Chi of the Vampire
On Sodor that evening the Engines at Tidmoth were talking about Team Avatar, The Chan Clan The Cooper Gang and the Mane Six going to china to collect some antiques for Uncle's Shop
"Are you sure it was a good idea for them to go to China?" Gordon inquired.
"Gordon's got a point," Henry agreed, "China is home to a lot of dangerous creatures."
"Not to mention there's the risk that one of them could awake Nova the Phoneix if they're not carful!" James put in.
Keira who was in the sheds this time had to speak up, "Calm down, guys. They're in good hands. Uncle's a trained Chi Wizard and they have Aang Astral and Ty Lee along as back up so what could possibly go wrong?"
"Way to fucking jinx it, genius!" Nicole scolded her, "Didn't you pay any fucking attention to what happened the last time somebody said that? Something's bound to go fucking wrong and it's about to be your fucking fault!"
Edward looked sternly at her, "That'll be all, Nicole. The last thing we need to hear tonight is your potty mouth."
"Pardoning her language, Edward, but Nicole does have a point," Mary agreed, "We have tempted fate over the years and it's bitten some of us in the boilers." The Engines sighed at that comment.
Meanwhile in China, Team Avatar, The Chan Clan, The Mane Six, and the Cooper Gang were making their way to a manor with Astral pulling the Chariot,"Tell me again why I'm stuck on Chariot duty?" Astral inquired.
"Because you're the strongest among us Astral." Aang said.
"And besides, Astral, the Chariot is designed so that you're 3 times stronger than whatever is in the chariot." Ty Lee added. Astral sighed as the three dragons led the group to the manor.
Uncle spoke in excitement, "Uncle has made the deal of the century. All the antiques will be in my shop."
"With whatever you find you're sure to make some fortune." Rarity added.
"Assuming there's anything worth it there." Rainbow said in skepticism.
"This is like Chinese Transylvania." Jade said, as she looked around the scenery.
"Jade, you've been reading too many horror stories." Twilight told her with a roll of her eyes.
"And watching too many horror movies," Jackie added, but suddenly saw no trace of her, "Jade? Jade?"
Jade suddenly popped out before him, "Boo!"
"Bwaah!" Jackie and Twilight screamed, and jumped on both sides of Tohru, "Hello, Tohru." Jackie said sheepishly.
Soon the group arrived at the manor. Everyone looked up at it, as a single lightning bolt flashed in the sky with thunder, "Nice touch." Pinkie said.
"I can feel my spirit energy in this place growing stronger," Mira began, "I think this might be a good chance for me to train Camille in the ways of using Spirit Energy."
"Creepy place." Jade said.
"Sounds like Mai's kind of place." Camille said.
"Where's Mr. Lan? Isn't he supposed to be here?" Geoff asked.
Jackie turned and was suddenly spooked by a bear only to see it was just a statue carried by another, "Mr Lan I take it?" Carol inquired.
"Actually I'm the assistant. Mr. Lan is right behind you."
"Welcome to Son Se Manor." he greeted them, as Jackie was spooked yet again, before calming down.
"We're glad to be here." he greeted him.
"I will have my assistant load everything into your cart." Mr. Lan offered.
"Hold it," Uncle stopped him, "I want to examine the items. I do not want my shop to be full of junk."
"So then how did it get so full of junk?" Jade asked. Rainbow snickered, as she and Jade high fived. Twilight only sighed at the joke.
"They have already been examined." Mr. Lan assured him.
"Uncle insists."
"Please take them." Mr. Lan insisted.
"I will examine everything or purchase nothing!" Uncle argued.
Mr. Lan sighed, "Very well then. Please enjoy your stay in Son Se Manor."
"Thank you. I'm sure we will." Twilight answered.
Mr. Lan and his assistant took off, as the assistant spoke, "Perhaps we should've warn them?" he suggested.
"No! If they knew what was in there, we never would get rid of it."
Back at the Mansion, the group was looking around as Uncle spoke, "We must check every antique here."
"Considering I was able to sell a lot of Uncle's rare finds to valuable museums and make him a fortune." Pinkie said.
"I still have no idea how Pinkie Pie pulled that off." Maggie said in disbelief.
"I'm a good negotiator." The pony explained.
