Chapter 25!

laviathon10: Really glad you found the Chapter hilarious! It was fun to write and I'm glad that I didn't get any hate reviews for it. Glad you're enjoying the story!

Bentstua: Thanks for the suggestion and I'll see if I can find a place for your idea in the story! Glad again that you were not offended.

Guest (multiple chapters): Glad you like it and I hope to hear more from you in the future.

A/N: I apologize if the last Chapter seemed a little weird, but I figured that Yusei not being school smart might make him want to be street smart. I didn't get any mean or hateful reviews, so I think most people were fine with it.

Also, I had quite a few issues in the past few weeks, so sorry for the slow update!

As the weeks went by, Yusei looked at the calender every day. School was getting a little better, now that he was in the groove. Still, he felt bad when Akiza had better test scores in every one of their classes than he did. Yusei didn't do terribly, but it wasn't Akiza's score either. Still, Akiza assured him that he did a great job and getting some encouragement from Martha helped. On top of that, the two of them studied together for every one of their tests. Yusei was more than happy, as it let them talk and also have fun afterwards (and not just physically).

Still, as Yusei looked at the calender, he spotted a spot that he had forgotten about. "Akiza's Birthday," it said in early November. Yusei saw his Birthday just about a week after that. Yusei felt so different now than when he wrote it. When he did, Akiza and him were just really, really good friends. Yusei was going to just get Akiza a gift card to a restaurant she enjoyed. Now, he felt like that wasn't enough. Instead, he should get her something more meaningful and one that would be special. After all, it was her first Birthday now that they were a well known couple.

But what to give her? Yusei wasn't sure. Akiza had gone home for the day, as their classes were all done. When the twins came, Yusei was still lost in thought of what to give her. "Yusei?" Leo called as they stood at the door. Yusei just stared at the wall, looking into space. Leo and Luna looked at one another and then ran downstairs. "Yusei?" Leo asked. Luna smiled. "Akiza flashed her boobs at school!" she cried. Yusei immediately snapped out of it. "What?" he asked, "Akiza? Boobies? Huh?" He turned to the twins who giggled. Luna smiled. "What were you doing Yusei?" she asked, "You looked as though you were very deep in thought. Yusei sighed. "I am," he replied, "Just...thinking." Leo frowned.

"Thinking about what?" he asked. Yusei sighed. "Just...Akiza's Birthday. That's all." Leo smiled. "Oh yeah, that's right! It's in a couple of weeks," he noted. Luna nodded. "Yeah and it's actually on the same day as Dexter's," she noted. Leo laughed. "I find that so weird that Akiza and Dexter just happen to have the exact same Birthday." Luna nodded. "Yeah, but it makes it cooler in the fact that they both share something in common." Yusei turned to them. "So what are you going to get Dexter for his Birthday?" he asked. Leo shrugged.

"Um...that's something we're going to do in the future," Leo answered. Luna huffed. "Leo, just admit it. We don't have a gift yet." Leo put his hands on his hips. "Yeah, but so what? We could say that the backpack we got him was a gift in itself. Plus that way, we wouldn't have to get him something." Luna disagree. "But then that's taking away the special value of that gift," she fired back, "It makes it seem as though it's a two for one." Yusei looked back and forth as they went back and forth. "What's wrong with that?" Leo asked. "That back to school backpack was for back to school. Not his Birthday!" Yusei put his hands in the air.

"All right! You guys! Just get him something else for his Birthday!" Luna smiled. "Thank you for taking my side Yusei." Leo stuck his tongue out. "Come on Yusei! Why do you have to take her side?" Yusei put his hand onto his shoulder. "I'm not on anyone's side," he replied, "I'm just saying that Luna has a point and that you shouldn't try to count a back to school gift, a few months old, as a Birthday present." Luna folded her arms contently. "However, since Luna's Dexter's girlfriend, maybe she could consider getting him something special." Leo pointed at her.

"Ha! You see that! You have to get him something!" Luna was quick to note, "But he's your best friend, so shouldn't you get him something too Leo?" Leo smiled. "Relax! I already know what I'm going to get him." Yusei was interested. "What is it?" he asked. Leo stumbled. "A...gift...card," he replied, "Yeah! That's it!" Luna frowned. "To where?" she questioned. Leo looked around. "I'll find some place Dex likes," he answered, "But for now, we'd better be going home." Luna and Leo decided that their homework needed to be done and they were soon on their way. As Yusei started making frozen pizza for dinner, he still wasn't sure to get Akiza for her Birthday. Yet, he knew that if could think of something, anything really, she would probably like it no matter what it was.

