"Good morning handsome" Kerry Young whispered as she woke up in a large king sized bed next to David Radford.

Smiling, David replied

"Good morning" before stepping out of bed and wrapping himself in a dressing gown.

Feeling flirtatious, Kerry asked

"Shall we go and have a shower?"

With his back to the blonde, David Radford rolled his eyes before replying

"Not this morning, we have to go. Here, get dressed"

He threw Kerry the hoodie that she had turned up in the previous evening.

"Go? Go where?" she asked.

"I can trust you can't I Kerry?"

Jumping up out of bed and rushing over to the Londoner's side, Kerry exclaimed

"Of course you can Dave, 100%. So, where we off? You going to treat me to a slap up meal?"

Lauging, Radford explained

"Not exactly. We're re-doing our drugs operation"

With that, David disappeared into the bathroom to do his teeth, leaving Kerry shocked and nervous.

When she had turned up the previous evening, Kerry wasn't really sure what to do or how to play it. She had been hoping to get some kind of evidence on Irene and David Radford so they could get convicted. Kerry wanted to be the one to fix all the mistakes that her, Cameron, Rebecca and Smithy had made since turning up in France. However, the last thing she expected was to hear that David was planning another drugs shipment. That's when she realised that 1. She was completely on her own but 2. This was her time to shine. She knew that Superintendant O'Karo had probably made it to France now and assumed her sister and two colleagues were on their way back to London. There was no going back now and the only thing Kerry could do, was go along with David and Irene Radford's plans.

After brushing his teeth, David glanced at his phone to realise he had a new text message from an unknown number but after reading it through, he saw it was from Rebecca. David may have been a dangerous gangster but he actually had feelings for Rebecca and really wished she was with him instead of Kerry. He couldn't care less about Kerry and the only reason she was sat in his bedroom was because David knew how gullible the eldest sister was and, with the right words, he could make her do practically anything of him. After thinking for a few moments, David tapped back a message to Rebecca and hoped she'd go with it.

"David, are you ready? I'm missing you already" Kerry called from the bedroom.

Rolling his eyes again, David unlocked the bathroom door and walked out.

"Come on then babe, let's get this deal done"

"Wait!" Kerry called, hoping to get some information out of the gangster.

What he didn't know, but should have, was that when he was in the bathroom, Kerry had switched her phone on to record anything and everything that was going on.

"What Kerry?" David asked.

"Well, don't you think I should know what's going on?"

Sitting Kerry down on the edge of the bed and not thinking anything of it, David explained

"Okay basically, the guys who delivered the drugs to the docks last week, they're raging that the deal wasn't done. So, we've been forced to do another deal which is already in France. We're meeting the guys at a small warehouse nearby the docks to do the handover. Are you sure you want to help me Kerry?"

Trying to take in all the information, Kerry simply nodded.

"I can trust you right Kerry? You're not going to mess me around like last time"

Shaking her head, the blonde replied

"Of course not babe, you can trust me 100%. Besides, Becca, Smithy and Cameron are probably already on their flight back to London by now so, even if I wanted to, there's no one around to tell"

David wasn't quite sure whether to actually believe Kerry but he was in trouble with some extremely hard and dangerous guys if he didn't get this drug deal done so he had no choice but to trust the blonde.

"Should I be worried?" Kerry asked.

When David asked her why, the nervous blonde replied

"Well, your mother killed that Sky guy from the Hilton hotel and, I'm not exactly her favourite person after what happened last time. Is she most likely to kill me too?"

Laughing, quite disturbingly, Radford exclaimed

"Not unless you're planning on screwing us over"

Kerry nervously laughed and realised that this was the worst idea she had ever had. However, she followed him out of the room and downstairs where Irene Radford was waiting.

"Ah Kerry Young. PC Kerry Young. You're here because?"

"Don't start Mum, Kerry's helping us out and she's going to be a good girl this time, aren't you Kerry"

Kerry nervously nodded.

"Come on then, let's go"

With that, Irene, David and Kerry jumped into the car outside and headed for the meeting place.

After twenty minutes of travelling in the black stretched limo, in complete and utter silence, the Sunhill lot pulled up outside the 'Paris Charles de Gaulle' airport. The driver jumped out and opened up the boot, pulling out the suitcases and holdalls belonging to the group. As the Chief Super and Inspector Gold joined Smithy, Cameron and Rebecca on the pavement, Superintendent O'Karo rushed off to get a trolley for all the baggage.