"I get the feeling that Mr Lan wasn't telling us everything." Geoff said in worry.
"What do you mean?" Fluttershy asked in concern.
"I mean he was trying to push all the antiques onto us. Almost like there is something hidden among the items that he wants us to take off of his hands."
"I don't know about you guys but I'm gonna go take a shower. I stink," Camille said, before turning to Carol, "Carol, care to join me?"
Carol did a double take, "Shower together?" she blushed thinking
"Relax, Carol. This place has more than one shower. I'm sure of it." she explained. Carol sighed in relief.
"In the meantime I'm gonna go find the library," Carl said, "If what Geoff suspects proves true then we'll need to be ready for anything."
"And that means, Jade, it's time for bed." Jackie ordered.
"We creatures of the night never sleep." Jade declared and ran off. Jackie sighed as he went off to find her.
"You think Camille is beginning to take after her guild mates?" Michelle asked.
"Pretty much," Seth confirmed, "Namely Erza. I can't believe how much she and Maggie almost resemble each other."
"It's a very scary thought and you know what else is Scary," Benjamin said, "If Geoff is right and Mr Lan is hiding something then we might want to ask Uncle what we're dealing with."
"Agreed, but for now I'll go find Camillem" Mira said, "I better make sure she hasn't embarrassed Carol yet." Everyone chuckled as Mira went off.
Meanwhile, Jade was checking out all the rooms, "Gotta give Jackie one last scare before bed," she looked over and spotted some kind of table, "A coffee table?"
Pinkie Pie suddenly popped up, "What'cha doing, Jade?"
"WAH!" she screamed, "Pinkie! Great now I'm getting spooked like Jackie."
"So planning to spook Jackie?" Pinkie asked.
"You know it. Wanna help?"
"Sure."
They crawled underneath the table, and could see Jackie's feet from where they were hiding, "Do we go now?" Pinkie asked in a whisper.
"Not yet." Jade whispered back.
Jackie called out from afar, "You're not going to scare me Jade so don't even try."
"So much for that." Pinkie sighed.
Jade looked up and saw a lock on the table, "What's with this lock?"
"Lock? Why would a coffee table need a lock?" Pinkie asked.
Jade got a good look at what the table was, "Probably cause this is a coffin table."
The two looked and Pinkie broke the lock. Inside the coffin they could see a pale decrepit creature, "What do you think it is?" Jade asked.
"Looks like a vampire." Pinkie poked it with her hoof.
The creature suddenly woke up shocking Jade and Pinkie, who on cue slammed it shut before bolting for it, "Jackie!" Jade cried.
"Help!" Pinkie screamed.
The duo ran into Jackie, "What're you two?"
"There's a vampire on the loose." Jade explained frantically.
"We're not kidding. You've got to see this." Pinkie pleaded.
"Jade, Pinkie." Jackie said feeling this was all a joke.
Jackie followed Jade and Pinkie to where they saw the Vampire but when they opened the coffin they discovered that it was empty.
"But it was here a minute ago." Pinkie assured.
"Once again you're letting your imaginations run wild." Jackie warned them.
"We're not making this up. This is the truth." Jade promised.
While Jade and Pinkie were trying to convince Jackie of the Vampire, Camille and Carol were in the shower scrubbing off.
"Kinda feels weird doesn't it?" Carol asked.
"It does at first but I would feel even weirder if I were sharing a shower with a guy and by the way can I tell you a secret?" Camille asked.
"I'm all ears."
"As beautiful as I am I don't think I could beat you in a beauty contest and if I were able to see my own inner beauty I would probably look hideous." Camille explained.
"What're you saying?" Carol gasped.
"I mean I'm naturally beautiful because of the genes on my father's side of the family and my mother's side of the family but it's my bad past." Camille enlightened her.
"Camille, the past is in the past and we can't change it. We can however work to create a better future." Carol told her.
"Thanks for the advice, Carol. I needed that," Just then the two girls then heard something, "Who is there?"
The something then began growling, "Camille, I don't think it's human." Carol shook.
"Neither do I," Camille then used some of her magic to see what was out there and it was the Vampire, "It's a Vampire. A Chinese Vampire."
