Chapter 25: Is this the right time?
When I woke up, I want you to be the first person that my eyes will see when I open them.

Eyes slowly opening; adjusting to the sudden light that welcomed him. The cold breeze embraced him and it seems like everything in the place was still except the curtains that danced and…
The hands that are running through his locks. Their eyes met and the other's blue ones seems to understand the younger's feelings. The boy that is lying innocuously at the bed gave the other a faint smile that melted the other's heart.
"Gon…" his voice was low and soft. The younger boy's expression changed when the albino wrapped his arms around him. Sob escaped from those lips and a liquid seeped on his pale face. He pulled Gon more while crying because he wanted to feel the other.
"Why are you always making me *sob* cry like this?! *sob* I know you heard everything! I refused him because of you! *sob* Please don't ever make reckless actions… Don't make me worry like this! I will not replace you by anybody so I wish you won't change…"
That made the younger frown. Killua refused everything just for him… Gon place his right hand on the back of the albino then…

"Everything you told me were true…"
The blonde tussled from Leorio's hold on him and after that, he took a step back and lowered his head; he has no idea of what is happening on his friend. "Leorio… you know the real goal of her? I…I…" The brunette walked away. Acting like his oblivious to what the other is telling him.
Leorio was hurt and that 'hurt' turned into anger. I wish the hunter exam didn't exist… I wish I didn't met Kurapika…
He was shocked when a fierce pain hit his back. He pressed the aching part then turned to look behind.
There, he met Kurapika's scarlet eyes. Even though they are burning with crimson; expressing the intense feeling that he feels, those wide orbs shed incessant tears.
Still, Leorio just stared at him blankly and continued walking towards the door. In a fugacious motion, Kurapika grabbed his wrist tightly.
"What is happening on you Leorio!? K'so! Stop this drama and tell me why are you doing this chikousho!"
Leorio cleared his throat then closed his eyes. He knows that this is the start of their end. He is tired to be treated like an idiot or be forgotten by them especially, he is tired to the frigid attitude of this blonde towards him. It was as if he is just a wind that they always ignore. Now, he ate too much taunts from him…
But a feeling from his heart made him feel like he still wants to be with him. His arms slowly snaked around the other's lithe frame, and with that action, Kurapika who is not in his true self earlier was replaced by the sincere blonde that Leorio loved the most.
His sobbing is the only thing that can be heard around the room. Leorio pulled out then patted the blonde's head like he always do. "You can taunt me, embarrass me, ignore me! It's alright and I can still take those things but… telling some… *sighs* This is nonsense Kurapika…"
After that, he turned his back at him then left them there alone. He didn't try to continue his sentence because it's not yet time to do it… The blonde perhaps cannot get his point of view this time.

"Killua… yamete kudasai… (please stop) you're like a little girl… *chuckles*"
The said boy suddenly boy suddenly sat then wiped the tears on his face. Gon forced himself to sit but failed because of his injured arm. That wound proves that he will still do anything for his friends; reckless maybe or something that can kill him like the thing that he is planning to do.
Because of the pain, he shut his eyes close and moaned a little bit. Killua noticed it so helped Gon to sit up, a little bit ill at ease to his friend. But the stubborn boy feigned that he was alright and spoke slowly…
"Sorry Kills… I'm a total insane… *chuckles* because I felt envy at Kurapika… I'm-"
"Gon… I love you… I don't care if you're insane or you're angry at me… I will still love love you so… may I know if…"
He didn't continue his sentence first and looked at the boy who is massaging his injured arm. Killua said to himself mentally that maybe, this is the right time to make their relationship clearer.
He gasped for air and felt the butterflies in his stomach so; he placed his cool side and forced himself to act alright… "Gon, do you love me back? More than a friend?" he asked bluntly.
The younger boy lowered his head but his eyes widen when the wound on his back hurt so he doesn't answer first. After a few seconds, it faded away that's why he spoke.
"Killua… ahh, I-"
But the other boy cannot stop the intense feeling and pulled Gon into a kiss. They slowly leaned their weights on the mattress soft mattress. At first, Gon didn't respond because he was surprised but he loves the other so he kissed back.
The albino's hand tightened its embrace more and their kiss deepened. Even though they're doing that, a huge question mark is still in his mind. He doesn't know if the other loves him back or what. BVut still, Killua enjoyed what they're doing as well as Gon does.
They are in the middle of their bliss when the door opened. The two are oblivious and continued what they're doing but when the person suddenly screamed their names, they felt still.
"GON! KILLUA!"

