Before I Take Your Ordeh
That was it for Leah; upon walking to Annie's in hopes of help over finding her dead werewolf ghost brother yet again, she'd nearly made it to the front door when she overheard a couple of angry raised voices. By the time she had reached the front door, she'd hear every single word as if she was in there with them.
Just as she turned around to leave, Bo appeared out of no where, making her jump slightly, still not used to him being a ghost. Instantly, she shot him a glare before brushing coldly past him without a single word.
"Shit." He muttered to himself, realising that she had probably heard him and the vampire arguing. He snapped out of it quickly and ran after her, following closely beside her as she stormed back down the steep street. "Leah -"
"The next thing that comes out of that snout of yours better be the fucking truth or you can keep it fucking closed." She snapped, cutting him off harshly. She continued walking, still not looking at him.
"How much did you hear?" He asked, clearly not thinking. Typical.
She scoffed, but still answered, though bitterly. "Enough." He sighed in defeat.
"Leah -"
She suddenly stopped walking altogether and faced him, clearly pissed off as she narrowed her eyes up at him. "I thought you were my brother. I thought you loved me. I guess it's what I get for wishful thinking." She snapped angrily, though he could sense, let alone see how hurt she was hurting.
"I do love you." He said softly, his own expression showing hurt. How could she even think that?
She scoffed again, laughing bitterly this time, obviously not believing. "I can't trust the vampire and his friends and I can't trust you anymore either." She glared when tears started to brim his eyes, not taking any sympathy or mercy with him for the first time ever. "You think you're the only one hurting right now? For fuck sake, Bo! You always think the World and his sodding wife revolve around you!" She snapped, making him hang his head in shame, silently admitting to that.
"Leah," He gave her a hopeful, but it looked more desperate to her as he tried one last time to win her over, forgetting that he wasn't the only one that had changed lately.
She gave him a soft look, one that looked as though she might have been thinking it over, but otherwise kept silent.
He took that as some sort of hint. "I'm you're brother."
Leah felt herself crumbling, but at the very last moment, somehow, she managed to drag herself back and for the first time ever she said; "No." - to her brother. She felt herself harden from the inside out as she glared at him. "My brother is dead." She said, her tone harsh, but firm.
He shot her a clear look of desperation, his tears slipping down his cheeks now.
"He was all I had and now all I have is my mission to find out what the hell I am and you're not involved." She stated, her tone as vacant as her expression before she brushed past him once again, storming off.
This time, he didn't follow.

Leah slipped quietly into the booth, hoping just to have a nice normal lunch by herself for the first time in her life ever. To start with, she should have picked a different cafe, if there was one as close to her house as one that happened to hopefully unknowingly employ the supernatural...
Hal sighed, his heart dropping as he spotted her sitting alone in the corner, though he didn't want to make a scene. "Tom." He called from the kitchen.
Tom appeared a second later, poking his head between the gypsey curtains with a curious expression. "Yeah?"
Hal nodded towards Leah.
Tom spotted her instantly and smiled. "Swap?" He asked, earning a nod from the vampire.
He shook his head at Hal as he disappeared past him into the kitchen before walking over to the counter, grabbing a notepad and a pen and then bounced his way over to her booth.
Leah glanced up at him and smiled, grateful to see the werewolf instead. "Hi."
"Alrigh'?" Tom grinned rather enthusiatically back.
Leah shrugged, giving him a sheepish smile.
Tom smacked his forehead with the notepad lightly, rolling his eyes to himself. "Righ'. Yeah. Sorry." He said, finding himself almost stuttering.
"Are YOU alright?" She asked, raising a brow at his odd gittery behaviour.
Tom nodded, a bright, but now rather nervous smile on his face. "Before I take your ordeh... I was just wonderin' if maybeh ya wanned ta go far a drink sometime?" He asked anxiously. "With me. Obviously." He added with a nervous little laugh.
Leah stared blankly at him for a moment. "You're asking me out?" She asked, a little stunned. Sure, Tom was a real cutie pie, but was she actually attracted to him? She knew she could trust him personally, he was just a sweet and innocent little puppy, but what about his friends?
"I fink so." Tom stated, not quite sure himself.
Leah looked lost. "You think so?" She asked rather calmly, more confused now than anything else.
"I don't know. I've never actualleh asked anyone out before, so I'm kinda new to all this, to be honest." He admitted rather sincerly, in an adorable way, of course.
Leah found that she really could resist all of a sudden. She smiled softly and nodded. "Yeah, why not. What did you have in mind?"
