I don't own Austin and Ally
Austin's POV
"Oh my goodness", Ally said sitting straight up.
"I know, it's not fair right", I asked looking over to Ally who was now trembling while holding her stomach.
"That's not it", she said shutting her eyes tightly. Ella looked over to me with fear shining in her beautiful little brown eyes, and we both rushed over to her side worriedly.
"What's wrong?", I asked immediately.
"Austin, get the car", Ally said gulping. "It's time."
"Oh gosh, we gotta get to the hospital! Sunshine, go get the bags we packed while I get Mommy!", I yelled. Ella ran over to the door and grabbed the slightly large suitcase Ally had packed…five months ago. Hey, she's the one that wanted to be ready.
"I'm going to be a big sister! Finally!", Ella exclaimed smiling. I would say I'm going to be a dad, but that would upset Ella and it would be a lie on my part since I already am a dad. I don't care what anyone says; Ella will always be my daughter.
"Sunshine, I want you to call everyone as soon as we get in the car, alright?", I asked.
"Of course I can Daddy", she said. Ella had the biggest smile on her face that I've ever seen. It may not be a good time, but I just had to snap a picture of that. Listen to me, I'm turning into Ally. Oh well, it was cute and she'll thank me for it later.
"Austin", Ally said, her voice lacing with venom that made me the tiniest bit scared of her at the moment. I quickly picked Ally up bridal style and made sure Ella was with us as I carried her to the car. My daughter is so smart. She got the suitcase, a bag full of ice for Ally to bite down on (how she knows about that I'll never know), and even locked the door behind us before opening the car door for us.
"Thank you Sunshine", I said as I helped strap both Ella and Ally securely in the back seat. I ran back around and turned to look back at my beautiful family that was about to be growing by two.
"Austin, hurry up!", Ally screamed. She sounded like she was in a lot of pain, which was probably true. I quickly cranked the car and hit the gas with my right foot, flooring it. Of course luck wasn't on my side today as I hear a siren coming up from behind me. "Austin, if you don't get us to the hospital in the next few minutes I will cut off every single piece of that blond mop of yours that you call hair", Ally threatened. I gulped as I pulled over and rolled the window down, but I wasn't scared of the cop.
"Son, you're in an awful lot of trouble. Do you know how fast you were going? You could've killed somebody", the officer said.
"Officer, please! My wife's in labor; we're about to have twins!", I exclaimed. He looked at me cautiously.
"Wife? Aren't y'all kids awful young to be married and parents?", he asked. I was about to reply but Ella beat me to it.
"They are twenty-four years old, and it shouldn't matter how old they are! Love is all that matters and I love my twin baby siblings very much, so get yourself back in that car and drive us to the hospital before my Mommy drops these babies on the car floor!", Ella yelled. To say I was shocked couldn't even describe my reaction, but then again, nothing with my beautiful baby girl really surprises me anymore. I'm so proud of her for speaking her mind for the people she cares about, but also a little scared for her since she just screamed at a cop.
"Um…I-I understand. How you doing in there mam?", the officer asked looking through the car door at Ally who shot him an annoyed glare.
"I'd be a lot better if you wouldn't be holding us up anymore and let us get to that hospital before I have your badge taken away! And yes, I can have that done sir", Ally said dangerously. The cop nodded quickly in fear and rushed to his car where he quickly escorted us to the hospital.
This is it. We're going to have the babies!
Ella's POV
"Daddy, what hospital are we going to?", I asked from the backseat. I was about to start calling everybody, but I needed to know where we were going to tell them.
"I don't know. Just tell them it's the one we always go to where Dr. Murphy works at", he said. I looked over to Mommy who was really sweaty and was breathing hard.
"Mommy, are you okay?", I asked.
"I'm fine baby, just call everybody", she said. I nodded and grabbed my phone that I got last year out of the new purse Maddie bought me for my birthday.
"Hey Ella, what's up girly?", Aunt Trish asked as soon as she answered the phone. I rolled my eyes at my aunt's craziness.
"I don't have any time to talk Aunt Trish. Mommy's going to the hospital! The babies are coming!", I exclaimed.
"Oh my goodness! She's in labor!? Dez, get Bri and get in the car!", Aunt Trish yelled. Apparently she's over at Uncle Dez's house again, but she doesn't live there. My missions are piling up now with all these clueless adults.
"Aunt Trish", I said sighing.
"Oh, sorry baby. I'll see you at the hospital. You're going to be a great big sister", Aunt Trish said hanging up. I smiled at that and dialed Maddie's number.
"Hey Ella", she said happily. "Aiden, do not touch the fire-"
"AHH!", was the sound heard from the background of Maddie's side of the line.
"Uh, sorry Ella, I think we have to go to the hospital. What'd you need?", she asked hurriedly.
"I needed to tell you that we're going to the hospital too. Mommy's having the twins!", I exclaimed.
"Oh my goodness! We'll be there as soon as we can! Don't forget to call Porter and them; the girls will love to see the babies", Maddie said.
"Maddie", came a whine from the background. I'm guessing it's Aiden since he's kind of hurt right now.
"I think you should get him looked at first", I told her.