Leorio slowly opened the door of his friends' room but he saw something unexpected that made him nearly faint. Killua is on top of Gon and they are busy…
"Gon! Killua! What do you think you're doing!?"
They are just kissing but of course that brought surprise on Leorio. Of course! What will a person feel if he saw his best friends with the 'he' gender doing a very intense kiss on a mattress!?
Killua suddenly removed himself from Gon then sat as if there's nothing happened between them. Go slowly sat and fixed himself and wiped his lips childishly while fixing his messy looking self. Killua saw that and hit his head for acting so childish after what they did and after that, moed further from him.
Leorio walked towards them; still shocked at what he had seen. He doesn't know what to do: ask, act oblivious or scold them.
He chose the first and third option. "What are you doing?! Are you out of your minds?Q If I didn't arrive I think you two are making 'something' now! Killua! Come here! You need to explain this to me!"
Killua rolled his eyes, took a glance at Gon who is giving Leorio a worried look and finally followed the guy. They went to the terrace, leaving the curious boy alone.
Leorio hit Killua's head then knelt infront of him. He should be the father in their group so he needs to teach them or scold them. He can accept what they feel for each other of course he feels that to his friend too. But still, this two are still young to make some 'miracles' he and Kurapika didn't do…
"Killua, so you and Gon are-"
"No, he's still didn't tell me or confirmed that he loves me back unlike what I did… we're sorry…"
"Nah! Forget it! But I don't want you to make out with him like that again…"
Leorio pulled Killua into a fatherly embrace that made the albino smile and blush a little bit… "You're still young, especially Gon so please…" the albino felt like teasing Leorio so, he hugged back; burying his face on the other's shoulders. "Yes. Dad…" he mumbled and those made the other one pull out and give him a heartfelt smile.
They went back to Gon and the brunette sat beside them and told them that he will leave tomorrow. Gon suddenly felt sad so, he asked Leorio why but the other didn't answer instead, asked Gon.
"Gon are you and Kurapika alright now?" the boy nodded then rested his head on the pillows. "Good, anou… sorry for what I did earlier Gon…" he said as he pats the other's head. "It's alright Leorio…" the boy said as he sends him a smile.
"Anou… can I sleep here?"
Killua and Gon looked at each other but immediately looked away because it was so awkward to them. They nodded so Leorio thanked them.

Kurapika punched the wall and cried. He doesn't know why he feels more hurt than earlier when he knows Leorio will leave him. He is a little bit comforted by the thought of the brunette and Osaki's relationship was now gone but… leaving him with anger that is packaged within his heart and not knowing if they can be alright kills him slowly.
He knows that he and Killua can still be friends after all but he and Leorio… separated from each other, not sure if they can see each other again makes his heart stop. Maybe I love Le- NO! he still denied to himself.
He just looked at Leorio's things on the bed and felt that his body weakened that's why he went to Leorio's bed and laid himself on it. He feels miserable…
"I don't know if this 'hurt' symbolizes 'love' or 'friendship'… I only know that you are important to me… You matters a lot in my life Leorio…"
He totally had forgotten what happened to him and Killua on the shore. Everything as well as the painful reply of the boy to him. That was all gone except for Leorio's words;
"I don't care anymore…"
That was the only thing that retained in his mind now. Because of those thoughts, he passed out. Tears on his face and a wound on his chained hand was the souvenir of this moment.
"I need you… I love… you…" he mumbled unconsciously while sleeping.

"What else can I do for you?"
"Nothing… arigatou… you can leave now…"
The assassin said coldly to the girl and after that, Osaki disappeared. The jester walked towards Illumi then spoke up. "Illumi, now that they are fighting. What will we do next?"
The assassin walked away then spoke coldly. "Just wait."
Hisoka noticed that after what happened earlier, Illumi seemed so oblivious to his presence. It made him think… Their relationship is still a question to him also and that made it harder to analyze what's happening…
He just followed Illumi through the dark alley that they came from.

