Went to my first anime convention yesterday which put me in the mood for a nerdy fanfiction update. Also won a Pokémon tournament while I was at it, but that is neither here nor there! xD

Chapter 25: Birds of a Feather

"Hey, Rhyme! I'm goin' out!"

"Oh…to see Eri?"

"Yeah, and we gonna catch a movie with Shiki and Phones!"

"Sounds fun."

"No doubt. Hey, you should come join us!"

"Nah, that's okay…"

"Huh? Why not?"

"Birds of a feather flock together."

"Birds? I ain't some animal, yo. And neither are you."

"That means that as a couple, you are going to hang out with other couples. And I'm freaking alone, so I'm going to continue to be alone!"

"Whoa…are you crying, Rhyme?"

"Shut up and go on your little date!"

"Hah, not a chance. I'm changing my plans and gonna watch a movie here with you. After all, if we ain't of the same feather, then no birds are."

"Beat…"

"By the way, what kinda bird are you thinkin'? Turkeys? Or peacocks? Cauz they have some pretty diverse feathers, yo."

"Hehe, just this once, I'll go with your response. Yes…we're turkeys."
