A request had been made and it was up to Jasmine to either accept or deny.

Phil held onto Jasmine's hand and tugged lightly on it. She looked at him and shook her head slightly before squeezing his hand.

She looked at Nicholas, "Okay. You got yourself a deal."

Nicholas smiled, "You made a good decision."

He glanced over at his men, "Let them go."

Obediently, Nicholas' men let Bradley and the others go. They hurried over to where Phil and Glenn was standing with the rest of their team.

Nicholas looked at Jasmine, "Your turn."

"Give me a second." Jasmine said, "Let me say my good-byes."

Nicholas made an 'as you wish' gesture with his hands as he stepped back a little. She turned to her little brother who collided into her in a hug. She tightened her hold on Bradley and kissed the side of his head.

"I'll see you soon, okay?" Jasmine said, "I'll get out of here. I promise."

Bradley nodded and she kissed him one more time on the side of the head before she felt someone pull her away, breaking the hold she had on her brother. She looked up and saw Donald, who had his grip on her arm.

She quickly looked back at her brother, who was calling out for her and being held back by Big Show.

Nicholas stood in front of Jasmine and said, "You know what? I'm feeling generous today."

"Generous enough to return my niece back to me?" Glenn said

Nicholas laughed, "Not that generous… But it's still an act of kindness. You see… I'm going to let you leave here alive."

"Don't believe him!" Bryan exclaimed

"It's up to you if you want to believe me.. Or not." Nicholas said, "But I'm only giving you 20 seconds to make up your mind before I set my army on you."

Jasmine looked at Phil and she mouthed, "Go."

Phil looked back at Nicholas, anger in his eyes, "If you so much as touch one hair on Jasmine, I will fucking kill you."

He turned around, "Let's go."

Everyone got into the lift and Phil entered last. He looked straight at Jasmine before looking at Nicholas.

"This isn't over." Phil said

Nicholas shrugged and waved as the doors closed. Just as Jasmine was about to ask Nicholas what he was up to, she felt a sharp pain at the side of her neck and before she knew it, her vision became cloudy and then completely dark.

Jasmine woke up, feeling the warmth of something on her face. She slowly opened her eyes and closed it as soon as the light hit her. She then realized that the warmth on her face was none other than the sun. Jasmine sat up and looked around. She wasn't in the building anymore.

She looked towards the ledge where she saw Nicholas' back. She quickly stood up and walked a little closer to him.

"Isn't this nice?" Nicholas said
"What is?" Jasmine said

He looked out into the distance, "This. To be in control."

She looked at him, "What kind of control is there when there isn't anyone around?"

He laughed a little, "Are you sure about that?"

"What are you talking about?" Jasmine asked, "Where are we?"

"We're on top of the world, babe." Nicholas said

She walked closer to the edge and looked down. The streets were full of the undead. But, she realized that none of the walkers were close to the building due to the barricades around the building. Jasmine tried to look for a way out even over the ledge.

"You're not going to get away that way." Nicholas said, "You'll fall to your death instantly and I won't want that to happen to you."

He came over and was about to touch Jasmine's face when she swiped his hand away.

"What are you doing?" Jasmine asked
"I'm trying to reconnect, babe." Nicholas replied
"I am not your babe." Jasmine said

When those words left Jasmine's mouth, she could almost swear she saw a look of sadness pass over Nicholas' face.

"Well…" Nicholas said, "You used to be."

"And you used to be a lot of things too." Jasmine said
"Until I realize that I wasn't happy." Nicholas said
"Wasn't happy?" Jasmine said

"I wanted to feel in control." Nicholas said, "I didn't want to feel oppressed by my parents or the world… I needed more."

"Is that why you killed your parents?" Jasmine asked

"It was survival of the fittest." Nicholas said, "They found my experiment and wanted to put a stop to it. So, they didn't leave me any choice."

"And Ryan? He was your little brother. He looked up to you!" Jasmine said

Nicholas looked away and Jasmine knew she struck a nerve.

"He deserved it." Nicholas said, "No brother of mine is a pushover."

Jasmine looked at Nicholas with a mix of sympathy and confusion, "What happened to you?"

"I evolved." Nicholas said

She shook her head, "Evolved enough to play with people's lives?! How did you meet AJ?"

"I met her. Well.. Actually, I rescued her." Nicholas said, "I brought her back here and told her about my plans. In the beginning, the plan was to use the people at your camp as test subjects but when you turned up, the plan changed."

He looked at her, "But you don't have to worry about her anymore."

"What do you mean?" Jasmine asked

Nicholas merely smiled as a reply as he walked off towards the door at the corner, which Jasmine didn't notice before. He opened the door and gestured for her to enter before he went in after her. The room was dark but as soon as the door closed behind Nicholas, the lights came on and the equipment in the room powered up.

Jasmine could now clearly see what was in front of her. Dozens of small TV screens lit up before her, showing her different parts of the building. And one screen in particular immediately caught her eye.

She looked closer and standing within the black and white screen, was none other than Phil and the others along with a frazzled looking AJ.

Jasmine looked back at Nicholas and as if knowing she was about to say something, he smirked.

"Shall we play a game?"