The next morning, Dexter sighed as he went outside of his apartment. He covered his mouth and yawned as he slowly went down the steps. When he got to the bottom, he gasped as Leo and Luna came over to him. "Hey Dexter!" Luna said excitedly, "I see you're wearing the backpack we got you." Dexter nodded. "Y..yeah. It's the only one I have now that I threw out my old one." Luna added, "Well you look very handsome wearing it." Dexter tried to smile as Luna giggled at him. Leo waved over at him. "Hey Dex! Ready for school?" Dexter nodded.

"I'm nervous about the test today," he admitted as they started walking. Luna smiled. "You'll do great Dexter! I know you will." Dexter looked ahead. "I hope so," he remarked. As they walked Dexter found himself having to strain his neck upwards to see his two best friends. Dexter was average height for a guy, but Leo and Luna were well above that. It made Dexter feel a bit self-conscious as well. When they stopped at a red light, Dexter asked them a question, although a bit nervously. "Hey guys..." he said slowly. They both looked at him as Dexter looked down. "Do you feel weird having to be friends with a guy who's so short?" Leo and Luna frowned at one another, as they looked at each other, and they both turned their attention to their best friend in the whole world.

"Of course not!" Leo replied, "Besides Dexter do you think we chose to be this tall? Especially in Luna's case since anyone over six feet tall for woman is a giant!" Dexter felt bad for his stupid question, but Luna put a reassuring hand on his shoulder. "Plus," Leo continued, "Our family has a history of people with long legs." He dug in his pocket and showed a picture of him and his parents. However, his parent's from the shoulder up were ripped off. "You still have picture of them?" Dexter asked. Leo nodded.

"Yes, because, while having lots of money is nice, it shouldn't come before family." Luna nodded. "That's right," she replied and stood next to her brother. "But as you can see, a lot of their height is caused by their long, long legs." Dexter nodded and looked at Leo and Luna, as Leo put the wallet back in his pocket. Dexter, meanwhile, looked over his two best friends. "Well...you guys sure do have long, long legs..." Dexter noted as he panned up from their shoes on up. A suddenly gust of wind came and blew Luna's short, short school skirt up, nearly showing her underwear. Dexter gasped as it got dangerously close to uncovering Luna's panties and his face flushed red, as he closed his eyes, and looked away.

When he did open his eyes, Leo and Luna giggled at his embarrassed face. "Um...can I ask you guys another question?" Dexter asked. "Yeah," Luna replied. Dexter was embarrassed, but asked anyways. "Did...the school make the girl's skirt shorter or have your long legs made it look shorter?" Luna smiled. "Well...a combination of both," Luna admitted. Leo put his hands behind his head and they started walking towards school. "Yeah. The school cut inches off on the skirt, citing budget cuts, but I think..." Leo told them. Dexter again thought his question turned out to be really stupid, but Luna put a hand on his shoulder while she leaned in close to his ear.

"Don't worry about it Dexter. Besides, I have some surprises in store for you." Dexter looked at her funny and Luna giggled. She took his hand and pulled him to catch up with her brother. Dexter wasn't sure what 'surprises' were, but he was intrigued. When he got to school, Dexter looked around, and noticed the other girl's short skirts as well. Dexter felt embarrassed for looking at other girls, but Luna looked over and brought his attention back to her. They walked into school together, much faster than other students, and talked about their upcoming day. Dexter was still a little nervous when it came to talking to Luna, but she didn't mind at all.

As Luna sat in her first class, she thought about what she promised Dexter. 'Surprises?" she thought, 'What kind of surprises should I get him?" Luna sighed and slumped her chin into her hands. She might have wanted to look before she leaped on that one. When the second and third classes were over, that left the fourth class, one which Luna and Dexter had together. When she sat down, she smiled as she looked next to the guy sitting next to her. Luna had lucked out that they got to pick their seats, in their advanced math class, and no one was going to stop her from sitting next to her boyfriend.