"We're dead. We'll lose our blood." Carol began feared.
"Not really, Carol. This one is a Chinese Vampire. They steal Life Energy from their prey and the vampire grows stronger for each victim it drains."
"What happens to the victim?"
"They turn into servants of the Vampire. Fortunately for us we're both safe in the shower. Chinese Vampires can't cross running water or in this case the shower." Camille explained.
True to Camille's word the Vampire thought it heard something but then it left to look for another target. The two sighed in relief, "This is bad. We gotta warn everyone."
"You're right, but we can't go out like this. I have a plan though. We'll contact Aang and Astral through telepathy." Camille planned.
"We can do that?"
"Of course. Dragon Riders are able to contact their dragons like that even when separated.
"Then let's do it."
Carol and Camille called for Aang and Astral respectively via telepathy.
Astral spoke via telepathy, "Camille, I didn't think you'd have a need to call me via Telepathy. Something must be wrong."
"Astral, we got a problem. There's a chi sucking vampire loose in the place."
"This is bad. I hope you remember the Chi Tranfusion and Parchment spells I had you practice. We'll need them in the event the Vampire drains anybody. In the meantime I'll go warn everybody else." Astral said.
"Understood, Astral." Camille then ended the conversation on that note before speaking to Carol.
"I take it you managed to tell Astral of the Vampire like I managed to tell Aang?" Carol asked.
"I did but for now let's finish our shower."
Meanwhile, Carl had just finished reading books in the Library and was going to help Uncle when he ran into Tohru, "There you are, Carl. Sensei's ready to begin the examination of the artifacts."
"We better get started," Carl said. They started walking until they felt something fly past them from behind. Carl spun around looking scared, "Uh, Rainbow Dash, was that you?"
"If it were here then we would've heard the flapping of wings." Tohru said. Carl then got nervous and stood back to back with Tohru and before either of them knew it the Chi Vampire had shown up right before them and began draining their chi growing stronger and gaining muscles leaving them on the floor.
Back in Jade's room, Jade and Pinkie Pie were still trying to convince Jackie that the vampire was real, "Don't you watch scary movies? The beautiful girls are usually first to go." Jade pleaded.
Right on cue a thump was heard as Jackie Pinkie Pie and Jade raced out to see Tohru and Carl on the floor, "The Vampire got Tohru and Carl!" Pinkie cried.
"Or, they just have jet lag." Jackie dismissed Pinkie's theory.
"Does this look like tired to you?" Jade asked rhetorically.
Uncle then came in on Ty Lee's back with Seth and Benjamin, "How can Uncle examine artifacts with so little help?" he suddenly saw Tohru and Carl out cold, "Aiiyah. Jackie, Seth, guard the door in case it returns!"
"In case what returns?" Jackie asked in confusion.
Uncle noticed the table, "Hidden inside of an antique? Mr. Lan tried to trick us into taking it. Geoff's Seismic Sense was right."
"Take what, Uncle?" Jackie asked wanting answers.
Twilight walked in and answered, "A Jiangshi; A Chinese Vampire."
Jade and Pinkie turned to Jackie, "Told you!"
Jackie turned to Uncle and Twilight, "Did the little monster put you up to this?" he asked thinking Uncle and Twilight were playing him.
"Chinese Vampires drain Chi; Life Energy from their prey making the vampire stronger and turning the victims into servants." Twilight explained.
"So how do we save them?" Jade asked.
"We must preform a chi transfusion." Uncle said.
"As in put somebody else's chi into their bodies." Twilight added.
"Where are you going to find somebody with that much extra chi?" Seth asked.
Uncle and Twilight had Seth and Jade stand before Carl and Tohru respectively, "You both have plenty of youthful energy. Chi to Spare. It is the only way to keep Tohru and Carl from serving the undead." Twilight explained.
"Is this going to have side affects?" Jade asked in worry.
"Minor." Uncle answered. Uncle and Twilight began chanting as green energy flowed from Seth and Jade's eyes into Carl and Tohru's eyes respectively.
"Are you sure it is not jetlag cause I have not seen this vampire." Jackie said.
Right on cue, the Vampire grabbed Jackie and was about to drain his chi before it was tossed away by Tohru,"Thank you, Tohru."
