Jane giggles when she finds June on the couch, and leans over the back of it to hug her, pressing the back of June's head into her breasts, "Hey there."
June squeaks and jumps to her feet away from Jane, looking at her nervously. She relaxes a little, but still on edge. "Hi?"
Jane swishes her tail playfully, "Aw June, her just adorable when you blush..."
She blushes more. "What do you want?"
"Oh just going on an outing with Smoke's client, and thought I'd take you with me."
"M-me?! Why not someone else?!" She gulps, shrinking.
"Because this client is male, and I just can't feel comfy without a cute lady nearby." She walks around the couch, "No worries Sugah, I ain't no pervert."
"Bullshit, she's just as perverted as me." Seis states as he and Counterpunch walk in.
June shrinks a little more.
"CHEESE AND MACARONI!" Spike erupts from the couch cushions wearing a Darth Vader mask, and his sword in hand. He points at Seis, and says, "I am your father!"
"Bullshit! My father is emo!" He roars, somehow drunk. He drops the popcorn as he unsheathes his sword, and the two of them start swordfighting.
Counterpunch catches the popcorn and quickly moves next to the two ladies. "Er... is this normal?" He chews some popcorn.
Jane looks at them, "Spike's being an idiot, and Seis is drunk... Yup, that's normal."
"C'mere! I want to kill you more!" Seis roars, chasing Spike around.
"...Is it weird that I see Shadow fighting Sonic in those two?" Counterpunch tilts his head.
"Depends on which one you think is Shadow," Jane says, pulling the couch to the side so they can sit, and watch.
"IMMA GET EDO PERIOD ON YOUR ASS!" Spike whirls, slashing widely at Seis.
"The black drunk one with stripes?" He could kinda see a resemblance between Seis and Shadow, what with his colors and his airskates.
"IMMA GO KABOOM ON YOUR FACE!" Seis weaves between the slashes, changing his broadsword into a shotgun and firing plasma grenades at Spike.
Spike vanishes, and appears behind him, his sword stabbed in the ground as he sits on it. "Dude, that sounded WAY homo, no offense Jane."
"None taken," she says as she chews some popcorn, and scoots a bit closer to June.
"Yeah? Well... your face sounds homo." He stumbles over his words before passing out from drunken exhaustion.
"Don't ding!" Spike pulls a stick out of his quills, and starts poking Seis with it. "Seis taking a Seista..."
Seis' eyes shoot open, bloodshot and pupil-less, and he launches Spike through a wall without moving. He then blinks, his eyes still bloodshot but his pupils back, and he mutters something uncomprehendable before passing out again.
"Eeeewww get him OFF ME!"
Counterpunch snickers and stands. "Well, I believe this is our cue to leave."
"Please don't leave me with a terrible, drunken hedgie," Spike begs.
"Better you than me." June packs up her laptop into her computer bag, adjusting her glasses nervously.
Counterpunch heads for the door. "Be sure to water him twice a day."
Jane sighs, taking pity on him. "Hey Seis! The wall just grew a pair of tits, and it's spreading its legs WIDE open for you!"
Seis shoots for the wall, tackling the wall down.
Spike dives back into the couch cushions, "Dive! Dive!"
Jane watches his legs kick in the air before he vanishes flawlessly into the couch. Then she shrugs, and links an arm through June's with a wink.
June blushes and looks away. "I've never been on a date before..."
"You want no secret… Neither have I." Jane leans in car and nuzzles the side of her head tenderly.
"Great, two first timers..." Counterpunch sighs.
Jane rolls her eyes, "let me rephrase that, my first official date. Up to now I'm just meeting girls at bars, and taking them home."
"Wow, you miracle worker." He smiles, offering his elbow to her.
Jane links her free arm through his, "Now where to?"
"I'd say bar, but that's too easy. This is Soleanna, I'll show you some sights." He smiles.
Jane purrs, and slips one arm around June's waist.
June blushes more and looks at the ground.
Jane rolls her eyes, "oh come on June, it's not like and going to eat you… Tonight."
She blushes and whimpers. "E-eat me?"
"Alright, you're scaring her." Counterpunch chuckles. He leads them to a canal and pays the man, getting on the boat.