"I've just realised, where's Phil Hunter? I thought you said he was here in France with you all?" Cameron asked and Smithy agreed but before anyone could answer, another black limo pulled up behind them. As Phil Hunter stepped out of the car, he thanked the driver and walked over to the Sunhill lot.

"You're too good to share a limo right? So you had to have one to yourself?" Rebecca sarcastically said, which made Phil Hunter smile.

"Well well PC Young the second, you aint just a pretty face are you. You're quite funny you know"

"Only now you're realising that DS Hunter?" Rebecca joked.

Walking over to the Super, Phil explained

"I've asked all around Sir; clubs, hospitals, the dock. No one has any info on the Radfords"

"That's alright Phil. Come on, let's go home"

"I'll push it" Smithy offered, taking the trolley from O'Karo and placing all the suitcases and bags on it. As the group walked, Cameron moved so he was next to Rebecca.
"You okay?" he whispered but the blonde shook her head.

"We shouldn't be leaving Kerry behind. I know we aren't exactly on talking terms at the moment but, she's my sister and we all know how dangerous David Radford is"

In the corner of his eye, Smithy noticed Cameron talking to Rebecca and instantly felt jealous.

"Bec, everything alright?" he called out and Rebecca nodded.

"So, what's your plan then?" the Aussie asked his ex girlfriend but the blonde shrugged her shoulders.

"I don't know, I haven't got one. All I know is, I am not getting on that plane without Kerry"

"Right, wait here" Superintendant O'Karo ordered as the group reached the check in desk and called Smithy to go with him to check in the bags.

A few minutes later, both males returned with boarding passes and informed everyone they were all checked in and ready to go through security. Smithy pushed the empty trolley into the queue and walked alongside the others.

"I'm sorry" he whispered to Rebecca who was walking next to him.

Without making eye contact, the blonde asked

"About what?"

"About siding with Cameron in the car"

Shaking her head, Rebecca replied

"It's fine. You're right, I really shouldn't do anything silly but, I will never forgive myself if we leave Kerry here with Radford. At the end of the day Smithy, she's my sister, however much I hate her right now"

Smithy nodded because he knew deep down that Rebecca was right.

"So, what are we going to do?" the young Sergeant asked and was met by a confused looking blonde.

"We?"

Stopping in his tracks, Smithy whispered

"Yeah, we. You don't really think I'm going to leave you on your own do you? We're in this together"

Rebecca smiled as the love struck Sergeant leaned in and kissed her on the lips.

"Oi you two, come on!" Superintendant O'Karo called out as he realised they had slipped behind.

Jaw wide open, Inspector Gold whispered

"Those two eh? Who'd have thought it!"

"Don't worry; it's just some holiday fling. She's using him to get back at me" Cameron muttered, full of jealousy.

Pulling a confused looking face and walking closer to the Aussie, Gina Gold questioned

"Why would Rebecca want to get back at you?"

That's when Cameron quickly remembered that no one back in Sunhill had actually known about the relationship between him and Rebecca.

"Oh umm, we were in a relationship before we came out here then, I cheated on her"

"What, out here in France?" Gina asked, really intrigued.

Cameron nodded and reluctantly confessed

"With Kerry"

Joining the queue for security, Inspector Gold couldn't help but laugh.

"Well PC Tait, you have been a busy boy haven't you!"

Just then, Superintendant O'Karo, who was walking behind Smithy and Rebecca, spoke to the group.

"Okay Cameron, Phil, Dale, if you're wearing a belt or watch, make sure to take them off too. Rebecca, take any jewellery off"

The Chief Superintendant went through the scanners first, followed by Gina Gold, Phil Hunter, Cameron Tait, then Rebecca, Smithy and lastly, Superintendant O'Karo. As the tray came through with O'Karo's belongings on it, Rebecca spotted her mobile phone.

"Sir, can I have my phone now please?" Rebecca asked as he stepped through the scanner and picked up his belongings.

Nodding, O'Karo handed Rebecca her Iphone 5 and rushed to catch up with Gina and the Chief Super.

"Finally!" Rebecca muttered.

"Why are you so eager to get that back?" Cameron asked and Rebecca squinted before replying

"Because it's MY phone Cameron...I'm sure you'd be the same if it was yours!"

"Yeah! Leave the girl alone Skippy" Phil chipped in.

"Erm, thank you Phillip but I don't need your help. I'm pretty sure I can handle Cameron on my own" Rebecca exclaimed, which made Phil chuckle.

"I bet you can!" he muttered, walking off and laughing to himself.