Leorio had woke up and now he was walking towards his room. Before leaving Gon and Killua, he stared at them as if he's saving their innocent images on his mind.
And he reached their room; he used to spare key to open the door and saw the blonde's sleeping figure on the bed.
He was astonished when he analyzed that Kurapika was sleeping on his bed beside his things. He walked towards him; closing the door studiously; not wanting to wake the blonde up. When he was near him, he heard the boy mumbled…
"Kill… Killua… you… fooled… you Gon… and ummn…"
"Huh?" he managed to say but he suddenly felt agitated but he is still angry so, he immediately took his suitcase; making the blonde wake up.
Kurapika suddenly sat and met Leorio. He suddenly ran to the bathroom and fixed himself.
After a few minutes, he went out and asked Leorio why he will leave. "I'm tired Kurapika… All this time you showed that I'm only a simple comrade… I'm so sick of those stuffs…"
The blonde was shocked at Leorio's statement. Why will you be sick of our friendship? He asked himself. Kurapika walked to Leorio then gave him a glare.
"What do you want me to do?! I cannot understand you now Leorio! I don't know!"
Leorio frowned then raised an eyebrow at him. I thought you will realize it… he remembered what Osaki told him before she left; she said that Kurapika told them that he will never love Leorio… The brunette wanted to clear that so, he inquired.
"So, what happened between you and Killua?"
"Huh?! Now you're asking about that? Are you getting crazier Leorio?!"
He smirked at the blonde. He wanted to confirm if everything that he knows is true so… "That's the last thing I wanted to know before I go… I want everything else to be clear as the sky…" The blonde then nodded then rolled his eyes before speaking. If this will be the last thing I can do for you…
"We were alright but… I'm still-"
"You still love him ne? Answer me…"
"Of course! Why would I forget Killua?!"
With his answer, Leorio confirmed that he still loves him. Surely, it hurts a lot on his side. Knowing that the person you love is still madly in love with someone who refused him. You devotes your life on that person but he devotes his life on someone else. How ironic.
He was a very stubborn person so he again inquired but unlike the first question; it is harder to answer and that bothered the blonde. "Alright then, another thing… Is it true that you told Osaki something about your feelings towards me?"
The blonde gasped instead of answering. Leorio glowered at him that made him bite his lips. He gripped his wounded chained hand because he thought that, that can comfort him.
So the brunette decided to just look into his brown orbs that he tried to read. It was so soulful but 'lonely' indeed.
Kurapika cannot find the right way to answer and even the answer with that intriguing question the other's asked so, "Why are you doing this to me?! Why are you so angry at me?! What is I said yes? Yes I did it!" he decided to go with his rage just to have the strength to say it to him.
He decided to close his eyes just to avoid Kurapika's state. Yes, he was beautiful but he is so lonely and it hurts Leorio. Another thing that made a tear slip on the brunette's face was his answer; so, it is true that he will never love him…
Kurapika wanted to know! He wants to inquire to so, he asked again but it was answered by…
Leorio wanted to stop himself from doing it but he can't.
He suddenly pushed Kurapika towards the wall and placed his lips over him. The blonde was shocked, Leorio is… kissing him? Is this the answer? He cannot move to the fact that Leorio is penetrating him, is bothering him another thing, he himself is getting… comfortable with it… NO! his mind screamed at him so…
His nen activated and he pushed hi away from him. "You pervert!" He gave the brunette an incredible slap on the face.
"How dare you *sob* do that to me…?" he cried infront of Leorio who was also shocked with his own actions but feigned that he really wanted to do that…
"I… I love you Kurapika… I really do! But why didn't you notice it?! I showed everything I can just to let you know that I really do love you… Osaki told me that you wouldn't have feelings for me… ever… so, what can I do? I'll just leave to make me forget you… I… I know you hate me so, Sayonara Kurapika…"
After saying that, he turned his back at him; saving the last glance of the blonde inside his mind. Maybe this is the thing that ended their friendship… Yes for him, it has been ended.
Kurapika regained his consciousness after a minute. His bestfriend was now gone with the hurt that he gave him. Leorio was so angry and hurt because of him and he can't take it any longer.
He shouted what his heart kept telling him for a long time. The thing that he just hid by the thought of "I love Killua" even though it is obvious to himself that he was just hiding something behind it…
Yeah, he loves Killua but when he saw and bonded with HIM again; something changed… He just can't admit to himself that…
"I LOVE YOU LEORIO PALADIKNIGHT!"
So ironic… it was too late, his man was gone. Why didn't I tell it to him earlier?! I'm really the idiot one! Now… I lost you Leorio… What can Kurapika do now? Yes he is smart but what is the sense of that? He didn't had the chance to solve his own logic in life. His bestfriend that became his inspiration left him…
"I love you… *sob* I wish you'll come… back! Please… I'm very very sorry… Sorry Leo…rio…"

"Gon, Leorio left…"
The younger boy frowned but still, Killua gave him a heartful embrace that made him alright. But a sudden though came into his mind, I still need to fix my own problems.
He suddenly pulled out then told the other that he'll just take a bath. Killua just waited for him and fixed their room.
Suddenly, few knocks were heard that's why, Killua stopped what he is doing and opened the door. There, he met Kurapika and he is obviously come out from a bath. He stared at Killua coldly then told him that…
"We need to leave Killua…"