"I'm just teasing you June, lighten up." Jane backs off a little bit.
"I'm not used to talk like that..." She blushes and sits in the boat.
Jane sits by her, "Virgin too? Have you even had your first kiss yet?"
She blushes brightly and looks at the water, her echidna tail twitching nervously.
"I'll take that as a 'no,'" Jane says, and sits next to her. "Can I fix that for you?" She closes her eyes, and then leans in closer to June with her lips puckered slightly.
She whimpers and pushes Jane away. "N-no... I'm not ready for that..."
Jane sighs, "that is such a shame, you're probably the most adorable girl ever seen."
"Thanks..." She blushes.
Jane smiles, and says, "don't worry about a thing sugar, I ain't going to press the matter if you are just going to squirm like a newborn calf."
"Thanks." She sighs, feeling a bit better.
Jane winks, "just let me know if you change your mind, okay?"
She blushes and nods quickly. "Okay..."
Jane turns to Counterpunch, "So was your whole plan to turn me Bi just getting me on to a boat?"
"You've been missing tons of romantic views, so I guess not." He scowls, but his eyes sparkle. "I guess I'll have to do more."
Jane looks around, "What?! Where?!"
He chuckles and points to a fountain shooting rainbow mist into the air.
Jane stares, jaw dropping. She reaches over to put a hand on June's head, and turns her head in the direction of the fountain.
June turns, and her jaw drops too. "Whoa..."
"Yeah," Jane nods in agreement.
"Wait for it..." Counterpunch smiles more.
The spray disappears, and it starts shooting colored streams of water on beautiful arcs and twirls, seeming to defy gravity.
Jane is absolutely floored at the display.
"It's so beautiful...!" June breathes.
"Yeah, during the day there are dancers. But during the evening hours, it's more spectacular due to the lights." He smiles.
Jane smiles, and unconsciously her hand covers June's. "It's pretty, but it's not enough to make me change my sexuality," she looks at him with a raised eyebrow.
"Enough to get you in a good mood though." He smiles and motions to the man driving the boat, and the driver moves the boat forward.
Jane decides at that point to pay less attention to the echidna next to her, and more to her surroundings.
They go under various bridges, Counterpunch picking out various beautiful landmarks and explaining them to the two girls.
Jane has to admit after having worked with Smoke for a long time, this guy knows the area like the back of his hand. Impressive…
"And that's the entire city. At least, that the tourists know about." He smiles.
"There's more?" June blinks, astounded.
"Of course. Those are the highlights of Soleanna. There are plenty of native gems. And then underground beauties." He smiles at Jane.
Jane it raises an eyebrow, "are you sure you're not just saying this to get us to go to someplace alone, and dark?"
"If I was, I'm sure you would've figured it out by now." He asks simply.
"Well I just did say something about it, so that would imply that I did figure it out."
"...I'm lost." June blinks.
Counterpunch sighs. "Well then... moving on." He motions to the driver, and the driver pulls them up to a step off point. Counterpunch hops off and offers his hands to the ladies.
Jane takes one hand to support herself as she climbs out of the gondola.
June follows suit, quickly letting go of his hand when she's on land.
Counterpunch smiles. "And now, the plazas."
Jane smiles, and links her arms through both of theirs. "Lead on!"
He chuckles and leads them to a large market far from the main square. There were no tourists, only townspeople.
Jane notices this right off the bat, "why is this place not filled with tourists?"
"This is a "private market". Only locals know about this place, and they're not that keen on giving away their rarer gems." He motions to a specialty Extreme Gear store.
"All," Jane nods and understanding. Most big cities have a place like this, and it's usually a good place for informants, thieves, mercenaries, etc. to work at.
"But this is a standard one, not a secret. An occasional tourist will find this place." He shrugs and leads them to an exotic food stall.
Jane eyes the wears there, feeling a little bit peckish.
"Pick something, my treat." He smiles.
June picks a green square fruit and bites into it, her eyes lighting up. "Mm... delicious!"
Jane tilts her head curiously, "what does it taste like?"
"Like a giant Fruit Gusher! Here!" She offers it to Jane, her eyes sparkling.
