Thank you all for the kind reviews! This chapter was more of a transitioning chapter, mainly because so much could happen in one day!

Hope this is alright!

I do not own cm or their characters!

Enjoy!

Reid unlocked the hotel room that they rented for the night. He could tell Emily was a happy woman. He felt bad that he had put her and the team through so much, so why not try to give her a treat.

"I like it," Prentiss said in approval. Reid nodded.

"It is pretty good," Reid agreed.

"Do you have any plans for tonight?" Prentiss questioned sitting on the bed.

"Sleep," Reid admitted while sitting at the desk.

"You're not going to eat?" She asked raising an eyebrow.

"Em, I don't exactly have an appetite at the moment," Reid admitted.

"When was the last time I saw you eat something?" Prentiss said in mock concentration. "Oh yeah, that's right I think it was sometime before you quit? Maybe even longer?" She looked directly at him.

"Prentiss," Reid whined childishly.

"No, Reid. Unless you want to end up back in a hospital for malnutrition, you shouldn't argue with me," Prentiss smirked.

"But my stomach hurts," Reid pouted.

"Then you can eat small amounts of food. Let's start with something small, like crackers?" Prentiss questioned. She still had some in her pocket from the hospital. She laughed as Reid made a disgusted face.

"You know, I don't know if the doctor would recommend it," Spencer tried one last time.

"Then you should've thought about that before you left," Prentiss smiled while getting up to hand Reid the small packet of crackers.

"Thanks," Reid mumbled wrinkling his nose.

Emily sighed and laid down in the bed.

"Tell me something," Emily started gaining Reid's attention. "What do you plan to do to Birsha when you finally confront him," She asked. She noticed that Spencer became real quiet, which piqued her interest.

"Kill him," Spencer said quietly while taking a bite of the cracker. Emily automatically sat up.

"Reid, I don't know if you should do that," Prentiss warned.

"I know, but it is the best option," Reid admitted putting the crackers down. They were starting to make him feel sick.

"Reid we can arrest him," Prentiss said softly.

"What if he escapes," Reid challenged. Prentiss couldn't answer that considering how easy Reid got out, but Reid had a true medical reason to be escorted out of the prison. She knew Reid's fear was valid. She had the same fear every day.

"Reid, just let us help you," Prentiss promised.

"I don't want any of you to get hurt," Reid countered.

"Reid, we go after the worst of humanity day in and day out. You think we can't handle the one person who is forcing you to live in fear?" Prentiss challenged. Reid stared at her. She was right, but there's a difference.

"Prentiss, you guys are on the job. This isn't exactly called upon by a police force," Spencer said stubbornly.

"No, but we all have our personal cases. We help each other out no matter the cost. Spencer, Gideon came out of hiding just to help you. Trust me when I say that we can handle this guy and his little fan club," Prentiss smiled. Reid couldn't help but smile back at her. "Besides if you let us help you then you can actually get better. We don't know how you do it, but ignoring all your pain only makes it worse later on," Emily added.

"Prentiss, pain isn't new to me. Having messed up shoulders is nothing. Getting shot is painful, but it's nothing new. Getting stabbed was new. Yeah, that was new, but getting shot was worse," Spencer admitted.

"Goodness Reid, I think you're sadistic," Prentiss chuckled.

"No! I'm not! It's just that I can live despite the pain. As they say, living isn't for the weak," Reid admitted. Prentiss nodded in agreement.

"You're definitely not weak," She agreed. "But you could get stronger. Let's get the team over here, and work this all out. You can rest, rebuild your appetite, and go from there," Prentiss encouraged.

"Why do you make it sound like it's so easy?" Reid questioned.

"Because Reid, sometimes the answers are right in front of you, but you over-think it," Prentiss admitted. "What do you say?" She asked. Reid thought long and hard about her question. In a way… No she was right. Was he really over-thinking things? Should he really ask the people he cares about to risk their lives for him?

"Spencer, we can all keep each other safe. Remember, we are a team," She said and Spencer nodded.

"Fine," Spencer whispered. This time, he'll have to take the chance. He had to trust them. He had to hope that it would be better for them all like this. He watched as Emily pulled out her cell phone and dialed a number. Spencer figured she called Hotch.