As the teacher handed out the test, Dexter gulped nervously. Luna quickly tapped his shoulder. Dexter turned and Luna gave him a wink. Dexter felt his face flush a tiny bit, as Luna's wink was pretty cute. They both then turned their attention to the test. Once Luna was done with her test, she handed it in, and went back to her seat. She turned and still saw Dexter looking at his test. He was on the last page and Luna watched as he went to the front page. He already had stuff written down and Luna smiled as he double checked his answers.

When the test was over, the bell rang, and everyone headed out of class. Before Dexter could race off to the next class, Luna grabbed him by the shoulder. "What did you think of the test?" she asked. Dexter turned to her. "Uh...it was okay," he replied. Luna frowned. "Do you think you did okay?" she asked. Dexter shrugged. "Hopefully," he replied. He then headed off to the next class. For most people, this would be concerning. Yet, for Dexter, he had said this about lots of tests last year, but he did well on almost all of them. So, Luna didn't have much worry. It was Dexter just being self-doubting again. A trait that would bother a lot of people, but didn't bat an eye for Luna.

When the day was over, Luna headed over to the garage. She had made a deal with Leo that if he got high enough on his test, he could come with her everyday to the garage for the rest of the week. When he didn't get the mark, Leo had to go to the Tops and study. As Luna walked, she remembered the walk to school a few hours ago and her promise to Dexter about surprises. She didn't want to make it seem forced, but now her sly little comment was turning into a big problem. When she got to the garage, Yusei was pacing back and forth.L

"What do I do? What do I get her?" he said to himself. "Yusei?" Luna asked and Yusei gasped as he looked up. "Oh...uh...hey Luna," Yusei greeted her awkwardly. Luna stepped down the steps and Yusei came over to her. It still shocked him how tall both her and her brother are. It was so awkward to be pulling his head up to see her, especially since he knew her when she was almost half his height. "So where's Leo?" Yusei asked, "Did he not pass the test with a high enough score?" Luna shook her head. "Nope. A C+ might be good for hearing his name called a graduation, but we agreed to try and make at least the B honor roll this year." Yusei smiled. "I'm glad you really want him to care about his grades, but try not to be too hard on him. " Luna laughed.

"Don't worry Yusei. I won't." There was then an awkward pause, before Luna thought of a question. "So, what were you pacing and talking to yourself about?" Yusei looked down. "Um...just trying to think of a good Birthday present for Akiza again. After all, it's in a few weeks." Luna smiled. "That's right and Dexter's on the exact same day!" Yusei nodded. "I know. I hope there is something you can get him as well." Luna smiled and then got an idea. "Say Yusei, if you're having trouble, why not throw Akiza a surprise party?" Yusei looked surprised.

"A surprise party?" he asked. Luna nodded. "Yeah! You know: cake, ice cream, party hats, plates, and all that good stuff." Yusei was intrigued. "All right, but if we're having it for Akiza, why not Dexter too?" Luna gasped. "Really? That'd be great, but...are you sure? I mean, I wouldn't want to interrupt something special for the two of you." Yusei put his arm around her. "Come on Luna! It'd be great! Plus, you'd be there anyways! A two for one sounds great." Luna nodded. "I know! I can't wait to see Dexter's face when we surprise him! Plus, it would help keep my promise for him!" Yusei smiled as well. "All right," he answered back, "Lets try to get the details in order." Luna and Yusei sat down and got on the computer and looked up information.

The next day, Luna and Yusei didn't have all the details figured out yet. However, Luna was still excited to have a surprise party for two of her best friends. Leo and herself went to Dexter's house to walk to school together. As they walked, Luna was almost shaking in joy and excitement. "So, got any Birthday plans?" Luna asked, doing her best not to spoil the surprise. Dexter looked over at her. "No...not really," he responded, "Just another night at home." Luna frowned. "Don't think like that," Luna replied, "Leo and I will be sure to be with you. After all, it's your Birthday." Dexter smiled a small smile.

"Thanks. I really appreciate that." Luna smiled too and they soon made their way inside of school. Later, Luna went directly to Yusei's house. "Did you get the cake ordered yet?" Luna asked. Yusei slapped his forehead. "Aww man! I forgot. Hold on. Let me call the store." As Yusei got the number to the store, Luna went to his computer and looked up where Jack and Crow were going to be that weekend. Luckily enough, they were both in the closest event to New Domino City, for the rest of their shortened seasons.