Jane accepts it, taking a bite...
"Are y'all sure we are in Soleanna, and not heaven?" She feels like she wants to start drooling.
He chuckles. "It's a pretty sweet city. You pick a fruit too."
Jane picks up a red one, and bites into it.
June tilts her head. "Well?"
"It's like an apple... No, more like applesauce with a little extra sugar."
Counterpunch smiles. "Now, did you know you two are actually eating Chaos fruit?"
Jane blinks, "I thought that was just for Chao..."
"Nope. We use them for Chao because they love the stuff, and too much sugar is bad for us. Besides... now that you've tasted them, can you resist having them? It's like an addiction because they're so good." He smiles, looking at the fruit.
Jane eyes it, and then with a sigh sets it aside before the craving can set in too much. "That's a first..."
"Well... one for the road can't hurt can it...?" June reaches for a blue one shaped like a Chao head.
Counterpunch quickly grabs her wrist. "Woah, not that one!"
June froze. "Why?"
"What? Does it turn you into a Chao?" Jane tilts her head.
"Probably less of a punishment. No, it makes the Chao fertile. So... it's gonna make you super horny." He chuckles.
Jane smirks and immediately pockets one, you never know when something like that will come in handy.
He chuckles and pays for that as well as June picks another Square Fruit.
James smiles, "okay then, what's next?" She's honestly very curious this point.
"The celebration of the sun god Solaris. It used to be a main attraction, but recently with all of the religion and politics going on, they chose to just make it a private event." He takes their hands and leads them over a bridge where a huge unlit torch is seen in the distance.
Jane loops her on through his, and a whole set her free hand for June. "Come on, this looks like fun!"
He chuckles and leads them down a lantern-lit road with a few treat selling vendors. "Want some funnel cake on a stick?" He offers.
"Yes please..." June says shyly.
Jane nods, "Same here."
He gets them each one while he gets himself a red velvet funnel cake.
"Mm..." June enjoys her snack happily.
Jane purrs with her tail wagging happily. She has to admit that this guy has his sweet side, but so does a certain other Informant she knows, and THAT cat only brings it out when he wants something.
He looks at his watch. "We have a few more minutes before we're early for seats. Wanna look around or sit?"
"You're the guide, you pick," Jane replies, sweetly putting an arm around June's middle.
"Hm..." He glances one more time at his watch. "I think we'll make it." He leads them to a glowing reflective pool in a grassy area.
June peers in, blinking. "It's so clear..."
Jane bends over it, "so what's so special about it?"
"It is said that the pure of heart can access powers beyond their wildest dreams by touching the water." He smiles.
Jane looks back at him, and raises one eyebrow. "No bullshit?"
He shrugs. "I dunno, it's a townsfolk prophecy."
Jane nods, and turns to June. "You try sugar, I'm about as innocent as Smoke."
She blinks. "You sure?"
Jane nods, and winks.
She gulps and hesitantly places her hand on the water.
Counterpunch watches with interest.
Nothing happens.
She sighs and pulls her hand back. "I guess I'm not pure enough..."
"Shame..." Jane shrugs, and puts a finger in.
Counterpunch shrugs. "It IS just a folk tale..."
"Sugah, in our world legends are never just legends."
"Girl, in our world, legends aren't legends for the legendary." He says simply, glancing at the pool.
"Touché." She stands, "So now to our seats?"
"Yep. Let's go." He smiles and offers his arms again.
Jane takes a hold of it with her hand, and takes June's with her other hand.
He smiles and leads them to a place near the giant torch where they could easily see the ceremony.
Jane looks around, holding the two of them a little closer.
Counterpunch checks his watch. "We have an hour... anything you two need to do?"
"Nature calls," Jane replies.
"It does." June agrees, looking around for a bathroom.
"Alright. The gift shop over there has a public restroom." Counterpunch motions to the restroom.
Jane gives him a grateful hug before she heads for the restroom.
June follows.
When they return, the entire area surrounding the torch was filled with natives.
Jane helps June squeeze through back to Counterpunch. "We miss anythin'?"
"Just the place filling up." He had snagged three fold up chairs for them.