"Oh yeah! Come on Aiden, we have to go to the hospital! See you there Ells", Maddie said and hung up. I just laughed. Now I need to call Grandma and Grandpa.
"Ella? Baby, is that you? What's wrong?", Grandma asked immediately. She's always so worried, and whenever I call she never answers with a simple 'Hello'.
"Mommy's having the twins! You and Grandpa need to come down to the hospital!", I told her quickly.
"Oh my goodness! Mike, Austin and Ally are having the babies…I don't care if the stupid football game's on!...These are your grandchildren!...Mike, get up!", she yelled. I sighed. Everyone's so distracted today.
"Grandma"
"We'll be there as soon as I can get Grandpa out from under the T.V.", she said. I smiled.
"Alright, bye Grandma. See you at the hospital", I said and hung up. This is taking forever! And why do we live so far from the hospital when we're always there? I mean we're still driving for goodness sakes!
"Hello?", came the voice of my best friend who I just realized I had called. Well, I called his house phone. Toby doesn't have his own cell phone yet.
"Toby!", I yelled into the phone. Mommy looked at me strangely from the other side of the back seat, but I could see her smiling a little. What's her deal?
"ELLA!? What's wrong!?", he asked worriedly. I smiled a little. "Are you sick!? Are you hurt!? What-"
"Toby", I said laughing as I cut him off. "I'm fine. I was just calling to say that we're on our way to the hospital-"
"THE HOSPITAL!? What hospital!? Why are you going to the hospital!?", he yelled. I had to pull the phone away from my ear, and Daddy was laughing from the driver's seat.
"Toby, shut up", I said sighing. "As I was saying, before I was so rudely interrupted, we're going to the hospital because my Mommy's having the babies!", I said excitedly.
"That's great Ella!", he yelled again, but he wasn't yelling because he was scared anymore.
"Toby, quit yelling; you're hurting my ears. I need you to tell your parents, Kelsey, Porter, and Alyssa so y'all can come down here and see them when they're born", I told him.
"Okay! I'll do whatever you want or need me to do! Ooh! I'm going to bring them two cars!", he exclaimed.
"Toby, no! They can't have cars yet, they're too-", I started, but the line went dead meaning he had hung up, "-young."
"What was that about?", Daddy asked from the front seat.
"Toby being his stupid self", I muttered sinking into my seat as both my parents were laughing. Well, Daddy was laughing. Mommy was trying to, but every time she did she started crying more. I feel bad for her.
"Don't worry about him baby…it takes boys a lot longer to grow and mature than girls", Mommy said as best as she could.
"Hey!", Daddy exclaimed. I just laughed.
"She's not lying Daddy", I said and he pouted. I can't wait to be a big sister and have the babies be a part of this fun and loving family too.
Ally's POV
Okay, I just now realized how much labor hurts! I mean, in the movies they make it look like it hurts, but they don't show exactly how much or how long we have to go through this. I'm about ready to kill my husband right now for…well, just for not having to go through this. And for not driving faster!
"Daddy, you might wanna hurry up. Mommy looks really hurt and also really mad at you", Ella said suddenly. I wanted to laugh so badly but it just came out as another cry in pain.
"Sunshine, I'm going as fast as I can. We even have a police escort", Austin said. Oh yeah, I also want to beat that cop senseless for delaying us even more. Man, with our track record you'd think we would've been smart enough to buy a house closer to the hospital.
"Daddy, hurry up! Not just for Mommy this time; I really gotta go potty", Ella cried. Oh my poor baby! I know I should be thinking that she has it easy if I'm in labor with twins and she only has to go to the bathroom, but she's my baby girl. A mother's instincts can never just go away. You always care about your children's pain more than your own. That's the only reason I can handle this pain right now.
"We're here!", Austin exclaimed as he picked me up and carried me into the hospital with Ella trailing behind us. I wish she didn't have to carry that suitcase; it looks heavy.
"Oh thank goodness you're here! We thought something had happened to you!", Mimi exclaimed when we got in there.
"Here Ella, I'll get this for you", Toby said grabbing the suitcase from Ella's hands. Awe!
"No time to talk; gotta go to the bathroom! Come on Maddie!", Ella yelled as she grabbed Maddie's hand and drugged her to the bathroom with her. According to Mimi, Mike is in another room with Aiden who burnt his arm in a fire somehow.
"Ally, are you ready?", Linda (Dr. Murphy's wife as I've mentioned before) asked me. I took a deep breath and gripped Austin's hand tightly before nodding. This is it…
"I'm ready"
Hey guys! Christmas is the time of giving, so I'm giving you all another chapter! Hope you liked it! Okay, so here's a little something to be thinking about: What will the babies' genders be? What are they going to name them? And…Is everything going to go according to plan with all of this? I bet you guys already know the answer to that last question, but I will tell you guys that I will NOT be killing off either of the babies, Ally, or any character as far as I know of, and I don't plan to. No children will die in this story; that's for sure. Hope that gives you all some clarification. Please read, review, follow, and favorite! And remember to review on those questions I asked you to think of if that's not too much to ask! :)
God bless you all!