"All right. Those guys better come to this," Luna said as she whipped out her phone. As she got on the line, Yusei and her talked to different people, at the same time, in the same room:

"Hello Bakery? Yes. I'd like to order a cake," Yusei said to a lady on the phone.

"Hey Jack. It's Luna. Listen, we're throwing a surprise party for Dexter and Akiza in a couple weeks," Luna spoke into her phone.

"White or chocolate?" Yusei debated, "Can't you just mix the two together?" The lady spoke back. "Oh yeah! Marble! Lets have that."

"Dexter! You know? Brown hair, brown eyes, square glasses?" Luna asked. Jack responded back to her. "No! Not Sly!" she shouted back,

"Aww man! You have fillings?" Yusei asked, "Oh man! What kind?" He waited a moment. "Strawberry! Strawberries kick butt!"

"Jack! If you don't come, I will shove my foot and leg up your butt and, trust me, they are much, much longer than you know!" She then hanged up and dialed Crow's number.

"Can you write, "Happy Birthday Akiza and Dexter on it?" Yusei asked, "Great!" He then paused. "I dunno why they were name that! Who am I? Their mother?"

"Hi Crow. Just hoping you could go to a surprise party for Dexter and Akiza in a couple of weeks. You can? Oh that sounds perfect!"

"Yusei as in, 'You say.' It's a weird name I know." He paused once more. "Again! I'm not my mother! Ugh! Thank you and I'll pick it up then."

They both hanged up and smiled. "Well that went well," Luna remarked.

Now that they had the plans for the party. However, Yusei still didn't have a gift for Akiza. When Luna came over again late in the week, Yusei still wasn't sure. "I don't want to get her something that's too fancy, but also something that isn't really cheap either." Yusei looked at Luna and saw a big dollar bill. "What?" Luna asked.

"Luna! Could you...possibly...help me buy my gift for Akiza?" he begged. Luna stared at him. "All right. I think I know what a woman like Akiza needs. Come on." As they walked out, Yami and Jaden came downstairs. "Where are Luna and Yusei going?" Jaden asked. Yami shrugged. "Maybe their getting some outfit for the party," Yami replied. "Speaking of which, what are we going to wear?" Jaden asked. "Our usual stuff," Yami replied, "Besides, this isn't a fancy dinner or anything."

When they got to the store, Yusei and Luna went straight to a place Luna was starting to get familiar with: the beauty section. "All right. Now, what brand of make does Akiza wear?" Luna asked. Yusei looked lost. "Um...shouldn't you know that?" he asked, "After all, she's talked to you about it." Luna put her hands on her hips. "Yeah, but I also use different colors and numbers. After all, we're different skin types. Don't you ever watch her put make up on?" Yusei put a finger to his lips.

"Uhh..." he groaned.

_Flashback_

Akiza was in the bathroom putting make up on. Yusei sat on the couch in a nice dress up shirt. "Are you almost ready?" he asked. "Not yet," she replied, "Putting on make up takes time." Yusei grumbled to himself as he looked down at his hands. "Oh my gosh," he said, "My hands have hair on them!" Yusei quickly started looking closely at them. "Oh man! I look like a freaking bear with all this hair on them!" he cried quietly.

"Yusei! Is everything all right?" Akiza called. "Um...yeah," Yusei replied, "No...bear looking hands around here." Yusei quickly stuffed his hands into his pocket to hide his hands. For the rest of the night, he hid his hands in his pockets as much as possible, until he could get home, and shave them.

_End Flashback_

"No," he finished. Luna sighed.

"All right then, lets look for something else." Yusei smiled as they went and walked past the shampoo and conditioner aisle. "What about this?" he asked and held up a value box of really fancy beauty products, promising in big letters to make you look better. "Yusei, you don't want to tell Akiza that she's ugly do you?" she asked. Yusei shook his head. "No," he replied. "Then put it back," Luna answered. Yusei did and they kept walking.