Jane sits on one, and stretches while arcing her back. She knows she has a nice body, and teasing the immediate populace is a hobby wherever she goes.
Counterpunch watches her stretch before pulling a claw weapon from his trenchcoat, moving it inches from a guy who was getting a little too close to Jane. "Yo, no touchie." He says simply. The man backs away with a gulp.
She snickers, "Thanks, but any idjot fool enough to cop a feel on a woman pack'n heat's got what's comin' to him." She pats her pistols fondly.
"Yeah? Well, this is our date, not his." He flicks his wrist, and the weapon disappears.
Jane smiles, leaning over, and kissing his cheek. "You at least deserve that after all you've done tonight."
He blushes slightly. "Thanks."
Jane leans over him, letting her boobs graze his chest as she pecks June on the cheek too. "An' you deserve that for bein' so dang cute!"
Both echidnas blush.
"Er... enjoy the show!" Counterpunch clears his throat, a touch flustered.
Jane smiles in satisfaction as she takes her seat again to watch the festivities.
A boat full of dancers float down the canal as torches light up the path. On the bow, a young Overlander princess stands peacefully with her eyes closed.
"That's Princess Elise. She's the princess of Soleanna." Counterpunch whispers to them.
Jane frowns, "I remember Smoke talk'n 'bout her, can't really put a finger on what it was he said though..."
"She knows where the Flames of Disaster are held." Counterpunch says.
Jane gawks, "Iblis?!"
"That's the one." Counterpunch confirms.
"Day-um..." She eyes the Princess up and down.
He watches her and silently pouts, turning back to the event.
The boat docks on the isle with the torch, and Elise walks up to a servant with a torch. She prays with the torch before lighting the giant torch.
Jane watches, transfixed by the fire. Once the torch is completely lit she smiles. Then she gives her seat to a nearby elderly lady before perching herself on Counterpunch's knee.
Counterpunch blinks, startled. He looks up at her questioningly.
She smiles down at him, and then leans back into him. "This has got to be the best first date in the history of first dates."
He smiles gently, wrapping his arms around her waist. "And if you're not tired, there's still plenty of moonlit attractions. None of which involve beds, if that's a concern."
She purrs, and glances over at June. "If Sugah-Lips over there can stay awake long enough to enjoy them with us." She swishes her tail over into June's lap while nuzzling Counterpunch's neck.
June yawns and looks at her watch, blushing slightly. "If we aren't back at the hotel at three, there will be two people to be blamed for my inability to work a laptop."
"Well then, we have six more hours then." He smiles gently.
"More than enough time for fun," Jane purrs.
"All kinds." Counterpunch smiles.
She lightly slaps his chest, and chuckles. "Still lesbian you..."
"Still six hours left." He counters easily, patting her leg as he watches Elise pray to Iblis.
Jane doesn't mind the contact, he hasn't been rude to her so she thinks he's earned it. Though she still plays her tail along June's lap.
June blushes as Jane's tail gently rides up her skirt, and she adjusts quietly.
Soon the event is over, and he smiles up at Jane. "Gonna stay up there for a while?"
"Depends if you know where to go yet," she replies.
"Of course." He smiles.
She gets up, brushing her tail under June's skirt for a second.
June squeaks, quickly getting up to her feet and brushing her skirt down nervously.
Counterpunch stands with a chuckle.
Jane folds her hands behind her back, "Whoops, sorry June..."
"I-it's fine..." She stutters, blushing furiously.
Jane hugs her, "Oh you poor thing... You got cute panties though. White lace?"
Her face went deep orange. "I-you-my-" She sputters, shrinking.
Janehugs her a little tighter, "I'd flash mine to make us even, but I don't wear any."
Counterpunch smiles more as June turns more of a red-orange, sputtering more.
Jane winks, "Wanna see anyways?" It's a genuine offer.
June whimpers and looks away, trying and failing to rub the embarrassment from her face.
"I think that's a yes, honestly." Counterpunch smiles, enjoying watching the other echidna squirm.
Jane giggles, "Then let's find a secluded place real fast..." She links an arm through June's, and winks at Counterpunch.
