Here is your guy's next chapter.
I tried this one focus more on Bee and Arcee's relationship more than anything. I felt as though I hadn't been really paying attention to that that much through out this story. I've been more focused on the action and drama more than the . . . romance :)
Sorry if you're not that interested in the romance portion, but this was solely meant to be that. I added the action parts later on.
Anyway enough of my explaining and stuff, enjoy!
Arcee
"Cee, Optimus said that you were to stay here." Jack reminded me as he struggled to keep up with my hurrying to get all the supplies I needed, "you can't just defy his orders like this."
I grabbed one of the weapons Fowler had left. It was just like the one Bee brought on board the Nemesis. It was meant to paralyze a cybertronian for a short period of time.
I slung it over my shoulder, " I'm not going to sit back and wait for everyone to come back with the thing that will fix Bee and I."
I heard Jack groan, "So you're just going to go onto a planet that you can't breath on and practically go into battle with a large population of Decepticons? That's not a very good plan."
I ignored the attitude filled comment. I had the gun, the breathing device, the suit that would allow me to walk on the Cybertron without any problems with the gravity. I didn't think I was missing anything.
"You're not going to change your mind are you?" Jack asked. He already knew the answer to that. Nothing he said was going to change my mind, " well, looks like I'm going too."
I stopped everything I was doing.
I turned toward him. His expression showed complete seriousness. Was he an idiot or something?
"No, you're not coming with me. You may have gone before, but I was with you . . . in my cybertronian body. This is too dangerous." I told him. I tried keeping a tone that would alert him of my seriousness.
"It doesn't matter, you're not going alone. It's just as dangerous for you as it would be for me."
"I already said no!" I shouted. He flinched a bit at my sudden volume increase. I sighed as my head hung down toward the floor, "I would never be able to forgive myself if something happened to you and I wasn't able to stop it."
I felt him grab my hand softly, "I wouldn't be able to forgive myself if you went alone and never came back and I could have stopped it."
"Well, it's a good thing she's not going alone then." A voice behind me said.
I turned swiftly to see who had spoken. It didn't really surprise me that the person was the only blond guy I knew.
"Bee, you're not coming either . . . like I said for the millionth time. I'm - going - alone."
He gave me a smile, "I'm as much a part of this mess as anybody. If you're going then I'm going."
I slammed my fist on one of the workbenches lining the wall, "Nobody is coming with me!"
They went quiet but their expressions didn't change. I didn't like yelling at them, but they wouldn't listen.
They couldn't come with me. Bee was weakened from his energon poisoning. If we had to do something in order to not get killed he may not make it. I had almost lost him only a day ago and about an hour ago. I wasn't going to risk it again.
I felt a hand go on my shoulder. It was gentle yet the amount of force that was being put into clutching my shoulder was enough to say that they were serious. I looked to see which of the two it was. Trying to sway me into changing my mind.
I was greeted by two big blue bright eyes. I remembered how they were dimmed when I first found him. How fragile he was then and how he still pushed on and made it. Now they were back to their ridiculous bright hue. It meant he was stronger than he was then. It meant he was ready to face his obstacles.
But was I ready to watch him face them?
The same half smile he seemed to always have plastered on his face when he was around me was there.
"I understand your viewpoint, Cee." His smile faded and was exchanged for a straight and serious expression, "But the same thing goes for me too. I couldn't bare to sit back and watch as you go and risk your life for me."
The blond put his other hand on my other shoulder, "I know you're not going to get the relic for yourself. You're too selfless for that. You're getting it to fix me, because I'm dying from this poisoning thing."
I was already shocked enough to hear Bee speak that much. Even with his new communicator thing he wasn't much of a talker if he didn't have to be. But then he went a step further.
Cybertronians aren't very big at showing affection through physical movements and actions. I had seen it though through my partners here on earth. Like when Bulkhead hugged Wheeljack. Humans on the other hand have strange inner responses though when these affectionate actions take place. They may feel warm inside. Feel carefree and loved. They may even feel comfort.
I felt all these things when Bee wrapped his arms around me in a hug. One of his hands was on the back of my head while the other clutched my shoulder softly. This wasn't a Bulkhead and Wheeljack hug either. This was gentle. It was comforting. It made me feel the strange response of warmth and ease.
"I on the other hand want to get the relic for you. This will eventually start happening to you with time. And to tell you the truth from experience-" he gave a small chuckle, "- it doesn't exactly feel that good."
He put his hands on my face and turned it so he could look into my eyes, "I wouldn't want to see you like that."
It appeared like he was finished, and to tell you the truth I didn't really know how to respond. I just stood there like an idiot gazing up into his face.
Finally I responded, "Look at you. Making me all gushy." I said with a light laugh.
He laughed in return. I stood there for a little while longer. Like a statue. That was until I looked over to see Jack with an uncomfortable look on his face. He totally ruined the moment.
I cleared my throat, "If you're coming then let's get moving." I said a little harshly.
I marched toward the ground bridge grabbing my supplies in the process.
"Yes ma'am" I heard Bee respond.
That charming little smart aft.
Jack
They were walking into the brilliant green and blue light of the ground bridge. Raf had activated it from above near the monitor.
Their little moment only seconds ago made me rethink pushing to try to come with again. So I just stood there watching as they left us.
"Wait! I want to come too; I've never been to Cybertron!" Miko hollered as she ran past me.
Raf turned the ground bridge off right before Miko could run through it.
"Raf! C'mon, don't you want to see what their planet looks like?" She attempted to persuade.
"Miko, I'm pretty sure you wouldn't like Cybertron." My mom told her from above near the orange couch. She had her elbow on the railing and her head rested against it.
"And why's that exactly?"
My mom stopped leaning on the railing and crossed her arms, "Because they don't have oxygen there, and you don't have any equipment."
Miko didn't respond.
My mom had a strange look on her face. Had she witnessed the awkward scene that had happened down near me? Is that why she was all . . . well, her?
"Mom, you . . . uh, okay?" I asked.
She turned to me with a confused look,"Oh, I'm just fine honey!" She looked down at the railing in front of her and smiled," That just reminded me of your father and I."
She looked back up at me. Her former expression was gone, "When we were younger that is."
Optimus
We walked on the deceased Cybertron. It killed me inside to see it in its lifeless state. It having nothing on it that was thriving. Just a giant sculpture of metal floating gallantly in the cold of space.
"Ratchet, how close are we to the relics location." I asked my medic who walked ahead of me with the tracker.
He stopped in his track, "By the allspark . . ."
He stared ahead at a giant cave. It looked absolutely uninhabitable inside. I could see some Insecticons lurking deep inside it. Scratches ran up and down the walls.
"This is it." Ratchet informed us, "This is where the relic's at."
Action is coming soon!
Some BeexCee fluff that felt really corny writing :)
Please review, follow, favorite(favoriting is always nice to see).
And I will put the next chapter up as soon as I can.