"If that chi sucker thinks he can harm my friends then he's got another thing coming to him!" Tohru said with energy like Jade.
"The Chi Transfusion spell was successful." Uncle said.
"Looks that way to me and it seems Tohru is acting like Jade. Which means Carl's likely to sound like me." Seth noted.
They looked at Carl, "You know this reminds me of a story. About one of the River Monsters that one of my ancestors once hooked."
"Uh-huh, I was right." Seth confirmed.
Suddenly the group heard the Vampire only it began to fly, "It can fly?" Jackie gasped.
Tohru grabbed the wooden railing, "Not for long!" He threw it at the vampire, but it had no effect. Tohru then grabbed a second railing and prepared to stake the vampire only for Uncle to stop him.
"Tohru, this is a Chinese Vampire a wooden stick will not harm it nor will running a wooden stake through it." Uncle warned him.
"Then what do we do?" Pinkie asked.
"Hold our breath and have Seth create a Water barrier around us," Twilight ordered, "The Vampire cannot get past running water and it is currently blind. In the meantime Rainbow Dash go and wake the others. We'll need all the help we can get."
"I'm on it." Rainbow Dash went to go get the others as the Vampire came closer to them. Fortunately, Uncle had told them to hold their breath as the Vampire was currently blind and it could only find them by smelling their breath.
Pinkie suddenly felt like a sneeze was building up inside her. Pinkie Pie nearly sneezed if Jade didn't cover her nose. The vampire continued wandering aimlessly close to them. Fortunately a blast of air knocked it off course and Michelle showed up only she was wearing a Dark Blue bed robe on Rarity's back.
Michelle looked annoyed, "What the heck's going on why is everyone screaming?"
Before Michelle could get her answer the Vampire smelled her breath and grabbed her before she drained all her chi as well as Rarity's growing stronger and gaining eye sight, "Michelle! Rarity!" Jade cried.
"Let's hook this beast and send it back to Davy Jones' locker!" Carl declared.
"It's not a fish, Carl." Twilight said dryly.
"It's the fact that he's using my Chi, Twilight," Seth explained, "I tend to use Sea terms when I speak. Nevertheless he's right. We have to defeat it."
"But first we must save Michelle and Rarity," Uncle ordered, "Somebody go get Edna. Applejack, get over here."
"Roger that, Uncle." Applejack stood next to Uncle, as Twilight used a Teleportation spell to teleport Edna to their location.
Edna however was unfortunately wearing nothing but a satine robe and matching sky blue satine bra and thong which showed off her figure since she was expecting to get some sleep. She gasped seeing her state of dress before everyone, "Do you mind?!"
"This is an emergency," Uncle began, "We need you to spare your chi to save Michelle from serving the undead." he began Chi Transfusion Spell to transfer some of Edna and Applejack's Chi into Michelle and Rarity's bodies respectively.
Edna covered herself with her robe, "Did it work?"
Rarity and Michelle opened their eyes. Rarity spoke with a cowgirl accent, "Well, I vote we give this varmint vampire what fer!"
Applejack's eyes widened and said to the others, "I hope she never talks like that again after this."
"You rather we put Maggie's chi in Rarity's body?" Twilight asked rhetorically.
"Good point." The pony admitted.
"What's so dangerous about having Maggie's Chi in Rarity's body?" Jade asked.
Twilight looked at her dryly, "You really want an answer to that?"
"I do I do" Pinkie pleaded, but remembered the situation, "After we deal with the Vampire."
Suddenly the Vampire spoke, "There is nothing you can do to stop me. Now that I've gained so much Chi I can see and Talk."
"If it gains any more Chi then nothing will be able to stop it!" uncle feared.
"Camille and I were talking about that and there is one way to stop it for good." Michelle said.
"What is it?" Jackie asked.
"Ty Lee, take Pinkie Pie and keep the Vampire busy. Everyone else. Follow me to the Library." Michelle ordered.
"Will do. Come Pinkie Pie. Ty Lee flew off with Pinkie Pie on her back to distract the Vampire.
In the Library, the rest of the group which now included Maggie, Fluttershy Camille and Carol were in the library. The three human females were all wearing robes though Maggie was in a red silk bed robe Camille and Carol were in Black and Orange bathrobes respectively.