"I know one." Counterpunch smiles, walking to a shed and opening the door.
Jane drags June inside with a giggle.
Counterpunch looks around before closing the door behind them with a smirk.
Jane whispers in his ear, "Wonder how long it takes before she faints..."
"She's a computer geek. Everything she's seen is behind a screen. Flash your kitten and she's out." Counterpunch murmurs, pulling a lantern from under his trenchcoat and turning it on, illuminating the tiny space.
Jane purrs loudly as she faces June, "No worries Sugah, ain't gonna be no touch'n unless you want to. I won't mind."
June shivers, terrified. "J-Jane...?!"
Jane frowns in concern, "Sweetheart, ain't nothin' to be scared of. I ain't got nothin' you don't."
"I... I want Smoke... to see me..." She looks at the floor, embarrassed beyond words. "See... me first..."
"Ah..." Jane smiles, "So that's it! Sugah name one time tonight when anyone asked you to bare herself, eh? I'm just want'n to let in a little air downstairs on my person, not yours."
"But... isn't that wrong...?" She looks up at Jane.
"How is it wrong?" Jane puts her hands on her hips, "Plus we've got readers begging for more fan service if they've read this far in the chapter."
Both Counterpunch and June blink, confused.
"Well... okay..." June says hesitantly.
Jane leans on the wall farthest from June, and unbuckled her gun belts, letting them drop to the floor.
June blushes heavily as Counterpunch whistles. "Damn..."
Jane smiles, and undoes the buttons on the front of her blouse so she can let it swing open. The cold air mixed with her excitement has an interesting effect on two points in particular.
Counterpunch's eyes widen, and his jaw drops. "...I can see why Drunk Boy is always after you."
June nods, her eyes just as wide.
Jane smiles, "June, would you like to come have a touch…?"
June gulps, slowly nodding.
Jane crooks a finger at the other female, and sends Counterpunch a quick glance.
Counterpunch watches the exchange, his tail wagging as he starts to drool.
June gulps and slowly walks up, reaching out...
Jane crosses her arms behind her back, and arches her spine to present her bare chest more to the virgin echidna.
June pulls away slightly, blushing more, before reaching out and placing her hands on Jane's soft orbs.
Jane purrs a little louder, "You're being very gentle, thank you."
She blushes, biting her lip and starting to rub Jane's supple breasts.
Jane close her eyes, and moans little and pleasure. "Do you like them?"
"Th-they're very soft..." She blushes more.
"Mm... Hey, why don't you be one that undoes my pants? Guy or girl, most people find that hot."
"N-no... can't Counterpunch do that instead?" She blushes heavily. In all honesty, she didn't want to stop touching Jane's breasts.
"nope… my private spaces are girls-only," she says. She can tell that June is happy where she is, and Jane isn't against leaving her there for a few more minutes.
June glances at Counterpunch and forces a smile. "Looks like you're gonna be left out, sorry."
"No, no. I'm quite fine where this is anyways." Counterpunch shakes his head quickly, drooling.
"Yeah, he can have his total pic of girls." Jane slowly moves her hands over her head, and winks at June. "Are you sure you don't want to let your hands go a little lower…?"
June hesitates, licking her lips. "You sure...?"
"I wouldn't be asking if I wasn't."
She slowly nods and gently runs her thin hands down to Jane's belt, carefully unbuckling it.
She smiles at this, and then starts to rub her own breasts. Jane smiles up at June as sly as a fox can be.
June blushes deeply as she unbuttons Jane's jeans, slowly pulling them down.
Jane purrs as her rawhide pants hit the floor, and she steps out of them. "Well…?"
Counterpunch lets out a wolf whistle. "C'mon June, there's no denying she's got the goods."
June silently nods, eyeing Jane's flower with a deep blush.
Jane chuckles, and spreads her feet a bit so June can see more. "Feel free to enjoy it..."
June gulps and slowly brushes her index finger on Jane's lips.
Jane twitches, and her tail sweeps the floor happily. Jeez she'd love to get her hands all over this girl, but she has too much respect for June, Smoke, and herself.
June whimpers and backs away. "That's enough... I'm done..."