When they got to the clothes section, they immediately ruled it out. When they walked around through the toy and sports section, the only other places left were the Halloween and jewelry sections. "Uh uh. No way. No jewelry. It's wayyyyy to early for that." Luna frowned. "Come on Yusei! It only took you a gazillion years to tell Akiza that you like her. How long until you get her some kind of jewelry?" Yusei started to sweat.

"Uh...um...uh..." Luna pointed to some of the jewelry. "Oh my gosh! We should totally go to a jewelry store! I'm sure they'd have a much bigger selection!" Yusei pulled on his collar. "Uh...um... No!" he shouted. Luna looked around and several people stared at them. "Yusei. Calm down," Luna encouraged him, "What's the problem with jewelry?"

"Uh...nothing," Yusei replied. He spotted a bunch of fake rings. "Ahh! Rings!" Luna looked at them. "Rings?" she asked and looked closely at the fake rings. She looked at Yusei and gasped. "Wait! A ring! Weddings have rings." Luna got a sly smile. "Yusei, are you going to propose to Akiza?" Yusei shook his head. "Are you kidding? Weeks ago, I couldn't say something nice to her. Now I'm going to propose to her? Are you crazy?" Luna looked at him oddly.

"Okay. Don't need to get defensive or anything," Luna replied, "Come on. Lets check out the Halloween costumes." Yusei breathed a sigh of relief and they headed for the said section. As Yusei looked at all the scary stuff, he soon found himself looking back at the clothing section. There, he spotted a coat that had Akiza's name written all over it. He walked over to it and scanned it over. It was dark red and extremely warm when he put it on. Luna looked around and couldn't see it anywhere. She then saw Yusei wearing the girl's jacket.

"Yusei!" she shouted as she walked over to him, "Why are you wearing a girl's jacket?" Yusei looked at it. "It's not a girls jacket," he replied, "If I wasn't thinking about this for Akiza, I'd buy it for myself." Luna giggled. "Woah! Slow down Yusei. Don't get mad at me just for pointing out you're wearing a girl's jacket." Yusei frowned as he looked at it and then that it was in the girl's section. "Ahh!" he groaned, "Get it off! Get it off!" Luna laughed and took a good hard look at it. "This jacket screams Akiza." Luna checked the price. "Hmm...maybe you should get her some more stuff too." Yusei looked puzzled.

"Come on," Luna said as she took his hand, "Lets go look at the other winter attire." Yusei groaned. 'Clothes shopping?' he thought, 'Aww! I'd rather be looking at the jewelry!'

Later, Yusei came home, with a couple large shopping bags. Yami and Jaden stared at him as he came in. "Yusei, did you buy the whole store?" Jaden asked. Yusei shook his head. "No. I bought my birthday present for Akiza." Yami watched as Yusei set the bags down. "Let me see what you got," he noted as he walked over. Yusei quickly picked up the bags. "No way!" he cried, "I don't want you guys telling her anything." Yusei took the bags upstairs and went into one of the bedrooms. Yami and Jaden were a bit confused as to why Yusei was being so secret about it.

As the weeks went by, it got closer and closer to the big day. When Halloween came, it was only a few days until the party. Luna smiled as she looked around at the garage. The guys were having everyone over for Halloween. Since the guys still didn't have much money, they had to make their own costumes. "So Yusei, how's the toilet paper holding up?" Luna asked as she was in a fairy costume. "It's working out all right," Yusei answered, "But I kind of wish we hadn't gotten the really cheap stuff.

Out of no where, he felt some paper being torn from his foot. "Hey! What are you doing?" Yusei asked as he turned around in his mummy costume. Akiza, in her Stardust Dragon costume, smiled. "Just needed some for the bathroom," she replied. As she walked away, Yusei looked memorized at her. She was in his best card, but it was the girl inside that he loved more. When Akiza first came to it, the guys all laughed at him. "So how does it feel that your ace card is being beaten by your girlfriend?" Jaden slyly remarked. Yusei looked embarrassed and complimented her on her selection. Still, Yusei felt a little guilty that Akiza went out of her way to do this for him.

As Yusei went back from fazing out, he went back to talking to the baseball player Jaden and basketball player Yami. Yusei had found some old, but very large uniforms that Martha had given to Jack, Crow, and himself growing up. They then had to debate who would look the best in them. The uniforms were falling off the three former Signers growing up and, even with the top duelists of three generations being adults, the three men having lanky frames lead to the clothes to still look like they were falling off of them. Yusei thought that, since he grew up wearing them, Yami and Jaden should have the opportunity to wear them. He then had to think of a cheap and easy costume, so the mummy costume fit the bill.

