Guest (the one talking about posting stories online): I think it's better if you post in online, bc that way nobody really knows who you are & can really judge you for what you write about. That's what I do & it turned out pretty okay.

Chapter 24
"It's alright, everything's going to be okay." Riker said, trying to be as comforting as he could as he held Ross' hand and stroked his hair gently. He was in a lot of pain and the drugs to ease the pain were beginning to wear off – at least, that's what Riker's hand was telling him by the way it started to become numb and clicked a few times. As well as the obvious painful cries of pain coming from Ross.
Ross let go of Riker's hand and laid back "Where the hell is he?!" He asked, through pain and tears.
"I don't know. Rocky's gone looking for him so hopefully he'll find him."
A short while later, Rocky walked through the door of the hospital room looking very unamused and very pissed. "Did you find him?" Riker asked.
Rocky shook his head "No, I've checked everywhere he could possibly be! I've tried calling him but all I keep getting is his answer phone; it's like he's disappeared off the face of the Earth!" Rocky exclaimed, making Ross sigh and put his head into his hands. Rocky took a step towards the bed "Ross, it's alright. You don't need him, especially if he's going to be like this. You've got us."
"It's not the point, Rocky! He should be here!" Ross said, raising his voice.
"Exactly! He should be! I warned you both before this even happened that he would do something like this, I really did! But oh, look, as usual, nobody fucking listens to me!" Rocky raised his voice in anger and annoyance. He was sick of everyone ignoring him when it came to stuff like this because nine times out of ten, he is always right. Always.
"Are you sure you don't want the doctor's to get on with the operation and get Leila out of you?" Riker asked, looking down at Ross "because – I hate to make you feel worse than you already do but – it really looks like Ellington isn't coming at all."
Ross stayed silent, letting a tear roll down his face. He didn't know what to do or say. He didn't even know what to feel. As he went to respond to Riker another contraction came and he immediately grabbed Riker's hand again "Yes-ow! Yes. Please come with me though, Riker, don't leave me on my own, please stay with me." Ross begged.
Riker nodded with a sympathetic frown "Of course," he kissed his head "Rocky, go find the nurse."
Rocky obeyed and left the room to go find the nurse.
Rocky began to walk down the hallway to search for the nurse that was in the room earlier when he heard someone call his name from behind.
"Rocky!"
Rocky stopped walking, beginning to feel his blood boil at the familiar male voice. He turned around, seeing none other than Ellington Lee Ratliff coming towards him. Rocky walked towards him, only going faster and gaining on him threateningly. "Is Ross in the room you just came out of?" Ellington asked, clearly not taking in what Rocky was about to do.
Rocky grabbed Ellington by the shirt and threw him against the wall as hard as he could "Where the fuck have you been for the past two days?!" Rocky asked, raising his voice.
"N-nowhere."
Rocky brought him from the wall and slammed him against it again "Don't fucking lie to me!"
Ellington froze "Um... I went to go see a friend back home. He was going through a tough time and I didn't have time to tell anybody I was going because it was that much of an emergency."
Rocky stared at Ellington, looking him up and down before releasing him from his grip. He didn't believe him one bit. He knew for a fact that he was up to something else, he didn't bother to question him any further. Besides, the truth is bound to come out eventually, right? "You better get your fucking ass into that room." Rocky said.
Ellington nodded and made his way into the room, but before he could Rocky grabbed him by the arm tightly. "If I find out you were somewhere else, doing something else with someone who isn't the friend you're talking about I will beat your ass so hard you will have to be surgically removed from the ground and until I'm behind bars with Rydel. Is that understood?" Rocky threatened.
Ellington stayed silent, freezing in fear. It didn't take long for Rocky to let him go and shove him into the room. Ellington went in whilst Rocky went to attempt go find the nurse for a second time.
Ellington walked into the room to find Ross crying into Riker's chest and squeezing his hand to help relieve some of the pain from the contractions he was having. Riker looked over to the door after hearing it open, still having Ross continuously cry into him. He nudged Ross gently where they both looked over at Ellington. Riker got off the bed, letting go of Ross "I'll leave you both alone."
As he exited the room, he shoved passed Ellington purposefully and harshly.
Once Riker had left the room and it was just Ross and Ellington, Ellington rushed over to the bed and hugged Ross who gladly hugged back, sobbing. Ellington held onto him, kissing his head "I'm so sorry for leaving. I swear on yours and Leila's life I will never do it again."
"I thought you'd left for good and weren't coming back." Ross sobbed.
Ellington shook his head "No."
"Where have you been? Where did you keep disappearing to on random nights?"
Ellington sighed, pulling away from the hug "It's not important right now, but I'll tell you later. What is important right now is you and Leila, so... lets just focus on that for now."
Ross smiled a little. Ellington bent down to him and pressed his lips against his. As he did another contraction hit Ross so he pulled away from the kiss quickly and grabbed Ellington's hand, making him hiss in pain and almost drop to the floor.
A small while later, a nurse came into the room "How are you feeling, Ross?" She asked, coming over to stand next to the bed.
"Like a ray of sunshine." He said sarcastically.
The nurse laughed a little "Well, it's time. Are you ready?" She asked.
"Yes! Oh my, God! Please!" Ross said, beginning to become relieved that the pain was about to be over.
"Alright, I'll be right back to get someone to take you down to the OR." She said, smiling before exiting the room.
"Hey," Ellington said, grabbing Ross' hand "I'm not going anywhere, okay? I'll be right here by your side when you come back and wake up."
Am I making it hard for you to dislike Ellington now or is it set in stone at how much you really dislike/hate him? Haha cx
PLEASE READ: *inserts shameless self promotion* I have this story called "The Deviants of Time" & it's got 6 chapters so far (7 bc of the authors note I've previously posted) but nobody's really reading it at the moment & it kinda saddens me bc I REALLY love writing that story, so I was wondering if you guys could give it a chance, read/follow it & let me know what you think (on that story)? It's R5! But it's only got Ross & Rocky in along with Brad from The Vamps, Luke & Ashton from 5SOS & the YouTubers danisnotonfire, ThatcherJoe & Caspar Lee. There is a specific reason why it is that way, but it doesn't matter bc I explained it in the authors note on the first chapter :) It'd mean a hell of a lot if you guys read it for me :D