Jane pouts, "Aw, but you got me so bothered..."
"If you want more, I'm sure he'll help you out." She motions to Counterpunch. "But I'm done..."
Jane looks hurt... And oddly enough feels it too.
"But... here." She looks embarrassedly away as she lifts her dress, revealing her very skimpy white lace panties.
Jane sighs, and starts getting dressed. "Forget it."
Counterpunch scowls. "Darn... it was going so well too..."
Jane finishes buttoning up her top, "Why don't you head back to the hotel June?" There's a sharp cold edge to her words.
June whimpers. "I..." She turns silent, looking at the ground. She silently walks to the door and walks out.
Jane huffs angrily as she picks up her pants. She knows that wasn't fair to her, but... Well... Rejection still hurts.
Counterpunch stays well off to the side, not wanting to make Jane's mood any worse. "Er... I'd... better give June a map so she doesn't get lost. I'll let you get dressed." He steps out of the shack and closes the door.
Jane puts on her gun belts, and leans on the wall, gathering her thoughts. What should she do now?
A few minutes later Counterpunch peeks back in. "Ready to go?"
"...I know that wasn't fair, but...it's like... It felt like she was saying I wasn't good enough for her..."
Counterpunch blinks and slowly walks up. "More like... she didn't feel she was good enough for you." He says gently.
Jane shakes her head, "No way Sugah, she... You heard her, she's got her eye on Smoke. I..." She sighs, and covers her eyes with her hat.
"Hey... There are other fish in the sea." He gently hugs her. "She just got uncomfortable with the situation. We talked outside... she really wanted to move forward, but she didn't want to hurt you by pulling away later. She just needs space, maybe a date with Smoke."
Jane sighs, "Yer probably right... And the night is young."
"Yeah. I'm sure there are plenty of unsuspecting women out there for us to party with." He leans in and brushes her cheek with his lips before pulling away. "How about we go find 'em, eh?"
She raises her hat with a twinkle in her eye, "Do let's!"
He chuckles and links his arm with hers. "There's the cowgirl I remember. I suppose since we're shifting focus a little... I know the best club in Soleanna, and it's only known by the locals. You know, to prevent tourist lawsuits and stuff."
"Then why are we still standing around here for?!" She purrs as she wags her tail.
"Maybe I'm still enjoying the sights?" He smiles at her before leading her outside.
Cinder sighs with a stretch as they make it back to the hotel. Then she pauses at the Chi upstairs. "Great, Seis is drunk again."
"So... go upstairs, or look around some more?" Chaos tilts his head, his dreadlocks blowing in the breeze.
"If we go upstairs I may kill Seis," she deadpans. "He's in a... Mood."
"Yeah, but that echidna that got you riled up has his interest, and I don't sense them back yet." Chaos says, looking around before relaxing and dropping his echidna disguise.
"No, he was too busy entertaining..." Cinder frowns, and turns, "June?"
June freezes, about to touch the handle to the door of the hotel.
Cinder frowns, "What's troubling you?"
She looks like she's about to say nothing, but she pauses and sighs. "Oh... just a date that turned sour."
Cinder sighs, and turns to Chaos, "Why don't we go inside for some cocoa or something?"
"Okay." He nods and opens the door for the ladies.
Cinder puts a hand on June's shoulder, and steers her towards the cafe in the hotel.
Chaos follows, putting up his disguise past the clerk.
Cinder sits at a table, "So why not tell us what happened?"
She sighs and sits. "The date was going well... then Jane wanted to show me her goods."
Cinder sighs, "Sounds like typical Jane."
"Well, we got caught up in the moment, and I wanted more... but I want Smoke to be my first. He's so charming... There's something about him..." She frowns. "It's weird... like I know he's the one..."
Cinder laughs, "Indeed! Smoke could charm a cobra out of its fangs!"
"That actually happened," Smoke walks over. "I needed a little cobra venom, and she was all too willing to hand them over."
June blushes heavily, looking away. She didn't know Smoke was around to hear.
Smoke pats her back, "So then you stopped it cold turkey? To Jane that translates as rejection..."
She remains silent, looking at the table.