Twilight was levitating books around for Michelle and Camille. Camille and Michelle were hitting the books till Camille found something.
"Here it is. Just like I remembered. The way to stop the Vampire for good."
"And I found a parchment spell in case any of us did get turned into servants of the beast." Michelle said.
"Parchment spell not important. Spell to defeat Vampire is important." Uncle said.
"Right of course," Camille said, "All we have to do is steal the vampire's left sock, gather a toadstool from a graveyard, place the toadstool in the sock and toss said sock into a river. I'll go steal the sock. Somebody get a toadstool."
Fluttershy spoke timidly, "You mean go out there where the vampire is?"
"Do you want to stop the vampire from absorbing anymore chi, yes? Then we must find the toadstool." Carol ordered.
"Be lucky that you have the easy job, Fluttershy," Camille said, "I'm the one who has to steal the Vampire's left sock!"
"We better according to my calculations the sun rises in exactly 50 minutes." Twilight said. Camille then headed off to go and steal the Vampire's left sock with Astral carrying her while everyone else went to go find the toadstool from the Graveyard.
Later on in the graveyard outside the castle, the group was looking around for a toadstool. Rarity was getting down and dirty looking for one but so far they were having no success, "This is like trying to find a needle in a haystack." Rarity said.
Rainbow Dash was getting annoyed, "Why couldn't we have given Rarity Fluttershy's chi or better yet My Chi?"
"Because then we'd have a timid Rarity afraid of coming or we'd have to restrain her from doing anything reckless." Carol stated.
"Found it!" Rarity held up a toadstool.
"All we need now is the Vampire's left sock." Aang said.
Right on cue, Astral returned with Camille on her back and with the sock, "Uncle, we got the Vampire's left sock but Camille nearly lost her Chi." Astral said.
"Where is the Toadstool." Camille asked.
Rarity spoke with a Southern Accent, "Right here, pardner. Though wearing a dress is not what I'd do during this rodeo."
Seth pleaded to Uncle, "Please tell me you've got the spell ready, Uncle."
"All done." he chanted in Chinese while holding the toadstool and placing it into the Vampire's left sock, "All we need now is for somebody to place the Sock into a River."
"I got it. " Edna grabbed the sock and headed towards the river only to run into the Vampire, "Guys, help!"
The Vampire began chasing after Edna, but he got hit by some Earth compliments of Carol and Geoff bending it at him.
"Edna, get to the River. We'll deal with this creep." Geoff called
Edna nodded as she bolted for the river but the group could sense that the sun was almost about to rise,"In mere moments the Collective Chi will belong to me forever." The Vampire declared.
"Over my dead body!" Maggie replied.
Maggie then used some Firebending to try and torch the vampire. It wasn't able to stop him, but it did slow the Vampire down which in turn gave Edna the time she needed to toss the Sock into a River. The Sock then glowed bright green as energy flowed out of it and the chi the Vampire stole flowed out of the vampire and returned to the victims.
Rarity looked at herself in shock, "Good heavens! I'm completely filthy!"
"At least you're not speaking like me anymore." Applejack said in relief.
"Thank god I got my chi back. It was rough using all that sea jargon. I don't know how Seth does it." Carl said.
"Years of experience." Seth replied.
"Maybe the Vampire should get out of the sun?" Jackie suggested and covered Jade's eyes as the sun Vampire then crumbled to dust as the sun had risen.
Later on the group was leaving the manor with Ty Lee, Aang and Astral pulling the Chariot with the Artifacts and this time the group were wearing their usual outfits.
"Thank you for the loan it was cool, Jade." Tohru admitted.
"No problem, but I'm not sure Applejack got all her Chi Back. Rarity's coming up with Farm themed fashion ideas." Jade siad.
"I'm just glad this horrible trip is over." Edna said in relief.
"Horrible? What do you mean Horrible? Thanks to Vampire, Uncle and Pinkie Pie were able to bargain Mr. Lan down to quarter of price." Uncle said in satisfaction.
"And he threw in a very nice coffee table for no extra charge." Pinkie finished.
The group all laughed at that knowing Pinkie Pie had a lot to do with it as they headed home to take the antiques to Uncle's shop.