Just then, Rebecca's phone beeped and she quickly looked at the text message. It was from David Radford and he had text her to inform her about the drugs deal that was happening between him and some French gang that he owed. He also gave the address of where it was taking place and a time; in 30 minutes time.

"Shit" Rebecca thought to herself and quickly racked her brain for an idea on how to get away.

"Rebecca, Cameron, Smithy, sit here please" Superintendant O'Karo ordered them to sit down on the row of chairs opposite him.

"Sir come on, we're not criminals you know. Do we really have to sit down in front of you like kids?"

O'Karo nodded and Rebecca sighed. Pulling out her phone, Rebecca tapped in a message and pressed the send button. Smithy was playing solitaire on his phone when a text from Rebecca suddenly popped up.

'I need to get out of here'

Smithy looked at Rebecca who was sat next to him and shrugged his shoulders.

"There's no chance Bec"

Smithy was right, this was proving to be difficult especially with O'Karo watching their every moves.

Just then, the voice belonging to a man with a strong French accent rang out over the tannoy, speaking in French. He then repeated himself in English.

"Good morning ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls and welcome to Paris–Charles de Gaulle Airport in France. Can everyone boarding the 9:15am flight to Heathrow, London England please make their way to terminal 4 straight away please. This is your first of two calls. Thank you"

This was it. This was Rebecca's one and only chance to get away from the Super and leave the airport. She was going to find Kerry and return to London, even if she had to drag Kerry on to the plane and beat a confession out of David Radford.

Standing up and picking up his black coloured briefcase, Superintendant O'Karo ordered his officers onto the plane. Glancing at the blonde who was sat next to him, Smithy wondered what Rebecca was going to do now, if anything. He didn't have to wait long to find out.

"Uh oh. Argh" Rebecca muttered as she stood to her feet, just loud enough for the group to hear.

"This is it" Smithy thought.

Looking at the blonde who was clutching her stomach, he asked

"Bec? What's wrong?"

Rebecca shook her head.

"Umm Sir, I need to go to the shop...and toilet" Rebecca explained to the Superintendant.

Shaking his head, O'Karo replied

"No chance Rebecca, the plane is boarding.

Holding her stomach, the blonde made out that she was in pain, letting out another yelp.

"Are...are you okay?" the Superintendant asked.

"Woman troubles Sir. Please I need to go to the toilets. I'll be really quick. They've only made the first call"

"Okay, Gina will go with you" Adam explained, genuinely thinking that the blonde PC was in pain.

"Ah no Sir it's fine. I think I can manage it on my own. I don't need a guard"

"Oh go on Adam, what's the worst that could happen" Gina Gold exclaimed, sensing that something was going down.

"Go, we will wait here for you" Adam replied but Gina shook her head.

"No don't be silly Adam. You, Cameron, Phillip & the Chief Super go on to the plane, find our seats"

"And Sergeant Smith?" the Super added but once again, the Inspector shook her head.

"I need to have a quick word with him but then he will follow you on to the plane"

Sighing, Superintendant O'Karo declared

"You better all be on that plane in five minutes!"

With that, he turned and headed towards the terminal.

"Becca" Cameron called as he looked at his ex.

"You better go PC Tait, everyone's waiting for you" Gina ordered.

The three officers watched as O'Karo, Hunter, Tait and the Chief Superintendant disappeared through the terminal.

"Right you two, over here" Gina Gold ordered, walking off towards the toilets.

With a confused look on her face, Rebecca asked Smithy

"Do you think she knows?"

"Right, so how are you planning on escaping the airport and finding Kerry?"

Raising his eyebrow, the young Sergeant looked at the blonde PC and exclaimed

"She knows"

"If you're talking about you pair leaving this airport through the main doors not the plane sat outside on the runway then...yes I know"

"Look Marm this has nothing to do with Smithy, it's all my idea. I know that when that plane takes off without me, I will no longer be a cop when I do eventually get back to London..."

"But..." Gina interrupted and Rebecca instantly added

"But Kerry's my sister. Irene killed Sky, David shot Cameron and left him bleeding to death. It doesn't look too good does it?"

Shaking her head, Gina asked

"What made Kerry decide to go and meet Radford in the first place?"

Smithy spat and exclaimed

"To spite Becca?"

Pulling a confused look, the Inspector asked

"Why do I think that there is so much more to this story?"

Rolling his big round eyes, Smithy muttered

"Because there is!"

"Smithy, you go and join Cameron and the Super on the plane. Gina, Marm, I need to do this. Please" Rebecca pleaded but didn't expect the reaction she received.

"Hit me"

Smithy's eyes widened and he glanced over at Rebecca who frowned with confusion.