"So will Akiza like her gift?" Yami asked, "I mean, she did have something on coming over here." Yusei nodded. "Yeah, but I would think she would still wear my stuff. After all, I am her boyfriend, and the jacket is going to look good on her." Jaden took a sip of soda. "What if she secretly doesn't like it?" Yusei shrugged. "Akiza would, I think, be honest with me. Plus, Luna ended up paying for everything, so she could go shopping with her, if she wanted a different one. They might not be big shoppes, just like us, but they certainly have better fashion sense."

"You got that right!" Leo said as he stood out in his Power Tool Dragon costume. Yusei rolled his eyes, as Akiza had found it when looking for Yusei's dragon.

A few days later, it was time for the surprise party. Dexter sighed as he got up and he went online. People were wishing him Happy Birthday and he replied happily to all of them. Still, he didn't feel very happy. Today would go on as any other day would. Leo and Luna told him to meet them at the Tops at 7. He sighed as he would then feel guilty at them buying him some kind of gift. Still, Leo insisted that he needed to go out more and should spend more time with them. Dexter got up and ready for school.

For Akiza, as the day progressed, she also got Happy Birthday wishes, much more than Dexter did. One of them was a private message from Yusei, telling her that they would have the Tops to themselves that night. Akiza was a bit confused, but also remembered that it was Dexter's Birthday too. So, maybe the twins would spend the night at his house, and go to school the next morning. Akiza asked him if that was the case, to which he said a simple, "Yes." In truth, Yusei wasn't sure how to answer it, so any excuse Akiza thought of would do it. He looked over his shoulder as the conversation ended and a big banner hanged over the windows in the living room.

As the clock got closer to 7, Dexter sighed. He had tried to study for a test, but he couldn't concentrate. He felt as though Leo and Luna were forced to do this for him, not necessarily because they wanted to. Were they his best friends? Yes, but that didn't mean they had to do this. Still, Dexter put on his heavy coat and went outside. He could see his breath as he walked. When he got to the Tops, he rushed inside to the warmth. He then went up the elevator to the top floor. When he was there, he saw Akiza standing at the door. She then turned to face him.

"Hey Dexter!" she cried and they gave each other hugs, "Happy Birthday." Dexter blushed and quickly leaned back. "Happy Birthday to you too," he replied a bit awkwardly. Akiza smiled as she looked at them. Luna and her had talked a lot about him together, including some things that Luna didn't want even her brother to know. Still, the more they had talked, the more Akiza realized why she liked being a with a dork like Dexter over some hunk. Plus, Luna and Akiza shared many similar feelings about their man and their interactions with them.

"I thought you were having the twins come to your place," Akiza noted. Dexter shook his head. "No. They told me to come here and meet them." Akiza frowned. "Well that's weird. Yusei said that we'd have the apartment all to ourselves." Dexter became a bit nervous, but Akiza took his hand, much like Luna taking his. "We're going inside and seeing what's going on," she continued in a firm tone. Dexter nodded and Akiza managed to open the door, as it was unlocked.

Instantly, the lights went on. "Happy Birthday!" everyone shouted. Well...except for Jack, who kept his arms folded. Dexter and Akiza gasped and felt their hearts skip a beat or two. Luna and Yusei tried to carry a large sheet of cake that read, "Happy Birthday Akiza and Dexter." As the two came up to show it to them, Dexter and Akiza put hands over their mouths. "Crow, bring over the table so we can set this down!" Luna shouted. She then quickly smiled back at the two Birthday guests. Crow raced a small table over and they set the cake down.

Yusei went up to Akiza and gave her a great big hug and kiss, as Akiza thanked him for it. Luna slowly walked over to Dexter and smiled brightly at him. Seeing him smile made her smile and squirm with delight. She gave Dexter a big hug and he thanked her for this. When she leaned back, Luna started to lean forward, but remembered what Dexter told her.

