Inside Garnet's room, Ruby stands up, surprised with what she just heard.

"WHAT!?" Ruby looks at Sapphire, who is sit on the floor.

"Yeah… I want to have a baby with you."

"Sapphire, I don't know. Y-you know, I am not…I am…" Ruby tries to say something, but her head is in a whirl of thoughts.

"Afraid? Lost? You don't want kids? Just tell me." Sapphire stands up.

"I am a worried about it and…" Ruby holds Sapphire's hand. "I want to have kids. I just think I don't know how to take care of a kid. We have to talk with Garnet and… It's complicated."

"We can do this… together."

Ruby hugs Sapphire. "Let me think about it for a bit. I just need a few minutes"

"Alright. Just keep in mind that I am not trying to make you to do anything. I want it to be our choice together, in agreement to each other." Sapphire hugs Ruby back.

They sit on the floor again, against the wall. Ruby lies down her head on Sapphire's legs, while the blue gem starts to sing their song.

"…you are here too. We are here together…" Sapphire smiles.

She finishes the song and looks at Ruby, who is smiling and playing with Sapphire's hair. A few minutes later Ruby finally says something.

"I love your voice a-and…"

"And?"

"And I- I guess our kid will like it too." Ruby looks at Sapphire, who smiles.

The blue gem hugs her lover. "Thanks, Ruby. I love you."

"I can't say 'no'. But, now, let's fuse and let Garnet know that she is gonna be 'away' for a while." Ruby says.

"Let's go outside." Sapphire leads them towards the room.

While that, inside Lapis and Peridot's room, the technician is working on one of her robonoids and Lapis is watching their daughter.

"Peridot?" Lapis picks up Emerald, who was moving in her sleep. She wakes up her daughter, who she figured out was having a nightmare. "Mom is here sweetie." She stands up and starts to walk around with the kid.

"Yes, Lapis?" Peridot looks at her wife. "Is there something wrong with her?"

"No, it is not her. She was having a nightmare, but I'm calming her down. What is wrong is something else."

"Jasper?"

"Yes. I need to talk to her."

"No way. I know you and I know her. Let Sapphire do whatever she wants with Jasper, but you are not releasing her and having a conversation. She is, well, she is Jasper."

"But, she is not acting like Jasper."

"To me… She is acting like herself."

"I don't know. I was thinking about our fight and she didn't fight me back."

"I don't care about it, Lapis. You are gonna stay here with me and our daughter. You are not going anywhere else." Peridot tries to be stronger than Lapis at this point.

However, a few minutes later, they are inside Garnet's room, against Peridot's will.

"Are you sure they are not here?" Peridot asks her wife, trying to keep Emerald calmed down.

"Sure. I saw them outside."

"This is a bad idea, bad, bad idea."

"You had the bad idea of taking Emerald with us. I don't think she wants to see Jasper that soon."

"Well, she couldn't be alone at our room. It is not safe."

"Here it is not safe either."

"I can't believe you want to meet the one who kidnapped our daughter."

"Peridot, there is something going on with her otherwise she would have shattered Emerald." Lapis looks around to find her bubble. "I want to find out. We have been on Earth for some years now and she spent all that time alone on this planet. Who knows what happened to her during that time?"

"You know, it is not a nice thing to go inside of a room without asking." Peridot looks around and then at her daughter.

"It is gonna be fast. Just let me find her bubble…Hah, here it is." Lapis holds her bubble and releases Jasper.

"Ugh… where am I?" Jasper asks, confused.

"Inside of our base." Lapis tells her.

"What do you want?" Jasper sits and crosses her arms.

"I just wanna talk." Lapis kneels on the floor.

"About what?"

"About you. What happened?"

"What do you mean?" Jasper raises an eyebrow.

"She is worried because you didn't fight her back today." Peridot tells the orange gem.

"Really?"

"Yes." Lapis reaches eye to eye with Jasper.

"Well, I didn't fight you back because I was only one against all of you." Jasper lies.

"Why are you even talking with me now? Why aren't you trying to escape?" Lapis asks.

"Okay, mistress diplomatic gem, I didn't want to fight and I don't want to escape, okay?" Jasper closes her eyes.

Lapis looks at Peridot and gives a "I was right" look.

"Why?" Lapis looks again at Jasper.

"I don't have anything to do outside and I failed on my own mission, I could not kill Emerald. I don't know what your brat did to me, but I looked at her and I could not do that." Jasper tells them, frustrated.

"So, she is the reason for all of that… You softened your heart, Jasper." Lapis smiles.

"No, I didn't." Jasper punches the ground.

"Yes, you did." Peridot teases Jasper.

"Shut up, Peridot." Jasper crosses her arms.

"Peri, wait just a minute, let me finish this. Then you can tease Jasper."

"What?!"

"Yes!" Peridot laughs.

"Jasper, look at me, Is there any possibility of you becoming a Crystal Gem?" Lapis makes a serious face.

"I don't think so. I don't care about the Earth."

"But you care about Emerald."

"Yes." Jasper rolls her eyes. "But I still don't understand why."

"So, you care about the Earth. The job of the Crystal Gems is to protect anything that calls this planet home." Lapis raises an eyebrow.

"But, that is not a reason to me." Jasper crosses her arms.

"Well, you didn't kill our daughter. That means you helped us. Do you know what this means?" Lapis smiles.

"No, no, no… I know Yellow Diamond is not coming back, but I am still loyal. I am not a rebel…" Jasper crosses her arms.

"Yes, you are. You are a traitor clod." Peridot laughs.

"Peridot!" Lapis shouts.

"I can't be a… a rebel…" Jasper says, lost in her words.

"I am sorry, Jasper, but, yeah, you are a traitor to your Homeworld."

"No!" Jasper shouts.

"Hey, stop screaming." Peridot looks at Emerald. "You are gonna scare her."

"Yes, please, she has been through so much to a one week old ." Lapis tells her.

"So, what are my options?".

"Well, become a Crystal Gem, bubble, be broken… Not many options really." Lapis looks around.

"So…I- I am gonna accept your offer. I am gonna try to be a C-Crystal Gem." Jasper closes her eyes, frustrated. "But only because of her." She points at Emerald.

"Fine." Lapis stands up. "Let's go. We need to talk with Garnet or Ruby and Sapphire." Lapis stands up and walks out

Ruby and Sapphire come back from their conversation with Garnet. Once they get inside the house, the two gems find Jasper and the other three gems on the sofa.

Sapphire suddenly smiles. "You did it Lapis!"

"Wait… Did you foresee it?" Lapis gets surprised.

"Yeah, I kind of. I trusted on you and your old diplomatic skills." Sapphire walks towards them.

"Thanks, I guess." She looks away.

"Wait, did you plan everything that happened today?" Ruby stops next to Sapphire.

"Not everything, Ruby." Sapphire kisses Ruby's cheek and smiles.

"You can feel welcomed, Jasper." Sapphire tells the orange gem. "We know it is gonna be hard at first, but we will help you with everything you need."

"We can build you a room later." Ruby looks at Sapphire, who nods in agreement.

"Let's tell the others. They are gonna be really surprised." Lapis giggles.