"Hey Hotch," He heard her say.

"Yeah, he came through. It took a bit of convincing." He heard her chuckle a little.

"Las Vegas? Alright." Emily hung up. She turned to him with a bright smile.

"Well, he'll meet up with us when we hit Vegas. Probably get JJ and Garcia down there as well. It's just you and I on the road. Which, by the way, I'm driving, because you're not that good at it," She smirked. Spencer gave her the best glare he could make up, but it only made her laugh.

"Get some sleep Dr. Reid. We have a long couple of days ahead of us, and you need to get better," She smiled and Spencer walked over to the other bed. He crawled in slowly, wincing as the pain finally crept up on him.

"You okay," He heard Prentiss asked.

"I'm fine. Have a nice night," Spencer said. "Feel free to order yourself room service if you're hungry."

Before she could respond, he was already asleep.

"You're not okay," She said quietly as she turned off the lamp.

Morgan met back up with Hotch and Rossi.

"Well Dr. Seinfeld is going to Prison," Rossi smiled.

"At least Reid isn't there. Heaven knows what could happen if he cornered Reid," Hotch added.

"What do you mean?" Morgan asked.

"The doctor had some… Feelings for Reid, to put it lightly," Rossi said looking at Morgan.

"You mean that son of a bitch was—"

"Was going to purchase Reid and have Reid fulfill whatever fantasy he had plans for," Hotch finished.

Morgan officially wished he went with Hotch and Rossi. He wouldn't have been so kind as to put him in prison.

"What about the inmate?" Rossi asked before Morgan could work himself up.

"He's clean. Reid got into a fight and ended up getting jumped by a couple of other inmates," Morgan sighed. He watched as Hotch's face got harder.

"Did he say anything about their punishment?" Hotch questioned.

"No, I had Garcia send me the video footage so I could see for myself," Morgan frowned, "Hotch, those guards just let them attack Reid."

"Let us see the video," Rossi said calmly. Morgan took out the iPad and immediately went straight to the video. They watched as Reid put up a hell of a fight, but frowned when he was attacked from behind. Then their eyes widened once an inmate came and killed one of the men who jumped Reid.

"That was the guy you interviewed right?" Hotch asked and Morgan nodded.

"What's his connection to Reid," Rossi asked.

"There was mutual respect," Morgan answered.

"Alright, well Emily called and she was able to convince Reid that our help would be beneficial for him," Hotch said and Morgan's eyes widened in surprise. Before he could speak Hotch held up a hand.

"We will meet them in Las Vegas. I will have to speak with Strauss and make sure we can go help Reid," Hotch said calmly.

"But, she wants us back at the bureau," Morgan said shaking his head.

"I know, but she may not have a choice, we are down by three agents leaving only you, me, and Rossi. Not to mention our tech analyst Garcia is "coping" with PTSD. According to her, we wouldn't be able to get our job done," Hotch answered. Rossi smiled at Hotch's idea. Hotch basically gave them all a reason to just go save Reid. If he knew Strauss well enough, she would fall for it. Rossi's phone rang and Rossi headed out.

"Who is Rossi communicating with most of the time?" Morgan asked.

"I don't know if we are supposed to know," Hotch said. When Rossi walked back in, he had a smug smile.

"Rossi, what's going on? You're acting more secretive than Reid," Morgan questioned.

"Well, Morgan, you should be thanking me. The police won't be looking for Reid. He got out on bail. Not to mention that his mother is set for the next six months," Rossi smirked. Morgan smiled at Rossi. He knew he could count on the man.

"Thank you, Rossi!" Morgan smiled. Now he didn't have to worry about the police re-arresting Reid. He was surprised that Rossi paid for Diana's institution bills, but knew that if Reid didn't, then his mother would have to go to the state.

"I think you just saved Reid from a great amount of stress," Hotch said. His way of a compliment.

"Yes, now all we have to do is hope Reid is a good boy for the time being. Let's hurry up and grab Garcia and JJ," Rossi said. With nothing else to do, they all headed out to the SUV. It was time to finish what was started.

I mainly wanted to focus on Prentiss and Reid. She always seemed to bring out his best when he started falling... (Or was I the only one who thought that?)

So I hope this chapter was pretty okay annndddd...
