair's hands and was hoisted up into the air. Yin pulled his arms back, and spun himself into a front flip.

The momentum Blair provided and the raw power of Yin catapulted Blair into the air as he desperately held onto his chain. Blair felt the cold wind blow threw his hair as he soar. His lips curling into a devious smile.

Blair slowly rotated his body forward, placing all his mass into his heels as he was rocketed towards the cockpit. His heels slammed into the Mech, knocking it off balance and into a nearby column.

Ruben roared as he charged, Yin following right behind him. Ruben jumped up as he swung his blade right into the cock pit. The tip of the scythe puncturing the metal.

Roman glanced up to see his ceiling now has a hole in it. He raised his right arm and slammed it against Ruben, sending him and his scythe flying away.

Winter took the opportunity to fire the rest of his wheel, the bolts of lightening striking the Mech. Roman saw the monitors and screens begin to tweak out. The data getting scrambled and the vision askew. That's when it went pitch black.

The Mech was out of commission, at least until Roman got the power to reset.

Winter contemplated to load the Ice wheel just as Ruben rushed to his side. Ruben glanced over at Winter, flipping his scythe into lever action form. Ruben pulled down on his lever as he steadied his arms.

"Ice?" Winter asked, shutting his left eye. The Mech wasn't moving, and Ruben was itching to lay waste to him. Winter steadied his breathing, his sights dead set on the dents Blair left with his boots and the hole Ruben made.

"Fire." Ruben growled, firing off several shells. Winter chuckled, quickly loading the wheel firing his own shots. As Winter's bullets passed Ruben's, the area of effect caught the beads aflame, and it seemed as though a wall of fire was sent forth against Roman.

The wave crashed against the mech and sent it through the pillar, concrete and rubble crashing atop of it. Yin howled as he rushed on over. He grabbed up a piece of rubble and elbowed it as he ran.

The mass turning into a propelled spike before it crashed against Roman's shoulder. Roman watched as Yin jumped up onto the air, his forearms and fist covered in golden armor.

System Online, Thank you for using-

"No, you don't!" Roman shouted, screaming into the screen as he grabbed ahold of the controls.

Roman caught Yin just before he made contact, rolling over and slamming him into the ground. Yin felt his body crush under the weight, feeling his body giving as he was then thrown against a pillar. He blew through it, breaking through the concrete until he slammed into the one behind it.

"Yin!" Winter shouted, hearing Ruben chuckle in response. Winter looked over at Ruben, who was giggling at the sight. Ruben glanced over at Winter, showing his smirk and squinted eyes.

"Yin is made to fight. The stronger he gets hit," Yin casually gets onto his feet, his shoulders slumped as he placed his hands on his knees. His breathing getting heavy and slowing immensely. "The stronger he hits back."

Yin's eyes were blood shot red, as his gauntlets slowly built their way up to his shoulders and his chest. Roman pulled his arm back, sending a punch towards Yin.

Yin slowly raised his head, his left arm following. That's when Roman felt the Mech rock back. As if it had just hit a mountain. It didn't budge.

Yin had pressed his palm flat against the knuckles of the mech, stopping it dead in it's place without so much as a break of the sweat. Yin pulled back his right hand, curled it into a fist and sent a straight right into the robot's fist.

The entire right arm of the machine combusted into bits and pieces. The floor was littered in broken pieces of weaponry and metal. Roman groaned as he raised his left arm to retaliate.

As he raised the arm above his head, Blair's chain wrapped around it's wrist to keep it from moving.

Winter sent several ice shots into the Mech's legs to keep Roman from escaping.

Ruben simply stepped back a few paces as he swung his weapon into scythe mode.

Yin cracked his neck, making sure Roman saw his pretty face just before he got armored up.

Rolling his shoulders back, Yin jumped up into the air and sent a hook right into Roman's cockpit. Roman blinked just before all he could hear was the ringing. Ohhh the ringing.

Roman was propelled out of the now exploded into pieces Mech, sliding and tumbling across the floor. His whole world a blur as the spinning, ringing, and speed sent him out of body and out of mind.

He felt his side ram against something hard, then something hard press against his throat. He blinked, a black and grayish looking figure standing above him.

"Listen, Roman." Ruben spoke softly, to make sure it was loud enough just for him to hear. "You wanted a war. I'm here to give you my declaration of war. You don't," Ruben took a step back, readying his scythe to cut right through Roman.

"Mess my family!" He swung down, only to feel his blade crash and slide against something. Ruben could only see a blur of pink and brown. He steppe off to the side, the momentum of his attack carrying his feet away.

Ruben looked behind him, seeing this strange girl stepping between Ruben and Roman.

She wore a white jacket, with a pink underneath with brown pants. Half of her hair was a dark, strawberry pink while her other half was a dark chocolate brown. Her eyes also the same shades of red and brown.

Ruben let out a vicious roar, just as Yin raised his voice to protest.

That's the girl he was hired to find.

"Rub-"

Ruben swung his blade and struck the girl. The woman and Roman both bursting into bits of glass. Crashing against the pavement. Ruben stepped over to the glass, wondering what exactly was happening. He looked over his shoulder, seeing a Bullhead Airship fly by. Roman and the mystery girl sitting inside.

Winter fired off his remaining shots as Blair did the same.

Blair emptied his clip and Winter shot until he heard nothing but clicks.
