Okay, here's Percy visiting Denise! I would like to thank the following reviewers for their interesting oc's!... At this point, I can't list you all out because there's a lot of you, but you know who you are!
Disclaimer: I don't own shit
Read and review. Or don't. I don't care-.-
I found myself standing in the middle of the road when I heard a honk. I turned around to see and old man in a truck.
"Hey, get outta the way, you little varmint!" he shouted.
I raised my hands in defense. "Sorry!"
He muttered under his breath as I moved out of the way and he drove off. I looked at the address Denise had given me, and then looked around for her dads tattoo parlor.
I asked a couple of people for directions, but most of their information wasn't that much help.
"You talking about Harper?" a tattooed guy asked. "Just take a left down there, and then make a right. There, you'll see the sign 'Harpers Tats' in bright red."
I smiled. "Cool. Thanks."
"No problem, son!"
I waved at him before going in the direction he pointed me to. As I turned to my right after the left, I caught sight of a sign saying "Harpers Tats" in a bright red color. Nice... I walked to the door, took a deep breath in, and then pushed it open. Inside, there were a lot of pictures of flaming skulls, dragons, women in bikinis (I tried really hard not to stare), and other things you could want for a tattoo. Her dad must be an artist.
I walked in to hear buzzing from the other side and walked further to see a man with black hair and a beard(A/N Just picture that Victor guy from that wolverine movie), a black muscle shirt, black pants with chains, combat boots, and tattoos of dragons on his arms.
I cleared my throat to get his attention.
"Yeah, what do you want?" he asked. Wow, deep voice...
"Um... Does Denise Harper live here?"
"Why? You a friend of hers?"
"Uh, yeah... I'm Percy Jackson..."
He looked up from his work in surprise. "You mean the kid who confessed to my baby girl?"
I looked at him in shock. That's her dad? Wow, Eris sure knows how to pick 'em...
His customer looked at me. "Hey, this is the kid your daughter's been talkin' about."
Denise's dad smiled. "Sure is, Artie..." He got up and held out his hand. "Names Roderick Harper, I'm Denise's father."
I nervously shook his hand. "Nice to meet you, sir..."
He chuckled in amusement. "No need to get scared, kid. Any friend of my daughters is a friend of mine."
I sighed in relief. Thank gods he wasn't gonna try to strangle me.
"So you wanna see my daughter, eh? She should be back from the art club soon."
I beamed. "No worries. I'll just see her there."
He gave me a surprised look before shrugging. "Alright. Tell her I said hi, will ya?"
"Sure thing." With that, I left for the art club. After asking for directions from a few people, I finally found the door in an alleyway. I walked inside and the hallway was dark, making it difficult for me to walk by everyone inside.
Then I came to another door and I could hear screaming and shouts. Once I opened the door, a lot of people were cheering as I saw a group of dark clothed people on some sort of stage. I looked and soon spotted Ava with a chestnut haired girl in a white dress and sandals.
They soon spotted me and waved.
"Hey, Percy!" Ava shouted over the crowd.
I went over to them, trying not to get knocked over by the crowd. "What're you doing here?"
"I'm here for the concert! Why what're you doing here?"
"I'm here to see Denise!"
"Well, you should wait after the concert!"
"Why?"
She smiled. "You'll see!"
I got a little confused when I heard someone saying the 'Strife Family' and looked at the stage in curiosity. On the stage were three guys and girls, the guys with instruments and the girls in front of microphones. Then someone else came and it was another girl. I couldn't see who she was because it was dark in here. Once the lights came on, I stared in shock as people cheered as the music played and Denise was standing on the stage. She opened her eyes before she started to sing.
Can't count the years on one hand
That we've been together
I need the other one to hold you
Make you feel, make you feel better
It's not a walk in the park
To love each other
But when our fingers interlock,
Can't deny, can't deny you're worth it
I watched in complete awe at her voice. She was breath-taking. Ava and the other girl were cheering for her as she sang.
Cause after all this time.
I'm still into you
Denise smiled and she started jumping around.
I should be over all the butterflies
But I'm into you (I'm in to you)
And baby even on our worst nights
I'm into you (I'm into you)
Let em wonder how we got this far
Cause I don't really need to wonder at all
Yeah after all this time
I'm still into you
I smiled as Ava and the other girl started shouting. "You go, girl!" "Go, Denise!"
Recount the night that I first
Met your mother
And on the drive back to my house
I told you that, I told you that I loved ya
You felt the weight of the world
Fall off your shoulder
And to your favorite song
We sang along to the start of forever
She got off the stage and got onto a merry-go-round, which I didn't notice was there.
And after all this time
I'm still into you
She smiled before jumping off and going to the stage again.
I should be over all the butterflies
But I'm into you (I'm in to you)
And baby even on our worst nights
I'm into you (I'm into you)
Let em wonder how we got this far
Cause I don't really need to wonder at all
Yeah after all this time
I'm still into you
She was almost shocked when she saw me, but I just smiled and waved at her.
Some things just,
Some things just make sense
And one of those is you and I
Some things just,
Some things just make sense
And even after all this time
I'm into You
Baby not a day goes by that
I'm not into you
She smiled and then started dancing.
I should be over all the butterflies
But I'm into you (I'm in to you)
And baby even on our worst nights
I'm into you (I'm into you)
Let em wonder how we got this far
Cause I don't really need to wonder at all
Yeah after all this time
I'm still into you
I'm still into you
I'm still into you
People started cheering once the music was done, and Ava and the other girl cheered. I just smiled at Denise, and she made a gesture to keep quiet with a smile. Gods, she is so cute...