_Flashback_

"I'm sorry, but I'm not ready yet. I want it to be a less sudden moment," he confessed. He worried that Luna would get mad, but she smiled instead. "That's okay Dexter. Whenever you're ready," she said calmly and removed her hands from his head.

_End Flashback_

Luna stopped herself, before having to say anything. Still, Dexter knew the feeling was in himself as well. He looked around and got his first real good look at the apartment. A banner read the same as the cake and there was finger sandwiches to eat, with chips, and other snack foods. "It looks wonderful," he replied and Luna smiled. "And it's all for you two," she replied. Luna then let go and let their other friends greet him. Dexter thanked everyone, just like Akiza did as well. They all got food and started talking. Even Dexter, who was normally very quiet, started talking, and sharing stories. Luna loved seeing this side of him and proved her point about getting him to open up.

Later, they all sang, "Happy Birthday," and together, Akiza and Dexter blew every one of the candles out. They all ate cake and then it was time for gifts. Akiza went first and opened two large bags. "Oh! A jacket!" she cried and turned to her boyfriend. "Well...Luna helped me out a little." Akiza turned and Luna winked at her. Akiza then dove into the second bag. "Oh! A hat, mittens, and a scarf!" She then put her outfit on and showed it off. "How do I look?" she asked and turned to her boyfriend.

"You better say she looks good or Akiza's going to kick your butt!" Crow commented and Akiza gave him a mean look. Akiza then turned back to Yusei. "Um...well...do you like it?" he asked, "We picked it out for you, so I think it looks good on you. Don't just like it, because I got it for you." Akiza was tickled pink. "Of course I like it Yusei," she said with a peck on the cheek. "And besides, if I didn't like it, we can always take it back and find a new one." Yusei nodded. "Well...I'm still happy you enjoyed it." Akiza and Yusei shared a hug.

"All right Dexter, your turn," Luna informed him. She looked around. "Leo! Where are the gifts?" she asked. "All right," Leo replied, "Let me get them!" Dexter watched as Leo soon came downstairs with a leaning tower of gifts. Dexter looked at Luna. "You guys! You didn't have to do this for me." Leo set the gifts down. "Of course we did Dex. It's your Birthday." Luna smiled. "And if you thought this was big, wait until Christmas." Dexter became even more guilty. "You guys...I...uh..." Luna came over and hugged him. "It's all right Dexter. You've earned it. Plus, we love you." Dexter sighed. "Thanks Luna."

Dexter soon opened the gifts and found a lot of clothes and a few electronics. After everything was opened, Dexter and Akiza thanked everyone. "All right. We're leaving," Jack said quickly. Yusei frowned. "But you were barely here," he commented. Crow threw his hand. "Yeah, but we've got to get going. Sponsors and promoters don't care about Birthdays." Everyone said goodbye and, soon, Yami and Jaden left. Then, Leo was tired and went to bed. It was now down to the two couples.

"Well...this was all great," Akiza noted as she looked at Yusei. She gave him a kiss and he gave as kiss back. As Dexter and Luna watched, Dexter looked over at Luna, who instinctively gave him a hug. Even though they both loved hugs, they knew this wasn't enough. Finally, Dexter gulped. "Luna..." he said a bit shyly. Luna kept her arms around him. "Was it it Dexter?" He took a deep breath.

"Can we...kiss?" Luna was taken a back, but smiled. She then closed her eyes and leaned in. Dexter did too, but he soon stopped. "Wait!" he cried. Luna opened her eyes and leaned back slightly. "I've...never kissed, so I don't know what to do. I want it to be special." Luna leaned in close and smiled. "Don't worry Dexter. It's my first kiss too. That already makes it special. So, don't worry. Just relax and you'll do great. Just follow my lead." Dexter nodded and they both restarted again. Yusei and Akiza turned to them and watched. They closed their eyes and leaned forward. Finally, their lips touched.

They waited there a few moments and Luna finally leaned back. Dexter did too. "That was...amazing," Dexter remarked. Luna agreed. "Yes it was." All of a sudden, they heard clapping. "Congratulations you two," Akiza noted. The couple blushed slightly. "Yeah," Yusei replied, "Congratulations and I hope we see much more of that in the future." They turned redder and the older couple laughed.

A/N: Sorry again for the long wait, but I hope it was okay.

Next time: Thanksgiving and more duels!