Smoke rubs her neck, "But... Pretty sweet of you. I'll help clear the air with Jane later."
She nods quietly.
Chaos glances between the two of them. "In the meantime, I'm sure Smoke here wouldn't mind taking you for a late dinner."
June's head shoots up. "N-no! I mean, I'm sure he's busy with clients and-and..."
"Nope, let's go!" he links and arm through hers, and gently start pulling her towards the exit.
Cinder waves with a smile.
June protests feebly, meekly following the cat out the door.
"Well, that's taken care of... I still wanna know what cocoa is." Chaos says slowly.
"Hot cocoa is a beverage of melted chocolate mixed with milk to the consistency of a drink, some enjoy it with marshmallows floating in it."
"Sounds delicious and romantic." He smiles gently.
Cinder nods, and gives a few rings to a waiter as two mugs are delivered. "Careful not to burn your tongue," Cinder warns.
He smiles and shifts his hand to water, dipping a finger into his drink. He waits a few seconds before pulling it out. "It's the perfect temperature now." He lifts it up and gives it a taste. His eyes widen. "Mm..."
Cinder rolls her eyes with a smile, removing her mask to enjoy the drink.
He smiles at her. "And the mask comes off again."
She chuckles, "Would it make sense if I told you that I've been wearing it for so long that NOT wearing it makes me feel naked? It's like someone who wears a watch for a long time, then suddenly stops."
"I understand. It just makes me sad that your beauty is kept hidden all because of a stupid boy." He smiles gently, sipping his cocoa.
"Live and learn," she says, raising her mug before taking a sip.
He watches her silently for a few minutes. "Have you ever... thought about returning to your grandfather's dojo?"
"At first," she replies. "But I have a new life, a responsibility to the warriors I have trained."
He nods quietly. "And... to me?"
"Naturally, that goes without saying."
He smiles and reaches across, placing his watery hand on hers.
She smiles at the contact, and sets her mug side so she can put her free hand on top of his. "I have put some thought towards your proposal…"
He blinks, looking into her eyes. "And...?"
"… I have looked at it from both perspectives. One is the historical, how the clan that was most at your mercy suddenly it's last defendant becomes your mate. I don't wish to see it this way, but as the eons well by that is how it will be seen. And on that point I don't mind." She meets his gaze with a smile, "Because on a personal note we have much in common. We have both done terrible things, and's we have both resigned ourselves to our solitude for as long as the cosmos would allow us to exist… Until now."
He smiles gently, nodding silently for her to continue.
But she has said all she wants to say. She stands, and moving away around the table, bending over with lips slightly puckered as she kisses him sweetly.
He kisses her back, holding her head in place with a gentle hand.
When the touch finally breaks, she takes a breath and says with her eyes closed, "my answer is yes… thank you for letting it be my choice."
"It's not a choice if it isn't given." He smiles gently.
She hugs him, and then throws a chair over to sit right next to him.
He chuckles and looks around before shifting out of his echidna form.
She takes his hand gently, and leans into him with a purr.
He bubbles gently, rubbing her back.
Cinder can honestly say that this has to be the best day of her life…
"You know... One thing that has astounded me about this time is that little weird box with people inside..." He tilts his head.
Cinder frowns, "Pardon?"
"You know, the box with the shooting and romance and people in it?" He points to a TV showing the news.
"The Television?" Cinder tilts her head.
"Yeah, that. Can you show me how to use that? I love watching the little shows like Transformers." He tilts his head, looking like he's smiling.
Cinder chuckles, "Of course, and once you master the Remote Control you will officially be a modern man."
"Because I'm totally modern." He chuckles, hugging her.
"The longer you are in this world the more you will be," Cinder replies.
"I don't care, as long as I'm with you." He nuzzles her cheek.
"And I you..." She nuzzles him back, and stands, "I do believe there was a television in our room?"
"I think so." He shifts into his echidna form and takes her hand with a smile.
They walk up to their room, and Cinder eyes the movie collection. "...Well they have the new Transformers movies, but I favor "Return of the Dragon" with Bruce Lee... Opinions?"
"Maybe something that can teach us to love better?" He smiles gently. "Because we... probably kinda suck at it..."
