Chapter 25: Venus's Agenda!

Within the walls of Ostia Antica lies Venus' fortress. Venus was in his throne.

Venus began to think about Kouga.

"Kou-Kou. What makes you so special and unique than the rest of those Bronze Saints?" Venus thought.

Venus felt something from within his heart.

"What is this feeling?" Venus asked.

Venus began to touch his chest.

"No! I must not show any kind of weakness!" Venus thought.

Venus was feeling a bit tense about the whole situation.

Then, Venus looked up.

"You may enter." Venus said.

Venus's subjects entered the throne.

"Venus-sama." Almas said.

Almas, Era, Mea, Tetra, Sauk and Saberio all bowed down in respect.

"My loyal subjects. I could have asked for better ones." Venus said.

"We are sorry that those inevitable Bronzes are getting in the way of your grand idealism, master." Tetra said.

"It's fine. Actually, I am more interested in that annoying Pegasus." Venus said.

"He has more power than the rest of his companions. That makes even more curious about him." Venus explained, flocking his hair.

"But…" Venus said, in a very serious tone.

"Desperate times called for serious matters." Venus said.

"I will erase him permanently from this dreaded Earth. He won't get away with meddling with my glorious movement any longer.

Venus smacked his fist very hard.

"Venus-sama." Almas said.

"Era, Mea, since Athena will figure out about our whereabouts, I want you to be the first two to take care of the Bronzes." Venus explained.

"Venus-sama, are you sure?" Era asked.

"I have faith in your abilities." Venus replied.

"For your sake, I hope that I am wrong at the very slightest." Venus explained.

"Thank you, Venus-sama!" Era hollered.

"I promise you that we'll prevail for you, my lord." Mea said, bowing gracefully for her master.

Era and Mea were dismissed to take care of the Bronze Saints.

"Those two are practically overjoyed about this." Saberio explained.

"Well, they're the only two females within our ranks." Tetra explained.

"For the rest of you, you're dismissed for now." Venus said.

"As you wish, Venus-sama." Almas, Tetra, Sauk and Saberio said in unison.

Venus's subjects immediately left him alone.

"Venus-sama seemed a bit tense back there. I wonder what's wrong." Sauk said.

"Maybe having the pressure of being a young warlord?" Saberio asked.

Almas looked back in the other direction.

"Venus-sama." Almas thought.

Venus was gracefully resting in his throne.

"Venus-sama." Sonia said.

"Didn't notice you over there. You can come out, Sonia." Venus said.

Sonia emerged from out of the shadows.

"Master, are you feeling well?" Sonia asked.

"Why do you ask of that?" Venus asked.

"N-nothing. I was just wondering considering your deep mood." Sonia replied.

"Venus-sama, I want to go out and handled my brother and the Bronze Saints." Sonia said.

"I have a score to settle with the Lionet Saint." Sonia explained.

Venus began to twitch a bit.

"It's that an act of defiance that I'm hearing right now?" Venus asked.

"N-no. I was just…" Sonia replied.

"Are you defying me, Sonia?" Venus asked.

"I'm sure that you're having second thoughts about me." Venus explained.

"Your own father and mother did not even want you." Venus said.

"That's not true!" Sonia snapped.

Sonia then realized her mistake.

"I'm sorry, Venus-sama." Sonia said.

Venus got off his seat and came close to Sonia.

"I can't believe I am the shorter one here." Venus said.

"Moreover, Sonia. Are you forgetting who was the one who resurrected you in the first place?" Venus asked.

Sonia looked down a bit.

"That's right. It was me." Venus replied.

"Don't forget whose side you're really on." Venus said, in a very sinister tone.

"I'll let you do whatever you want for now." Venus said.

"But, do not cross me ever again." Venus said.

"Do you understand me, Sonia?" Venus asked.

"Yes. I do, Venus-sama." Sonia replied.

"Proceed then." Venus said.

"I won't fail you, master." Sonia said.

Sonia vanished.

Venus looked up, having something on his mind.

Venus began to walk around the hallways.

Then, Venus came across a mirror.

Venus saw a reflection of Kouga.

Venus gritted his teeth.

"Kou-Kou. You." Venus thought.

The reflection of Kouga faded away.

"We are not alike." Venus thought.

Then, Venus felt something from within his heart.

Venus clutched his chest.

"Must not show any weakness." Venus said.

"Venus-sama." Almas said.

"Almas. It's only you." Venus said.

"Are you feeling alright, Venus-sama?" Almas asked.

"I'm fine. Just feeling the pressure, that's all." Venus replied.

"I am not certain that is the case." Almas explained.

"You're being troubled by something, Venus-sama. I could feel it in your eyes." Almas explained.

"I guess that it doesn't pass you one bit." Venus said.

"The ideal of destruction. I want it to be perfect. My father, Venus the third tried to make it a reality. As did with my grandfather before him, Venus the second. Along with my two ancestors who carried the name of Venus." Venus explained.

"It is my destiny as the most recent Venus to not fail at all cost. I will make it my own path to carried on what it was bestowed to me. Failure is not an option for me anymore." Venus explained.

Almas became shocked on what his young master has become.

"You were once a very strongly happy boy, Venus-sama. But now, you're now fueled with the empathy of darkness." Almas explained.

"Is that a good thing?" Venus asked.

"If that's what you really desired, Venus-sama." Almas replied.

"Venus-sama." Almas said, putting his hand on Venus's shoulder.

"I promised your father that I would take care of you. As your legal guardian and foster brother." Almas explained.

"I promised that I won't let anyone, not even those Bronze Saints will hurt you." Almas explained.

"Almas." Venus said.

"Hey, you can stop treating me like some little kid. I can pretty much take care of myself." Venus explained.

Almas nodded his head.

"Yes. I know you too well, Venus-sama." Almas said.

"If there's anything you want to talk about, just come find me, Venus-sama." Almas explained.

"I'll take you up on that offer." Venus said.

Almas slightly smiled as he left Venus alone in peace.

Then, Venus looked upon the mirror again.

He saw another reflection of Kouga.

Venus gritted his teeth.

"Kou-Kou!" Venus hollered.

Venus broke the mirror with his fist.

"There are two plates of souls." Venus thought.

"One of light, which is you, Kou-Kou." Venus thought.

A reflection of Kouga was behind of Venus.

"And one of darkness, which is me." Venus thought.

"Our goals are different and they can never be compatible as you think." Venus thought.

"I will gain the upper hand against you, Kou-Kou. I'll bet my life on it." Venus thought.

"I will eradicate you. Because I am a god. A killer of myth." Venus thought.
