A/N: Hola faithful readers! Now I can't take credit for this chapter... it was TheLittleBeast's idea, all I did was write it down, and add a few things here and there. So this is to you TheLittleBeast... I hope you like it! :)

P.S: The dragon mentioned in this chapter is NOT the same one that the twins brought home it's a different one.I know I didn't continue one with that story line... I'm sooo sorry I forgot about it... but it's gone. Obviously Harry and Severus found out about it and got ride of it.

It was a bright and sunny day as Harry and Severus were out picking ingredients near the forbidden forest. Athena, who is about 4 years old, was also there, running around and playing with butterflies and other things little girls do. It had just rained the night before so the ground was littered with puddles and mud. As Athena was running around she jumped in every puddle that she came across, giggling as the water and mud splashed up. Harry and Severus smiled at their daughters antics.

"She gets that from you, you know." Severus said as he bent down to pick an herb.

"Get what from me?" Harry asked confused as he held out the basket for Severus to place the herbs in.

"The dire need to get messy." He replied.

Harry laughed.

"Hey! It could have been worse." He replied.

"Yeah, she could of inherited you unruly hair." Severus said.

Harry shuck his head. "You're a git. Now what's the last ingredient on the list?" He asked.

"Aconite, you little brat." Severus said as he turned towards his husband. "We'll have to leave Athena out here while we go collect some."

"I completely agree. It's much safer if she stays out here." Harry agreed with Severus.

"Athena, honey!" Severus yelled.

Athena looked up from her puddle and got out, running towards her daddies.

"Yeah daddy?" She asked as she stopped in front of them.

"We need to go into the forest to get an ingredient and we need to you to stay out here okay sweetie?" Harry told her.

"Okay daddy." She replied.

She ran back off, jumping in puddles and laughing.

Harry and Severus watched her retreating back with smiles on their faces.

"Alright, let's go." Severus said.

He held out his hand for Harry and smiled when his husband placed his hand in his. Severus squeezed Harry's hand and the two of them made their way into the forest.

They two men had been gone not even two minutes when a noise came from the entrance of the forest. It was a grumble squeak noise. It sounded like a combination of a growling stomach and a mouse. Athena brushed off the noise and continued playing.

'It was probably just the wind, or daddy and daddy.' She thought.

As she chased a butterfly around the grounds, she heard it again. This time she was closer to the entrance of the forest and it sounded almost like someone...crying.

She heard the noise again. It sounded like someone calling for their Mommy.

"Mummy! Mummy!" It kept calling.

Athena, who had inherited Harry's hero complex, abanded the butterfly and rushed into the forest. She followed the noise through the forest to a little secluded clearing. In the middle of the clearing she saw a small dragon, it was about the size of a small boulder. It cried again, and she could understand it.

"Mummy! Mummy where are you?"

Athena approached the dragon cautiously.

"Hello." She said quietly to it.

It's head snapped up and looked at her.

"Who are you?" It asked. "Do you know where my mummy is?"

"I'm Athena, and no I'm sorry but I don't know where your mummy is." She replied. "What's your name?"

"Zandora." The dragon replied.

Athena smiled at her.

"That's a pretty name. Where was the last place you saw your mummy, Zandora?"

The poor dragon sniffled.

"I don't know. We were walking through the forest and a pretty butterfly flew past me. I ran after it to try and catch it. I followed it here and when I caught it I turned around to show my mummy and she wasn't there." Zandora replied.

"I can help you, but we need to find my daddies first so they can help." Athena said.

"Alright." Zandora said.

She lowered her head down so Athena could climb on her back and hold on to her neck. They walked through the forest together, talking and laughing with each other.

*****In another part of the forest*****

Harry and Severus were gathering ingredients when they heard roaring. They turned and looked at each other.

"Oh Merlin! Athena!" Severus said anxiously.

Before Harry could reply, a cute little dragon came walking into the clearing where the two men were and she had Athena on her back. It was talking to her, and she was talking back.

"Daddies! Look it's my new friend Zandora. She's lost her Mummy can u help her.

Harry and Severus were frozen with shock. Their daughter could talk to dragons. But hey, she is Harry's daughter so is it really that hard to believe.

Before they could reply, the sky turned dark and mysterious. All they could see was the shadow of Athena and Zandora. There was a flash of lightning and they saw Athena on a dragon, only it was the cute, cuddly one she was one less than a minute again but a Hungarian Hornetail. Harry and Severus yelled at her to get off of it.

"ATHENA!"

"Athena! Get away from that."

She ignored them and continued talking and cuddling it... before it turned it's head and incinerated her in one breath. She screamed in agony as her flesh burned and she died.

Harry and Severus were devastated. They had just watched their daughter get murdered . Severus approached the dragon, wand raised a furious. The horntail moved closer to him and before Severus could react it reached down, mouth opened and chomped off half of Severus body in one bite-

Harry woke up screaming, terrified: sitting up in bed, tears streaming down his face. His actions obviously waking his sleeping husband beside him.

"Harry?" Severus asked sleepily, looking at his husband with concern written all over his face.

They only reply Harry gave was a sob.

"Oh, sweetie." Severus said, gathering his hysterical husband in his arms. "It's okay sweetie. It was only a dream, nothing is going to hurt you. I promise."

"But Athena... an-an-and you w-were.." Harry said, we'll tried to. It was hard to make out his words through all his sobs.

"Baby, Athena is fine. She asleep in her crib in her room. The same place we put her when Poppy allowed us to leave the hospital. And I am right here, and I'm not going anywhere, okay." Severus replied.

Harry nodded into his husband's chest.

And for the rest of the night Severus comforted an upset Harry.