Cinder snorts a bit, "If there were a working manual for how to be romantic the world would have less wars I expect. We will make our own way to love one another."
"Still... A little help would be nice." He nuzzles her cheek with his.
"Are you asking me to find a romantic comedy, or a porno?" She raises an eyebrow.
"What's a porno?" He blinks, tilting his head.
"Slang for pornography," Cinder replies. "Recordings of others partaking in carnal acts."
"Oh... not that." He blushes and looks away.
Cinder chuckles, "I meant it as a tease, Dear." She looks over the films, and raises an eyebrow at one title.
"Smoke told me this one was rather funny, if not wholesome in the loosest sense of the word. 'We're the Millers.' It's about a man you brings together a group of people to pose as a family so he may illegally smuggle marijuana over international borders."
"Kinda sounds like us... I think... Who's Marijuana?" He tilts his head.
"It's a plant," she says, gesturing for him to join her at the DVD player so she can demonstrate how to operate it. "It is dried, chopped finely, and then rolled into paper. People light one end with fire until it's just... cinders."
She rolls her eyes at the reference, and continues, "Then they inhale the smoke through the I burnt part. It makes one rather lucid, and studies show it stimulates parts of the brain one normally doesn't use."
"Oh... the daydream plant." He nods in recognition as he watches her curiously.
"Correct," she says as she indicates the Play button as the one with a single triangle. "Though personally speaking I abhor such substances, too many people use them as an excuse to get away with idiotic behavior."
"Like Seis, but with liquid." He wrinkles his nose.
"Exactly," she says as she heads for the couch between the TV, and the bed. "Which is why I said if I saw him I would kill him. His chi felt like one when making love... But there was only his chi in that state."
"Well... I can honestly say he seems more of a force to be reckoned with when drunk than sober." He moves next to her, dropping his echidna diguise, taking off his hat and tossing it on the bed.
As the movie begins Cinder has an idea... A rather bold one for her. She swallows slowly, and the. Takes a deep breath, slowly letting it out. She takes a nearby couch pillow, and sets it in Chaos's lap before resting her head upon it, raising her legs onto the couch.
She can feel her heart pumping, knowing she is completely at his mercy.
Chaos freezes before slowly looking down at her, severely startled as he bubbles frantically.
She keeps her eyes on the screen with all her determination, waiting to see what he will do...
He slowly places a hand on her waist and his other hand on her head, petting her hair as he shifts uncomfortably.
Cinder blinks at the hand on her hip, but the one on her head has her body untensing slowly.
"I'm not sure if you want... it... but I'm not willing to do anything to you unless you tell me to." He says quietly, petting his hand on her waist gently.
Cinder looks down at his hand, and says nothing. Instead she puts her hand on his knee, and watches the television.
He bubbles a bit more before leaning down, guiding her face to his before pressing his face on her lips.
Cinder feels herself purr, and her cheeks feel a little hotter.
He shifts slightly, gaining a mouth and kissing her deeper, petting her cheek slowly.
She's a bit startled by a moan coming out of her.
He smiles gently as he pulls away, murmuring, "Do you want me...?" He kisses her again, deeper this time.
She does... She thinks she does. All her life she thought she would never take a lover, and so she isn't mentally prepared in the /slightest/ for this. As much as she resents admitting it, she's frightened.
He sees the fear in her eyes, and hesitates, restraining himself from going further.
She stares up at him, "D-did I do something wrong?" And did she really just stutter?
"No... but I don't want to do something wrong." He smiles gently at her.
She sighs, and closes her eyes, "I knew it... I'm a fighter, not a Lover..."
"Someday. Someday." He smiles and kisses her again.
She purrs for as long as the contact lasts. "Someday," she agrees.
He smiles and lifts her, liquidizing and moving into the same position as her behind her, wrapping her arms around her waist and he kisses the nape of her neck.
She closes her eyes, and hugs the pillow to her chest.
He snuggles behind her, placing his chin on her head lovingly.
She purrs, and tries to keep her tail from wagging, lest it... Rub him.
He doesn't notice this attempt as he breathes a sigh of contentedness and focuses on the movie.