"Ummm, excuse me?" the young officer asked.

Taking a step closer to the blonde, Gina muttered

"You heard me...hit me"

Letting out a chuckle, Rebecca exclaimed

"Marm, I aint gonna..."

Just then, Gina Gold, using her right hand, slapped Rebecca across the cheek, sending the poor PC's head lashing sideways.

"Gina!" Smithy shouted, rushing towards Rebecca and looking at her cheek.

Turning her head around to look at the inspector, Rebecca's eyes filled up with tears as pain shot through her cheek.

"I'm sorry, that needed to be done. People are now looking Rebecca. Just hit me back, and then go...the pair of you. I will get on the plane and make sure it takes off without you. Just, make sure you find Kerry bloody Young and drag her back to London, along with the Radford's if you can. Now just bloody hit me woman!"

Not wanting to waste anymore time, Rebecca flattened her hand and swung for Gina Gold, slapping her right across the cheek and knowing the Inspector backwards.

"I'm sorry" the blonde whispered before taking Smithy by the hand and dashing out of the airport.

"Shit Smithy! What the hell did I just do?" Rebecca panicked once outside the airport.

"Erm, just gave Gina Gold a black eye?" Smithy replied, not knowing whether to laugh about it or not.

"You do realise that when the Chief Superintendant and O'Karo realises we aint on that plane when it takes off, we're gonna lose our jobs"

"We won't lose our jobs Bec, we..."

Just then, three airport security emerged through the doors of the airport.

Taking the blonde by the hand, the young Sergeant whispered

"We need to go!"

Sticking his hand out into the road, Smithy hailed down a French taxi and jumped in to the back seat with Rebecca.

"Where are we gonna go? We don't even know where to find Kerry and the Radfords?" Rebecca stated.

Thinking for a moment, Smithy's face lit up as he came up with an idea.

"Could you take us to the hospital please mate" Smithy said to the little French taxi man who nodded, revved the engine and drove off down the road.

"Good morning ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls and welcome to Paris–Charles de Gaulle Airport in France. This is the final call for passengers booked on the 9:15am flight to Heathrow, London England. Please could you make your way to terminal 4 straight away please. This is your final call, thank you"

Cameron glanced around at the packed plane to see if he could spot Rebecca and Smithy but they were nowhere to be seen. Phil Hunter was sat next to the Aussie and noticed that he was very agitated.

"Chill out Cameron, they'll be back soon. The plane aint gonna leave without then is it"

Cameron shot a look at Phil and the DS suddenly realised that something was up.

"Is it?" he asked and Cameron shrugged his shoulders.

"What do you think Phil? Do you really think Rebecca is going to leave her sister out here with David and Irene Radford?"

Phil Hunter unbuckled his seat belt and stood up but Cameron pulled on his arm.

"What you doing?"

Sitting back down, Phil whispered

"I'm going to tell the Super what's going on. Rebecca and Smithy are going to do a runner..."

"No you can't!" Cameron shouted.

"Good morning ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls. This is your captain speaking. Thank you for boarding this flight from Paris–Charles de Gaulle Airport to Heathrow, London England. The estimated arrival time is 10:35am. Please stay seated and stay calm, we are about to take off now. Enjoy your flight, thank you"

Adam O'Karo looked around and smiled when he saw Gina Gold being shown to an aisle seat a few rows back. He watched as she sat down next to a blonde haired girl, who was sat next to a brown haired guy. Fully aware that she was being watched, Gina looked up and smiled at the Superintendant. Turning back around, Adam O'Karo smiled at the Chief Superintendant sat next to him.

"Everyone's on the plane Sir"

The Chief Super nodded and replied

"Good"

Gina Gold turned her head to look out of the window and the couple sat next to her caught her eye, both smiling at her. Smiling back, the Inspector knew that Adam had mistaken the couple for Rebecca and Smithy because he could only see the top of their heads. She also knew that it was highly unlikely that, when the plane landed in London, there would be a job advertisement for an Inspector to replace her. Just then, a phone pinged and, reaching into her jacket pocket, Gina pulled out her mobile and noticed Smithy's name flashing on the screen. Swiping a finger to open the text, she read it. It simply read
"Thank you"

Smiling to herself, Gina realised that she had done the right thing. Besides, it was too late to do anything about it now as the plane sped down the runaway and took off, launching itself into the air. Laying back and closing her eyes, Gina Gold tried to enjoy the peaceful flight back to London because she knew that once the plane landed in Heathrow, it was going to be far from peaceful.
